I highly recommend this spa! I have been researching beneficial red light therapy and this spa offers a higher level of light therapy that is hard to find. I love that they have the beds that you can go into to do your whole body. These devices would cost so much to purchase, it’s better to come here as you can also go into the sauna and showers after. if I lived closer I’d want to do that every single day!
Now, the sauna is pretty epic. They offer iPads for your viewing pleasure , which you can hold or place in a cabinet to watch, hands free.
Honestly, this spa is nice because I go to the sauna at my gym and you could not do that there, nor have your phone or music.
Here, they offer infrared options and you can go through the color options which are beneficial in many different ways.
I love that there is a private room where you can leave your phone, your belongings amd have complete privacy. I really liked the mint cool towel, such a nice and much needed amenity.

Stephanie is amazing. I've been getting my haircut with her for a few years now, and I'm fortunate to have met her. It's never easy to find a great hairstylist, and when it comes to men's cuts in the East Bay, she's been my favorite. She is very detailed-oriented and specifically focused on every haircut while being an incredibly interesting and great person. I enjoy catching up with Stephanie just as much as I do the haircut! As you walk in her shop, she'll give you a warm welcome, offer you a water or beer as you sit in the chair, and it's go time. Most importantly, Stephanie knows what looks good. Let's be honest, we all want to look like Brad Pitt from Fight Club, but when we ask a hair stylist for that cut, we look terrible. Stephanie will look at you, your face, your structure, your hair, and she will cut your hair in the way that will look the best on you! Trust the process.

I needed a beard trim while visiting family in Walnut Creek, I rang a few different barbers who all said they were too busy (it was 22nd December) I rang Walnut Creek Barber Shop who said they were busy but they would sort me out and just to come down. I walked in and they were extremely busy, but one of the guys had his chair open and sorted me out straight away. Great beard trim very friendly guy and greatt price. I will visit again when I'm next in WC!

I Love Aurora! Natural solutions to beauty and wellness! I have received the most beautiful, natural looking spay tans. Results oriented but organic facials, and today I tried their mineral based “natural teeth whitening!”Totally impressed!!! I was skeptical because the last teeth whitening I received was from a dentist. It was uncomfortable, expensive, took 45 minutes longer than advertised, and most importantly I saw VERY little improvement. At Aurora. I received, caring, comfortable service. It was fast! Huge difference!!!! My teeth look great and do not hurt! All in all relaxing environment ( I fell asleep!) perfect!! Surprising!! I’ll be back!

Wonderful nail salon with the kindest people! Deena made my entire visit so special. I am disabled severe pain conditions and in a wheelchair. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, thoughtful, and compassionate. She truly blessed me with her beautiful heart and did an amazing job on my toenails! She knows exactly what she’s doing and made the experience very comfortable for me. I can’t have my feet rubbed and need cold water, and she carefully worked with me to ensure I was comfortable in every way. The chairs are very comfortable, and the salon is clean and welcoming.
The nail technician who did my nails Jennie also did a fantastic job and was very kind. From the manager who helped me get safely into an Uber in my wheelchair, to the staff who created such a positive and welcoming atmosphere, every part of my visit was excellent. Also loved the relaxing hand massage by Deena.
These are now my natural nails and I highly recommend Smiley Nails and will definitely be coming back. This salon has earned a permanent spot as my go-to nail salon!

I walked in right as the doors opened, and it sounded like the staff were fighting. Employees were running around chaotically while the owner shouted orders across the salon in front of guests waiting for their appointments.
I sat down for my mani-pedi, and the foot bath was icy cold. My manicurist was fast, but not careful. She made me bleed. My pedicurist gave me a massage like she had nothing left in the tank, then rinsed my feet with water so hot I actually yelped. She painted outside the lines and cleaned it up afterward with acetone. The whole appointment has felt like a pit stop.
The only thing consistently relaxing has been the massage chair.

Liz at Timeless Beauty Bar has been doing my waxes for years now! She does an excellent job at waxing my eyebrows and bikini area. I get the Brazilian wax and the wax she uses never irritates my skin. She also has great products like the Fur Oil that really helps prevent ingrowns. During the service she makes me feel relaxed and at ease!

