We've done a few pretty different hair styles - a long, layered butterfly cut and a short flippy bob and they all look great. I’ve been coming here for years. What started out as just a quick cut has turned into an all around family affair. All the barbers are solid; they are detailed in their cuts and don’t have egos that you find in other shops. They offer cuts, braids, perms, designs, and hair coloring all at a reasonable price. More specifically, one of the owners, Christina, is as good as it gets. She does it all well with specializations in detailed cuts/designs. What stands out above all else is her relationship with all the kids; she is patient even with the youngest, fussiest, or even those needing more attention (ie, disabilities). I can’t speak highly enough about the entire Blessed barber shop team.
This is by far one of the best barbers I have ever gone to. I started going to Carlos Hernandez about six months ago and I’ve had multiple haircuts full beard trims and even a facial. He provides an excellent experience, fun exciting makes you feel part of the barbershop. His online appointment system is super easy to use and fast. I also have my son go to him and he loves the experience as well so much so that he’s also gotten one of his best friends to start going to Carlos as well. I fully recommend going to Carlos for a full cut and trim and even your facial to help rehydrate your beard. Also the inviting environment that the barbershop gives to its customers when they walk in is excellent. It makes you feel like you’re part of the team.

Great barbershop, Chris takes lots of care to make sure you get what you want. The atmosphere is very homey and casual. I had a misunderstanding with the appointment time and Chris helped to sort it out quickly. There is a reason this place has 5 stars.

I have been coming here for more then 2 years now. I only come here because one of the barbers knows how to do a military/buzz cut and his name is Scott. For any other haircuts there is another barber who can help get the haircut you want. Great relaxing atmosphere and reasonably priced haircuts for $25 for men.

I received my first facial in concord area today from alchemy skin lab! I haven’t gotten a facial for two years and I relocated from SF to concord in 2024 so I was in desperate need of one. I spent months trying to find a place but I finally found one and im so happy with the service. The esthetician Mari is wonderful, she was very kind and caring during the whole process of meeting. I got the youthful glow facial and it was very relaxing, I felt clean afterwards and bright as the sun! My facial was amazing and I will be returning for consistent facials as much as I can, not only did I receive compliments afterwards but I feel really confident in my skin again without makeup and that is a must!

Carmen is an expert at her craft! I have seen her for microneedling, dermaplaning, VIPeel (chemical peel) and botox. The treatments she performs are medical grade and I also heal like a snake after intense skincare treatments. She prepared me with aftercare instructions for the best results and I felt comfortable contacting her if I had any questions. My results from Botox was natural soft result for my “bunny”, forehead lines and crows feet - no one can even tell that I had anything done ?
Her place is super cute and clean! Not to mention parking is a breeze.

I’ve had very good experiences with Xact Pool when my home warranty, Fidelity, sent them for pool pump repairs. Various things have happened but Zack has fixed it each time. When he hasn’t had the part it’s come in pretty quickly and he’s alway timely getting back for the repair. Home warranty has covered everything except once for a waterfall repair (which is excluded from our contract). Xact still repaired it for a reasonable price.
So happy with my lash lift, so much so I’ve been back as often as I can. :-) The ambiance is so relaxing and she does such a great job explaining step by step. I’m in love with my lashes!!

I went in to Silver Needles today with my brothers and I didn’t get a tattoo because I wasn’t ready yet. But they got one and the experience was great the people were so nice and welcoming. And the tattoo artist Bryan was a super cool guy and super nice. He also is a great tattoo artist and my brothers loved their tattoos and when I want a tattoo I’m definitely coming back to this place. I totally would recommend this place.

After getting three quotes we went with Water Heater Masters, Concord. They're a small, independently owned & operated plumbing company. Water Heater Masters replaced our water heater in 2018. Back then, their quote to replace our water heater was $900 lower than the best quote + Water Heater Masters installed a larger capacity unit that has been working flawlessly.
I contacted them to ask if they'd give me a quote on the Leak Detection/Auto-Shutoff valve. They confirmed they would since they offer a wide range of plumbing services. Their tech Dave came out the next day. Again they quoted far below the others. Dave came back & installed the unit. It's working perfectly!

Fantastic service, from start to finish. We called about a leak on Thursday afternoon, and Plumbing Solutions was the only company to pick up *and* send someone out the next day. They identified a leak from a pin-sized hole on one of our copper pipes, and fixed it in the same afternoon. Couldn't have been more thrilled with our service!

This is my second review for Standard Plumbing, six years after the first one. In 2017 we bought ALL our bathroom and kitchen plumbing supplies, faucets, shower, shower pan, etc from Standard Plumbing. They have been very helpful. Over the years we have enjoyed the newly remodeled bathrooms and kitchen. Six years later, one of the Grohe faucets started to have a very low water flow due to deposits.I went to the store to ask for assistance in buy a replacement part. One of the gentlemen working there, Johnny, has been very helpful. As soon as I provided him with copies of my 2017 purchases, he was able to track down the replacement part, reached out to Grohe and asked them to send us three replacement aerators for the three Grohe faucets. We have been Peshon's customers for many years. They have cleaned our area rugs regularly over the past 15 years. Rugs they have cleaned include several Berber style carpets from Tunisia. These are potentially delicate carpets and they have always done them effectively without color bleed or loss. The Peshons folks come, roll up the carpets and take them away. A week or two later they bring them back looking great. I like the people and I like the service.

