I have spent a lot of my life getting tattooed and this is the best shop I have ever been to. The artist are masters of their craft, people with passion and a deep understanding of Tattoos and the culture. Coming here you can be certain the artist is going to take care of you and the art. If you are looking for the best Traditional Japanese artist in town then walk on in and ask for Ross Vinstien. I have been working on my body suit with him for years and could not be happier with the results. If you are looking for real deal tattoos from the masters then this is the shop for you.

Ten Thousand Waves is by far the best! The shop is packed with amazing professional artists and a great atmosphere. Whether it’s your very first tattoo or you’re a veteran, they’ll take care of you. I highly recommend checking out the artists’ work on their website. You’re sure to find someone who will create the work you’re looking for.I have work from Jojo and Mike. Both are incredibly talented, professional, and simply good people. They take your ideas and turn them into amazing designs. I’m proud to wear their art!

Awesome experience so far getting tattooed by jojo, couldn’t be more grateful for his professionalism and hard work he’s put into my leg sleeve. Look forward to collecting more tattoos and paintings from him in the future.

From Ten Thousand Waves Tattoo Gallery

Ten Thousand Waves Tattoo Gallery opened it’s doors at the end of 2014 by Robert Atkinson and Jojo Ackermann who both have been tattooing since 1992. Both are well versed in American and Japanese themed tattooing well as contemporary art styles and more. Ten Thousand Waves Tattoo Gallery started as a tattoo studio to do large concept tattooing in a space that inspires and evolves regularly. Since then other artists have been making their way to work here. We have Manny Lorenzana, a 15 year tattooer who loves to do it in all styles, Karen Costleigh also a 15 year tattooer who does great lettering and solid traditional. Michael Caldwell who is know for his perfect crispy lines. Diego Mannino who makes solid traditional tattoos.
