I went today for Dr. Verner to look at a tooth that needed a filling. I was extremely anxious but him and his team were so caring and really put me to ease. They comforted me and helped calm me down. I needed some novicane for the filling and he was so gentle. I could barely feel the needle (I know most dentists tell you that you can’t feel it but I’ve always been able to feel it and it’s painful). This is a 5 star establishment and I definitely recommend it to everyone.
Good doctor but Great staff. Doctor very personable. Speaks very commonly and we did not feel pressured toward surgery. Great bedside manner from provider but even better staff. From the moment you enter the staff is friendly efficient and makes you feel comfortable. Highly recommend.
AHN cancer center is amazing. My oncologist, Dr. Mao, saved my life. The nurse navigator, Kelly, is amazing. My step mom is currently being treated for stage 4 lung cancer with Dr. Lopez-Chaves. He is great, too.

I have been bringing my son to Crossroads Speech for about 2 years now and I highly recommend them. He has been working with Danielle and she has brought my son a long way. In the beginning, he was extremely frustrated because it was very hard for people to understand him. Now, he is very easy to understand and has already mastered some of the harder sounds for his age level.

We were a last minute appointment today. I was horribly late for the appointment because we hit awful traffic but they still took me (although I would not make that a habit). The best place to get a spray tan in Pittsburgh. You describe the kind of tan you want (I told her more like an olive tone) and she made the perfect color. It lasted a long time, wasn’t patchy, and looked natural and even.

This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Brookline. You can tan, get a mani/pedi, lashes, facials and get your hair done all in one spot. It is woman owned and filled with the most beautiful women to perform many services to keep you looking your best. Go see Nicole and Diedra. You will never leave disappointed. I sent my friend there yesterday to rescue her hair from another salon. My friends and I all went for moral support and we had the best time ever. It was like living out the movie Beauty Shop. Grab your girls and make it a day. We laughed so much and Diedra saved my girl’s hair.
Anytime tan is a very clean tanning salon. There are a lot of beds so I never have to wait or make an appt. I think it's the largest salon in the area. There are 3 levels of beds. The beds are older but good. If you sign up for a membership, your credit card will be charged monthly until you cancel your membership. Just make sure you understand what you're buying. It's pretty straightforward. The salon is in a great location. Prices are comparable to or better than other local salons. I would recommend this salon to others. Rachel, who works there is very nice. The owner has also been very nice to me any time I've interacted with her.

I’ve been coming to NailChic since shortly after Dana opened and have always loved my experience here! Today I saw Tyra for the first time and if you know me, you know I was nervous. She. Did. AMAZING!! ? The salon I went to before I came today did not do a good job on my nails, and they broke. Tyra listened intently, looked at my nails and did a cut down and reshaping so that they looked good! She interpreted the design I wanted absolutely flawlessly! She also did my pedicure to perfection! I’ve since booked 2 follow up appointments for both a gel manicure and pedicure. Dana does an AMAZING job coaching her techs while allowing them to flourish in their strengths. I travel across town to come here and I will continue for as long as Dana is open. 5 stars!
Deb has been my nail tech for almost 10 years now, and I have literally seen zero other techs in this time period because I already have the best possible one. Deb is always professional, upfront about pricing, and personable. And of course, her nail art is to die for! She’s incredible at both executing client ideas and coming up with gorgeous designs of her own. In ten years, there has never, ever been a week where someone didn’t compliment my nails. I don’t know how to summarize what an amazing stylist Andrea is! She not only gave me a much needed and overdue transformation with cut and color, but also a renewed sense of confidence and general care of myself. I had all but given up on ever loving my hair again before I came to her and after spending an IMMENSE amount of time listening to my concerns, dislikes, previous experience, etc. The outcome was even better than I expected! I don’t have an easy hair type to deal with. She has such vast knowledge of not only dealing with the type of hair you have, but age related changes along with, most importantly, how certain health issues can affect your hair type and what may work best for you. This lady KNOWS HER STUFF!! I really wasn’t sure what I needed but her vision and recommendation of color for my hair exceeded my expectations! Some of my friends, people at my CrossFit gym and coworkers didn’t recognize me at first! Most important is that my husband loved it and loves how much happier I am. If you are stuck or unhappy where you are currently at, you need to go see her. The way she welcomes you and works with you can’t be overstated, all combined with how beautiful she is inside and out!

