What a great experience! My husband and I visited Beem for their Red Light Therapy and Infrared Sauna treatments. The space was very modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The staff member, Abraham, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and put us both at ease. Both treatments were a first for me, and I would most definitely return for both. I found the Red Light Therapy relaxing and the temperature pleasantly warm but not at all hot. Having only ever tried (and not liked) traditional saunas, I was surprised by how much more comfortable the Infrared sauna was for me; I was easily able to enjoy the benefits of the entire session without issue. We played nature/spa music, which made it even more relaxing. We both felt very refreshed and recharged after the sessions. Thank you, Beem!

Frank is a true man's man of barbers. I came into his shop 25 minutes before he closed, and he graciously took care of me without an appointment. Now, as far as the haircut is concerned, this was one of the best cuts I have ever had. If I lived in the area, Frank would be my barber from this day forward. Stephanie is amazing. I've been getting my haircut with her for a few years now, and I'm fortunate to have met her. It's never easy to find a great hairstylist, and when it comes to men's cuts in the East Bay, she's been my favorite. She is very detailed-oriented and specifically focused on every haircut while being an incredibly interesting and great person. I enjoy catching up with Stephanie just as much as I do the haircut! As you walk in her shop, she'll give you a warm welcome, offer you a water or beer as you sit in the chair, and it's go time. Most importantly, Stephanie knows what looks good. Let's be honest, we all want to look like Brad Pitt from Fight Club, but when we ask a hair stylist for that cut, we look terrible. Stephanie will look at you, your face, your structure, your hair, and she will cut your hair in the way that will look the best on you! Trust the process.

I needed a beard trim while visiting family in Walnut Creek, I rang a few different barbers who all said they were too busy (it was 22nd December) I rang Walnut Creek Barber Shop who said they were busy but they would sort me out and just to come down. I walked in and they were extremely busy, but one of the guys had his chair open and sorted me out straight away. Great beard trim very friendly guy and greatt price. I will visit again when I'm next in WC!

I had such a great experience here! My spray tan color came out super even and natural—not orange at all, just a really pretty glow. The staff made me feel comfortable the whole time and explained how to prep and take care of my tan so it would last. Wonderful nail salon with the kindest people! Deena made my entire visit so special. I am disabled severe pain conditions and in a wheelchair. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, thoughtful, and compassionate. She truly blessed me with her beautiful heart and did an amazing job on my toenails! She knows exactly what she’s doing and made the experience very comfortable for me. I can’t have my feet rubbed and need cold water, and she carefully worked with me to ensure I was comfortable in every way. The chairs are very comfortable, and the salon is clean and welcoming.
The nail technician who did my nails Jennie also did a fantastic job and was very kind. From the manager who helped me get safely into an Uber in my wheelchair, to the staff who created such a positive and welcoming atmosphere, every part of my visit was excellent. Also loved the relaxing hand massage by Deena.
These are now my natural nails and I highly recommend Smiley Nails and will definitely be coming back. This salon has earned a permanent spot as my go-to nail salon!