I've been going to Salon Cartier more than 10 years (15??--it's been a while). It's always been the best experience and I look forward to it every time. It goes without saying, Robin and her crew do an amazing job on my hair, but they also make it feel like the most welcoming and friendly environment, almost like hanging out with friends who happen to be extremely serious about making you look good.
I had pretty long hair when I started going there--and I used to think long hair was kind of self-sustaining and didn't require much attention, but I was amazed at how much they were able to do with it to really make me look great--more rock-and-roll and less barbarian hippie (which is where I think I was at when I started with them). Eventually my hair got a bit thin and my hairline was giving me trouble, and I decided to go with a shorter look, that I've stuck with now for years, and it's a great look that downplays any struggles I've had with my quality and quantity of hair. They also do an amazing job on the color--it looks totally natural, though they can make your gray hair look awesome, too, if you decide to go that route.
Anyway, Salon Cartier is highly recommended by me--some men feel weird about going to a premium salon, but you'll feel right at home and it's totally worth it.
Kylee is the consummate professional and amazing lash artist. When I moved from So Cal to the Bay Area in early 2023, my previous lash artist researched the aestheticians in the area and selected Kylee based on everything she read about her. And I am so happy she found Kylee! I highly recommend her to anyone who is picky about their lashes. In addition, Kylee is a wonderful human being!
Best hair cut! I go to see Mozgani. She is awesome. I get a pretty short hair cut and she is able to work around my cowlicks and makes it look great. They also have really good quality hair products for sale in-house. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Reagan at this salon for about 2+ years now and I am so happy to have found this place. I get my cut, color, and extensions done here, and since I have thinning hair, Reagan is so thoughtful about making sure not to damage my hair. She also goes above and beyond in finding creative ways for me to get what I am looking for. I have also been looking for someone who can do the perfect ash-brown color for me and I love the mix she has created for me, I always get a ton of compliments on my color. The salon is in a great location, I always feel relaxed being there and I highly recommend this place to anyone!

I've been going to Massage Envy for years for massages and facials and have been generally happy with both. It is a bit pricey, but the staff are very responsive if I have any problems, most providers have been good and I have very few complaints.
Amy Lee is a gem! She is honest and responsive to feedback when it comes to my hair - she works with me to find a style, color etc. that matches my vision. Even more importantly, she’s kind, funny, and great to talk with. I love my time with her. It’s like a little escape! HMS plumbing saved the day! My water heater not only went out Monday, but was leaking all in the garage. I had googled plumbers and was scheduled for next day estimates. I called Harry (referred to by my sister) and he was at my house within the hour. He gave his estimate and was here the next day hours before he originally said. He added copper piping, a relief valve that actually worked, new lines, a tray, pvc piping, etc. He told me step by step of everything he did, how to work the ignition, showed how he positioned the valve handles to be reachable. He had the new heater delivered to the house and took the old one away. I am beyond satisfied with his work, his demeanor, and his honesty.

I had a 16 Kw whole home Generac generator installed by Golden State Power Systems 5 years ago. The house is located on a steep hillside in close proximity to the neighbors house, so the install job was pretty complex running the gas pipeline up the hill. Two other contractors passed on the job because of the difficulty in transporting the generator down 55 stairs and installing a lengthy gas line. TJ and his crew were great and didn't balk at the complexity of the job. TJ is the consummate professional - knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He explained the plans in terms I could easily understand as someone totally unfamiliar with generators and the process. The generator has run flawlessly for the 5 years I've owned it, firing up within seconds of a power failure. I highly recommend this company.

