We are extremely satisfied with the skillful work provided by Evan, Bob and the crew at Classic Finishes. We hired the company to refinish our old, beat-up kitchen cabinets. Evan spent time experimenting with different finishes and, as we made suggestions, drove various samples out to our home. Even after we gave the OK to one of the samples, Evan experimented with a new color and drove that sample out to our home, saying he thought he'd found a brown tone we'd like even better. He was right! We have gotten compliments on our newly refinished cabinets, and we would highly recommend this business.

The building has an awesome design structure, each salon has a different and unique style according to the stylist and all are really cool to peak into. The stylists themselves are all amazing people and getting your hair done there is highly recommended and high quality.
I haven’t had my hair colored in over ten years. It was all one color with a spray of gray. I requested something to give my hair more dynamic movement. My hair type is fine, light brown, and it was all the same length. Taylor listened to me and had suggestions that made sense. After a few days, I feel like the foils are perfect for wearing parted in any spot. It looks cute down, up, braided… My hair is interesting now. I love it. It was exactly what I wanted.

Been trying to find a good barber every time I visit Minnesota for work, just been going to the barber shop at the mall but it was so inconsistent some good cuts but a lot of bad cuts. So when I found this place which was pretty close to my hotel thought I'd try it out and I'm glad I did. Wyatt was just a super chill dude who listened to what I wanted for my cut and at $30 you can't complain, definitely will go back here again.

This is one great Barbershop! I first started going here in 2011, when I lived in that area. You will not get a better haircut anywhere in the state of Minnesota like they do at Grandview! I have now come back, even though I don't live in this area anymore! I am very happy with their services & you will be too!
There are two gentlemen that work here & I think they own the shop as well,but I am not sure. The person who cuts my hair is Jacob & the other goes by the name of Gib. They both know how to cut hair extremely well. Gib is a former bodybuilder & for an older gentleman he looks much younger. Jacob is the one that cuts my hair & he gets a PhD from me in the knowledge of his craft.
Let me tell you how my haircut went. Jacob takes his time in assessing your hair & how he is going to cut & finish your hair so you can look great! There is no place like this shop to be found. Jacob follows the growth, style & structure of your hair & then proceeds. Even my hair that grows on my ears he cuts away because he knows it's a nuisance. He shaved off my two weeks worth of stubble and it was done so well. His knowledge of his craft is one of a kind. Once you become a customer you will want to come back & become a regular. Gib is excellent as well!

Wow! My first impression was unforgettable. Echo greeted me so kindly and gave me an in depth tour of the salon and was so knowledgeable about all the beds and lotions. Gave this place a try despite questionable reviews because I was in the neighborhood and they had late hours. Was not disappointed & have been back a few times since. Great service, not pushy (I just wanted a basic pedicure) & their prices are better than any other spa around. My first pedi there was just before a 2 week road trip that would involve camping on the beach, a music festival, and many miles of hiking. My toes held up beautifully through it all! I am always served by someone in a big hurry. They do a good job, though. It's just my bad luck that my peducurist finishes me quickies, then my daughter or a friend, when we come together and buy the same deal. Or, I am alone, and someone walks into the place, and the person who is serving me usually tells them to wait for 5 minutes, because she is about to finish (which she wasn't). I am not happy with that!

Terra has been cutting my hair for the past few years. She helped me transition from medium length to short hair which is a big transition and huge commitment as anyone with curly hair knows since our hair grows sooooo slow. Thanks to Terra I have enjoyed my hair every step of the way. My hair is currently very short and I love it! Terra has found a way to highlight my curls while also keeping it short and feminine. Her product recommendations have also been helpful in creating the style I want. I always enjoy chatting with Terra, but have recently adopted a "quiet haircut" which I highly recommend. We usually catch up for a few minutes and then I read while Terra cuts my hair. It's so lovely to just relax, read, get my haircut, and enjoy Terra's beautiful space.

I got a massage from Jasie this afternoon at The Darling Den and it was exactly what I needed! I also did the Gua Sha add on which was soo necessary for my tense shoulders. The CBD massages with Lisa are my go to! She is friendly, listens to her customers and can apply the pressure you seek. I usually flex between the 60 and 90 minute sessions. The booking is super easy as a member using the mobile app and I always get a curtesy call a few days prior. There is a cancellation fee of 50% should you not cancel within 24-hours. The front desk staff is peppy and will guide you into the waiting area where you will be offered a drink and a hot towel if you feel inclined. Bonus - you do NOT have to be a member to book a session. When booking, non members get access to the entire club including child care classes, machines, weights, sauna, etc. Rating this a 4 simply because I feel like the waiting space could use a facelift such as some zen music, candles, or even a small water fall to add some serenity to the space.