This was my first Brazilian wax experience. Serena explained everything and took her time, making sure I always knew what to expect. It was my first wax and she made me feel so comfortable. She warned me when it would hurt and even reassured me that I was doing well and gave pointers for how to do aftercare stuff. If I could give her a thousand stars I would. 100000000000% recommend and absolutely ZERO complaints. I see Trisha as my skin coach. At my consultation visit with her, she and I discussed my goals: diminishing the dark spots on my left cheek. These spots had been a nuisance of mine for the past 15 years. I had had them worked on before by another establishment, and although their quick procedure resulted in clear skin each time, the spots would reappear within a few months. What was more frustrating than that, though, was that they never guided me on what steps to take with my skin, perhaps it was because we did not have a relationship. I walked in, asked for the procedure that I had heard about, received it, and walked out. That was easy, but I needed more. What I needed — knew that I needed — was a knowledgeable professional to guide me — to coach me — on what to do to achieve and maintain my goal. And this is why I see Trisha as my coach. She set me up on a skincare regimen that is quick and easy and that impacted the health of my skin almost instantaneously. I was stunned that I myself could see the result so soon! Eventually we moved onto peels that really gave me the result I was after. To reach the result that I have now was a process — which Trisha often reminded me of — but it was a process that she was on with me. I would text her with questions about not remembering which product to use or about why there was a red blotch on my chin, and she would answer, just as she had said she would. My husband and friends are amazed with how radiant my face looks and the dark spots that are dimensioned by about 90%. I appreciate Trisha so much — she provides me the tools I need, instructs me on what to do, cheers me on, and celebrates with me. She and I make a good team.

My experience with Patti was amazing. She took time to explain what she was doing and why she was doing it. The difference in my appearance was really remarkable. I would strongly recommend using her to go over your make up and come up with an effective application of skin care and makeup that will make you look your best. Laura has done two tattoos for me this year and I love them both so much! She was very honest about what to expect with the pain for both locations, which I appreciated even though I know all tattoos hurt to some extent. She also helped me decide on the location of the second tattoo and moved the stencil as many times as needed until we agreed on a good placement. She’s easy to talk to but also doesn’t seem to have an issue with a quieter session. Everyone that works there is friendly and the shop is super clean. I will be back to get more work done by Laura and always recommend her to others!

Great shop! Super glad I met Jason. I had started a sleeve at another shop and unfortunately, the artist passed away. It was hard to find an artist that would help me finish what was already started. Jason helped me flesh out the rest of the sleeve and we're taking it in a whole new and exciting direction! Can't wait until we start adding color to the black work he's done so far.
The shop is clean and the vibe is very calm and zen-like. When you spend hours, and hours, and hours getting tattooed, it really helps having an environment where you feel comfortable and it's easy to have a conversation.

My mother had a gas line that was leaking outside. They came Friday evening to verify & shut off the line. They supplied electric heaters for the apartment that was affected. They were back on Monday AM to complete the work. Did an excellent job replacing the bad line outside and also installed a shut-off valve inside. Very pleased with the work and the workmanship that was done. Will use in the future!

I used this company for the installation of 2 chandeliers over an island. I’m pretty handy myself and have installed plenty of fans and lights- - but this job was def out of my scope due to weight of the fixtures, the value and also the intended location to hang. So, I called the pros.
Communication was smooth. The guys came on time. There was some initial concern over the box and fixture compatibility. I was ? willing to have the guys install heavy duty boxes if need be but they reached out to the office and did some research to see if that was needed or the current box would be satisfactory.
It was determined that the current boxes were sufficient. Lights went up and they look fantastic.

We hired Bill to take care of some electrical issues that we were having in our home. Bill came out to our house and explained what the problems were and exactly what was causing them. He inspected our electrical system and made helpful upgrade suggestions without being pushy and making us feel like something horrible would happen if we did not follow his suggestions. I would recommend Bill because he did an excellent job, was neat and was courteous.
We asked 2 lights (kitchen) replace and 1 bathroom exhaust fan replace. Severino and one more person finished the job quickly and result is good.

Highly recommend. I got a replacement fob for my car. They went to my house and programmed it quickly. Then, a few months later, I had an issue with the fob that was due to user error, but they were still able to troubleshoot over the phone and offered to pay a courtesy visit (which was not necessary in the end).

Over the 16 years I’ve live in the neighborhood I’ve needed keys and a few locks. They bat a thousand on every key I’ve needed. Never had to return to get the key reground.

I don’t often write reviews, but want to give a shout out to Michael H who has cleaned my carpet the last two times. I always liked Roth for routine cleaning over the years, but recently challenging since my little dog had some urine accidents. The previous person gave it a valiant try, but Michael got the stains and odor out last year and I was so excited to he was still there this year.
The other amazing thing is that last year Michael even got out some dried paint from a living room paint job. The carpet is so old that I just let it go figuring I would replace it when I move. He made it look almost new, and certainly not as embarrassing as it was. Plus, he’s a good guy with a good attitude.
And friendly, helpful customer service and great specials.

