BEST TATTOO SHOP IN SB/VENTURA! Went to this shop after researching basically all shops from Santa Barbara to Ventura. They have the best reviews and I can see why. The shop is clean and professional, and the artists were super down-to-earth; no pretentious vibes. Felt totally welcome here. Their prices are also without a doubt the most reasonable. Unlike other places I got quotes from, here I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of on pricing just because it's Santa Barbara. Enrique (@enriqueillustrates) tattooed me. I got the text "AMOR FATI" in black Times New Roman on my left arm. (Full phrase was 6" long; 1" in height; 1mm in thickness/boldness of letters.) If you're looking for text, go to Enrique -- but honestly, I'd say go to him for anything. His line work and shading were so clean! My go-to tattoo artist from now on. Another artist named Brenno (@ressarectink) was also super kind and helpful. The shop is on Instagram under @slang1ng1nk. Such good vibes from this place. 10 OUT OF 10 IN ALL THE WAYS! (P.S. They have a few parking spots in the driveway/lot right beside the shop. Keep an eye out; not easy to notice. They do take walk-ins, but call first. Also, bring cash. You have to pay for the tattoo/piercing in cash. How you tip -- cash or Zelle -- is up to you. But the right answer is cash ;-) )
This is my one and only go to tattoo shop, and my tattoo artist is also my good friend. The quality of my tattoos are always the best and always look really cool. And I would say the vibe of this place is friendly, welcoming, and positive.
Vinny was great!! I was greatly impressed by their high-tech methods of drawing the image I wanted digitally, and printing out the stencil so I could see exactly what it was going to look like. It was a custom tattoo with a lot of meaning for me, and Vinny did a great job of working with the image that I brought in and made it even better! ? And, it was surprisingly fast, pain-free, and inexpensive. Two thumbs up! ??
