“In a word, "FANTASTIC!" Upon entering this office for the first time, the courteous and friendly staff greeted me as if I had been a patient for many years. When I provided the eyeglasses that I was wearing to the Office Manager ("Jennifer")--not only did she clean them--but she also repaired the broken earpiece that I had been told by my previous optometrist was "irreparable." Then a comprehensive eye examination was performed by several members of the office staff--including a digital scan of my eyes that allows a chronological database of eye health to be maintained over time. The final part of the exam was performed by Dr. Ruzicka himself--whose vast knowledge and experience in eye healthcare became apparent throughout the exam. Despite my numerous questions throughout the eye exam, Dr. Ruzicka patiently and candidly answered all the questions that I posed to him. After the exam, I met with another staff member who fitted me for eyeglasses--and the entire visit concluded with how it started--with "Jennifer" completing the eyeglass adjustment and completing the financial aspects of the office visit. In summary--Dr. Ruzicka's practice is a model for how all medical practices should operate--with professionalism and the utmost attention and care being provided to all clients who walk through the door to Dr. Ruzicka's office. (Aside: When I returned for another visit to pick-up my new eyeglasses--which were perfect(!)--"Jennifer" graciously fixed yet another broken pair I had at home!) Kudos and a heartfelt "thank you" to Dr. Ruzicka, Jennifer, and all other staff members who provided such an outstanding level of care and service to me during my visits to their office. “You must call for an appointment. This is the best optical place. The owner, Julian, who has help me with new glasses, frames, repairs and such since 2008 (14 years) is great. I did call today but Julian did not answer because he was already booked with customer appointments. I showed up at his store just incase he was there. He still squeezed me and another customer in and let us drop off our broken glass. He already had other customers with appointments. The older couple that did not have an appointment, he told them that their glasses would be done in 30 minutes. He told me to come back in 90 minutes and my glasses were ready.He was able to repair my glass that I had step on and had broken them. When he was done my glasses were perfect. He has the largest selection of glasses and great prices. His repair prices are inexpensive !!! He only allows one person in the store at a time and prefers that you make an appointment. The best repair place for glasses and the best selection of frames.Julian is very interesting, kind and knowledgeable. Call ahead for your appointment and wait until he calls you back probably on the following day. Julian was wearing the most amazing looking frames. It is time for me to get new glasses because those frames were beautiful! I will be back !!! Thank you!“

“I am loyal to a brand of sunglasses (Maui Jim) & wore out my old pair. Couldn't be tightened any longer. I looked in a few places, but they seemed much more expensive than my old ones. I was passing this location & stopped to check out their price. It was much less than the other "chain" store and Gita was very friendly & helpful. About 6 months later I lost them while hiking and was going to be driving down to SoCal for the holidays. I went back & she saw my old ones in her computer & said she could re-order the same ones but didn't know if they'd make it with the holiday only a week away & deliveries running late. She called me 2 days later & I was able to have them for my trip.Thanks, Gita!!!“
