A friend recommended Ideal so I used them for a competitive bid. They had a better price and did a great job climbing and thinning a blaze maple as well as doing a cleanup on a dozen or so trees including nasty Hawthornes. Normally I would do this myself, except the climbing, but it was nice to see it done so quickly and efficiently. I’ve used Lance and the crew at Ideal Tree a number of times: storm-damaged limbs, maintenance trimming, and removal of diseased and borer-infested ash trees. They’re always professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. Most notably for me, Lance has an eye for artfully shaping a tree canopy - he spent a half day on shaping and cleaning up a scruffy locust tree and turned it into a centerpiece of our front yard landscaping.
