five stars for customer service, five stars for workmanship! for years, we were planning to remodel our kitchen in sherman oaks. after a lot of thought, we finally started gathering quotes from different home remodeling companies. honestly, choosing the right team was harder than we expected—some companies charged too much, while others were too aggressive with their sales. when the project manager from the remodeling company came out to bid the job, we immediately felt comfortable. the contractor wasn’t pushy and took the time to patiently explain the pros and cons of different options, like whether to go with quartz or granite countertops, and gave us helpful advice on features like pullout trash bins and drawers. they even gave us great suggestions on colors and design, making the whole process much easier. we’re pretty detail-oriented and wanted everything just right, so we actually got about 10 estimates before making our decision. price-wise, this company was right in the middle, which felt fair for the quality of work and service we got. it was definitely worth waiting and doing our research. our kitchen now looks amazing and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

New Dawn just completed a bathroom project for us plus replaced the floors in two of our bedrooms and the work is top tier quality. The team was quick, efficient, and always responsive. Design lead Kim was friendly, helpful, and his suggestions were always on point. The day to day Project Manager Jorge was amazing, truly a standout in his field. I honestly can't overstate how refreshing and helpful it was to work with Kim and Jorge. The work was completed faster than I expected without being rushed, and it honestly blew me away how the crew managed it all like clockwork. All construction projects are journey, and this one definitely came to a happy ending.
Mark Allen at Amazing Carpet Services is a miracle worker. Five years ago, I thought my carpeting needed to be replaced, but a neighbor recommended Mark. He has now cleaned my carpeting three times, and I am still getting compliments about the condition of that same carpeting. Mark uses unscented products, so there is no perfume smell afterwards. He can schedule quickly, arrives on time, and is upbeat, thorough, and detail-oriented. The last time he was here, my draperies weren't gliding smoothly, so he oiled the tracks. He glued a table, fixed a lock, and left fans overnight so the carpeting would dry more quickly. I highly recommend him.

I was recently referred here by friends who have used them for years and I owe these friends a nice bottle of wine because Vallee Cleaners is now my go-to! They were super nice when I came in to drop my items off, which were a few shirts and a thrifted coat that had a mark and faint smell to it. Everything came out perfectly, and the smell is gone too! Dalina is just one of the most genuine people and truly talented hairstylists I've ever been to. I've had my hair colored and cut by her twice, and she truly listens to what I want, takes her time, and makes me feel so comfortable and heard. I've been to quite a few hairstylists over the years and no one has taken care of me like Dalina. She doesn't try to sell you on unnecessary things and treatments, is constantly asking for feedback, and you really feel like you're collaborating with her instead of her just taking control. Huge shout out to Rodrigo. This was one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. He was extremely thorough, took his time, and didn’t rush at all. His rates are also very reasonable, which is a big plus. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how it’d go, since I have longer hair and usually get more of a salon-style cut. But he absolutely nailed it, blending everything perfectly and giving my hair a clean, smooth look. He’s definitely the kind of barber who can elevate the shop. I’ll be coming back for sure, whether it’s for a quick cleanup or before a big event. I’ll also be recommending him to all my friends.

Best barbershop experience any man will have in their lifetime. I’ve been getting my haircut here for almost a decade and the thought of switching barbers hasn’t even crossed my mind. Marquis and Mario are not only fantastic barbers, but great and respectable men as well. I always look forward to my monthly haircut because of these two, and I would recommend them to everyone.
Been going there for a couple years now and have consistently seen a smooth operation. I first went just because it was close by but over time I realized that this is a business that deserves a five star review. I just drop by when my hair gets too long and there is always someone ready to cut it. I also like the store motto, Manny’s is open to everyone. That inclusive language is welcoming just like the store owner who is usually always there. For me it’s perfect to get a quick cut, but I don’t doubt they can work with even more complex hair requests

She takes the time to make sure the color is customized to your skin tone, and the result always looks incredibly natural—even on my very fair skin. I never feel “orange” or overdone, just evenly bronzed and glowing.
My tan typically lasts up to two weeks while fading nicely and evenly, which I really appreciate. The whole experience is quick, comfortable, and consistently high quality from start to finish.

