My experience at Studio C has been absolutely amazing! I was very nervous about taking pilates as I get very self-conscious about exercising around other people. Christine turned pilates into more than just an exercise class. She always told me which muscle I was working with each movement, and took great care to ensure that I wasn't doing any exercises incorrectly. This is especially important in pilates because there are many instances where you could be unintentionally using your lower back for a stretch instead of your core which could lead to injury. I've been taking Pilates classes from Christine for several years so this is long overdue, but I want to add my voice to the many positive reviews. Christine is an excellent instructor who understands the body and how to get a really challenging workout without risk of injury. I've seen noticeable improvement in my strength, tone, and balance since studying with Christine. She varies every class and tailors the workout for whatever level you're at. She clearly loves what she does and it's contagious. There's a great vibe in her studio which is tucked away in a charming courtyard with plenty of free parking. I highly recommend Christine and Studio C!
I highly recommend Christine for anyone of all age groups. She is a very professional and caring instructor and if you have any injuries or rehab issues, she can work with you to isolate and strengthen using not just pilates but will incorporate other modalities. A 10 out of 10
