Dr. Gharib is incredibly thorough and patient — definitely the perfectionist type, in the best way possible. If you're looking for a quick, in-and-out appointment, she might not be the right fit. But if you value quality care and attention to detail, she’s exactly who you want.
My wife and I visited her office for a contact lens exam. She was right on time and took the time to explain everything to us clearly and in detail. The exam itself was longer than usual, but only because she wanted to ensure everything was accurate and tailored to our needs.
When it came to ordering contacts, she provided free trial lenses and even encouraged us to try a mix — especially daily lenses — before placing a full order. She didn’t rush us at all and made sure we were comfortable with every step of the process.

Lana is amazing! She was so kind and non judgmental. She was incredibly patient with my three year old and eight year old. She has lots of toys to keep the little ones busy (and our screens helped too.) She is extremely knowledgable and gave me detailed instructions for how to treat their hair at home and also how to treat our home. She also had all the products we needed. We received five different estimates, and Olympia was right in the middle price-wise, which felt fair and reasonable. One of the main reasons we chose them was their strong online reviews, and we also spoke with two of their past clients in Sherman Oaks who had completed similar projects. Both had only great things to say, which gave us a lot of confidence.
From our first meeting, we had a great feeling about Ryan—he’s professional, honest, and easy to work with. That positive energy continued throughout the entire project.
This was a true full home remodel: wall removal, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, flooring, windows, painting, plumbing, electrical rewiring, insulation, and more. We first hired Steve and crew to replace a fence on the side of our house, and get rid of a planter and pour concrete to increase the size of the driveway. One of Steve's employees/subcontractors named Dean did the work. He did an amazing job. Super detail oriented, and organized throughout the job. It pretty much came out perfect.Since we were so impressed with this job, we hired Steve again to do some concrete and stucco repair work on the house then paint the exterior. Our house had many cracks, so it was a decent sized job. There were some issues with the visibility of the crack repairs, so Steve came in and redid the stucco on large portions of the house at no cost to us. We were very impressed by this responsiveness. Too good to be true. Dr. O' Malley can save teeth that others want to extract. People fly from other countries to see this dentist. I have had excellent work done by him. It was expensive but worth it. Bonus, the front office staff are extremely nice. I have since moved out of state, but would fly back for dental work if needed, provided it is a non-urgent need.

I've been coming here for years now and I've NEVER gotten a massage that wasn't excellent! I always get a deep tissue massage and their prices are very reasonable! It seems like each of the masseuses have a different style. Some of them incorporate stretching, others more time on body (vs back), some walking on the back... so definitely feel free to give it a few visits to find the person who is the best for you! But everyone is EXCELLENT!

