Josh has done two of my tattoos and I can't wait to have him do more. The line work on both is so sharp and precise. One of the two tattoos is the initials of my father who passed in March. Definitely my most sentimental and important tattoo and I wouldn't trust anyone other than Josh with it, and I'm glad I did. He fit it perfectly into an odd space and the lines are sharp and bold and perfect. Can't recommend him enough.

James and his crew were great to work with! We suffered storm damage and needed a new roof. From the estimate/ planning phase to completion of the work, everyone we came in contact with from the company was professional and helpful. They answered any questions I had and didn’t leave trash or any mess when they were finished. Their pricing is competitive with other companies, and I feel we made the right choice. Dr. Gharbi was informative, asked me questions and really listened to what I was looking for with my permanent fangs. Start with this: best haircut I’ve had in Austin. (Tori also goes by Victoria) It’s also nice to not be breathing in chemicals for once. I misread the site and thought I was booked with the wrong person and overcharged. Was sort of miffed, left a review, then the owner called and was so nice and explained everything, plus gave me a refund on some services that I didn’t need to be charged for, and she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable that things were good. The nicest people I have ever met and they really didn’t have to be. ❤️

I had the best experience with Zane!!! I had never been to a "real salon" before and was anxiously excited for my appointment. I got some dimensional highlights and a long haircut, and this experience was one of the best/most comfortable experiences I've ever had with a hairstylist. Firstly, the salon itself is so warm and welcoming. You never feel out of place and everyone I interacted with is so incredibly kind. The seats are also very comfortable. Zane was extremely knowledgeable and happily answered all of my questions. It made me absolutely confident that they knew what they were doing and I loved learning more about haircare/coloring/styling. Truly an artist AND chemist haha! They also were super precise and constantly made sure that I was comfortable with what they were doing and I liked it! They were even sweet enough to schedule a follow-up appointment to make some color adjustments after we were done because I was so indecisive and didn't truly know what I wanted until after I saw the end product and realized I wanted more highlights than I initially asked for. Zane also continued to answer my questions after my appointment was over when I was figuring out what color-safe products to use. I'm telling y'all, Zane is SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. The prices were also super fair and Zane made sure to break everything down for me, so I knew exactly what I was paying for and made sure I was comfortable before we started the process. Absolutely no scamming here! I will 100% be returning to Zane specifically for touch-ups and additional cuts. I truly recommend Zane at the Craig Piatti Salon to anyone in Austin looking for a fresh cut or some creative colors!

I stumbled across Short Hair Company when my longtime stylist, Christina, started cutting hair there. Let me tell you, it’s been a great experience. I knew they had the talent with Christina cutting hair there, but after my first time going to SHC I understood. All the staff that work there are cool and welcoming and the shop itself is such a vibe! It’s a convenient location off South Congress and they’ve got all the amenities. I’m happy I found this place. I initially came to Little Barber due to its proximity to the UT Austin campus, but even after leaving the campus area, I still come back. Dan always gives me exactly what I want, and I have never left the shop anything less than extremely satisfied. Being a barber is an art form, and all of the barbers at Little Barber, especially Dan, are masters of their craft.
I’ve had a few haircuts from this shop, I’m sure all the barbers are good, but Cassy gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years.

Every time I walk out of Sorek, I feel like a million bucks. The walk back to my car is always one with more bounce to my step. That is, if I don't end up with a beer in hand because I've found myself in the heart of East Austin's social scene. Sorek's location is unparalleled.
Upon entry, Jared's familiar face is at the front desk with a handshake out to greet you. He's wearing the clothes he sells because he loves them and believes in them. And in fact, he looks great, luxurious. Rest assured though, there is no sales pitch, just beautiful garments around you’re going to be curious about. For the last two summers, I’ve found myself in nothing but Sorek’s custom-fit shorts.
Politely accept or decline the beverage offer and grab a seat while you wait for your cut to begin. The barbers all run on time and each schedule more than enough for each client. If you're in Jason's chair, expect to make a fast friend and connect with someone that is going to remember your name and how you prefer your grooming.
My wife made an appointment for me with Sorek in 2021 when I decided it was time to let the rest of my fading flow go, and it was time to enter a new era of mid-skin fades and sharp lines. The guys made me feel comfortable with the uncomfortable, helped me laugh at myself a little by assuring me how common this is, and then got to work. When I went home, well, my wife still talks about how good I looked that day. Two years later, Sorek was where I turned for my wedding tux and to get my wedding party and myself looking our best. While I’m reviewing the barber work, the guys’ chairs are usually filled flowing hair that require expert eye and hand. Those gentlemen always leaving looking their best, with the same bounce in their step I feel.
I've had fades and beard trims by most of the guys there; they all have been world-class barbers, but the staff there today is the A-team. I'm sure to schedule my next appointment on the way out the door because demand is high. If you’re new to Austin and want to soak in some of the East-side weirdness, this is a great place to start.

