The guys at Art Grossmann & Sons did an amazing job installing our new AC system, helped with the existing Heater system and made sure that it was working properly. They did the job very quickly and kept my house nice and clean during the install.
I appreciate the quick response I get when calling in issues to Wighton's and the service given. The only time I had an issue of mis-understanding they more than took care of it. I also have appreciated their alternatives when looking into complicated issues that needed cost comparisons.
Preston does very careful plumbing work and really pays attention to the details. He has the experience to find tough sewer and water line issues, and he uses quality equipment, including a sewer scope camera, to diagnose problems the right way. He replaced a long section of lateral sewer line, installed an outdoor shower, and ran a new water line to a future shed. The job also required digging a long trench through a tight area with existing pipes and utility lines, and he handled it smoothly. Not many plumbers can take on a project this complex, but Preston did an excellent job from start to finish. He kept the work area organized, restored everything neatly when the plumbing work was done, and treated the property with real care and respect. The whole experience was professional, efficient, and high quality. I would gladly use this plumber again for any sewer, water line, or outdoor plumbing project.

Carlie is by are the best massage therapist I have ever been to! Believe me, I’ve been to a lot. She brought me relief at a time when I was going through a lot emotionally. I don’t live in Santa Barbara was just visiting. I wish I could fly back weekly to have treatments from her.
Had cataract lens replacement in both eyes by Dr. Paveloff about 7 mos. ago. The surgeries were 2 wks. apart with Lensx Laser and Toric lenses with far focus as replacement lenses. Prior to surgery, in addition to cataracts, I had pretty bad astigmatism and mild myopia in both eyes. The results were amazing! With only the first eye done (which was my dominant eye), I could see close to 20/20 from about 5 ft. to infinity. Only got better when second eye was done. I can now drive without glasses - which I have never been able to do, since I’ve worn glasses since high school. I use drugstore multifocus cheaters (I.e., cheap progressives) for reading and computer work. The surgeries were painless, and Dr. Paveloff’s staff were very professional. I highly recommend Dr. Paveloff.

Jeff has been my stylist for almost 20 years. I have short, difficult hair which he cuts and colors every six weeks. The color always looks natural and the cut is very precise. Jeff will take whatever time is necessary to get it right. The resulting hair style can be a little edgy (by design) but always looks professional when necessary. Jeff is a keen student of the discipline and keeps up and learns new products, techniques, etc. Besides the superior cosmetology skills Jeff has a wide-ranging intellect and it’s a pleasure to talk to him during my visits. I was thrilled when he and his wife Nada opened their own salon, which is right downtown. Going there is always a pleasant experience.

Chino was amazing! I recently moved up the street from Magnolia Shopping Center, and this was my very first time trying Magnolia Barbershop. I’ve been going to the same barber for almost two decades, so I’m extremely picky and hesitant when it comes to haircuts. But since this spot was within walking distance, I decided to give it a shot.
From the moment I walked in, Chino made me feel welcomed. He asked all the right questions, and it honestly felt like I’d been coming there for years. The atmosphere in the shop is great, too.
Most importantly, I love my haircut. I’ve been told by other barbers that my hair is difficult to work with because of the texture and the couple of hair swirls on the sides that make fading and styling tricky. Not for Chino. His experience definitely showed, and he absolutely did his thing.
I just finished styling my hair at home, and it already feels like I’ve been going to him for a long time. I’ll definitely be back!

I was in a situation where my go to barber wasn’t available and I needed a haircut for a big day. I’m telling you this is one of the most best fades that I ever had. Shout out to this barbershop for doing a good job. I can’t remember the name of the guy who cut me up, but I’m proud of you buddy. Also, this barbershop has the best price in all of Santa Barbara. I’m surprised they even charge this low for a great haircut.
Been going here for a while now, music and vibes are great. My old barber left but Daniel took me in on short notice and I've been a regular since. His attention to detail is really good and always adheres to requests and delivers. The owner always greets everyone that comes in and it is a very inviting atmosphere.
Followed Israel from Carrillo Street Barbers. He gives a great, clean haircut and is always nice to chat with. Scheduling is easy to do online. Mobile payment is also a nice feature. Location in La Arcada Plaza is beautiful. Parking garage right next door is a plus!

