I was recommended to check out Grandview Barber earlier this year. I've been there a few times already and Jacob (owner/barber) is great. He pays attention to detail. He's a family guy, engaging, but also chill at the same time. I get compliments on my cuts and always share his info. His shop is on grand avenue which makes it easy to find. Street parking hasn't been an issue for me. Recently, I was trying to get a haircut in prior to 3 important events, and naturally I waited until the day before to book. He was able to fit me in. Definitely recommend!
I’ve been to about 6 barbershops in the Twin Cities in the past 5 years. I probably would’ve gone to 10+ shops but I found Jacob 2 years ago and have been going to him since then. He knows how to follow whatever you want the haircut to be and he also is great at giving recommendations for what will look good for your hair. I’ve thrown a bunch of different styles at him and it’s been a great cut every time. Also a much better price than most barbers I’ve been to. 10/10 experience!
Jacob is one of the few people I’ll pay to cut my hair. He understands what style will look good on me and will also take my opinions into consideration. I left feeling great about my cut and thoroughly enjoyed his conversation about family, travels, twin cities, etc
Will definitely be going back again. The only reason it’s not a 5/5 is because the inside of the shop could use a slight touch up.