Every at this location has been so friendly and helpful! I was interested in their red light therapy initially and emailed. Response was less than an hr later and full of great details! They use one of the best on the market-Gen 8 PlatinumLED and have both vertical (2 panel) and horizontal (4 panel) set ups. During a visit i asked about the self tanning options and I got a tour of the various machines and details on how they work- i had never done a booth before and felt way more comfortable and confident in giving it a go on my next visit :) highly recommend this location for their great customer service and equipment!

Tried palm beach tanning for the first time snd Sheri, oliver & Brianna were so helpful helping me figure out a package the works with me the best! They have been great with suggesting how to build your base tan safely and protecting my skin with hydrating face serums! Also LOVE the red light therapy, for someone that struggles with acne, my skin and face has never looked better from only 5 sessions!!

I've been here a few times now and I've appreciated the quick service. The majority of the time I've come without a reservation but my group of three was able to be seen quickly and the staff there is very friendly. The first time was just for a pedicure and my feet were in pretty rough condition. After treating myself to their 'organic' pedicure I felt like I had new feet and questioned why I had not made this a regular occurrence. I decided to go for a mani-pedi on my most recent visit and got pressured into getting color for my toes but not for my hands. I was told that I'd get the 'movie star' treatment for my fingers and definitely got them buffed and smoothed out, so much so that it didn't feel like my own fingers. My second organic pedicure went just as well but with the added color but it dried quickly. This was my first time getting color but honestly? I like it and when, not if I go back to get a pedicure I'll get color again.
Listen. Do you want excellent customer service and great nails in the end? Queen Spa is the place. This was my second visit, and I got a pedicure, manicure, and my eyebrows waxed. The pedicure was relaxing and amazing, my manicure was on point, and they did a great job on my eyebrows. My daughter also got a manicure, and they did a wonderful job! One of the most important aspects of the experience was the cost. We were given a price upfront, and that was the price they gave us at checkout. We have had a negative at a nail salon in the city where they quote one price when we arrive, then they keep tacking on things they need to do and then the price triples in the end. We had a wonderful experience at Queen Spa! Highly recommend.

There are free drinks and the Vietnamese coffee was delicious. My lady, Layla (not sure on spelling) was amazing. She was patient with me as I selected a color. Mary Kate asked me questions to get to know my skin, preferences, and priorities, and delivered a deeply relaxing facial that has me glowing days later. Had an amazing experience with Mary from Sabi brow & beauty. It was my first lash lift and tint and I didn't know what to expect, the Sabi brow and beauty team was super knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable before during and after the service, not to mention my lashes look insane! I haven't had to wear mascara since and it has been incredible! The establishment itself is super cute and cozy, not huge but very clean and multiple chairs for several folks to receive services at the same time. Will definitely be coming back to try out some of the other services like the brow threading!

I went from girl next door to alternative icon and it was exactly what I wanted. Maran listened and adapted when the cut didn’t feel right.When I tell you it was so refreshing after being through 3 previous stylists and resorting to cutting my own hair, my hair reveal was a cool drink of water in this Texas heat.

I've been to European Wax Center and other chains before, and the difference in quality and thoroughness Angie at Blush provided was outrageous (and for a very reasonable price).

I've been meaning to write this for a while, and was reminded when I thought about booking my next facial this morning.I'm 27 and have struggled with hormonal acne since I was a teenager. I've thrown absolutely everything at it and nothing has worked. Tara was the first person to ever give me *instructions, on paper* of the different products I should use and in what order, morning and night, for my skin. She gave me a bunch of samples to try after my first WONDERFUL facial, and my skin has been so much better for it. I was mixing BHA and retinol (gasp!) before Tara gently explained the purposes of both, and that I was actually making my skin worse by stripping it. She adjusted my services as needed to make sure I looked great for an event the next day, and only charged me for what she did, not what I initially scheduled. She was so gentle and kind and I really enjoyed talking to her throughout the process. I've seen her twice now, and am planning to go back again soon. She works out of her home, and has done an AMAZING job making the space professional, sterile, and SO cozy and comfortable. I almost fell asleep towards the end! Tara is amazing and I can't recommend her services enough.