I’ve never had a better spray tan or waxing! Being a natural redhead I’ve always been on the paler side. Every single time I’ve had a tan done at Honeys they go beyond my expectations. Sometimes I just want a natural looking tan and a few times I’ve went super dark just for the fun of it, and I’m always extremely satisfied. I’ve never left feeling over saturated or blotchy.
My eye brows are always on point after a fresh wax and tint. I’ve also gotten laminated brows and they were fun and looked great, just not my personal style to keep up on them. The tint and wax are definitely my go to and I wouldn’t want it done anywhere else!
It’s no wonder they have earned the title Best of Santa Barbara!

I came in on a Saturday, 5/31/25, I called before to make an appointment as I saw that it’s a small place and well liked by locals, for a gel pedicure. I was attended to right away and my first impression of the salon was that it was super clean and organized which is a big thing for me. The removal of gel on my toes was gentle- it felt like an old school pedicure with no harsh drills removing the gel or cuticles. The lady who did my nails was gentle and took her time with the entire process. Truly a relaxing experience/pedicure which I have not had with other salons in the area AND my toes look and feel fabulous.
The entire family run crew is amazing. They are easy going, attentive and professional. I’m so happy I found this place.

for the mid afternoon which I would recommend, so there would be no wait. Minh was friendly, considerate and an experienced professional and provided nails that were just the way I like it. Great experience at this longstanding, fanily run place and I appreciated the fair price for the quality of work. I will return when I get the chance to visit Goleta again.
My mom and I had a wonderful experience here. They are sanitary, have beautiful colors including Zoya polishes (I had 'hunter' green) and take great care with your nails. We hope to be back again!

Had such a nice experience with a mani pedi here! They were so friendly and helpful with color suggestions. I decided to get gel ‘cat eye’ nails with Helen, which came out so beautiful! ? I loved that she showed me two different options “moon” and “diamond.” I got “diamond” as an accent with moon on the other fingers. So fun!
The pedicure with Vu was so relaxing. He gave a very nice massage as well. And the added sparkle layer made the pedicure really nice for open toe shoes. With the champagne they provided, it really felt like a treat. ??

Esme is super fast and gentle on my hands, and the nicest—I always enjoy my visit. The salon is clean and so cute, and is connected to Fern + Flair boutique which has retail and beauty products.
The Nail Nook is a total hidden gem in San Roque that is by far the best place to get a manicure in town.

I have received facials from Denise since 2015, before she opened her private business and provided her amazing services in a salon. I followed her business in 2017 when she opened her studio, as she is by far the best esthetician I have been to. This week, I am turning 23 and extremely happy with my skin. I used to struggle with cystic acne during my teenage and young adulthood years. Denise taught me how to prevent acne scars, calm my face, and protect myself from severe breakouts. Now, after using Accutane (I chose this treatment as cystic acne began to prevent good sleep), I only get hormonal breakouts a maximum of once a month, and I have suffered VERY minimal scarring! She is extremely well-educated in skincare and the science behind the skin microbiome and what it needs to glow! I 100% recommend Denise!!