We recently had our living room furniture, rug and drapery cleaned by COIT. We dealt with 3 individuals thru this process (Steve, Archie and Eric). These individuals were extremely professional and highly competent in the work performed. Archie and Eric explained the various cleaning processes and were very knowledgeable as to which would be the most beneficial based on the fabrics being cleaned. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the results. Although the furniture had not been professionally cleaned in many years, they were able to bring it back to life in a way we thought impossible. Steve was exceptionally knowledgeable relative to our living room sheer catastrophe. Unfortunately, our aged sheers could not be repaired. This was my first time using a cleaning service and I would definitely hire them again or use them for regular cleaning of my home. They finished quickly, did a very thorough job, and Edgar was kind enough to offer to make an extra stop back in case anything wasn’t satisfactory when I got home from work (there was no need, the place looked great!). OCD LLC did an incredible job cleaning my 1 bedroom apartment after 3 years of, shall we say, lackluster efforts on my part. My cleaners (crew of 2) prioritized the bathroom and kitchen as requested and were able to cover the entire apartment in the time quoted. As I write this review a day later, I feel better existing in my pristinely clean space. I'll be getting periodic cleanings from them in the future!

Rick is AMAZING!!! He knocked out our giant (uphill) backyard in two days with his crew. Our backyard went from being a black-tarped wasteland with a handful of struggling bushes to a beautiful, no hassle, plant paradise. He thoughtfully selected deer resistant plants as well as minimal to no maintenance plants and placed them so they look good now as well as as they mature and also used our existing bushes, moving them as necessary.
He also took care of our small front yard and side yards, and laid fresh mulch down on all of it.
We have been trying to get this project completed for the past three years, each year we would have multiple landscapers come out to give us quotes, only to never hear from them again. To add to everything, this was actually affordable, especially in comparison to other quotes.
His crew was professional and respectful, not only of our property but also our neighbors'.
Truly, I cannot think of anything that is less than positive to say.
We had a new aluminum railing put on my front landing and steps to replace an old rusted out one. Roycroft completed the job quickly and within the timeframe I was originally told. It came out perfect. Railing is straight and uniform on both sides and down the stairs. Would highly recommend.

I have been looking forward to putting a second bathroom in our house for YEARS. My main goal was, if we were going to do it, I did not want it to look like a half-done scary basement bathroom and Ryan absolutely made that possible. My husband is very tall so I was asking for the ceiling to be as high as possible. Ryan suggested just painting it black and I am so in love with how it came out. ? Rather than fighting the space I wanted to lean into industrial style with the brick wall and exposed pipes and Ryan was able to make it look EXACTLY how I hoped it would in my head. Valerie has a small team, but they are not only highly efficient, they also do their best to optimize your budget. Seth and Greg make marvels in remodeling; they know how to fix the imperfections and how to adapt new items to old houses (here in Pittsburgh, these old houses are the rule). Their network of highly skilled professionals is a great addition, and they are honest enough to tell you when they have no expertise in some topics and avoid improvisation that can be costly for you. I'm thrilled with the remodeling they made in our old and tiny bathrooms (plus other things).

Everything seemed to go great. There was a yellow jacket nest under the siding of the dormer on my daughter's bedroom. Amber came out quick, found the nest and hit it from inside and outside. She was very nice to my daughter who stuck by her and was very curious about the process which I thought was awesome, answering all of her questions. Grateful for that part, as my daughter likes to be a part of any work done at the house. Amber was also very clean and tidy up in her room which was also great. A super duper experience all around, and I haven't seen much action at the siding since she left so hopefully they're all nuked and that's that.