She is very versatile - from a 1950s look to a more modern look to mother-of-the-groom. We were each very different complexion and hair style, and we all received many compliments. Such a great experience! This was my first tattoo and I felt so comfortable every step of the way. Jers took the image in my brain and made it a reality, and he did it so quickly! It took just a couple hours for the design and tattoos for both myself and my friend. This was about five weeks ago, the tattoos have healed beautifully and I completely understand why people get addicted to this! Definitely won't be my last visit here.
Got a tattoo 4-5 years ago that was not done very well at all. Been embarrassed by it for quite some time. Called Hung's and was able to get in for a quick consult for reworking my tattoo. The second he started rattling off ideas - I knew I was in the right spot. Few weeks later got in (bigger tattoo). Can't believe what a great job he did basically redoing most of it. The place had a chill vibe, we were greeted promptly and before long, I was in a clean chair (the place is super clean) with John (John is super cool) at the ready!

I always go here for piercings. I had both of my eyebrows pierced and they looked perfect and symmetrical. Lots of care goes into making sure it looks good and works with your anatomy. 10/10 recommend

Madds made me feel so comfortable; from simply asking if I was comfortable, to adjusting the stencil size and placement, to asking if I was ready to start, to warning me the wrist gets "a little spicy" ?? and listening to me tell you crazy stories about my life. I'm so glad I was able to grab your cashapp from you for your tip since the ATM limits you to $200 ☹️ Let that be a lesson to everyone! Bring cash! My pieces were $200 if anyone is curious. The vibes of the shop were also really fun and creative. Everyone had their own style and I loved it. As someone who works in surgery, I also appreciated the sterile technique I saw and that everyone was freshly setting up as I walked in. It adds a level of comfort knowing I can see the process happening. Definitely looking forward to coming back for more ?

Kelly Plumbing recently provided excellent service for a bathroom faucet repair in our 100+ yo home. Autumn was clear, transparent and communicative in explaining their pricing structure and setting up the job. The Tech (Nick) arrived on time and was friendly and professional in considering the two options we presented to him for completing the repair. His work product was excellent, and the price we were charged seemed very reasonable when compared to two other plumbing companies we contacted. (We also received a first-time customer discount that was greatly appreciated.) Bottom line: we will definitely consider using Kelly for future plumbing projects!

I contracted with Capra’s to remove a septic and connect to city sewer. It was a large job that involved a lot of tractors and digging. Every person on the crew was fantastic. Incredibly professional and took the best possible care of my property. John did a great job improving the slope of a challenging hill, he’s an Earth artist in a tractor. Today was the third time that I have used Norblom Plumbing. Stuart, the technician, quickly diagnosed the cause of the leak in my basement ceiling and repaired it within an hour. He thoroughly explained where the leak was coming from and potential reasons that it had occurred (and ways to prevent in the future). While he did have to open up a small part of the basement ceiling, he was very respectful of my home and put down drop cloths to contain the drywall debris. He did a spectacular job of cleaning up before he left. Would absolutely recommend Norblom Plumbing!
Communication and service were outstanding. Chris called an hour before arrival, was prompt, courteous and professional. Had lots of tree roots blocking my main sewer line, he removed 90% of them. The other 10% he explained why they couldn't readily be removed with his equipment, but gave me ideas to help minimize them. Very impressed with his forthcoming information, patience in answering all my questions, and service (took about an hour). Also completive pricing - much more reasonable then the big companies. They are not only professional and extremely knowlegeable about the intricate details of boiler heating systems, they go the extra mile. I am a REALTOR, and I had a client out-of-town (and cell phone range) and we needed an emergency safety check at the client's house after a home inspector (who didn't know complicated boilers but sure could comment on them) created inspection issues. Avery, the owner's son, came running to the rescue. I learned more from Avery in an hour about the heating system in the home than I could have ever figured out on my own or from techs from other companies. He wrote up the service details on the invoice before he left the driveway. Whether you have a basic boiler or a complicated one, old or new - Cities 1 knows boilers. We just purchased a 1950s home this winter and wanted some small updates: bedrooms outlets grounded, a few GFCI updates on outdoor and basement outlets, etc. Jon's estimate was super reasonable and he was thorough when checking things out. When he came back to drop his team off, they were able to add in updating the wiring for a dishwasher install thanks to Jon noticing we had a dishwasher waiting for install and asking about its wiring situation (previous 2002 dishwasher was hardwired). The team was great -- super personable, clean, and quick. My hope, as always with house projects, is that I won't have to call them again (lol), but I definitely will call Super Electric!