I’m kind of a low maintenance gal when it comes to beauty services. I’ve had a few lash lifts here and there because sometimes I want to pamper myself. The only times I’ve been truly thrilled with my end results are when Megan does them! She is so easy to talk to, confident at what she does, and gentle. I pretty much just get lash lifts 1-2 times a year for a little pick me up around the holidays and my birthday and it’s always with Megan at Betty Lash. Tried to unclog the kitchen sink for 3 days before calling for help. Moore & More was able to make it out to me the same day luckily and they were professional from the beginning. They communicate well, and when Josh was here he was equally awesome. We're pretty sensitive to keeping the house clean and Josh did great putting on and off his shoe covers going in and out of the house. Best part was that we had a leaky faucet outside and he quoted a price for the repair and got it finished - the cool part was that he realized the faucet didn't need to be replaced and didn't charge us extra for it. When I bought my house in 1999, I hadn't heard anything at all about the dangers of Federal Pacific breaker panels. Friends told me to look into it a few years ago, and I've been concerned but too broke to do anything about it. When I recently got a fantastic deal on a new panel at Lowe's, I then just needed to have it installed.
It's difficult to find someone to install a panel provided by the customer, but A-One Electric was cool with it. Karen came to my house and sized up the situation and gave me a great quote. Once the city inspector was available, Karen and her apprentice came and knocked everything out in a morning -- including the balance of stuff that was needed to bring us up to code.
Karen and her crew were prompt, professional, expert, and super nice. And affordable. My home is safe, and I'm headed into the cool season with no worries about that panel. For a reasonable price, I got my home upgraded and the peace of mind that goes with it. Thanks, Karen!

They did an amazing job on our 3 wool/viscose area rugs and 3 Turkish runners. Our large area wool rug had doggie stains that we just could not get out. Wool and viscose rugs are hard to clean. Tim managed to get the stains out beautifully. The Turkish rugs are brighter and look like new. Great job! The cost was a bit higher, but with door to door service and excellent results - it was worth it. They even move furniture and roll them up and package them for you. And they were returned back cleaned when he said they would be too.

Having our downstairs floor get ruined by a water leak was quite an ordeal, dealing with insurance and several contractors. The easiest part about it was working with Derek and the H&H team (which is funny because the floor was the biggest/most important job). He was patient while we worked out what fit our budget. He was professional at every step and had our best interests at heart, helping us to convince insurance to cover what they were supposed to (e.g., living expenses while we were out of the house). Probably one of the best home improvements I have done. This process was simple, there was no marketing/sales pressure, and it was just quality workmanship. Had a 1 car garage done in a day and it's been over 1 year, still looks amazing. I got several estimates around town and Garage Living was on top. Not only that, but they have a showroom so you can see exactly what you are getting into.

Matt Garcia and his crew, led by Manuel, installed my hardwood floors 2 years ago and did an amazing job. Recently, my water heater in the attic leaked and the bathroom below it had to have the ceiling cut out and door and wall to hall removed. Also, the bedrooms on either side needed some of the hardwood removed. The remediation company cut the hardwood squarely and I was not sure if it would ever be able to look the same after the water damage. But it came out perfectly, and one would never know that any damage had occurred! The crew made sure it had the same staggered look, and they put the baseboards and new shoe molding back too! Luckily, I had a few boxes of wood left over from the initial install. It was the same crew from two years ago and they are hard-working craftsman. They also cleaned up everything perfectly and Matt gave me an excellent price for the large repair job. I highly recommend Austin Hardwood Flooring, thank you SO much Matt and crew!