Liz at Timeless Beauty Bar has been doing my waxes for years now! She does an excellent job at waxing my eyebrows and bikini area. I get the Brazilian wax and the wax she uses never irritates my skin. She also has great products like the Fur Oil that really helps prevent ingrowns. During the service she makes me feel relaxed and at ease!
I've been going to Salon Cartier more than 10 years (15??--it's been a while). It's always been the best experience and I look forward to it every time. It goes without saying, Robin and her crew do an amazing job on my hair, but they also make it feel like the most welcoming and friendly environment, almost like hanging out with friends who happen to be extremely serious about making you look good.
I had pretty long hair when I started going there--and I used to think long hair was kind of self-sustaining and didn't require much attention, but I was amazed at how much they were able to do with it to really make me look great--more rock-and-roll and less barbarian hippie (which is where I think I was at when I started with them). Eventually my hair got a bit thin and my hairline was giving me trouble, and I decided to go with a shorter look, that I've stuck with now for years, and it's a great look that downplays any struggles I've had with my quality and quantity of hair. They also do an amazing job on the color--it looks totally natural, though they can make your gray hair look awesome, too, if you decide to go that route.
Anyway, Salon Cartier is highly recommended by me--some men feel weird about going to a premium salon, but you'll feel right at home and it's totally worth it.
I go there more than 2 years and I’m so happy with them and their service and their salon. So everything is so clean and nice organized and peaceful. Highly recommended ♥️
Best hair cut! I go to see Mozgani. She is awesome. I get a pretty short hair cut and she is able to work around my cowlicks and makes it look great. They also have really good quality hair products for sale in-house. Highly recommend.
I have been going to Reagan at this salon for about 2+ years now and I am so happy to have found this place. I get my cut, color, and extensions done here, and since I have thinning hair, Reagan is so thoughtful about making sure not to damage my hair. She also goes above and beyond in finding creative ways for me to get what I am looking for. I have also been looking for someone who can do the perfect ash-brown color for me and I love the mix she has created for me, I always get a ton of compliments on my color. The salon is in a great location, I always feel relaxed being there and I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Cristina was amazing! I've dealt with milia on my nose for as long as I can remember but they've gotten particularly noticeable in recent years. I decided I wanted to get them extracted because they were driving me crazy, and after some searching I discovered Cristina. I booked the Intensive Blemish Treatment with her and she did a wonderful job at extracting all of my milia. She did it with such care that they healed flawlessly. HMS plumbing saved the day! My water heater not only went out Monday, but was leaking all in the garage. I had googled plumbers and was scheduled for next day estimates. I called Harry (referred to by my sister) and he was at my house within the hour. He gave his estimate and was here the next day hours before he originally said. He added copper piping, a relief valve that actually worked, new lines, a tray, pvc piping, etc. He told me step by step of everything he did, how to work the ignition, showed how he positioned the valve handles to be reachable. He had the new heater delivered to the house and took the old one away. I am beyond satisfied with his work, his demeanor, and his honesty.
Carlos has done a couple of jobs for me and I found him very knowledgeable. He fixed 2 toilets and figured out where a leak was coming from under my kitchen sink. He is very prompt and reasonable.

I reside in the east bay and was in the market for a whole home generator to assist with frequently scheduled brown outs / general power outages. After receiving several in-home surveys + estimates from various companies (some majorly trying to up-sell me on their large cap generators) I decided to go with TJ. TJ was punctual, knowledgeable, not overly pushy, and his pricing was reasonable. I explained my needs and he supplied me with several options while explaining the pros and cons to each. Ultimately decided to go with a portable generator which his crew was able to hardwire into the house. It works great! Total project time took 2 days. After install, he gave me a crash course on generator use + maintenance and even provided an easy to understand instruction binder with a crate of additional accessories. Overall, I would highly recommend TJ and his crew!

Just a great experience from start to finish. Friendly discussion with Paul to setup my appt. On time communications. Joshua and Nicholas were the technicians and took pride in their work. I was expected the job to last an hour or two but they stayed several hours to ensure the carpets were done right and even went back over stubborn stains. Could’ve be more thrilled with the result!

I hired Extreme Clean to clean the house in preparation for staging and listing on the market. They did a very good job getting everything clean including the windows. In addition to a thorough general cleaning, we also had them do a deep cleaning of the entryway tile, which was about 35 years old and the tile in the original bathroom from 1957. Both floors came out really well. The entryway had about 1/4" grout, which was restored to its almost original color and the bathroom floor was the cleanest I had ever seen it. It may not be cheap, but they certainly us our money's worth.
We were desperate when our regular house cleaner called in sick the day before Thanksgiving. I went on line and called The Clean Sweep people. Laura answered the phone and assured me that she might have a crew who could clean our house that day. She was very warm as well as concerned and told me she would call me right back. She did exactly that and told me a crew of two people would be at my house at noon. The husband and wife team showed up and did a good job of cleaning my house. The price was 50 percent higher than I had been paying however I had little choice. They were there and did a good job. I would most definitely recommend them.

I would highly recommend Top Knot for your flooring needs. We contacted Mike with just the concept of replacing our vinyl and carpeting. Mike guided us through the various options we had available and I felt like we had a good idea of what to consider given our circumstances and needs. There was zero pressure despite us being a bit motivated. We picked out an engineered hardwood and within a few weeks Mike and Samuel and crew were here installing. These guys did a fantastic job. I am so impressed with the stair transformation from carpet to hardwood as well as the finishing and craftsmanship of everything else.