We had a new circuit for a sauna installed, along with wiring of the sauna heater. Troy was great. He was quick and efficient on both days. On-time, and professional. No attempts to “up-sell” additional service (like some other companies I recently found out work on commission), and no pressure to give a “five star review.” (I’m so tired of professional services that start with a question about what they need to do to give us “five star service” before the job is done or the quote received - comes across as salesmanship not service). I was lucky enough to have Luke Neslund as my electrician the very first time I hired Early Bird Electric. He repaired a seriously botched installation of my dining room light fixture. As he was installing the other light fixtures he discovered several crispy wires. Of course those had to be replaced sooner rather than later! Luke came back this morning. I’m sure it wasn’t fun up in the attic pulling wires. But he never let anything stop his ambition or great attitude. I could have easily had an electrical fire and lost everything if he had just “done his job” and only installed the lights as on the original request. I can sleep well knowing I’m safe. Have a rental property where the carpet was removed and needed to be refinished. It was in rough shape with some permeant damage due to pets. They did a decent job on getting it to the best shape they could. Pricing was straight forward up front and seemed fair. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is there was a miscommunication on getting the stains out. My understanding as they were all going to be removed but they were not and the finish was put over them. It was a little frustrating but there could have been a misunderstanding on my end and after discussing with him I see the pricing could not have reflected that type of work. I needed to do something to satisfy the local rental inspector and this did the job. Besides the stains the floor looks really nice! I would still recommend them for any job.Service: Restoration

Richard and Anna did a great job with our gut job kitchen remodeling. They tore it down to the studs and built it all back up with excellent plans, schedule, management of subcontractors, countertops and custom cabinets. The project stayed on and met the twelve-week schedule they laid out. The Cambria countertop measurements, production and installation took at least three to four weeks of that timeline and that could only happen AFTER the cabinets were installed, so their part actually went pretty fast. They took the time to make the cabinets fit our older house's kitchen measurements/eccentricities and supplies/appliances that we used.
Highly recommend Guardian Services Contracting! They did it all from pre-construction on-site visits to post- construction follow ups. This company provided customized solutions to issues I had with insurance claim, to making sure the work was tailored to my unique style and preference. There were no shortcuts taken and all work was completed to the highest standard. The house looks better than we ever expected and the team worked extremely hard to get the job done. My husband and I are already in talks of getting some additional work carried out in the future and we couldn't recommend them enough. I almost never leave reviews for any businesses, but they did such a great job fixing my gutters after an issue came up that wasn't at all their fault. Painters had left a paint brush on the roof that ended up in the gutter, which caused all kinds of weird problems. We had part of our neighbors cottonwood come down on our property. Chris from Edina seasonal services was out to our property day of incident. He kept us informed of when clean up would happen and also the trimming of cottonwood. Super friendly knowledgeable and got the job done making our backyard safe again. Johnson Creek Landscaping was just what I needed! Mick came and assessed my situation (56x22x3 foot retaining wall), came up with a plan and informed me of ways I could save money on the project (usually folks are trying to upsell instead of save their clients money!). When they came to do the project, they were very professional, nice guys. They did a great job and cleaned up at the end of every day. They even swept the street out in front. They cared for my property and at the end, the leveled my lawn (which had been damaged by their equipment) and seeded it and laid hay down. The grass was back in a few weeks! The even seeded my neighbors lawn below their side of my retaining wall (where there was only dirt before) and mulched below the other neighbors (where there has been mulch before). My Health Partners plan covered everything, but I could tell that they are thoughtful about pricing, too -- they provided four options for my next steps and had researched pricing with my insurance plan by the time I was ready to check out. I feel very grateful that I found this place by blind luck. Dr. Diane is the GOAT! Was experiencing extreme neck pain from a pinched nerve for 3 weeks. Nothing was helping. Based on a friend’s recommendation I went in to see Dr. Diane 2 weeks ago. Got some relief overnight from the first visit and after 4 visits over a couple of weeks the pain is 90% gone and range of motion has improved near fully. Dr. D is a truly gifted practitioner and super friendly/compassionate. Same goes for the entire staff there. It’s also been very easy to get appointments.
I was having back pain for years and wrongly self-diagnosing it as down to bad exercise (swimming) technique. A few people suggested seeing a chiropractor so I contacted a place near my house but never heard back from them. So, I contacted the next closest place (Mighty Oak). I didn’t know anything about chiropractic treatment other than videos I had seen of people getting snapped and bent and twisted. I assumed there was only one type. I was extremely skeptical about the NUCCA adjustment because it seemed so passive. How could so much pain be relieved by a few feathers weight of pressure? Stopped in because I needed a tune up. Got to meet Dr. Dustin. Let me tell you it is with coming to the Minneapolis airport just for this adjustment! He got me realigned and cracked and all the pain I had is gone due to the trauma of lots of flights in a short time! Pricing fair! Adjustment next level! The ROI here is a strong recommendation he made this several hour layover bearable again!

