Currently visiting family in Santa Barbara after having lived here for 22 years. No matter where I move, it will be tough for any salon to match Studio S.My stylist for multiple years has been Nise Baker. If you want hair that makes everyone on the streets do a double take, she's your girl. People that seek out a well preforming hair stylist are picky with their hair. Fact. I am no different from this crowd, and likely worse. Despite how emotional, picky and confusing I can be about my hair, Nise is receptive and caring. Returned a call even though I hadn't left a message, gave me multiple stylist options and reccomended Vanessa for my short hair, after I explained that I had a very bad cut a few months ago. Vanessa was amazing! She talked me through what exactly I liked, and really knew what she was doing. She did an incredible job and I will be back as long as I am in and around SB. If you have short hair and specific likes, or need someone who's good with pixies and such, Vanessa is incredible. 11/10!!Services: Haircut

I will start off by saying the hairdresser I had been going to at a different salon no showed and I was super upset/disappointed since I made my appointment 3 weeks ago. I called Studio S and I wish I remembered the name of the receptionist because she was super sweet and referred me to Victoria. Victoria immediately knew what wasn't working with my current color/cut situation and I trusted her recommendations from the start. Victoria actually listened to my concerns rather than doing a partial highlight and sending me on my way. She came up with a game plan which made total sense after her explanation.
