About two weeks ago, I experienced a severe muscle spasm in my trapezius that left me with constant tension and a headache that I just could not get rid of. As a chiropractor myself, I tried everything I normally turn to for relief—I was adjusted 2–3 times a week, did cupping, stretched daily, had a guided stretch session, and used my cervical traction pillow every day.