I went in today as a walk-in for gel X fill. I called ahead and they told me to come on over in 10 mins. They immediately started doing my nails. I’ve been going to Lynn’s Nails for years… I’ve gone to other places for research and they’re either much more expensive or lack on their service. Lynn is good and consistent. They’re always clean. It’s a small saloon (not many workers) so call ahead if you can, cash is better for them, they do take credit cards so you must use it at least do bring cash for the tip. She’s old style and hard work.

I can always guarantee their service is solid and very reliable. Booking an appointment is never a hassle and I rarely ever have to wait for another client, which is never more than a 10 minute wait.
Helen and David will always paint nails close to the cuticle and are great about it. They clean up cuticles really well and all nails will be even. Helen can take care of a hangnail or ingrown toe nail. David can take care of filing feet really well.

They dyed and tweezed my brows while I waited for the stylist to become available. The brow technician worked clean, was fast, and got my brow tint color and shape perfectly. I went to Jen Christie yesterday and it was a wonderful session. Some mixed up emotions, contradictory feelings that I have toward my family needed to be clear for me. I even completed a course of laser hair removal so as to not deal with the lack of this particular service for men, and I wish I had met Gwen before I did! Gwen is a professional esthetician, and she made me feel safe and comfortable. She understood the skin issues related to my experience with laser hair removal, and talked me through the steps to remove any concern or doubt. Her studio was clean, her waxing service was quick and efficient, and her prices were reasonable. Excellent communication ahead of the appointment and parking was easy to find, too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I had been interested in trying a buccal massage for such a long time, because of the health benefits, but I was also very nervous because like many women I have trauma and buccal massage is incredible intimate. Stella made me feel so comfortable, so fast, without even trying. She naturally has a very chill, relaxed vibe. She explained the service to me accurately without feeling stuffy or making me feel awkward about what I didn’t know. She maintained a gentle conversation with me that allowed me to understand what was going on and talk through my discomfort. The entire service was incredibly relaxing and Stella really took the time to get me to a relaxed state and feeling safe prior to the actual buccal massage. If you’ve never tried, it will blow your mind when you feel the weight and tension lifted. It’s really interesting how much tension we hold in our faces without realizing. I left that facial feeling stresses and weight lifted that I didn’t even know I had. 10/10 recommend.

I recently received a gift card for a 75-minute bespoke facial with Kathryn and, my goodness, am I glad I did. My experience at Skin Serviss was superb. One of those rare experiences that is just so good from beginning to end. The space is clean and beautiful. Easy to access off the 101 with a private parking lot behind the building.The space and Kathryn's professional attention is all yours while you're there. Kathryn is the perfect blend of direct and very-detail oriented while also being incredibly warm and a joy to be with. The facial was tailored to exactly what my skin needed and she talked me through each thing she was doing and why. Kathryn has over 25 years of experience and you can feel it when you're there. She answered questions I had and was wonderful to refer me to several things she thought might benefit me that she does not offer (i.e. only offered in medical offices) -- which I really appreciated. I also appreciated that when I mentioned certain products I already use, she acknowledged when they were good formulations rather than trying to sell me something else. It feels good to know that if she offers me something it is because she truly believes it would be of service to my skin. The facial involved many steps that exfoliated, brightened, and nourished my skin -- all while Kathryn massaged my neck, shoulders, arms, hands and feet. I left feeling like I was floating on a cloud with my skin absolutely glowing. That was yesterday. My skin looks even better today. I will be back.

Vonnie was the makeup artist for my wedding-my experience was 5 stars from start to finish. She was able to accommodate our location and our bridal party of 8 people. She was there early and got everyone's makeup done on time with our tight schedule. We did a trial and the day of the wedding, I decided to change a few things-she was able to accommodate that with no issues. Excellent service from Mike, They were able to come out on a Sunday night and took care of a drain blocked by root balls that you could see on camera and that came out on the snake. They provided a very reasonable quote to hydro jet the line the following day. I highly recommend Servistar for any plumbing needs and we will be using them for any future plumbing jobs as well.