This review is long overdue. I went to Glamour Laser Skin Center for a laser treatment 7 months ago & went in again for my 1st botox treatment about 2 months ago... My job requires me to travel once every couple of months and I was due for a laser treatment when I found myself in Santa Barbara. A couple of phone calls to find this wonderful place & a consultation later- they fit me in. I got my arms, underarms and upper lip done. Oh were they in need. The staff was so friendly & it was such a great atmosphere I wished I could make it my regular spot..... So I thanked them, dded then to my instagram page & said I'd visit the next time I was in town. Back in L.A I kept seeing them post on I.G and followed them.... Then I saw THE post. The post showing pictures of their new nurse with A list celebrities she had treated. Being as I was set to go to S.B for work the next month guess what I did? yes ! Called & booked my FIRST ! Yes FIRST Botox treatment. Here I am 2 months later & I still cant get over the difference it has made. Not only do I look AmazinG , my self confidence is thru the Roof! Thank You GLSC.... I received a gift card for Treat & made an appointment for a facial. Jamie was the technician & she was fabulous. Everything used smelled great, and she did some lymphatic drainage that felt wonderful. The spa itself is beautiful and rooms are private and quiet for your service. Absolutely no complaints about service, atmosphere, or value. However, the prices were on a card that came with the gift card; on their website; and under glass at the front desk but I was charged more than advertised. When I asked why, I was told the prices had increased. I was surprised and paid the new price and recalculated the tip based on the new price. I believe if your prices change, your website, anything with prices printed on it, and anything posted on the premises should all be updated immediately when the new prices go into effect. Also, when checking in, it should be mentioned that the prices have increased. I did not think the person at the front desk was professional about the price change at all and looking back I should have politely insisted on paying the advertised price.

I’ve had several massages at Little Rainbow with various excellent therapists—except for a couple of times when I had someone who definitely lacked sufficient training. However, last week I had Alice, and I will definitely book with her for my next visit. I got a combo treatment, and the foot massage was excellent—she applied exactly the right pressure to the points that needed it, as she did with the body massage. Most importantly, she kept checking to ensure the pressure was right for me. Thanks, Alice!
Better than e expected based on reviews. Hubby and I did 30 min foot massages. One weird part is that the foot massages are done in a common area with six beds. There is also a dog that runs loose. Massage was well priced. I’d say it’s a win.
I cannot recommend the NV Glam team enough! Lucy did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and she was absolutely incredible. I was a little nervous because I don’t usually wear much makeup and really wanted to look like myself. Lucy listened so carefully to everything I was hoping for and absolutely nailed it. I hired TEAM Hair and Makeup after a couple of friends had great experiences, and they truly lived up to the recommendation. While they are the more luxury pick price‑wise, it was worth every penny for their organization and attention to detail. Before my trial, they sent multiple preparation forms that made everything feel seamless. I was paired with Karina, who was patient, easygoing, and incredibly detail‑oriented. Mar also offered insight into my look, and together they created such a fun, supportive environment that made me feel confident heading into my wedding day.
They took all my feedback for the day‑of look and were so attentive. I loved that they sent a full schedule a week before the wedding, complete with assigned time slots for everyone getting hair and makeup. It made coordinating so simple and saved me from being the “bad guy” assigning a 7am slot.
On the wedding morning, the front desk sent them to the wrong building, which caused a delay, but they handled it with total professionalism. Karina spent so much time making sure I felt comfortable and relaxed, and it made the morning feel calm and pampered. I loved my hair and makeup.

Jon and Chris are breaking the stereotypes of tattoo shops - they truly are cool dudes with welcoming vibes. We aren't from the area but messaged Jon a week before our trip down here about getting small custom pieces, and he was super responsive, drew something up for us, and nailed it! Gentle tattoer, good artist and even better, just a good guy. All around one of my favorite tattoo experiences ever and I have been fortunate to get tattoers from all over the world!
An amazing experience. Tomac is an incredibly talented tattoo artist and just an all round great guy. His studio is very cool - very chilled and relaxed place to be. Tomac takes lots of time to help you really perfect the design and make sure you it’s set up right. He is equally great at listening to your preferences but also suggesting recommendations or advice. Preston does very careful plumbing work and really pays attention to the details. He has the experience to find tough sewer and water line issues, and he uses quality equipment, including a sewer scope camera, to diagnose problems the right way. He replaced a long section of lateral sewer line, installed an outdoor shower, and ran a new water line to a future shed. The job also required digging a long trench through a tight area with existing pipes and utility lines, and he handled it smoothly. Not many plumbers can take on a project this complex, but Preston did an excellent job from start to finish. He kept the work area organized, restored everything neatly when the plumbing work was done, and treated the property with real care and respect. The whole experience was professional, efficient, and high quality. I would gladly use this plumber again for any sewer, water line, or outdoor plumbing project.