We had a large whole home renovation that needed to be done. We added a 10x16 office, whole kitchen update, and both main and secondary bathrooms fully redone. We also redid all the insulation in the exterior walls. After interviewing multiple whole home renovation companies, we went with Teamwork Home Designs. Our project managers Shaked and Anton were fantastic. They were in constant communication, walking us through everything they were doing. With any renovations, there are always surprises, and we ran across 2. Shaked and Anton took care of the surprises with minimal delays. A renovation this large is going to be stressful, but overall I was at a 3 out 10 for most of the renovation because the project managers were always on top of everything. I highly recommend Teamwork Home Designs, and especially Shaked and Anton if you can get them as your project managers.

On a Thursday evening we noticed a huge swarm of hundreds of bees flying into a hollow space of our roof. Our only regret is that we didn’t call Synthetic Grass ATX sooner. We have a small yard area where grass wouldn’t grow due to tree cover so it basically became a mud pit. This turf is amazing, looks great, and is super soft and easy to maintain. Madison was extremely helpful and walked us through all the options. They were able to get us bumped up in the schedule and had it knocked out in a few hours. The crew were all super friendly, showed up on time, and did a great job. This is perfect for our two little kids and our dog. Just wish we would have pulled the trigger a year ago when we started talking about it!
When we first moved in, our backyard was just grass and weeds — nothing special, just another new-build lot waiting for some life. We hired Southern Love Landscaping to design and install an outdoor kitchen and full landscape using only Texas native plants and trees.
From day one, these guys were awesome. The crew showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and treated our property like it was their own. They worked hard, paid attention to detail, and wrapped up right on schedule — which is almost unheard of in construction.
We did run into a few pricing changes compared to some of the early contractor bids, but honestly, that’s just part of the game. The quality of the work and how it all came together made it more than worth it.
Now the backyard feels like part of Texas — not something dropped in from a catalog. Everything looks natural and well thought out, and the outdoor kitchen turned out even better than we hoped.

James is knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. He came out almost immediately to discuss the best approach for the issues we were having and give me an estimate. He saved a beautiful old live oak for us and his crew did a lot of general tree trimming and a tree removal just a couple days after I called him. It's nice to know I don't have to call around to a bunch of tree companies anymore. I can just call Monarch and get the best service for the best price.
A wonderful job. My trees look fantastic. He even cut down a fig tree that was not on the original quote.
Sid Mourning tree service has been to my home 2 years in a row for regular tree trimming and they have always done a good job at a reasonable price.
For this last time they came for another tree-related job, I was given a reasonable estimate when the estimator came to my home to measure, but due to a miscalculation by the estimator, they mentioned it would cost 3 times as much as quoted when they arrived to actually do the work.
That could have been a showstopper, but I have to praise Sid Mourning tree service because we were able to talk things out, and proceed with the work as planned.
They are a company that have something that fewer and fewer companies these days have: honor.
They honored their original estimate, and I really appreciate that about them. They have earned my respect, and they will have my repeat business in the future and personal recommendation to anyone who asks.
They also did a good job: quick work, cleaned up well afterwards, and did not damage anything. No complaints.

We just used Ray for the first time to remove two large trees and it went perfectly and for a great price. Ray was on-site the entire time working alongside his crew, who worked very hard but also safely. He’s an arborist and insured and you shouldn’t accept anything less when dealing with such dangerous work on your property. Thanks, Ray!
Big G's Tree Service responded promptly when we needed a very large tree removed and others trimmed back around our house. They showed up when they said they would, did quality work and hauled everything off. The price was reasona le and we're happy with the results.

I have never left a review on Facebook before but I want to call out the great service TTA provided! I contacted them this spring, and I am so glad I did! From the start, the consultation and communication with Travis throughout the process was great, and I really appreciate all of the time he spent with me. I also communicated via email with Andrew a lot with scheduling. The team that came out removed 1 tree (great crew) + stump removal / grinding (Alex was quick), planted 4 new trees (great crew), and pruned another in our yard (Gabe was super nice, easy to work with). After the planting, I had a few questions about our trees and they had Alex come out who answered all of my questions as well. I highly recommend working with them! There are “bigger, more corporate companies” in Austin but I’d rather go with a local company any day with such knowledge. Thanks everyone for your help this spring!
We have been using Full Canopy for 10+ years and highly recommend them. We live in NW Hills and would not trust the care of our Oak trees to anyone else. During the recent rain BOMB, we had minimal oak breakage because of their maintenance. So many bogus tree companies with bot generated reviews. Don't be fooled! Full Canopy is a reliable, licensed and honest company.