Mark Allen at Amazing Carpet Services is a miracle worker. Five years ago, I thought my carpeting needed to be replaced, but a neighbor recommended Mark. He has now cleaned my carpeting three times, and I am still getting compliments about the condition of that same carpeting. Mark uses unscented products, so there is no perfume smell afterwards. He can schedule quickly, arrives on time, and is upbeat, thorough, and detail-oriented. The last time he was here, my draperies weren't gliding smoothly, so he oiled the tracks. He glued a table, fixed a lock, and left fans overnight so the carpeting would dry more quickly. I highly recommend him.

You have to hire Mike if you want your floor done right! We are doing a kitchen remodel in an 85 year old house. We have the original floors in our entire home and wanted to match them in the kitchen. Mike and his team did an outstanding job matching the floor so it is flush and seamless with NO threshold from the dining room to the kitchen. They had to remove four layers of flooring, about 1,000 nails and screws to get to the original layer of the home which had sunk (5 inches) in one area and swelled in another. They spent a lot of time and paid close attention to resolve the underlying issues and make them level. The floors are stunning. I am so pleased with the quality and fantastic service. They also cleaned up everywhere each day and when they were done. I would never hire anyone else to do our floors now.

When I was planning this remodel I just wasn’t sure on when to start and how it would work with my schedule. I was not in town for most of the project. That was the whole reason I kept dragging my feet on it. I did not want to manage a remodel from a different state. Sounded like a terrible idea. But the house needed work badly and there was no point in waiting anymore. I was initially very worried. Asking myself can I trust the contractor will they answer me, will the job keep moving and so on. With quality first builders I felt early on that the answer was yes to everything. I met with Rudy for the first meeting, and once the contract was signed, I received a very detailed breakdown of all the design items from the design team. This email literally had everything in it, questions, links to things, vision boards etc. This was a lot more help than I expected given the fact that I wouldn’t be in town when a lot of the finishes were going to be needed. We scheduled in-person shopping dates for the days I was in town and other things were chosen online.
They kept me in the loop the entire time with updates, photos and quick answers to everything. Their communication was absolutely top notch.
And then I came back and it was just... done. That is probably the biggest compliment I can give them. The whole thing took up way less mental energy than I thought it would and the place feels really good now. Very very glad I did not keep putting it off. Kudos to Quality First Builders for impeccable work from start to finish.

I had Lush Gardens rebuild a custom fence and driveway gate. I wanted an accurate copy of an existing fence and gate and Lush Gardens was able to deliver what I wanted, down to reconstructing a custom latch system that my husband had designed. The work was done carefully and the guys on site were all consummate professionals. My only quibble was that construction required taking over my whole backyard for cutting and staining the wood so I wasn’t able to use my backyard at all during the process. However , cleanup was great and the fence looks built to last. I would gladly hire Lush Gardens for any future work.
I called San Fernando Valley Landscaping after calling several other landscaping services and getting quotes for my custom fire pit and deck I want for my backyard. What I really liked about them was they weren’t pushy about coming over or signing a contract. They were patient and offered my options the others didn’t mention (probably because they were less expensive) So I went with them. From the design to construction they were professional and transparent the crew wore masks the whole time and for the first time ever they actually finished within the budget I gave them !! In 2026, when many medical and dental offices have stopped taking, well, any precautions, and in the process, have essentially told their elderly, disabled, and vulnerable patients that they can fend for themselves, Dr. Cajulis is showing them that she cares about them, and she cares about you.
She and every one of her staff still diligently masks and uses HEPA air filters in the office. That level of consideration says a great deal about how seriously she takes her responsibility to her patients.

I finally made an appointment to see a chiropractor, and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been dealing with chronic lower back and shoulder pain, and Dr. Tran did an amazing job addressing the problem. It turns out I had a hip misalignment, and her method was completely different from what I remember from many years ago, when chiropractors would twist you around and try to pop different parts of your body.
Instead, Dr. Tran used these little attachments to work through my tight muscles, covered my back with a heated blanket, and then used a tool that sounded like I was being stapled—but surprisingly, it was completely painless! Afterwards, I had a massage with Jerry, who was very nice and made me feel completely comfortable. I had never had a male massage therapist before, so I asked if I could keep my clothes on, and he said absolutely—it was no problem and he was able to work around it.
The front desk staff, Cynthia, was also wonderful and did a great job finding a schedule that worked for me. I’m especially happy that they were able to get my insurance to cover the visit!
The next morning, I felt so much better. Getting out of bed was noticeably easier, and I didn’t have to grunt and struggle like I usually do.
I highly recommend this place if you’re dealing with back or shoulder pain. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire experience.
The only downside is the parking. If you don’t want to pay an excessive amount for parking, I suggest looking for street parking nearby.

