“Have not had much luck in Santa Barbara with dip manicures until I found Glow. Sang was wonderful, she got me an appt the next morning and took great care of me. She carefully filed down around the edges near the cuticle which so many places seem to skip over. She also did a double layer of topcoat which always makes them last longer. Thankful she did the dip topcoat and not the gel one that always ends up peeling off. Richie also gives a great pedicure! I’ll definitely be back next time I am in town.“

“We were looking for a nail salon open on Sunday to get my daughter acrylics for a birthday treat. This was the only salon that had openings a day in advance, so we scheduled for both of us. I got a basic manicure just to celebrate with my daughter.

My daughter and I were each attended by super nice, super skilled nail professionals from this family business. They did not rush and were meticulous in their craft. The young man who did my daughter's acrylics took every care to make sure she got exactly what she wanted. He was so sweet and so thoughtful in his work. My manicure was done by a woman who may have been the owner (?). She was delightful and gave me a perfect manicure.

When I saw the bill, I was shocked at how LOW it was. I don't think there's a more budget-friendly place to get acrylics in Santa Barbara. The downtown salon is spacious and beautiful inside, with a pretty architectural design elements and a gorgeous Santa Barbara ocean-and-sky mural. The rent must be expensive, so I expected prices would be higher. I feel we got an incredible value in every way.

Finally, I'll just say don't typically get manicures because I do too much with my hands for them to last, but miraculously, this manicure is a week old and looks like I just got it today.

I waited to post this review to check how long the nails would last and I have them ok with all gemstones over 3 weeks later. I showed Emily my reference picture which she happily accommodated and followed, she was super kind too. “I came in on a Saturday, 5/31/25, I called before to make an appointment as I saw that it’s a small place and well liked by locals, for a gel pedicure. I was attended to right away and my first impression of the salon was that it was super clean and organized which is a big thing for me. The removal of gel on my toes was gentle- it felt like an old school pedicure with no harsh drills removing the gel or cuticles. The lady who did my nails was gentle and took her time with the entire process.
