“Highly recommend Quick Neighborhood Plumbing & Water Heaters. We had a main sewer line clog after using so-called flushable wipes, and it backed up about an inch of water into our laundry room. Another plumber came out for an emergency visit and hydro jetted the blockage, but then tried to sell us a big pipe replacement job, saying our newer pvc line was tied into old cracked clay pipe and quoting a very high price. After getting several estimates, samuel came out right on time, ran a sewer camera inspection, had us run water through the house, and clearly showed us what was really going on. He explained that the old clay pipe was from an older gutter drainage setup and was not even connected to the home’s plumbing system. That line was basically unrelated to the sewer problem and not the cause of the backup at all. He spent close to an hour checking everything carefully, walking us through the camera view, answering questions, and making sure we understood the condition of the underground drain line. It was a huge relief to hear that no major excavation or replacement was needed. In Pittsburgh, having an honest plumber who takes time to diagnose the issue correctly instead of pushing unnecessary work means a lot. Besides saving us a lot of money, he was professional, friendly, and very thorough. i really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and showed the proof on camera instead of just making claims. he was honest, patient, and easy to talk to.