We love Restora Dental Arts. Dr. Culotta is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. We actually saw her for airway/oral functioning related needs and then switched to her for our kiddos cleanings as well. We appreciate how she takes her time with our kiddos and actually talks to them just as much as she does to us so that they know what is going on and that they have autonomy in their care for their bodies. All other staff we have interacted with are so welcoming and positive as well.

I came for a regular exam/cleaning and TMJ assessment. In the past, other dentists haven’t really listened to my TMJ issues. Mia the dental hygienist and Shane the dentist are both very nice and helpful. They gave me a thorough cleaning and TMJ exam, and they both took a lot of time to educate me on findings and different options. They seem to really care about their patients and are very passionate about what they do. Best dental experience I have had since I can remember. Highly recommend!

Dr. Garza was my pediatrician from the time I left the NICU at eight weeks old until I turned 18. While I can’t personally recall my earliest experiences with her, my parents clearly believed she provided the best care possible—not just for me, but also for my twin brother and older brother.
For as long as I can remember, Dr. Garza has been someone I felt safe around. Whether it was getting vaccines at 10 or navigating a rough patch in my teenage years, she was always trustworthy, empathetic, and supportive. Her calming demeanor, natural charisma, and soothing cadence are qualities I’ve never encountered in another doctor.
But don’t mistake my praise for her bedside manner as the only reason I admire her. Dr. Garza took a deeply personal approach to my care. With an extensive knowledge of my medical history—so detailed it seemed as if she had my chart memorized—she always made well-informed decisions. Her recommendations reflected best practices and the latest advancements in medicine. She also had an excellent network of specialists, to whom she referred me multiple times when needed.
I should also mention that her staff was just as exceptional. They recognized me instantly and often remembered more details about me than I did.
And of course, I’ll never forget her signature phrase:
“Let me wash my hands so I don’t spread any germs!”

This was a great experience. Dr. Aaron is an amazing dr and definitely knows what he's doing. The best part is when he explains to you why you're in pain and or injured. He puts it in terms that you understand what is going on with your body and the actions of it which caused the injury. Then runs through your treatment plan with you. I went in due to pain in my groin area from playing soccer. Thought it was a groin injury, but instead found out it's because of my hamstring and abductor rubbing into each other because they're overcompensating from my weak medial Glute muscle(The muscle that's right above your glute).I will admit I was skeptical at first but then after my 2nd visit, and of course my physical therapy home sessions, I started seeing big improvements. I'm now back to my self again on the pitch and that's thanks to Dr. Aaron, the physical therapy team (Lou and Drea). Thank you all so much for getting me back to it and for future strengthening advices.

We’ve been using Park and Bark for about 3 years now. My dog is 9, picky about people and used to be really anxious about the groomer, but when she sees Ramon (or his van), she runs right to him! I love how caring they are with my dog, how wonderful she smells afterwards and how quickly she is able to be groomed right outside my house. They’re always on time and it’s such an easy and low stress experience for both me and my dog. If you’re thinking about booking them for your dog, you won’t be disappointed!
We love Austin Pet Stylist, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, kind and top quality groomer. Their prices are reasonable, their communication is great and the salon is a welcoming, inclusive place. We have brought two Pomeranians here (one with coat issues, and one who is a bit of a handful) and have received the best care.
Pomeranians are a notoriously hard breed to groom, due to their double coat, and if not groomed and cared for correctly, they can actually lose their fur. I spent a lot of time researching groomers in Austin, and felt very lucky to get in with Jade. We actually live about a hour away, and make a morning out of grooming every month.
Not only does Jade give the best cuts, but she is passionate about animals and even teaches a pet CPR class. Jade, Brittany and the rest of the staff have helped me learn a lot about Pomeranian care, products and well being over the past two years, and we are so fortunate to have them as our groomers!
Xavier is AWESOME! Took in my Shepherd and he did an AMAZING job for a reasonable price. Booked her next session before I left.