Not cheap buy worth every cent. I have a big dog and it takes them about two hours to give him a haircut and bath. I can't imagine how long it would be for me without the proper tools or experience. They do a great job and he looks wonderful every time.

The coaches are all phenomenal as well- im consistently amazed each time I have a new instructor. Committing to working out has never been easy for me- I didn’t grow up playing sports so never really felt like I fit in the “fitness” realm, plus didn’t have much experience with the discipline of fitness. Just got done attending a class on zoom with William Prottengeier. You really should investigate this center and William's classes. Very clear and concise instructional style. Includes philosophical commentary and mind body breath, conceptualizations to help the student go within. Inspiring and humorous. I love his classes and the center.
I tried a yoga class that was not right for me because of fibromyalgia and sciatica. The teacher was great. She tried to adapt the poses and when that didn't work she said she wasn't going to charge me so I could use the credit for a more gentle class.
Shaila is an experienced and knowledgeable yoga instructor in many types of yoga practices which she brings from in her classes which gives the name YOGAHOTDISH. I have been going to Shaila's classes for over 12 years and she truly is the best! She is knowledgable, experienced and adapts her yoga classes to individual needs/concerns/goals of her students......definitely not the fad/mass type of yoga class. Arden Hills is a wonderful space for yoga.....when weather permits there is a private outdoor patio looking over a beautiful wildlife area and a very spacious indoor area directly next to the patio. Stephanie is my Pilate instructor and I’ve got to say because of her, my experience at longevity has been GREAT. She knows what she is talking about. I can tell that she cares a lot about her clients and the work that she does. She makes me feel seen and heard when I talk about my body pain, about how I feel after every exercise. When I leave I feel amazing and always think, wow I could’ve used another hour!!! For as long as I’m still here in Minnesota, I’d like to continue my work here with Stephanie. She challenges me yet meets me halfway wherever my body and mind is. She knows right away if I am in my head and asks me how I am feeling that day and I could just tell she really cares. Since then I’ve been recommending Pilates to everyone I come across and how it’s opened my eyes and how it’s made me feel physically, even mentally and spiritually.

I've neglected my legs (versus my back) for far too long. Due to an injury I asked for some deep tissue work on my legs. April spent an intense hour working very deep to loosen up the fascia and begin to get the tissue pliable again. Muscles that have been weak and ineffective from being tight were allowed to begin functioning properly. Not necessarily relaxing, sometimes uncomfortable, but never painful and highly effective. All at a very reasonable rate. Strongly recommended. I've already booked another session.
This was my first massage ever so I didn’t know what to expect, but it was great. I opted for a “tune up” as I’ve had neck pain the past few days and wasn’t sure about a full massage. My experience was extremely relaxing and professional. The room temp and bed were both comfortable and I’m leaving feeling better than when I went in.

I feel in balance when I walk and move around in the home & I like how I look out of my eyes✨ I think the???s had something to do with this ?. I really appreciate the radial & ulnar nerve massage. This was something new 4 me & never been exposed to this type of massage. It felt like it needed to be touched & you unclogged some gunk while massaging it out (especially the l. side). The pain of the pes anserine (l. knee) gone 98% ?. I appreciate you resetting both my wrists ??? Especially the right one ?. Even though I am a lefty, I felt the restoration of my right hand ? & arm right from your table and it feels completely restored ? During my 2 massage sessions last night I noticed my right hand was put to better use ?↕️. & the challenge you had to face when massaging my much needed sore hips ?. & ?ping my ankles ?↕️. I have really enjoyed the care and help Britta has given me after having my first and being pregnant with my second.
