“All the doctors at the Penn Animal hospital are very good and accommodating. What's really nice is they have an open Vet time Monday through Friday 10 AM to 1 PM whereas you can just walk in, you don't need an appointment during this time?“
“I couldn’t be happier with our experience here! I have a 9 year old Shih Tzu and Dr. Mansfield was so thorough in going over her medical history and things to look out for in the future. The staff were kind and incredibly prompt which I appreciate so much, and the space was clean which I imagine is hard to keep up with at a vet clinic. Due to moving around a bit, my dog has been to three different vets in the Pittsburgh area and while they’ve all provided great care, I was most impressed by the care, staff, and provider at Lawrenceville Vet Clinic.“

“My cats have been boarding there 2 days, I’m still 1200 miles away on a trip, and I couldn’t help but go ahead and write this review. They are kind, compassionate, loving, patient, and absolutely obsessed with loving our animals as their own while we’re away. One of my cats has asthma, and it’s really hard for me for me to leave her at all, but I’ve never felt so safe with her being somewhere else. Pet parents - this is the place you want your kids to be when you’re not there. I’m so beyond impressed and so thankful for them! The Nestcam is a GAME CHANGER. Incredible people, and I’ll be switching them over to this clinic for their primary vet needs when I get home.“

“Everyone here is extremely kind and helpful. They put the best needs of your pet first. My dog had a mass on his ear that was growing quickly and the front desk called several times as soon as they got a schedule change to move his surgery date up. Dr Nikki is the best vet we have ever worked with especially with GSDs. She is easy to talk to and always makes my dogs feel comfortable. I trust her with the care of my dogs and know she has their best interest at heart. We have been to many vets and have had many pets as well as foster animals and I would not take them anywhere else.“
“I love the care my cats have received from Rivers Veterinary Urgent Care. I was first introduced to this practice being a foster mom for Theo and Dr. Thornton being who my cat rescue introduced me to for his care. Once i adopted Theo, I continued to use Rivers Vet exclusively for him and my other cats. I have seen Dr. Thornton and Dr. Neihaus and am thoroughly pleased with both their attentive care given to my cats. I feel they take time, explain clearly what I need to know, answer any questions, and are tender with my cats. I never feel admonished, only educated. The entire staff treats me and my cats with respect.i like, too, that I wait in the car eith my cats til they ate ready for us. The only downsides? They have a number of walk-ins allowed which is great but, just know, the wait can be very long (last visit was 2 hour wait but it was not life or death and I had the time so wait we did in the car). Not their fault. They are a busy practice. It is what it is. I was thankful to be able to have my cat be seen same day as when I called. Patience is needed here and every other vet practice anymore -- Supply vs. Demand.“

“I took my cat, Chip, in for his annual exam at the Cat Clinic to get his shots. The staff at the Cat Clinic were great. They were gentle and sweet with Chip. They completed his exam efficiently and we were back home within a half hour. The office was clean and welcoming. It’s always hard finding a new vet but we couldn’t be happier with the Cat Clinic.“

“I had to bring in my dog last minute because my regular vet was closed. I called around 2pm and they were able to squeeze me in at 4pm. I was a bit nervous because my dog tends to be anxious at our regular vet. The front desk worker/tech was a younger guy and was absolutely AMAZING with my dog. I wish I would’ve caught his name. He played with my dog, gave him a few treats and made my dog feel comfortable. The result was my pup being really comfortable in this new environment! The doctor was very polite and professional and handled our case appropriately. He was very thorough in asking questions about my dog’s current illness. For 2 medications, 3 injections an exam and a pannel, our total was only $255. Thank you so much for your service! My furry feiend and I appreciate you!“
“Every now and then I make a poor decision. I took my two new kittens to a veterinary chain. I thought it would be more “convenient”. One of my kittens is not doing so well and the only real help from the “chain” was to throw antibiotics at the issue, rather than working to understand the underlying issue. Having been a client of Harts Run for years with previous cats, I knew immediately the error of my ways and made an appointment at Harts Run. What a difference. The vet took a lot of time with me to talk through all of my kitten’s symptoms. We discussed what it could be, both the not so bad and the really bad, and produced a plan for treatment. Note: antibiotics were not part of the treatment plan. The entire staff at Harts Run is top notch. I learned my lesson. There is no other vet for me. I wholeheartedly and with fervor recommend Harts Run.“