Took my Pomsky here for the first time this morning. He's tricky to groom, but they did a great job and I'm happy with how he looks. We will definitely be back.
I got both of my cats bathed and groomed and it was such an easy experience! Very clean salon. The house is so fun and decorated. They have snacks and drinks. You can swim in their pool or workout in their gym while you wait for your cat. They also have a very sweet kitty you might see laying around the property. Huge land to walk around and chill on a hammock or swinging chairs. You can also bring your laptop and work in the zoom room which has a door that slides shut as needed. Great photo opportunities. You can also sit on the couch and watch Netflix or listen to music. Truly a whole experience for both you and your kitty. I was so thankful she helped my cat feel much better and cleaned areas I didn’t know needed cleaning. My cat had dandruff from grooming herself too much and now her fur looks more healthy and shiny. No issues with either cat. She knows what she’s doing and she’s very certified! Wouldn’t recommend anyone else. It was well worth the hour drive! Will be going back for regular groomings.

Been taking my dog Marley for awhile now and he loves it! He is a pretty anxious dog and is hesitant around others but he is excited to go see his groomers. They are very communicative and patient. LETS RAISE THE WOOF! While getting ready for the holiday, my mom's dog needed a hair cut. He looked very shabby. You can see below I posted before and after pictures of his hair cut. The services provided here are great. All of the people we came into contact with are lovely and have a wonderful bedside manner. They ask about how you want your pup to look and any other service you may or may not need provided. Ear cleaning, nails cut etc. I came inside the shop yesterday since I needed to grab some toys and treats for our fur baby. Luckily, Woof Gang is a very easy walk from where my mother lives. The shop itself is adorable. From a very modern looking exterior with very neat and cute signage. Inside is even cuter. With bubblegum pink walls and all sorts of toys, treats and biscuits you are for sure going to find something for your fur babies inside. All of the cookies and cakes are made in house and have the cutest sayings on them. I went a little wild inside getting my pup some amazing treats, toys and things for Christmas. He is a member of the family too and I was so happy to be able to find him all the toys and things he will love for years to come. Pro tip: if you pay in cash at this shop you will receive 10% off your purchases. This is a great incentive to provide. As not too many people carry/use cash anymore these days but for those that do, you will receive a discount.
I took up Yoga late in life and have found it to be one of the best things I can do for my body and spirit. The classes I’ve attended at Flow Yoga, lead by the amazing Angie Knight are something I always look forward to! Her calm approach and open spirit are inspirational! The Yoga retreat Angie recently led in beautiful Costa Rica was unforgettable!
I've been going to Lizard Yoga to use the contrast therapy and got a few massages. I've always had a wonderful experience and leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. The contrast rooms are private, so you don't have to worry about using a swimsuit and can jump back and forth between the sauna and cold tub as much as you want. The rooms are always clean, stocked with towels, and have cold mint towels available. I highly recommend trying Lizard Yoga for contrast therapy if you haven't tried it before, or if you've done similar therapy at other locations in Austin. It's top notch!

I have been teaching at Your Yoga for 6 years (bias alert), and absolutely love it. Our community of yogis is wonderful, engaged, curious, and real. The diversity of teachers and styles of yoga is a treat, and the emphasis on functional movement is what really sets us apart. We move and breathe together, laugh and cry together, and move forward in this thing called life with increasing levels of ease and strength of both body and mind. It may not be for everyone, but it's worth a try. It may become your yoga home!
Shakti is a small, intimate studio and my favorite of any studio in which I have studied. Although all the instructors are skilled and attentive, Mariana’s Gentle Yoga class has been especially useful and my grandsons look forward to it.
One of my fav studios in Austin for a session that is gentle and relaxing. The atmosphere is beautiful and pleasing. And the teachers are always sweet. My only complaint is that I wish there were more of them in Austin!
Took a sculpt and flow class for the first time with brooke and it was amazing. I was a bit scared at first because i don’t usually do a full body workout. she was walked us through all the workouts and a took a few minutes to cool down too. overall it was very relaxing and a good workout. i don’t think ill be able to feel my legs tomorrow.
Best massage therapy I have had in my life. Chronic back pain is gone and have worked through a bunch of other pain issues. 10/10

I saw Caroline steadily for a few years to help support both chronic body issues due to my job and a healthier relationship with food and my body due to a long standing history of disordered eating. True Mysore Shala in Austin! The teachers Andrew and Déjà are amazing! This practice is traditional so take into consideration that it's a self-practice and your teacher gives you new poses once they feel you're ready (and have overcome/mastered your last challenge posture). This place is so amazing. I really love it here! I started going after I injured my knee and I was able to build muscle strength back. Since then, I've been to so many of the different classes with different instructors and I love them all. I frequent the flows, but have done the Powerformer courses in the past. The integration of the TRX bands and the Pilates tower adds really great variety to get great workouts and keep your body strong and flexible!