I've been going to dr. rob for over a decade. He has cured EVERYTHING you can imagine - from skin problems to digestion issues. Things conventional medicine could not - I originally went to him because I had exhausted so many specialists that could not find out what was wrong with me - I am healthier now today then I was younger because of him - he cured them all where conventional medicine could not. I go to him every month whether sick or well to keep my body tuned up and I'm in great health. I don't understand all the techniques he uses how it works or what, all I can say is it works - stick with it - trust - sometimes it takes time to solve a problem - being on supplements a few months a year or more, finally it's gone, sometimes it's literally the next day. I've even had things healed that conventional medicine said there is no cure for. I've sent numerous friends and family to him that have had the same experience. His staff is wonderful. He's the real deal, a true healer. As a side note, I am not against conventional medicine, it does some amazing things, I use both. But mainly , Rob, as he actually has CURED me, not put a bandaid on things like conventional medicine sometimes does.
I recently visited the chiropractic office of Dan and had an outstanding experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and efficient front office staff who made me feel welcome and comfortable. The office itself was clean, well put together, and had a calming atmosphere.Dan, the chiropractor, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with alleviating my back pain. He took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained the treatment plan he had in mind. Throughout the session, he made sure I was comfortable and checked in to make sure I was feeling better.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience at Dan's chiropractic office. I’ve been seeing Dr. Campbell once a week for a few months. I play soccer at UCLA and his work has helped my performance and overall health exponentially. I originally came in with foot pain as a bone in my foot had been out of place. After a few weeks he solved that problem for me. Since then I’ve been coming back for him to work on my back and neck. I’ve had back pain for the last 2 years. He has helped manage my back alignment and head aches. He’s extremely educated in what he does and understands the body very well. Every time I leave his office I feel improvement. The staff is also extremely friendly and welcoming.

Lori came to my house to groom my 15 year-old Belgian MALINOIS and she did a beautiful job. My dog loved her. The set up that she has is enormous. she did a beautiful job. The price was great considering she had a lot of fur that had to be basically cleaned out. I highly recommend her.
I’ve had dogs for the last 15 to 20 years. This is one of the best! they reall due their due diligence and they get brush their teeth. . They also clean their anal glands, but they shave their little paws , And make it very stylish they also brush their teeth and I’m just really impressed!! I have five dogs that I rescued, and they all seem to be very, very happy.
We’ve been coming to AJ’s for almost 10 years—and as our pup has aged and his body and needs have changed—I’ve become ever more grateful for the caring staff at AJ’s. My pup is 13 and has some arthritis and disk issues, and AJ’s goes slow, taking their time and letting him rest during times his body isn’t doing as well. They care for him like we care for him, and that’s hard to come by. I love AJ’s and am so grateful for how they care for my pup — and therefore me! So thankful they’re in our village.
We’ve been bringing our pup to K9 Loft for three years. The gals who run the front desk are the best (shout out Ash and Jaz!), they’re so welcoming and truly love the dogs. They usually call out her name right when she walks in the door and she’s so happy to see them too. They also do really cute crafts during the holidays with your dog, which is always something we love to see!
We love the text updates with photos, and also get her groomed here. She doesn’t need a lot of shaping with her hair, but the nail clipping, teeth brushing, and gland expression are such a great service. We love this place!

Jenna is incredible! I cannot recommend her enough. She really understands the pregnant body and how to release trapped tension, aches and pains with such tender care. My body feels like brand new every time! I’m so grateful I found her.

