I wanted to see what the 5 stars were all about. I found out. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile. She told me she’d need just a few more minutes to finish with her other client. Usually I’d get upset about waiting—but because of her energy I knew my appointment would be different. When she called me I immediately understood what the wait was for. Anishia gives each customer special time and attention. She washed, moisturized, and twisted my locs in record time. We swapped stories and vibes so much that u stayed Alamo’s an hour after I was done. If you’re looking for a skilled stylist with a beautiful spirit, she’s the one you want.“

“If you color your hair (especially as a blonde), then you know how hard it can be to get it right. I had been seeing the same colorist in Orange County for years before moving up to LA, and was very reluctant to try somebody new, but he referred me to Stefanie as a trusted alternative and I haven't looked back since. Not only does the color look extremely natural, but it grows out beautifully (in sort of a balayage way), so I can get away with coming in 1-2 times a year without worrying about harsh roots in between visits. I recommend her to everybody in my social circle, so it was only fair I spread the love to Yelp as well!“

“I've had the pleasure of having Jihan style my hair twice now- both times having a trim and silk press. From my experiences with her and how I felt after she revealed the final product of her work, I can honestly say there is no one else I would rather go to or seek out for any and all hair concerns/wants I may have. I left her studio both times feeling like a brand new person and had a newfound confidence about me, which I appreciate so much because we all want to achieve that when we think of self-care or see for ourselves when we make these types of appointments. If ambience and décor is something you look for in the 'hairstylist package', her studio provides a one-on-one personalized experience, which in my opinion heightens the experience overall. Not to detract from her talents, but Jihan's personality and vibe are incredibly easy to love; she is insightful, funny, and all around charismatic and conversation flows with ease. “How on earth could I possibly put into words the amount of love I have for Marine? I simply cannot! This woman made me feel the most beautiful i have ever felt on my wedding day. Let me tell u - I had a LONG A** wedding day - like 16 hours - I had a hair start time at 4 am and makeup was shortly after. Marine (and V who I also reviewed who did my hair who is AMAZING), were not only professional during this long long day - but the work they did was outstanding. Marine is professional, kind, sweet and a perfectionist. She never complained ONCE about a single thing and always had the best attitude. She went ABOVE and beyond for me to make sure that everything was perfect. My only complaint is that I do not live closer to her! LOL. She is simply the best makeup artist there is and I love her so much!!!!! Thank you so much Marine!!!!!!!!“
“Nadia is now located at 13419 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, we found out by going to the other address which is a salon she once worked at. Today was my first visit to Hair By Nadia after having been fully vaccinated. My hair has not been professionally cut for almost a year due to Covid. Nadia listens to your wishes and is easy to communicate with throughout the visit and I was very pleased and happy with the end result. I plan to use Nadia going forward since the salon I had been going to is no longer in business. Luckily, I happen to see a Groupon and decided to take a chance, and feel very fortunate to find someone I really like--style and service was on spot, and meeting someone that is very kind and considerate of you.