Pure Pilates is a wonderful light and airy Pilates studio for my boutique intimate visits for when I'm looking to get my butt kicked for 50 minutes. I'm impressed to see this place is still as beautiful as the day I stopped by when I saw I came back in 2017, and now as a mom who needs to work on her mobility, health and core strength meets posture, this place did not disappoint!
I've met Zilla, who Ally, the owner teaches some sessions on Wednesdays and I can get my doggy cuddles while I am getting my Pilates workout on? Win win! Even better is they're close by my office, which makes it a quick walk over!

Zenergy Pilates is by far one of the best Pilates studios I have ever been to. The teachers are all comprehensively trained instructors with hours of continuing education under their belts. Excellent instruction. The class was fun but still extremely challenging. Total Body Express is a very efficient workout. 45 minutes and you get it all done!
I went to my first Pure Pilates class with ClassPass and enjoyed my experience! It's definitely more of a lagree-style class with the megaformer as opposed to the typical pilates reformer but I enjoy both styles so this wasn't an issue for me. Class: I really liked the instructor! She was very attentive and helpful when it came to form corrections. The class felt very quick but we covered quite a bit of exercises even though we only had 45 minutes. If you're a beginner I would suggest asking for a rundown of the machine and general exercises prior to the start of class. Studio: The space is very bright and has a good amount of mirrors so you can easily check your form. There are cubbies at the entrance to store your stuff. Parking: There's a parking garage attached to the building that's free for three hours.
The instructors at Pilates Club East are all very experienced, as is easily seen by reading their bio’s on the Pilates Club app, and based on my experience attending classes with Ala, Keeley, Eric, Veniese, Sara and Annalise over the last ten months. Their styles of instructing varies and they each change up their workouts from class to class. The variety keeps it interesting and provides a well rounded workout. I go about 3 x’s a week and do two flow classes and one cardio. I do have favorite instructors, but find them all more then competent.
Based on previous reviews, I’m guessing that before I started going there either their website lacked bio’s or they had less experienced instructors. That’s not the case now. It’s a relatively new business and perhaps there were some growing pains.
Both Beth and Marcus, who work up front, are very helpful.
A pro tip is that they are currently offering a discount on the class price for purchasing multiple classes, but the discounted price isn’t shown on the app, you need to either buy it at the studio or call them and buy it over the phone.

Sandra at Mantis Massage is AMAZING!!! The vibes in the room are always top notch and she uses pressure points / all kinds of special techniques to get to the root of whatever is ailing you. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and the staff is super accommodating to all guests. I’ve been several times and have no plans to stop going :) You get $5 off your next massage when you book in person and they have a no tipping policy, so the price you see online is the price you pay.
I had an ashiatsu massage with Bobbie. She was great and it was just what I needed. I was feeling some tightness in my hips and shoulders and left feeling loose and relaxed. I highly recommend her as a therapist. The place was clean and the staff was friendly and professional. It was an overall great experience.

My first deep tissue massage of any sort was a 2 hour Ashiatsu session with Rosalyn today. She was professional, intuitive, personable and incredibly skilled. I highly recommend this experience (and Rosalyn) to anyone who is looking for an incredible massage therapy session.
Working with Julieta at ROOTS Massage & Lymphatic has been one of the most impactful wellness decisions I’ve made. Texas Physical Therapy has been a great resource for an over injury that my son suffered from cross-country this season. From the front desk to the DPT, the practice works awesomely. I've gone to traditional PT for years, but so few physical therapists are familiar with EDS and POTS that I usually end up getting injured in PT instead of getting better.
Working with Jonathan has been life changing. I've spent a year going through the custom treatment plan he created to train my brain and body to use the right muscles for the right tasks. As a result, I've seen massive improvements in my strength, balance, proprioception, stamina, and pain levels.
Even though they don't take insurance, the cost is very reasonable for the quality of care you're getting and it's been a worthwhile investment. I get far more benefit from 30 minutes at PARR PT than weeks at traditional PT.
Jonathan and his team are exceptional, and I can't express how grateful I am for the guidance and tools PARR PT has given me to maintain my health going forward. If you have EDS or POTS and traditional PT has failed you, PARR PT is the way to go.