I have had this service for several years & have been pleased . There has been a few times they had to come back without any hesitation they obliged promptly and reapplied the service . I do have one problem with the service the techs are always very nice and accommodating but they eventually quit! I have had exceptional service from them but they all say the same thing, management or owners are not nice to the employees and as a result the quit! This is upsetting! They always did a good job so why do they all quit!!!! I think the owners should re examine how their employees are treated & correct the problem.
Our experience with Rolling Hills Landscapes was great, and the product delivered by the company has been topnotch. It's been over a year since we had our retaining walls replaced, and we couldn't be happier with them. I can't recommend Rolling Hills Landscapes enough.
We had two retaining walls lining our driveway replaced during the summer of 2023. We collected quotes from six companies for the project. As you can see, the "before" picture shows one of our crumbling natural stone walls. They needed a LOT of work. Rolling Hills Landscapes offered what we felt was the best product for the price. The service we received during the process was wonderful.
Amanda Linder communicated with us throughout the entire process, and her customer service was just incredible. She explained everything from cost breakdown and permit requirements to design and add-on options. We never felt sales pressure from her, and she was patient with our questions. She maintained consistent contact with us from start to finish.
The crew who worked on the project was also respectful of our property, our neighbor's property, and our privacy. They took care not to damage the concrete driveway. I think they left things in better shape than they found it. Rolling Hills even coordinated with us on where to put grass seed so we could do our own landscaping.
Finally, the product we received it great. We have two beautiful stone walls at a reasonable price, including drainage and interlocking blocks to ensure they're sturdy and last. Over the last year and a half, they've stayed secure and still look beautiful. We can't recommend Rolling Hills Landscapes enough for your retaining wall needs!
We are so lucky to have found Gardenalia and Pat! She offered a landscape-based solution for our 2-level yard that dramatically cut down on renovation costs, and it happens to be much more beautiful. The plants are interesting and varied. From the initial consultation, in the design process, and pre- and post-installation, she always listened and provided prompt answers to our questions and requests. The result is so beautiful and it’s been fun to watch our garden start to bloom! Highly recommend!!

Tom, from Dean Thomas Tree Services, came over quickly to assess and the estimate came in just as quickly and reasonably. He was clear in discussing the scope of work with us. Due to an opening in there schedule, they were able to come the next day. His team arrived on time, were courteous and professional. They did an amazing job. Anthony and his crew did a great job of pruning, trimming, and cutting a huge, old, half dead Silver Maple in our back yard. We had perfect weather for December, so don’t think it’s too late to complete your project this year, or winter.If it’s not windy, and the conditions are safe, see if he can fit you in. That’s what he did for me after a quick call last week for an estimate. I called him Wednesday morning, he called me back Wednesday evening, then Friday he gave me an estimate, and at that time I told him I could also use some cord wood to burn in outdoor fire pit. Sunday he delivered wood, then Monday morning he arrived with his crew to tackle the old, big Maple. The enormous tree was partially hanging over the street, and a neighbors yard, next to a fence in the back of my yard. It was interesting to watch them handle a difficult task with efficiency and precision, and at the same time be careful and respectful of our yard, the street and the neighbors. I called Pittsburgh Lumberjack Tree Service about a huge branch that was severely cracked and about to fall and possibly do damage to my car. Setting up a quote was very easy and communication was great. The price for removing the branch was incredibly affordable and fair. These guys did great work. They ran into some issues with where they originally planned to have the truck and quickly figured out a solution and got the job done! They also cleaned up after and left the place in good shape. There was a little bit of trouble pinning down the exact date after requesting to get the tree down, so if you don't hear back, make sure you give them a call again. They have a packed schedule in our area, I'm sure.
They were very quick to respond and were incredibly accommodating with getting me on the schedule. Even though my job was on the smaller side, they took the time needed to do it right and gave me a very detailed explanation as to what was going on, different ways too remedy the problem, and other options available. I would definitely use their services again, and would highly recommend to others!

The folks at Pittsburgh Dental Spa have made my experience so great! I had a filling and Scaling/Root Planing today with absolutely no pain or anxiety. I’ve been scared about this procedure for like two years bc of what other dentists were offering. It was a totally different experience today. They offer nitrous, topical numbing and injections for each procedure. The staff was so nice and explained everything. These have comfy heated and massaging chairs with TV screens above them for during your treatment. Absolutely will not be going anywhere else from now on!!

The FC Family Dental office is a family business with good facilities and a helpful staff. I first came here when the public health crisis re Covid-19 ended. I realized I hadn't been examined for a few years. They were patient, professional, and understanding about the anxiety of not seeing a dentist for 3 years. I deducted one star because they do not have automatic doors which presents a problem for seniors and handicapped persons.

All of me am my siblings have gone here and now I have the privilege of having my soon to be daughter I’m 37 weeks pregnant with go here. I’m sad she doesn’t get to meet Dr.Daily but the other staff here are wonderful.
I wanted to wait until I'd seen all the providers before leaving a review, so it took me some time but I can finally say: this is an amazing pediatric practice, and every single provider and staff member has been AMAZING. So understanding, not dismissive at all, just overall 10/10. We're so lucky to have found them!

Frank is a great Docter He really does alot to help especially with after work injuries and Fibromyalgia!! I been seeing him since around 2015. If you are sore or hurting or feel off go see him. He also helps with Migraines, If im getting a debilitating migraine he can work his magic and it goes away within half hour of a visit! He will create a plan customized for your body! His staff is excellent and its such a friendly personable atmosphere! Dont hurt go see him!! Best Docter around 100%!