Robert and his team at Decade Construction are amazing. They helped us with an interior remodel - literally every room in the house including the kitchen and all the bathrooms - and took care of everything WHILE WE WERE STILL IN THE HOUSE (because we are crazy). We will be throwing them a big party sometime this summer to celebrate the work they did.
The project had hiccups. None of them were caused by Decade - hiccups happen whenever you do construction / remodels, particularly on a house originally built in the 1950s. And even though Decade didn't cause the hiccups, they fixed them all and were flexible and on top of every situation.

Paul and his crew with Norcal Rodent Proofing did a thorough job of cleaning out our crawl space ( very dirty with lots of insulation pulled down), placing plastic under the house and repairing holes in under house ducts caused by rodent damage. He likes doing a good job and imparts his expectations to his workers - he notices small openings and does a lot of the patchwork himself. He is willing to also work with reasonable owner suggestions or give feedback based on his experience. Rodent clean up and house proofing is hard and tedious work and of course the rodents can find their way back in after a few years so I will be happy to work with him in the future. He has a specific way of working ( being detailed with every client) so often runs late, but is good about letting you know so recommend being open ended about appt times. Have worked with numerous pest business' for my home in the past and I think Norcal has been the best so far in actually doing all of the work required.

I see some old reviews about a Dr Haynes. He sold the practice to a married couple of dentists with the last name Kim. This office was recommended to me by a friend who understands my dental anxiety. I had to take a Valium to get my teeth cleaned 12 years ago and this was the next visit. I took Ativan to clam down for an exam and teeth cleaning. It was so much better than I had even hoped! They were friendly, understanding and very gentle. I had 4 cavities- no surprise there. I am going back to get them filled next week and am not feeling dread or fear. If you have anxiety about dentists, I strongly recommend that you give them a try. By the way, getting twelve years of plaque off you teeth really improves your smile!
Needed a tooth cavity treated which was causing infection with pain and swelling. After reviewing XRays, viable treatment options including comprehensive pricing, we decided that extraction was best. Dr Yi walked me through expectations from start to finish. In retrospect, Dr. Yi made the decision much easier and we are extremely pleased with the end result. I have finally found the right chiropractic office for treatments after been to several different ones in the past. They really take care of you and target your problem areas, and they spend time with you. They do not just adjust you and send you on your way, but they supplement other treatments they may benefit you such as cupping, scrapping, stretching and soft tissue manipulation. I believe it was their soft tissue manipulation that really help reduce my pain in my neck about over 75%. I had TMJ (they know how treat and I believe it is the reason my jaw back in alignment after several years). I also had knots in my neck they eliminated from the soft tissue manipulation. If I need to ever see them again, I will definitely come back to their office. I highly recommend them!

Dr Huang changed my life. I broke my foot and was dealing with residual pain for over a year. I couldn't walk on it and it would keep me up in excruciating pain at night. The doctor said it was just arthritis from the after effect of the broken bone. I attempted everything to help it with even placing stem cell patches on the foot to try to heal it. I went to see him for my sleep apnea and breathing. He realized my foot was out of place at the first appointment.
Apparently my foot was out of place, he popped it back into place, and I no longer feel any pain. It is honestly a miracle and a blessing having met this man. I truly thought I was never going to walk on this foot again before meeting him