Evan Johnson is an excellent PT who has gotten me back to normal. I wasn’t sure reaching normal was possible after chemo, surgery and radiation but he developed stretches and exercises that made that possible. He is personable, effective and efficient.
My husband and I have both seen Gina, and the difference in how we feel and move has been remarkable. We’ve learned how to walk and sit with better alignment and awareness—things that seemed simple, but we now realize make a huge difference in how our bodies function day to day.

This was one of the best medical care experiences I have ever had. My therapist, Debra Dobbs listened to my description of the pain I was having, devised a plan of exercises, guided me through performing them and gave me exercises to work on at home. The clinic was clean, well organized, quiet and the equipment was in good shape.

The people are always nice, they push you to achieve your goals WITHOUT over pushing you. They let you take a break when you need to without any grumbling, but encouraging you to do so.

I had some significant neck issues related to aging and a recent fall. Stephen B., my assigned PT, did an excellent job assessing then treating my issues. I was most impressed with the variety of stretching and strengthening exercises used, many of which I could do at home. Very professional. Very capable. I highly recommend Results Physical Therapy at the central Austin location.
Colton provided me with an arsenal of exercises that tremendously helps the pain in my knees, hips and lower back without surgery or pain meds. As a patient and healthcare professional I highly recommend Dr. Maria La Putt. She is compassionate, highly skilled and knowledgeable. I have had back pain to the point of not being able to walk for weeks at a time starting from when I was 17 yr old. No specific injury, I was a competitive athlete and had to stop playing. I went through multiple MRIs that showed bulging, degenerated and herniated discs and inflamed and enlarged nerves. Treatments included steroid injections, traditional PT for years, multiple pain management specialist, chiropractors, and neurosurgeons..surgery was the last resort but at the time I didn't have time for recovery and opted to postpone and did meds and injections instead. It affected my rigorous college and post graduate years. Through my 3 pregnancies I struggled with back pain. All to say that I had bad back pain...there wasn’t a day where I didn’t have back pain, it was part of my life. I finally found Dr. La Putt and she got to the root cause. She took her time to examine and understand what was happening. It was a deep abdominal muscle that was too tight and I overcompensating for pain and weakness which caused pain to worsen with my hypermobility. After 2 sessions I was finally PAIN FREE thanks to Dr. La Putt and her integrative PT techniques! Life changing. I now refer my patients to her who have had great results as well.
I went to SATG for knee replacement therapy. After having a poor experience with a chain PT establishment in the past, I was looking for something smaller and more personal. SATG provided exactly that. I appreciated the one-on-one sessions, as opposed to the 2-3 patients at a time approach used elsewhere. This personal attention made me feel that my treatment was tailored specifically to me rather than just going through the motions.
Kelly was my primary therapist, and she was both thorough and professional. She set goals at the beginning of my treatment and closely tracked my progress. Her encouragement as we approached those goals was greatly appreciated. Kelly explained each exercise and its benefits clearly, which I found valuable as someone who relies on information. She also provided exercises for me to do at home and regularly inquired about my progress or any setbacks during our off time.
I also had a few sessions with Lee, who was equally skilled. SATG keeps detailed records of your progress, ensuring a smooth transition if another therapist needs to take over. Both Kelly and Lee are friendly and kind individuals. I will definitely return to SATG if and when the need arises.
This may be the kindest, most compassionate man I’ve ever met. He always makes me comfortable, even if I’m going through uncomfortable situations. The price can’t be beat, and this is probably the best acupuncture experience I’ve ever had.

Dianne is the best. I was in hospital for 6 days with fractures everywhere after a bad motocross accident. See treated me and I literally walked out of the room - I could barely walk on the way in. I have been treated by Dr. Jasmine, Dr. Yeni and Warren for over 2 years now and this place is my second home. had the best experience ever at this school,, the staff that i interacted with so far were cool. I took six 1 hour on the road driving lessons and the instructor Danny was always so nice. he cleared up any questions and doubts I had about driving and always made me feel at ease while on the road. he's patient with drivers and remains calm when you make a mistake. explains everything very well, I got stuff right in a few tries. he's also rlly funny that's a plus. DEFINITELY recommended this school especially if you don't know what to do to get your license