She finally listened to me about how much he helped me 6 years ago and is being treated by Dr. LeGault. Her improvement has been dramatic. He’s simply the best.
Old post: Dr. LeGault is absolutely top-notch. I started seeing Dr. LeGault about three years ago with chronic back pain that made sitting painful. I had never before been to a chiropractor, and was a bit hesitant. He quickly put me at ease and in no time the pain was gone. I now see him periodically and feel terrific.

I have had a great experience with Finn Chiropratic, i haven't seen a chiropractor in years because I did not like my neck cracked, Dr. Walker was very understanding and used an adjuster tool instead of manually putting my neck back in place. I forgot what it was like to live life without daily pain. I cannot say enough good things about this office, we felt welcomed from the first time we came in, Maggie and Jen always great my daughter and I as soon as we walk in the door

The process was “straightforward” and thorough. This was my first experience with Horvath Dermatology and I was impressed by the professionalism and warm reception.
The recommendation came from my PCP Dr. Emily Galli; I was seeking an evaluation of three sebaceous cysts which although non-threatening were unpleasant and visually disturbing.
It has been one day following the surgery and there’s less discomfort than a root canal…of which I’ve had many.
I have no concerns as to post operative concerns; will follow directions as prescribed.
The total process was extremely complete and satisfying.

I highly recommend this practice for skin cancer issues.

I usually don't write the review on the website, but my experience with dr. Nicole and the staffs is beyond my satisfaction. My fur baby, Bohmi is an extremely anxious and agitated dog from rescue and hardly any technicians can even draw her blood for the test due to her anxiety. But they successfully finished all the test and they really care for our baby girl and I deeply appreciate their warm, kind also excellent professionalism today. thank you.
This place was amazing. After trying to get into a few other popular emergency places on a Sunday, this Vet365 location told me to come right in. From initial contact with the woman at the desk to the techs and the vet, everyone was absolutely amazing. If I lived closer they would be my permanent vet. Thank you to everyone there!
Our dog has been a patient here for close to a year, & we are extremely satisfied with the care he receives and how friendly everyone is. Things are explained so we understand & they really take time w/ our dog (he has several rather serious conditions affecting his health) i would highly recommend this place for your pet's health services.

My two senior dogs have had major health problems since moving to Pittsburgh last year. All the staff are caring, kind, and trustworthy. I cannot give enough positive praise to Dr. Natalie. She treated my dogs like her own; her love of animals really shines through. She stays up to date on the science/research in the field, and is very thorough explaining possible causes and treatment avenues. VERY CARING PLACE. TOOK OUR MARLEY IN TODAY AND SHE WAS SEEN BY DR AARON. HE WALKED IN AND UNDERSTOOD THE NATURE OF OUR DOG WITHIN SECONDS AND DROPPED DOWN ON THE FLOOR AND SAT TO RELEAVE ANY STRESS THAT SHE HAD. SHES A 90 LB GERMAN SHEPHERD WHO HAS A LOT OF ANXIETY WITH OTHER MALES. DR AARON DID GREAT AT ASSESSMENT SHE HAS A YEAST INFECTION ON HER BELLY AND BACK WE WERE TREATED WITH THE UP MOST RESPECT AND ALL OF THE STAFF DID GREAT SHE EVEN GOT HER NAILS DONE. Dr. Joe was absolutely amazing with my Shichon. He owns one as well. That really made me feel reassured Teddy was in the right hands. He answered all of my questions with understanding and compassion. Teddy has been suffering severe constipation issues. He was great giving him his shots and microchip. He treated my puppy with amazing respect and care. I now understand why my Parents take there dogs and speak so highly of Penn Animal hospital. I am now a client for life. Thank you Dr. Joe and everyone else you made coming to the vet a much better experience than expected.
My family and I love Dr. Cox. She is a very sweet woman! Very polite, knowledgeable, and prices are affordable as well. She has seen a multitude of my animals - cats, dogs, ferrets, birds, guinea pigs, etc. She is an amazing domestic and exotics vet. Her technicians are also extremely helpful and friendly. They typically always have appointments week of or they have walk in hours from 4 to 7pm for a small increased price. She is my go-to vet, I will always recommend her and this hospital!!
The team at Point Breeze Vet Clinic are incredible. I take both my dogs to them, and they always show the upmost care and compassion towards them. Anytime I’ve had an emergency or question, they are responsive and accommodating to get us in as soon as possible. I’ve been to other vets when I lived in other cities, and I am glad to be home with Point Breeze Vet!