My very large free standing bath tub would not empty completely. Several plumbers tried and couldn't find the problem. But, Nick found a defect in the original installation. He and my contractor, Lindsey Adams, together, repeatedly lifted this very heavy tub while repairing the drain connection and totally fixed the problem.

Power Electric was the electrician for the solar installation on our house. They also installed our "critical needs" box and panel and the wiring was clean and well labeled. We have an old house and while replacing outlets I got some strange readings and decided it best to get someone who knows what they are doing. Power sent out Ben and he did a great job sorting through fifty year old wiring and making it work correctly. While here he also fixed an issue we had with our furnace and AC. He was professional and cleaned up after completing the work.

I stopped into Gold Coast Locksmith to see if they could program my 2004 Toyota Sienna key fob replacement, because the old one died, and to make a door lock key. I did not have a door lock key so Ava had to use the VIN from the vehicle. She got all the necessary information from me and within a short period of time she had programmed the key fob and cut two new door lock keys for me. To top it all off the cost was under $100. The cost for Toyota to do it is more in the $350 range. Ava is my HERO! And, the shop was the cleanest most orderly lock shop I have ever been in. Wow!

I have been purchasing the liquid concentrate cleaner for several years now. I use it to clean my wall to wall carpet and also area rugs with my carpet cleaner machine. Nothing cleans better! It gets all the dirt and stains out and doesn't attract new dirt like a lot of cleaners on the market. And the bonus is that it's non-toxic! I also recently started using it as a Grout cleaner on my floor tile and it gets all of the dirt out of the grout.

In September we discovered a water leak under the kitchen sink. It was a mess. A plumber quickly corrected the leak but the damage was done. I called several reclamation and restoration places that service the Santa Barbara area. Some were immediately identified as obviously incompetent and a few showed up to provide estimates. The estimates were all over the place and made zero sense…except for one company QwikResponse Reclamation.
Arriving on time to assess the situation, JR immediately provided me with confidence they are the right company with his professional manner and approach. He was able to assess the situation and provide a full reclamation and repair quotation within a day. Half of our kitchen cabinets were destroyed and drywall had to be replaced. A scary proposition for a homeowner. Sadly insurance would not cover this problem (that’s a whole sorted story) but JR provided a thorough quotation I thought was reasonable given the work required and he gave us confidence no over runs would occur. Best of all: ALL work is done in house. No trades are outsourced!! Wow.
Once we started the work in October each crew of professional trades responsible for the specific tasks were on time, polite, professional, and did exactly what was described in the quote. At the end of each day I was given a progress report and told what would be happening next. Upon completion everything looked and worked as it was before the problem occurred. From start to completion the whole process took about 7 days. Absolutely amazing service.

Daniel and his team completely transformed our 1.25-acre foothill property in Santa Barbara. As the daughter of Santa Barbara’s own Grant Castleberg, creator of Alice Keck Park Garden (and many other things), I came into our home project with plenty of ideas, opinions, and high expectations, and Daniel exceeded every one of them.
Like any major landscape construction project, there were unexpected challenges. The biggest came during a record rainfall when we rediscovered a seasonal creek running through our property. Instead of treating it as a problem, Daniel saw it as an opportunity. He designed and built three stunning solid-slab stone bridges and transformed the creek into a beautiful, functional feature that now helps irrigate the landscape through deep watering instead of simply creating runoff.

We worked with Lindsey Zero of Silver Leaf Landscapes on a large-scale hardscaping and landscaping project for nearly six months. There were a few unavoidable setbacks and weather events that pushed out our expected finish date, but our outdoor space is beyond what we had imagined, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result.

These guys have been amazing to work with. During the planning stages they came up with ideas that I had never even thought of. They were excellent with communication during the entire process which was helpful since we had pets that we didn't want to escape. They also did little extras like hauling off boxes that we had left over from our move and hanging up our water hose hook that had been laying on the ground. We plan to use them again for future projects as do so more than just turf!