I hired Extreme Clean to clean the house in preparation for staging and listing on the market. They did a very good job getting everything clean including the windows. In addition to a thorough general cleaning, we also had them do a deep cleaning of the entryway tile, which was about 35 years old and the tile in the original bathroom from 1957. Both floors came out really well. The entryway had about 1/4" grout, which was restored to its almost original color and the bathroom floor was the cleanest I had ever seen it. It may not be cheap, but they certainly us our money's worth.
We were desperate when our regular house cleaner called in sick the day before Thanksgiving. I went on line and called The Clean Sweep people. Laura answered the phone and assured me that she might have a crew who could clean our house that day. She was very warm as well as concerned and told me she would call me right back. She did exactly that and told me a crew of two people would be at my house at noon. The husband and wife team showed up and did a good job of cleaning my house. The price was 50 percent higher than I had been paying however I had little choice. They were there and did a good job. I would most definitely recommend them.

Needed replacement of 2 areas of hardwood floor that had water damage. The replacement was done very cleanly and nicely, leaving a virtually invisible patch. Fortunately I had my own leftover wood from prior installation. While it involved some power tool work, no sawdust escaped the vacuum system, and everything was left perfectly clean and tidy. Would certainly use this business again.

He's like a body magician. I've never let anyone crack my neck but he's really good at it. He even did my 4 and 5 year old grandaughters. Dr. Baker was instrumental in helping turn my breech baby. I had been hanging upside down off my couch for weeks, trying to get my stubborn baby to turn head-down, and he wouldn’t. I ended up going to Dr. Baker on the recommendation of a friend, and he managed to get the baby head-down in short order. That baby is now 11, and still as stubborn as ever. Dr. Lawlor has given me my life back! I was suffering from severe cervicogenic dizziness, which got worse when when I was trying to fall asleep. I also had neck pain, ear pain, headaches, and TMJ-like issues. It was a kitchen sink situation! For neck and back issues, I had always previously visited traditional chiropractors with success. But when the dizziness and these other symptoms came on, the traditional chiropractors did not get me any results that lasted more than 30 mins. It was frightening and I am so grateful that Dr. Lawlor knew exactly how to fix it. It's amazing how the tiny Blair adjustments heal! Great customer service and referrals. They are backed up 16 weeks, but they were so nice and accommodating with referrals, suggestions, and information. I hope I can get my pup in one day. I want to apologize for my misinformation. The rehabilitation program for this vet is backed up by 16 weeks, not the hospital itself.
We have nothing but praise for the staff and the care here. We started going here for physical therapy for a 13 year old dog at Canine Rehabilitation Center. He had arthritis and was also receiving treatment for cancer at SAGE. The physical therapy work they with him made a huge difference. The cancer ended up taking him, but he had very happy, energetic and enjoyable live up until the end.
We now use Muller as our primary vet for two dogs. The vet we were using previously was bought by Thrive and the quality/availability of care became unreliable. The prices are reasonable and the staff are great.
Dr. Bedros is by far the most vet i have met that genuinely care about his profession and the animals he treats and diagnose.
I always know my cats will receive excellent care at Walnut Creek Veterinary Hospital, and we love Dr. Thistlewaite. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and kind.

Amazing hot yoga studio with friendly staff and teachers. Lots of variety in the classes from a pilates style workout to restore yoga. My favorites are Signature Hot and Sculpt & Flow!

Gia is a lovely, beautiful soul, gifted with healing hands, divine intuition, and she is supported by a legacy of strong feminine wisdom. My cousin suggested treatment with Gia when she noticed I was looking and feeling not like my usual self after a difficult life transition. I was really not familiar with lymphatic massage, the goal is to relieve congestion, swelling and fluid buildup in the body…but Gia does waaaay more than that. She has a unique ability to restore balance to my entire body, mind and spirit. My experience with Clayton Francis of integrative fitness has been nothing but efficient, effective and wonderful. He is not like a regular massage therapist where he makes you feel good and then the pain comes back. He gets to the root of the problem and helped me to learn how to stand correctly and hold my body so the painful spots do not come back. He is knowledgeable, professional and will work with you throughout the process. I cannot thank Clayton enough for teaching me how to manage my body and most importantly become a much happier person with the pain gone. I could not sit in an airplane for longer than an hour without throbbing pain on my lower left back last week and like magic I had no pain. I highly recommend working with Clayton if you are looking for a permanent solution instead of a temporary fix.
