Love this place. Just got a haircut here today for the first time and I feel like my hair stylist is the only person who understands what a "skin fade" is because he did it perfectly. It was inexpensive too. I'm not gonna bother going to other hair salons to go find out but this is currently the cheapest haircut I can find in East County. That's probably not true but I'm too lazy to find out. And my family comes to Seafood City here to do groceries sometimes anyway so it's convenient. If I wanted to whine about something, it's that I don't know how you're supposed to schedule an appointment here. Their phone number that's online doesn't seem to take calls. It rings for an ungodly long time and when it stops, you get an automated message and you can't leave a voicemail. It's weird. I guess you just walk in and put your name on their wait list at the door. It's not enough of a complaint to dock stars, but it's something I figure is worth pointing out.
I only come here for my rebonds!! They've lasted me for up to a year! I've trusted chris with my hair and eyebrows for 7 years now. I like how they've treated my hair and it's so close to yummy authentic filipino restaurants.
This is my first time at Chris Salon. I happened to schedule the appointment because I just moved here and I usually got my hair done in San Francisco. Van, the colorist, did an excellent job on my hair, giving it a healthier look with the perfect hair color and highlights. I'm really happy with the results and want to thank Van. I will certainly be returning in the future.
