He also went out of his way to take a look at a second furnace in our home to make sure everything was set up properly. Gave me some suggestions/options on a few things we could fix, but was not pushy at all. In fact, he told me how I could potentially fix the issues on my own at a lower cost, until we were ready to properly have their team get it fixed down the line. This also involved redoing the family room on the first floor including removing an existing brick fireplace to make-way for a new insert and new surround. The work was completed efficiently and with quality results and we are very happy overall. Most importantly, Ron has stood by his work, we have had two minor issues come up since the completion of the work and in both instances he has had a crew out to evaluate the concern within a day or two and then quickly worked with us to create a plan to address and fix the problems. “Smart Heating and Air Conditioning tech Sam Hakimi came to do a heater checkup on March 15th. I thought it was going to be a rather lame, 10 or 15 minute affair like has happened before with other HVAC companies, but no, it was an ACTUAL checkup. He spent about an hour here carefully inspecting, measuring, calculating, taking all kinds of pictures, etc. At the end, he advised of the findings, including how the people who installed our system about 10 years ago picked totally mismatched and sub-optimal equipment and how that will result in reduced lifespan of our heater, and some things we could do in how we use it to extend that lifespan as far as possible. Sam was friendly and professional, and even wore a mask! And at the end, he followed up with a detailed email which, among other things, included many relevant pictures of our system. I had a similar experience when my AC condenser unit was inspected and cleaned by them last season, and is why I am the one who asked them if they had a monthly subscription program and promptly signed up for it. So this inspection was included and no extra charge. This heater inspection was late because of me... they kept calling to schedule it, but I kept not getting back to them until a few weeks ago. I plan to do better in the future, but I appreciate their persistence and excellence. Thank you Sam + Smart Heating and Air Conditioning team!“