I had a wonderful visit at Empowered Family. They took amazing care of me. Their first visit is super affordable at $125 and I decided to upgrade to get the massage portion and I was so impressed. I came in with severe sciatica hardly walking and left without pain. Dr. K and Dr. Russ are extremely patient, talked me through all of the treatments, and spent a good amount of time making sure I feel better. I really liked how it didn’t feel like a factory. The office is very cute with beautiful posters along the walls, the diffuser made the room smell like citrus, and the calming music made me relax. Anyone with any exercise injury, especially chronic, read this. I’m mid 50’s, lifelong runner and cyclist, hiker etc. Started pickleball and stopped but ended up with repetitive elbow and shoulder issue likely due to throwing the chuckit for my dog; maybe carrying a shoulder bag and lifting heavy items out of my car daily. My regular chiropractor who I went to for over 20 years was amazing but this needed next level. A colleague recommended this practice and I am beyond stunned at the improvement. No more elbow pain, shoulder discomfort is massively reduced and basically gone. The laser therapy works wonders at this practice too. I can’t speak highly enough about the docs here who spend time manipulating (and almost massaging) the joints, working out the sites and recommending exercises to improve function. We have nothing but praise for the staff and the care here. We started going here for physical therapy for a 13 year old dog at Canine Rehabilitation Center. He had arthritis and was also receiving treatment for cancer at SAGE. The physical therapy work they with him made a huge difference. The cancer ended up taking him, but he had very happy, energetic and enjoyable live up until the end.
We now use Muller as our primary vet for two dogs. The vet we were using previously was bought by Thrive and the quality/availability of care became unreliable. The prices are reasonable and the staff are great.
Dr. Bedros is by far the most vet i have met that genuinely care about his profession and the animals he treats and diagnose.
I always know my cats will receive excellent care at Walnut Creek Veterinary Hospital, and we love Dr. Thistlewaite. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and kind.
I have a 115 pound older male Bernese Mountain Dog who can be difficult when being groomed. He is also a little nervous in new situations. I was a little nervous myself about dropping him off, but Vivian and her staff made me & my dog feel comfortable and welcome. When I came back to pick up my dog, he didn't see me at first thus I was able to watch him walking around with the other dogs (it's open). He looked very relaxed and happy. AND best of all, he is clean and well groomed. I am very happy with Posh Pup and we will be going again. I have already recommended them to a friend. Thank you!

Amazing hot yoga studio with friendly staff and teachers. Lots of variety in the classes from a pilates style workout to restore yoga. My favorites are Signature Hot and Sculpt & Flow!
I love TruFusion. I’ve been going there for over two months and have seen a lot of progress. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the classes are motivating. I definitely recommend TruFusion if you’re looking to try Pilates.
Love everything about this yoga studio! The lobby/shop is so inviting and the merch is all gorgeous (books, crystals, pillows, clothes, jewelry, tarot cards, beautiful handmade gift cards). The teachers are excellent and care about form and watch the students to help them improve.

I had wanted to correct my posture through pilates, but was struggling to find an instructor. Then I found Claudia. She had taught me at my own pace and is instrumental in me sticking with pilates. I had a mountain bike accident years ago, and believed chiropractic care was the best course for my physical health despite still suffering from regular pain. Thankfully, my chiropractor referred me to Clayton Francis for an evaluation to see if Clayton could help me. I've been seeing Clayton now for almost three years and feel better than I have in many years. He explained to me why I still had the pain from the bike accident, and gave me exercises to help develop the surrounding muscles. Clayton explained to me why my back hurt (I was wearing bad shoes), he showed me how to take care of my feet so exercise would be more beneficial, and he's taught me many more things that are invaluable. When I first saw Clayton 3 years ago, I was severely stressed (loss of job, death of a parent after years of caregiving) and in a great deal of pain just about everywhere. At that point, I needed to see him weekly or every other week to get stabilized. Now, I only see him once a month. I cannot emphasize how pleased I am with the care I got here. Dr Kim Colon really helped me with the initial diagnosis and figuring out the best care plan for my PPPD. For almost a year I was struggling with Balance Issues and had stopped doing any sorts of physical activity. Carly was an amazing Physical Therapist and was super knowledgeable on my Vestibular issues and helped me regain my balance and confidence. I can easily do so many activities I was depriving myself of and I am so happy I found this place on Veda wesbite.

I have been seeing Dr. Pan weekly for almost 2 months for acupuncture and TCM. Dr. Pan and her assistant are very friendly, experienced, knowledgeable and very good at acupuncture and TCM. She takes her time to learn the patient health issues and designs a custom treatment with acupuncture and Chinse herbs. I am amazed how well she can pinpoint the health problem by reading my pulse. She has an excellent hand with needles and the treatment is almost painless. If you need acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine treatment, you should give Dr. Pan a call. You will be glad you did.