My partner found her during a time when I was lost and depressed. Death and tragedy was constant and I felt like I was drowning. I was getting deep tissue massages but no one could help with my pain, knots and state of fight or flight. They said I had ice shoulders 🙈🥶
I went to Body Balance by Marybel scared and ashamed of my body; being a big girl. Despite my smile she felt my sadness. She started giving me cupping and suggested a lymphatic drain massage. Showing my belly was a big deal for me but I didn’t feel judged. Even getting my period during a session she understood and didn’t judge but encouraged me.
After regular visits I felt calmer and safe. I don’t know how but I lost 40 lbs in 3 months! Just by adding lymphatic drains to my routine.
Marybel’s so kind and genuine. She suggests stretches and certain foods to help heal you naturally. She’s beautiful and cares to help others. I even portion out my pay now to see her because she’s worth it. I’ve been to nearly 40 massage therapist and no one comes close to Marybel.
Oh! And she healed my sciatica!!!!!! I’ve had this pain for years and two sessions at Body Balance and I truly became balanced and was able to walk without that shooting pain. I’m much happier and healthier now.

Hannah is the best - more than a PT or a massage therapist, I have been grateful to find her to help keep my body tuned up and free of pain! I have a long commute, sit in a chair all day, and have a history of running / endurance-sport related injuries and she has been amazing at helping to relieve pain and sore spots. Whether I'm just there for a regular tune-up or have a specific issue I need addressed, I always leave feeling a lot better and looser than when I came in. I highly recommend her for anybody looking for injury relief or just general maintenance!

The staff is very friendly and the facility is clean. Parking is in the back of the store and the business is on the second floor. There is an elevator to access the upper level. Highly recommend a 60 minute massage. 30 minutes is not enough time to fully relax. Not sure the name of the masseuse. Very pleasant experience and will return again.
This place is Haven. A wonderful place to get a massage with you partner or just yourself. The employees are wonderful and really sweet! They know want you need. My back and ankles are always hurting and they know just want to do to make the pain go away.

The owner is super friendly and tries hard to please. The place is clean and has four beds for foot massage and several private rooms for regular massage without clothing. Almost all the girls have given me a good massage too. Most bad reviews are old so please take that into consideration. I have been coming here for years.
this is my go-to massage place. every masseuse i’ve had has been absolutely incredible, and my massage with Pat today was nothing short of perfect - she knew where and when to massage each muscle, didn’t lose focus in her routine for even a second, and had amazing technique. and with such reasonable prices it really doesn’t get better than this. highly recommend!
Loved it so much I just bought a 5-pack contrast therapy. Pure recovery has become vital to my post workout routine. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are spacious with everything you need to relax and reset. I currently do 7.5 minutes in plunge then 7.5 minutes in sauna and repeat for a total of 30 minutes. I also love they stay open fairly late. Would highly reccomend this place for any athlete.
Amazing and great massage. Came in for a couples massage super relaxing and enjoyable left with all the knots untwisted. Great attention to what you need. This was my first time but I would be back. Definitely a must try if your nearby.

