4156 Library Rd Building 3, Pittsburgh“I would recommend Iron City Elite to anyone trying to improve their health and fitness. It is a welcoming environment with a diverse group of people from all walks of life. The group classes are small enough that you definitely get the individual attention from the trainer that you need while still having the energy and camaraderie of a class. The trainers are great about meeting you at your level, but still pushing you to make progress. They are always willing to make modifications for individuals where needed.“

605 Melwood Ave, Pittsburgh“I have been training with Josh for almost two years now, and it has been one of the best decisions of my life. Training with him has helped me regain consistency and motivation with exercise, lose weight, get into better shape, and feel healthier overall. His approach to training is truly holistic, thoughtful, and deeply personalized. Josh goes far beyond simply counting reps or following a generic program, he treats you as a whole individual, taking into account your body, goals, limitations, and overall well-being.
As a physician, I can confidently say that Josh’s knowledge of the human body and exercise physiology is extremely impressive. His understanding of exercise, physiology, nutrition, and how all of these elements work together is the most comprehensive I have ever seen in a personal trainer. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that training is not only effective, but also safe, sustainable, and aligned with long-term health.
On top of all of his knowledge, Josh’s studio is truly impressive. He has every piece of equipment imaginable and everything is kept pristine, highly organized, and meticulously maintained. The environment he has created reflects the same level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail that he brings to his training.
I would recommend Josh again and again without hesitation. Training with him has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and anyone would be incredibly lucky to have Josh as their trainer.“

5770 Butler St, Pittsburgh“My experience is a bit unique. I met with Brooks to talk over some very specific goals I have and he told me that they are not the best place to assist me with my goals and referred me to someone else. If my fitness goals change and I want to do something more in line with what type of training they specialize in, I will not hesitate to go back because that kind of honesty and frankness is not always commonplace in the business world. He could've promised me the world and taken my money but he and his gym clearly prioritize honesty and customer satisfaction which I think is great.“

8013 McKnight Rd, Pittsburgh“I have been a member for 4 years now. It's one of the best decisions I've made to join since becoming a mother. I love being able to fit in a workout while spending time with my children and socializing with other moms. I have truly gained a village and support system through the highs and lows of motherhood. There are a variety of workouts and locations at local parks and malls. There are mom only workouts too in the evenings and Saturday mornings that I've really enjoyed too since they are higher intensity workouts that will focus on overall health and wellness even outside of the classes. There are fun monthly play dates, family days and moms nights out that make joining so much more than just a workout. It really is a wonderful community of moms that has helped me become physically stronger and emotionally more supported during my motherhood journey.“

1408 S Negley Ave, Pittsburgh“I have been working with JoAnn at Hydration Health and Fitness for nearly two years. From day one JoAnn listened to my concerns and frustrations about my past with various diets and exercise and empathized deeply. She helped me to instill new habits that are sustainable and realistic with my day to day life. I now feel that I know how to exercise safely, set my own (realistic!!) goals, and create sustainable nutrition plans for myself. Additionally, she helped me to gain a much healthier and less negative outlook on nutrition and exercise which makes this process even more rewarding.“

She is very proficient at her job and I thank her very much. Her name was Grace M. She got my membership fixed and got me my new card and did what no one else did for me. She helped me with what I needed to get into the club.“

250 Mt Lebanon Blvd #413, Pittsburgh“I have been training with Marcie at Touchstone for nearly 8 months now. She has helped me to tune into my body’s form and function during the exercises, which has translated into my daily life. I feel stronger and find myself able to do things I haven’t done in years, without pain.
Marcie, under the guidance of Lisa, is thorough and clear in her instructions/ cues, compassionate, and takes the Pilates method seriously, but has fun with her students at the same time.
I HIGHLY recommend Touchstone to anyone wanting to train as Joe Pilates intended.“

“My wife and I lived in Pittsburgh for a year and *absolutely loved* MADabolic. Training there was a huge highlight of our time in Pittsburgh. Here's more detail about what we loved:
- The workouts are excellent and efficient. We just show up, watch instructors demonstrate (with sufficient nuance and detail) each exercise, then work. It's an intense and productive hour, we always leave dripping sweat and made noticeable gains quite quickly.
- The instructors are friendly, engaged, and give good feedback. My squat and hinge motions got significantly better due to instructor feedback, and I learned way more than I would with just video instruction. I also learned some boxing basics. *Every* instructor learned our names immediately, and made an effort to have it feel like a real community rather than a transactional workout.
- My wife and I had significantly different prior experience with exercise, but we could take the same class next to each other (just using different weights and getting different feedback).
- It was just a really great vibe. We several times/week and were always excited to go. We both got so much stronger throughout the program. We loved interacting with the instructors.
We wound up checking it out randomly because Jesse happened to be recruiting in the lobby of our apartment building, and we're *really* glad we did!“