It's been my life's quest to find a credible chiropractor that truely cares about his patients, thier well being, and what the fastest way to get them back on thier feet and out of pain, not just concerned with my insurance type and how many visits they can squeeze out of me. (Ive been to over 20 different chirpractors through out my life) Which is what I found with Dr Newman. His front desk Marjorie is probably one of the sweetest most caring employees I've ever met she called in a special request for me to go to Encino Open MRI who was also understanding of my schedule constraint and were willing to take my appointment at the last min because i was miserable and was my only day off to take care of this they got me in in the next 30 min (thank god it was one of those wide open machines...I can stand those doughnut machines ugh) Sent my report STAT and had my results 2 hrs later just in time to make my apt with Dr Newman the same day?! Can you say "amazing service (I'm no sure if they want me advertising this but they only charged me 295.00 for it because I was short on money:) " They found out exactly where the cause of my pain was coming from. Oddly My lower back was the major area of pain, after examining me he did an adjustment to my NECK not my back ?! which was something I wasn't expecting but guess what it totally worked, i could only be compared to MAGIC, If you wanted to be treated as a human being with dignity and respect and not just a co pay this is your office
Dr. Ardalan is truly amazing. I had a pinched nerve that has been building up over several years due to work and he was able to help me out with his skills and knowledge. I felt immediately better after the treatment and cannot recommend him enough. Not only is he an expert at what is does but he is also very nice and friendly. He genuinely cares about your wellbeing. Also his office is extremely beautiful and clean which is an added bonus. I'm so lucky I found him. Thank you Dr. Ardalan!
We always use D pet for boarding and daycare and yesterday used the groomer for the first time. She did an amazing job!!!
Truly my favorite groomer ever!! Estrella and the entire team at Barkin are incredibly kind and do such a great job. I’m sad I don’t live in Encino full-time, but anytime I am here to visit I make sure I pay them a visit. My dog is pretty timid, but she always seems genuinely happy to see the team at Barkin.
Ethan is an exceptionally talented groomer. The dogs love and trust him. Truly the best groomer we have ever been to.
We brought our dog in for grooming and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, patient, and clearly knows how to handle dogs of different temperaments. They took the time to ask about our preferences and made sure we were comfortable with everything before starting.
Our dog came back clean, well-groomed, and not stressed at all — which says a lot. The haircut looked great and exactly how we wanted it. The place was clean and well-organized, and the whole process felt smooth and professional.
Pricing was fair for the quality of service. We’ll definitely be coming back.
We’ve been taking Gogo and Mochi to Encino Pet Grooming for years and have always had a great experience. Gogo is a Maltese-terrier mix and his fur can get pretty unruly, but they always do a great job with him.
What I especially appreciate is how they handle Mochi. She’s very reactive and nail trims are not easy, but they are patient with her and always go out of their way to get it done. I know she’s not the easiest dog to work with, so I really appreciate the extra effort.
It’s hard to find people you trust with your pets, and they’ve earned ours. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going to this Bikram studio in Encino since 2017 and this practice has changed my life. It’s one of the only authentically Bikram studios around, and you can really feel the difference.
All of the instructors are great in their own way, super knowledgeable, encouraging, and they each bring something a little different to class. You’ll definitely grow your practice if you stick with it.
The studio is clean, easy to get to, and yes, the room gets HOT (as it should). They offer mats and towels for rent, but I’d recommend bringing your own.
Parking is behind the building, and you’ll head up a flight of stairs to get to the studio, it’s easily accessible from the parking area. If you see the large white sign that says “Bikram Yoga,” you’ve found it.
If you’re new, give yourself at least 20–30 minutes before class to get settled and let your body adjust. And hydrate… a lot, before, during and after class. And breathe. Always breathe ?

I did lymphatic drainage with Aline and I loved it! I’m pregnant and I wouldn’t trust any random person to do it, but she was very well recommended by some friends. Not every lymphatic drainage massagist is knowledgeable to do it on pregnant woman because the technique has to be different, so I’m happy I found her! She’s very sweet and professional and helped to reduce the fluid retention in my legs.
I loved my first reflexology session with Judi! She has magical hands and is very intuitive. It was interesting to feel my pain levels melt away. I loved the environment and experience she created. I highly recommend you give this healing service a try or go to her if you are looking for an experienced reflexologist.

The greatest physical therapy clinic! The staff is kind, warm, and knowledgeable. They have helped me through various issues and I have always left feeling infinitely better. I love how it does not have a doctors office feel at all.
My husband got a bedsore when he was in the hospital two years ago. We have been going to doctors and wound nurses ever since, trying to get it to heal, but the methods they have tried have not caused it to close. The wound is over the Achilles tendon and thus is not well served by blood, which complicates the healing.
We finally found this acupuncturist, Dr. Li, in Encino, who has training in the Chinese approach to healing wounds. We have only been going to her for a week, but already there has been significant growth of new, healthy flesh, and my husband's leg, which had significant inflammation, is looking healthier. Dr. Li is treating the wound with acupuncture, herbs, and electrodes. We are very encouraged with his quick progress, and wanted to pass our experience on to others who may be suffering with non-healing wounds. Dr. Li's approach is definitely worth trying, particularly if Western medicine hasn't been able to heal your wound.

There is a reason this place has a 5.0.... It's outstanding. I have been coming here since 2014. Most recently I started coming more frequently because of a shoulder impingement I developed from working out that prohibited me from lifting my arm above my head. It started in September and I didn't think to come to Amir until November when nothing else was helping and the pain didn't go away. After a few visits- the pain was gone and I could lift my arm again. I was thrilled but also sad because I didn't need to see him as regularly. But I go back just for the sheer enjoyment of my conversations with Amir. He can take one look at you, feel your pulse and then, come back with an exact diagnosis of what's going on mentally, physically, emotionally. I hope he never retires because I need him for the rest of my life.