This was my first experience with a full body 90-minute massage and it did NOT disappoint. In fact it was like a spiritual experience.
The owner greeted us in the waiting room, making us feel comfortable. Then we went into this large, dark quiet room with soft music. There were many beds separated by small partitions with people being cared for. I’ve never experienced that before, and it was surprisingly helpful in making me feel better more comfortable as a first timer. Safety in numbers and all that.
My masseuse was Leo. When I told him it was my first time, he gently guided me in where to put my shoes and my purse and how to lay on the table. I loved having my feet soaking in hot water while he started with my neck. He took his time and paid special attention to the extra tight spots from my face and eyebrows and jaw, to my neck and upper shoulders. Next were my arms and hands followed by a super long, wonderful massage on my feet. I appreciated the depth of the massage while at the same time being treated carefully.
Last, I turned over and he took care of my back. It was heavenly. The soft music and the clean smell and my kind masseuse were the perfect combination I didn’t even know I was missing.
You can’t beat the price and I’m shocked they don’t charge more for such a high-quality service. I will definitely be back. You gotta try it!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Femina PT! Kasia, in particular, I have worked with for five years. When I met her I had just had abdominal surgery for colon cancer. She not only helped in my recovery with pelvic floor therapy, but also helped resolve a shoulder injury that was 5 years old at the time. She helped me through two more very serious abdominal surgeries, as well as a pregnancy! Because I have had so much success with Kasia and physical therapy, I work with Kasia on a weekly basis for strength and conditioning training. We do a combo of Pilates, Yoga, weights, interval training and meditation. This keeps me pain and injury-free, while also improving my fitness and promoting longevity as I age.
I have also worked with Anna for strength and conditioning training. She is also excellent - highly recommend! I learned so much about the science behind different strength exercises. She is also trained in Yoga, Pilates and meditation.
Truly an amazing place if you are looking for help from surgeries, injuries, anything pelvic floor, pregnancy, and strength and conditioning. It is a particularly safe and welcoming space with a wonderful group of people.
Although having joint replacement surgeries and recovering from same can be difficult, I was fortunate enough to have Bechtel Physical Therapy as my rehabilitation therapists. Being in the more than capable hands of Daniel Echeverry expedited my recovery and made it relatively pain-free.
Aside from being the consummate professional, Daniel has an engaging personality which certainly resulted in my truly looking forward to our sessions. In fact, when my wife noticed that therapy was rapidly improving my surgically replaced hip, she thought I was going more for the socialization than for the treatment. I also want to add that Daniel’s assistant, Em, was also fantastic and a real pleasure to work with.
Having received physical therapy at numerous facilities during my lifetime, I can easily state that Bechtel is hands down the very best.
When my acupuncturist moved to Calabasas, it was like a break-up - I loved her, but the traffic on the 101 finally wore me down. So I searched for someone in my town, Sherman Oaks, and found Kelly, who was right around the corner. I didn't know what I was getting into - yes she has glowing reviews, but don't they all? I walked into her office with few expectations . . . and a mass of nerves due to the holidays and everything else happening in life.
Well, I was reassured the moment I entered. Kelly and her space just projects calm and thoughtful care. And I noticed right away that she takes her time. She listens, works gently and with a near-miraculous painlessness, and then she gives you all the time you need on the table with the calming music playing. With other acupuncturists it was always 20 minutes - Kelly leaves you to heal with at least 20 minutes extra. This is true, deep-down meditative relaxation that in itself does a world of good.
That was our first session, which was very good. Then, like I said, she listens. We talked over a couple of things during the next session and it was far better, and seems to improve with every new visit.
I respond well to acupuncture, and have a fair amount of experience with it going back 15 years. I can say that my sessions with Kelly are the best I've had. If she wasn't just around the corner I would drive 20 miles to see her.

Amazing experience! I received such wonderful and helpful and extensive treatment. Neal is knowledgeable, knows what’s going right away, and helped me so much physically and emotionally on my first visit. He also saw my father for his first acupuncture visit. Highly recommend! Many patients stopped by to see him during my visit just to say hi!! I could see how helpful he has been to his community over the years and was so happy to discover this wonderful place!!
Dr. Kang is truly exceptional. I came to him with persistent shoulder and lower back pain after being told by other doctors that invasive surgery might be my only option.
When I first arrived, I started explaining what I thought the issue was—but he gently stopped me. He asked me to stick out my tongue and carefully examined it. Then he held my hands in his, closed his eyes, and checked my pulse for what felt like a full five minutes. I remember standing there thinking, “What is this guy doing?”
He then opened his eyes and calmly said, “Okay, come with me.” He brought me into the treatment room, carefully placed acupuncture needles, and had me lie under red light therapy for about 20 minutes. Afterward, he returned, removed the needles, and asked me to raise my arm and tell him if the pain was still there.
It was gone.
I couldn’t believe it. I had been living with that shoulder pain for months, and other doctors had told me I would likely need surgery. The most shocking part? I never even told him my shoulder was the primary issue. He was able to determine everything through his tongue and pulse diagnosis alone.
After just the first session, the pain that had plagued me for over a month was significantly relieved. A few additional sessions were needed for maintenance and to fully resolve the inflammation, but the improvement started immediately and continued to build with each visit.
He utilized a comprehensive approach that included acupuncture, dry needling techniques, red light therapy, and traditional plant-based Chinese medicine in the form of a custom tea he specially prepared for me before I left. The treatment felt personalized, thoughtful, and incredibly effective.
Dr. Kang has completely changed my perspective on acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. His depth of knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine care set him apart. I’ve referred several friends and family members to him, and every one of them has thanked me after experiencing relief from long-standing issues that conventional treatments hadn’t resolved.