Five stars is not enough for Kait's Grooming Gallery. This place is top notch. Scheduling is easy, drop off and pick up is seamless and my dog, although nervous loves the care he gets. Kait is wonderfully nice and is so accommodating and seems to really love what she does! Lucky to have Kait's in our community!
I’m from out of town. I have a white Persian cat and I needed to find someone to groom him. My sister had recommended Joyce whom she had met. I called Joyce. She was so so nice on the phone. I was really looking forward to see her. Her history grooming. Animals was impressive.. so I dropped my cat off and I came back to pick them up within an hour. He looked beautiful, so so handsome she did such an amazing job. She didn’t need to use a cone. She believes that her in the cat bond and she hold her cat close to her as she groom them she gains there total total trust. My cat came home. He’s strutting around the house. He loves loves loves his haircut. I can’t say enough about Joyce, but thank you so much for taking care of him. He means a lot to me if anyone needs a cat groomer that would take care of your cat like it’s theirs Joyce is the one. I’m from New York and there’s only one other groomer that my cat trusted as much as Joyce. I highly highly recommend her thank you, Joyce.

Great shop, have used Animal Elegance for several years now and have always been happy with their service. Good communication about drop off times and when the dogs are done. Our dogs do really well with them and have gotten to know them and always come back looking sharp. It’s a smaller operation so they tend to book out a little ways but they are happy to book out at regular intervals for grooming. Prices are very fair by comparison to commercial grooming shops at Petsmart etc.
Alicia is the absolute best. We have three dogs and one of them has a phobia of the groomer. Alicia has all the patience in the world with him and gives him and our other two absolutely perfect cuts every single time! If you’re looking for a dog groomer I recommend Pup Pup & Away wholeheartedly. Thanks for everything Alicia.

Brooke is the best. Her salon is not only adorable but it’s also a super calm environment for dogs for grooming. I have an Irish Red and White Setter that is both shown for conformation and works in the field and has specific requirements for grooming and Brooke was open to FaceTiming my breeder to make sure she was doing everything right before a show weekend.
We just moved into the area a few months ago and were looking for a new groomer for our three poodles. Karen was booked out when I first reached out (a great sign), but we were added to a cancellation list. My dogs had their first appointment this week and everything was great.
The pups look great. Karen was communicative throughout the whole process and sent updates and photos as well. My dogs did great with her which tells me she made them feel safe and comfortable! Karen was also understanding when I was running a few minutes behind on a hectic day.
I’m glad the salon is a short walk from my place. I highly recommend Doggone Delightful.
They do a wonderful job with my poodle, shepherd, retriever mutt Harry! Always super helpful and take their time with my nervous/shy guy. I've never owned a dog. That required grooming and I'm SO glad I found Shaggy Maggie's to help me keep up with all his fluff!
Pet Stop is #1 in my book for grooming! My chihuahua, Chloe, has been coming here for 2 years and her tail wags as we pull into lot. She always comes back PERFECT & nail trimming stop ins are GREAT. YAY for PAIGE she is awesome ❤

The Shala of Pittsburgh is a wonderful, welcoming center and source of workshops and classes that have enhanced my well-being for the 3+ years I’ve been going there. Although I’ve had and can compliment various teachers there, a particular shout-out to Leslie Wright, whose classes continue to improve my practice, well-being, and knowledge of anatomy. I cannot emphasize enough how much Iyengar Yoga Institute of Pittsburgh and its fabulous teachers have improved my relationship with my body. For years, I have bounced between different yoga studios and gyms and been frustrated with injuries. Within days of joining classes at IYP, Racquel casually asked if I knew that I was hypermobile - something no doctor or coach or previous fitness teacher had ever spotted. As I have continued to attend classes for the last two years, the wisdom, knowledge, patience, level of specificity and clarity in each teacher’s instructions has finally made me able to build strength and feel healthy in my body. I am so grateful to this studio, and highly recommend it to anyone!

I’ve gone to the World of Wellness for many years, starting from when it was called the “Pain Release Clinic” which was started by Dr. James Winer in the 1990’s!
After Dr. Winer’s sad passing, it is still the best place to go in Pittsburgh for Holistic health! They have a wide range of supplements to help with any health condition! The supplement company is called “Nutritional Frontiers” and was developed and started by Dr. Winer and Jamie Dorley! They also have chiropractors and therapists to help you with a wide range of medical conditions! I’ve had good treatments with all of them! I just saw Dr.Ross, I treated with Dr. Orbach for years as well as Dr. Winer in the past and his therapists!
They have a sale on now at World of Wellness until mid-September! I would recommend them to everyone who values and tries to improve their health! They go beyond just pushing pharmaceutical drugs on patients, like many doctors.do. They look for the root cause of illness and disease! From there they try to help you to get better with therapies and natural supolements! Dr. Winer’s radio program was called-“ Get Well Naturally”, and that’s what they help patients to do!

