I called Wave today and was able to get an appointment in the early evening.Chris was responsive and kept me updated on his arrival time - and he arrived right on time.He inspected the dryer and made a quick assessment which consisted of a thorough cleaning of the mechanical parts and some lubricant. He quoted me the price and told me he was sure he could fix the problem right then and there.I went to check on him after 20-30 minutes and he showed me a pulley that he replaced. He said it was better to replace it now. He didn’t charge me for the part, and told me it was included in the initial estimate.Chris is honest, efficient, and quick. After 35 years of doing refinishing in the Tri valley area I decided to come out of retirement to a very large kitchen and laundry room Refinishing project. My husband and I am so pleased with the workmanship that was performed in our home. Everything was done per our requests. Four years later, it all looks just as good as when it was newly completed. The quality shows, from the material used, installation, painting, to the excellent team that worked in our home. At the time, I recall Ervin, Gabriel and Derek. They were very appreciated. I needed to replace an old fence and build a new deck in my backyard. Being new to the area, I had to find a good contractor by talking to neighbors, searching Nextdoor Network and Yelp. After 2 months' search and talking to half a dozen candidates who lacked one thing or another, I finally found J&B Fence & Deck. Matt Julian, the contractor, was prompt in response, easy to talk to, and reasonable in his quote. He is highly knowledgeable in his business, fair and honest, and fully licensed (unlicensed ones who didn't disclose that ahead of time had wasted my time.) He was also flexible in making adjustments in the planning process. His crew was fantastic, both for the fence and the deck. He or his crew responded to any questions I had during the process. Eric attended to my picky details, made 4 benches for the deck from scratch that was quite challenging and I was impressed. The cleanup was thorough. I am so glad I found Matt for these 2 jobs. He is highly professional and knowledgeable, easy to work with, prompt in actions, has great workmanship, pays attention to details and provides final touches towards perfection. Both the fence and deck projects were finished with excellent quality and a great experience. A contractor like J&B Fence & Deck and Matt Julian is rare and truly adds joy to your life!
I want to shout out about excellent service at a very reasonable price we’ve got from Eric and his crew. Everyone we worked with at Alta Vista was very professional and knowledgeable. Eric is very compassionate and gave us invaluable advice. I lost my dad and my family was lost, confused and overwhelmed by the process. Eric made the process so much smoother. I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend Eric and his crew.
TLDR: Great job on a repair by a couple of guys who know their stuff and are genuinely nice human beings.Our furnace stopped blowing air, so we had effectively no heat or AC. I had a recommendation for this business from our neighbor, so I called for help.Two gentlemen, both named John, came over to troubleshoot. After I explained the situation, they navigated the obstacle course of our attic space and started digging into the problem. They diagnosed the problem as the furnace's control board, or maybe the blower motor (which I suspected). They located the needed parts, and said they'd set up another service call to do the actual repairs. A few minutes after they left, they called me back with a new plan, they'd just go grab the parts (warehouse in Concord) and come right back. No objections from this end!After they got the new control board installed, we spent a little time testing everything...they changed the filter and asked me to run the AC and then heat. They checked the air flow at all the vents to be sure everything was OK. No upselling was involved, I specifically asked how our system looked to them and they said other than the problem they fixed, everything is running fine. We had a few minutes of downtime here and there to chit-chat. They answered all my questions and I have the impression of professionals with a good store of knowledge and experience.I'd definitely use this company again if I needed HVAC repairs or servicing.

This was my very first time using them because I want to get my cat established with a local vet. After reading the reviews, I decided to give they a try. From the lady that answered the phone when I booked my appointment, to the vet techs and vets on staff, I was impressed. It was refreshing to have an animal hospital that is organized, welcoming, knowledgeable, and honest. I'm very happy I took a chance here, they now have a long term client :).
