Dr. Elisabeth Wheeler is amazing. I broke my hip five years ago and saw her at another facility. I was impressed with her professionalism, enthusiasm and skill. I was happy to find Dr. Wheeler again at her own practice, where she was once again knowledgeable, helpful and kind. She truly cares about her patients.The space is very clean with attractive décor. Also want to give a shout-out to Jason, who is also great.I highly recommend Pittsburgh Performance Physical Therapy!!!

Dr. Wheeler and Dr. Meissner are simply amazing! I was struggling with nerve irritation and muscle pain from playing violin, and within 6 weeks, most of my pain was gone and my violin playing actually improved! Their combination of strengthening and therapeutic modalities improved my posture, muscle strength (I gained 20 lbs of grip strength in 6 weeks), and overall well being. It is a comfortable and relaxing environment, and both Dr. Wheeler and Dr. Meissner are very kind and experts at what they do. Highly recommend for musicians, I had an excellent experience.

I was referred to Dr. Wheeler for TMJ pain and related symptoms, which I've experienced for years ever since I had a braces when I was kid/young teenager. Dr. Wheeler helped me uncover severe skeletal abnormalities in my jaws. I knew I had a canted smile beforehand, but it turned out that my upper jaw is not only canted but also severely shifted to the left and too far back, resulting in an underbite and a severe unilateral crossbite, for which I was compensating by shifting my mandible back and to the left.
