I went to Point Breeze with 4 dogs and 2 cats all through the 1980s and 90s. They were great. Now that I live in the city again, I started back 2 years ago with my one dog ( with Addison's Disease). Once again they are great. The staff is always helpful & the doctors have been attentive, kind and knowledgeable.

I couldn’t imagine taking our cat to anyone else but Dr. Schroth. Our cat is a rescue who struggles with anxiety, so it takes a kind and compassionate doctor to help her feel at ease. We are lucky to have found Dr. Schroth at Point Breeze Vet.

Had a really great experience at this vet recently. We had taken our grumpy cat there about 8 years ago for a well checkup and felt like everyone was exasperated at our inability to make her cooperate. I took her again recently for a health issue, and she was so ferocious-sounding, we never even got her out of the carrier. The vet was incredibly kind and not annoyed at all. She laid out all the possible causes of the health issue and gave me a sedative to try again (if I'd had time, they would have just sedated her in-office that first visit, but that's a longer visit).