We live in Hayward calif and We had laminate flooring,ash gray was the colors installed in are 3 bedrooms and both bathrooms, including removing the old linoleum flooring, in both bathrooms which involves removing both toilets. We had them put 2 new toilets in since the old ones were out. They also removed all the old carpet and debris..from other 3 bedrooms. The whole job which was alot took three days. Which was amazing. They were extremely professional and did an amazing job. They cleaned up everything and made sure we were completely happy with the job. We even got a text from the company making sure we still happy after they left. I would use them again and highly recommend there services.

Ramiro Solis called to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived, I explained the problem I was having with the outlet for my sprinkler control working only sporadically. He got right to work and found some loose connections. When he finished tightening everything, he took time to double check that the sprinklers were working - he even waited 5 or 10 minutes before checking again to make sure the outlet was staying live. I am very happy with him and his work.
It’s always tricky finding the right contractor but in this case Green Group made it easy. Once we contacted them for some roof work, Roy Mol, our dedicated project manager showed up the very next day to review what was needed and provided a quite immediately. Most other contractors we reached out to never actually got back to us which leads me to the second highlight about Green Group. The level of communication provided by Roy and Ailer was excellent. They were always in touch about the status of the project, on-site to inspect the work, and provided updates consistently with a level of white glove service you don’t typically see. The crew was punctual, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. And our porch looks fantastic! 10/10 would recommend (and ask for Roy if you can)

I met with Shay for a home consultation recently and was given a comprehensive bid to renovate two bathrooms, a kitchen, and dining room fireplace. He was knowledgeable, detailed and even pointed out potential water damage from an unrelated roof inspection that my husband and I ended up having to handle right away. I interviewed two other contractors and HQR's bid was pretty comparable with consideration of adding the cost of sourced materials. The only reason we did not move forward with renovations was because the roof issue turned into a separate nightmare. But we look forward to working with Shay and the team in the near future. Also, Bella was a delight to talk to over the phone for my first point of contact.

After 20 years, we suddenly found traces of mice in our home. We decided that we needed a professional or else we'd probably be forever dealing with the problem. We did a search and came across Echobots. We saw good reviews: quick, honest and reasonable prices. So we called for a consultation. Josiah came quickly and, after looking around, gave us a rundown of what he observed and his proposed course of action which made a lot of sense. He also gave us a draft cost estimate which was quite reasonable. He did not pressure us. Instead, he told us that he'll have an estimate typed up for our consideration. Monica sent us the estimate within a day and we approved the work.
When Josiah arrived, he did a thorough inspection around our home, found and fixed the entry points. He showed us where they were and the repairs that he had done. He then set traps around the suspected areas of activities including our attic. He came back to check on us weekly and took care of new developments until there were no traces of activity (two weeks).
Josiah took care in explaining things to us and answering our questions. He and Monica were very pleasant to work with and provided very good communication on next steps so we knew what to expect.

I asked Oakland Hills Brush Clearing to come out to give an estimate on getting rid of a lot of poison oak encroaching near our house, and they recommended we have J Spray come out to spray the poison oak beforehand to reduce the risk for the workers (and reduce the overall cost).Dan came out and was helpful, honest, knowledgeable, realistic, and transparent. He was thorough and thoughtful! We definitely will ask J Spray to come out again in the future and we highly recommend them!!!

Jorge and his team are skillful at what they do, flexible with my requests, and trustworthy through the process. On top of that, he offers a very competitive price. What more could one ask?We have a 45-foot or so redwood tree at the cross of my backyard and the neighbors. Jorge and his crew were able to get everything cut down with speed and quality. They cleanup really well afterwards. They deserve at least a 10% bonus over the original project quoted price, with everything considered.

I thought 8 am might be a bit early for power tools and chipper noise in the neighborhood, but the crew was so quiet as they diligently trimmed with hand saws and pole trimmers.
It wasn’t until about 9:30 when the chipper was turned on to grind the limbs and clean up the yard—a very thoroughly clean up I might add.