Every class is fabulous. No matter where you are on your yoga journey, you want to come back and try to improve. Each instructor brings their unique and supportive experienced teaching style to every class.
Experienced instructors teach yoga flow with enough variations to keep it interesting and challenging. There is more variety in body types and ages than at a lot of studios. Some teachers lean too heavily into the aerobics aspect and some play music at a distracting volume. Overall, one of the best options for hot yoga in Pittsburgh.
This yoga studio is so special! I no longer live in Pittsburgh but I miss PPY. Annie’s classes are amazing. A sweaty flow that leaves you relaxed and feeling like a whole new person after. Annie was the first yoga teacher who helped me find modifications to accommodate my carpel tunnel. Annie is also so friendly which really makes this studio feel like home! And I love the chilled lavender towels at the end of class. The music in Annie’s class is perfect playlist. Speaking from someone who is very particular about the music. Thank you Annie and PPY team!
Love this studio along with all their other ones!! The Friday $5 community classes are what got me into yoga, I recommend them to friend groups or anyone trying to start yoga.
Shoutout to Danielle Livingston who instructs those community classes, she taught me the basics of vinyasa flow and always helped me work on my poses. she’s truly the reason I fell in love with the practice!

I’ve been going to Yoga Flow for several years now and all of the classes are fantastic. The teaching styles vary from instructor to instructor so I would encourage you to try different classes to find one that best suits you! I’ve been taking the 9am class with Connie on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Murrysville for the past few months and it is awesome. I love how she challenges you and uplifts you with her positive attitude and encouragement.

I am so thrilled to have found Vivi Pilates. The teachers are incredible, the atmosphere is so welcoming, and I am already feeling more comfortable in my own skin than I have in a long time. I know that the levels of health and fitness I have been searching for will be achievable with the amazing training at Vivi Pilates - I their kindness and support will keep me coming back even on hard days!

I have been training with Marcie at Touchstone for nearly 8 months now. She has helped me to tune into my body’s form and function during the exercises, which has translated into my daily life. I feel stronger and find myself able to do things I haven’t done in years, without pain.
Marcie, under the guidance of Lisa, is thorough and clear in her instructions/ cues, compassionate, and takes the Pilates method seriously, but has fun with her students at the same time.
I HIGHLY recommend Touchstone to anyone wanting to train as Joe Pilates intended.
Lynsey is THE best Pilates instructor and personal trainer in Pittsburgh! I knew nothing about Pilates before starting with her and she taught me proper form, technique and breathing. She’s helped me achieve my fitness goals and improve my overall health in the process. I am so much stronger and healthier because of Lynsey. I cannot recommend her enough. Whether it’s for class or one-on-one training, you’ll find no one better than Lynsey.

My husband loves a true deep tissue massage but never truly believes the masseuse goes deep enough. When he came back from getting a deep tissue massage from CiCi, he was speechless haha. He works long and hard hours so his body is pretty abused and this massage was just what he needed to move and flush everything out. He loved it. Cici never got tired from the 90 minutes and would apply deep pressure according to what my husband could tolerate. Will be back! He said it was worth every penny!
Stumbled across Heal PGH while navigating a medical issue, in which I wanted to incorporate acupuncture, and am so glad I found this place! BJ specifically has been an amazing practitioner. She's extremely knowledgeable, empathetic and really great at her job. I cannot recommend BJ and the Heal PGH Team enough.
Judd is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at what he does. Not only is he excellent in his technique, but he also has a deep understanding of body mechanics, which has been invaluable for both injury recovery and overall mobility. I especially appreciate his willingness to fit me into his schedule when needed. His professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for his clients set him apart. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for effective, therapeutic massage work. 10/10!

I cannot recommend Juliana and Monongahela Massage enough. I’ve been twice now and each time I leave feeling infinitely better than when I walked in. Juliana a true professional, gentle, and welcoming. The experience of getting a professional massage is new to me, and now I think it’s something everyone should have regularly….as long as their therapist is as good at what they do as Juliana. I am a former athlete who hasn’t necessarily taken the best care of my body as I should’ve. So I have a lot of old injuries and sensitive areas around my body after years of abuse. She takes the time to make sure she accommodates for all aspects of my physiology good and bad before and after the session. Every time I leave I feel like I’m floating and can actually let my shoulders and all the tension I hold drop. If I could give a million stars I would. Book your appointment now you will not regret it!
What can I say - Iva is simply the best provider I've ever worked with. I am a fairly active 40-something that also spends a lot of time working from home - which means that whether I hurt my back playing with my kid; or twisted my ankle playing sports - I always leave Iva's sessions relaxed, realigned and rejuvenated. Her ability to apply different types of pressure was one of the things that I noticed first - it can take some getting used to, but I feel my body responds incredibly well to the barefoot technique. Her amazing attitude and personality are just bonuses.