We've been working with Sublime Gardens for over a decade now. We've had them regularly work on 2 properties in that time, and among other things they transformed an ugly dirt patch into a beautiful succulent garden. They also built a retaining wall at the back of a property that was having continual mudslides for decades, directly into a neighboring school. Problem solved, and there property looks beautiful ever since. Excellent communication and expectations management. Diverse skill set and artistic vision. It really doesn't get better!
I have used Valencia twice now and find that they are knowledgeable, competent and friendly. They arrived on time and the prices were reasonable. Our trees are large and require a lot of expertise and navigation. We've used other tree services over the years and like the quality of Valencia the best.

Chris and his crew have been a pleasure to work with. They have pruned both of my more than 100 year old trees: an oak and a bunya bunya. The care that they have shown toward the trees has not only maintained the beauty of the trees but has also been essential in the health of the trees. One unique feature of their service is the ability to diagnose the health of the trees from a climbers perspective. I found this to be especially useful in diagnosing several insect infestations in my oak that were not evident from ground-based inspections.

This company did an excellent job pruning a two story high Eugenia & Ficus hedge. I called 6 different tree trimming companies- most would not touch it because it had was too tall and they didn’t have tall enough ladders or know how. We are close to our neighbors so wanted to keep the hedge two stories tall for privacy. But it had grown even taller so needed a major pruning. Ivan came out right away as advertised. Communication was prompt and his price was reasonable. It was a big job so it wasn’t cheap. Ivan even went above & beyond to get a taller ladder so the guys could safely trim it. I could also easily communicate with his crew for questions and could tell they wanted to do a good job. The hedge is straight on all sides including the top. I will definitely use them again. Highly recommend

Very positive experience! Nick came out the same day I called for the estimate. Compared to the other estimates I received the pricing was fair. He was also able to dispatch a crew the next day, who completed the project very quickly (about 3 hours for something that seemed rather tricky) and cleaned up nicely afterwards.

I've been going to Dr Copeland for a few years to help me with some challenging issues with my teeth. I've had bad experiences with dentists in he past, and Dr Copeland always puts me at ease. I was greeted cheerfully by the front desk ladies upon my arrival. I was met promptly by Nadia who did a very thorough and professional job of taking X-rays and cleaning my teeth. She complimentied me for taking good care of my teeth and gums by flossing every day. Dr Layus checked my X-rays and explained how one tooth might ne slightly decaying.
5/5 stars - no doubt about it. Easily my most pleasant dental visit experience. I went in for a general cleaning and also asked about some cosmetic work (teeth whitening and Maryland Bridge upgrade). Plenty of parking, and I was immediately greeted by 2 of the friendly front desk staff. Adeera quickly brought me in the back and addressed all my questions and concerns throughly. She was very knowledgable and very kind. Katheryn was the hygienist who worked on me. Very efficient and precise skills. She was became a hygienist to help educate people on oral health. She taught me a few new things while having a great conversation. Dr. Loul is awesome. When consulting me on my cosmetic procedures he laid all options on the table for me to decide. We’ve had the privilege of being patients of Dr. Santacrose since he started at Children’s Medical. From newborn checks in the hospital, circumcisions, yearly check ins, telemed calls, ear infections and everything in between you can not find anyone better.
We recently had a scary unknown when our 2 year at the time broke out in a bruise like rash. Dr. Santacrose exhausted every option and asked for multiple other opinions to confirm what he already knew. Luckily, with his help she’s doing well and living a healthy life! He called to check in with us multiple times, during his already hectic day! We’re so grateful for Dr. Santacrose!!