I don’t do this very often but I had to take the time to say how wonderful Casa Dental is and Dr. Cassani in particular. The front desk and assistants are always so friendly, helpful, and fast. I can tell he really cares about making my experience at the dentist a positive one. I really appreciate that he is always talking through what he is doing and why. Dr. Cassani is also extremely efficient. I’m always so impressed how fast he gets me out of my appointments and as someone who has dental anxiety, this makes things so much easier. I can hardly feel it and with tips he’s given me about drinking lots of water after my appointments, I feel like I get feeling back super quick which is so nice! The last thing I’ll say about this guy is that he does immaculate work. Dr. Cassani apparently use to be a violin maker and it shows. His attention to detail catches things that I don’t even see or feel. His fillings always feel and look better than what I was there originally. I can’t tell you how many fillings I have got over the years where dentists didn’t care about if something was left rough or the color didn’t really match. This review is for Dr Rachel Callaway and her team- wow! They are the greatest. I drive all the way from Oakland to Clayton just to see them. My family had been with Dr Becker since 1993, and Dr Rachel took over the practice when he retired several years ago. He chose the absolute best person he could have- agreed by my whole family, now very much in different phases of our lives. As someone who is sometimes somewhat terrified of dental work, she and her team are that perfect combination of soothing, skilled, professional, and kind. Linda has been our hygienist all these years and we are so lucky to be in her hands- she has that gentle confidence and skill of having done this a long time. I've been enjoying my visits with Gloria and Align and Balance Chiropractic. I'm pregnant and I had severe hip pain starting around the middle of my second trimester where I could barely walk. I found her through my insurance, read other great reviews, and saw she was able to work with pregnant women so I decided to give this place a shot. Gloria's adjustments are gentle and effective and my hip pain is relatively gone! I'm in my third trimester now so having normal lower back pain since the baby is growing at a much faster rate. Gloria's weekly adjustments have been life saver where I'm not in an incredible amount of pain and able to keep up with my daily life. Cannot recommend Gloria enough! Additionally, her staff is so kind and makes scheduling appointments so easy. I've never had a problem scheduling an appointment to my availability. They are also good with following up on anything. The office is on the street side of Diamond blvd, corner of the building!
If I could give Megan 10 stars, I would. I have been to see Dr. Jon for chiropractic and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. And now, I can confidently say that I wouldn’t trust anyone else but Megan with my massage. I opted for a 60 minute massage but I wanted to focus ONLY on my neck and shoulders and I wanted to sit in a chair because I am too uncomfortable on a massage table. Unbroken Body was able to accommodate every request I made and this was by far the best massage I’ve had. Megan is very intuitive. She listens to your individual needs as opposed to just applying technique. That being said, her technique is EXCEPTIONAL. She made sure pressure was adequate and what I needed throughout and I felt comfortable enough to tell her if I needed anything to be adjusted, which is not always the case! Also, very sweet and easy to talk to but was respectful about giving me a relaxing experience during my massage. I am so glad I found these people!

God answer my prayers when I met Dr. Capucao at the Concord Chamber event. He's works at The New Health Chiropractic Center. At the time I wasn't able to sleep through the night without waking up with severe pain in my right knee. After two treatments I was able to sleep through the night. At The New Health Chiropractic Center they not only get your back to normal, but they have educational classes and programs that helps you maintain good health.

We love ABC Veterinary Hospital! They always take good care of our cat. They are very warm and friendly and take the time to explain why something may be a concern or not. They are so kind and gentle with our pet. We feel safe bringing them there knowing they are in good hands!
When I bring my doggy there she gets compassionate and professional treatment. I have been going there over the last three years, I took all the recommendations the doctor gave and my dog benefitted for example, Bella, my dog had extreme itching so the doctor recommended an allergy shot an her Itching and scratching immediately went away. Five stars!!

I can’t recommend Pampered Paws enough. I took my girl there today and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. She was treated with so much kindness, patience, and care, which immediately put me at ease. She corrected the choppiness left by another local groomer and blended her coat so beautifully. The difference was incredible. My pup looked amazing, but even more importantly, she was happy, calm, and clearly well taken care of when I picked her up. I could tell right away how peaceful the environment was, and it truly showed in my dog’s demeanor. It means everything to know your pet is groomed with such genuine compassion. We will definitely be back. Thank you for taking such great care of my girl.

We have been coming to Dirty Dawgs for 3+ years (specifically Shelby). We get the works for my medium short coated girl Cali which includes a de-shed, wash, dry, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal glands expression for a very affordable price. My girl always looks so clean and happy, and doesn't shed for a month afterwards. She almost always leaves with a cute bandana or bow. Highly recommend!

The two guys at the front desk (I think Antonio and Brian) were very professional and friendly. My therapist, Kennadi, was also great. All the little things were done perfectly - pressure, music, checking in, etc. I would highly recommend this location and working with Kennadi.

I had a deep tissue massage with Lisa. I went in with terrible back pain, and it’s already so much better. Somehow, she managed to make a deep tissue massage both effective and relaxing.
I have been going to Touch of Class Bodywork for a little over a year. Jason gives the best massages ever! He is insightful, knowledgeable, and passionate, and he really gets to know you and what your needs are. You will not get an "industry standard" massage, unless that is what you want! Best deep tissue massage in the Bay Area.

I started with a facial and finished with a massage, which was the perfect combination. Luis gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. I was extremely tense, and he was able to work out a stubborn knot in my leg. I highly recommend him.
My facial with Niko was equally wonderful. He was attentive and professional, and my skin felt refreshed, glowing, and happy afterward. I look forward to returning for more treatments in the future!

10 out of 10! Praj helped with ongoing R shoulder pain. I was amazed and happy with how quickly she had it moving pain-free. Super knowledgeable and personable. I'll definitely come back in the future should any other body part decide to not cooperate and require physical therapy. Front desk staff and PT assistants are all helpful as well.