This is a good place to go for a lymphatic massage . Chioma had a lot of experience in this field. She is also very pleasant! The place was clean and quiet and very relaxing.
Bailey is fantastic at blending targeted work for pain relief with elements of relaxation! Her office is very cozy and she will make you feel at home. I am a fellow massage therapist who feels very comfortable telling clients about Bailey when our schedules don’t align.

Mike, Heather and Mikey are the best. While everyone truly has their own physical recovery to work with - I kept throwing them curve balls with one thing after another - what started out as an arthroscopic rehab of my knee (meniscus) turned into head-scratching regressions after visible wins - nonetheless - I got stronger, developed a deep respect for their knowledge, skill, professionalism and - not letting me take things too seriously - great times at PTN/Strip - bonus - I am now well versed in bio- and physio mechanics - LOL - VMO, Gastroc, Soleus, 1-MTP, hahaha - they all work together behind the scenes - thank you! I'll be sure to drop in, now and again - maybe on a Thursday at 4:30p - hahaha -

Nancy Foley is the absolute best! I have seen her for multiple different problems over the last 5 years. She always performs a thorough assessment, has a great fund of knowledge with wide-ranging expertise, and provides a detailed treatment plan. I have recommended her to everyone I know. As I age, I have come to realize that a good physical therapist is the most important person in your life!
Nicole at Square One helped me recover wonderfully from a nagging injury to my lower back / hip. I didn't know what was wrong, but she was able to diagnose, treat, and help me get pain-free in addition to recovering strength to the muscles. Professional and personable, it was a highly enjoyable experience with consistent scheduling and a comfortable atmosphere. Square one is well equipped to help you get back to where you should be! I had a horrible migraine that mirrored a stroke. I developed a tingling aura that made the side of my body go numb. This tingling from head to toe would not go away for almost 6 months. I was afraid to drive or do much of anything. I saw a neurologist and we tried two different medications to break the aura. Neither of them worked. I asked him about acupuncture and he said to try it. After 6 months of feeling horrible and a diminished quality of life I came to TCL. She was so nice and encouraging. I started out 2x a week and after the second treatment noticed the tingling had diminished a bit. I was so encouraged. After three months of treatments, we are now down to every other week, and going to once a month soon, the tingling is 99.9% gone. I cannot tell you how grateful I am. She stuck with me and encouraged me along the way. She is so knowledgeable and kind. I have my life back. I started to develop anxiety due to this tingling also and it is gone. For the first time in 6 months I feel like myself again. No could help me until I came to TCL. If you suffer from migraines please give this a try. I could not be more pleased!!

Going to Andrew has been life-changing. I've only had 6 sessions, but the improvement in my health--physically, psychologically, and emotionally--is drastic. I came to him really struggling, with chronic Lyme, EBV, Candida, anxiety/OCD/panic, migraines, POTS, fatigue, PMS...even heartbreak. My health was unstable, and my system was extremely weak, stressed, and sensitive. My first appointment, I arrived anxious and discouraged, but his presence was immediately comforting. He affirmed my struggles in a kind, caring way, and knew all the answers to everything I was going through. He felt my pulse and, like magic, could discern the state of my health (he asked if I had had a recent shock to my system...I had, and somehow he even could tell where I was feeling muscular tension). Five appointments later, my PMS has largely disappeared, my anxiety/OCD/panic is decreased, my migraines are rare, I have more energy than I have had in years, my heartbreak is mending (an unexpected bonus), and my infections, which have plagued me for years, are resolving. Granted, I have already been through years of treatment for my Lyme and other infections, but the healing process was long, drawn-out, and extremely taxing. Since starting acupuncture, however, my healing has progressed in leaps and bounds, and my system has recalibrated and strengthened as a whole. I even have the numbers to prove it--I recently got bloodwork done, and all my panels came back great, including my EBV count, which is markedly decreased. So, if you are considering getting acupuncture here, do it. It will likely be one of the best decisions you ever make.
Karen is amazing! I was visiting from out of town but was having some pretty bad back pain. I reached out to her and she was able to squeeze me in with super short notice! She is super friendly and I felt great after one session with her. If I lived in the Pittsburgh area, I'd be a repeat customer!

Really great experience with Easy Method Driving School. Mr. John is a amazing instructor, very clear in his instructions. He focused on exactly what I needed for the road test and helped me feel confident behind the wheel.
It’s not an easy job instructors have to react quickly if a student makes a mistake and ensure safety at all times since you’re learning on real roads, not a simulator. Mr. John handled this extremely well and made the whole experience feel safe and comfortable.