The Goodland Chiropractic team has literally helped me from head to toe! I originally sought help from Dr. Justine Bellefeuille because neck/shoulder pain was making it hard to sleep. Dr. Justine's adjustments fixed me up and her recommendation for a more suitable pillow has been a long term solution to my issue. Since then, Dr. J has also provided relief from wrist pain, lower back pain, and even long term foot pain, which has enabled me to start running again.
Myofascial massage was new to me, but Sophie and Alyssa have provided additional relief when I tried that out.
My weight training and flexibility routines have been enhanced and fine tuned through Dr. Justine's personalized Functional Movement Training. My senior workouts feel more productive now.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Adams for a few sessions now - she is very knowledgeable, and will point out what she’s doing on spine models and pictures she has in the room, and talk you through what’s happening (which I love). Her mix between chiro adjustments, heated scrapers, body work and fancy chiropractic tools that I don’t have a name for get the job done. She’s been able to establish much greater movement in my neck in a very short period of time!

Dr. John Spencer has truly changed my life! The service at Adobe was wonderful. They treated our cat so gently and were able to take care of an issue she had with her infected paws. Luka our cat was dropped of and an hour and a half later they called and we were able to pick her up with meds and a description of options on how to get her to take the meds. I think Adobe Pet Hospital an excellent place for the healing of animals.
Dr. Lynn Lawrence is always so very kind, compassionate, listens well, takes time to examine pets thoroughly and clearly cares for animals. She gives very fair and wise counsel for treatments, never with any aim of self-benefit. St. Francis staff and other veterinarians reflect her care as well.
I just had to have my very elderly cat euthanized. Abbie (one of the techs) and Dr. Harmon were beyond sympathetic and caring. They were absolutely wonderful and made a horrible agonizing decision easier to make. A few days later, his 'aquamains' were ready for me to pick up. (That means they do the cremation in water instead of fire.) They were nicely boxed, and put inside an elegant drawstring bag, and included a certificate of aquamation for my cat and a wooden pendant with his pawprint. I would highly recommend this vet clinic. It's small and homey, not big and impersonal.

As someone who loves birds I was thrilled to finally get a chance to come here! The lobby was like a museum with all different kinds of birds! It’s definitely a special place and must see if you are a bird enthusiast like me! I didn’t even bring my birds…HA I went to go meet birds! I suggest that all bird lovers who come to SB Pet Hospital bring their own feed. The hospital provided me some but I ran out quickly after 6 or 7 feeds. Who needs the discovery channel if you can just go to the waiting room at SB Pet Hospital and get a full experience.

Sol seek has been such a safe place for me to practice. I really was intimidated to take formal classes but wanted to try it out. I took Myah’s burn class and she is truly so welcoming and warm and makes the class feel so approachable for all levels. Her energy is so healing and she’s hilarious. I always leave her class feeling stronger and more confident! I’m now doing classes while pregnant and she went out of her way to get me a wedge pillow to make class more comfortable for me! She’s simply the best.

With its focus on fine-tuning postures, Iyengar yoga, along with Richard’s expert instruction, builds a real sense of bodily awareness and sharpens the mind. You will work, and not in a huffing and puffing music blaring type way, but in a real grounded, introspective way and it will be well worth it. I walk away from a class at the Iyengar Yoga Studio (IYSSB) with a sense of bodily and mental peace and harmony.
IYSSB also has a very inclusive and supportive community that welcomes beginners and people of all types. I have been to most other yoga studios in SB, and IYSSB is the one I recommend.

I don’t often treat myself to massages of this quality, and honestly, it’s usually outside of what I’d normally spend. That said, Brent’s work is truly something special and worth every penny.
I’ve had many massages over the years, and Brent provides some of the best bodywork I’ve ever had. Our session was about 2 hours and beyond just his skill and understanding of massage, he weaves in other elements that make the session feel like much more like an experience than just your run of the mill massage.
He incorporated cupping, aromatherapy, singing bowls, and other techniques that made it feel like i was getting a full body detail .
He’s calm, intentional, grounded, and doesn’t force conversation. He seems very attuned whether you want to chat or simply relax and enjoy the work.
I left feeling deeply relaxed, restored, and genuinely cared for. If you’re looking to spoil yourself and invest in your well being, I can confidently say Brent’s work is worth it. I plan on coming back for more.

She blew everything else out of the water with her depth of expertise of tissue repair and all post surgery rehab for tendons.
