Since moving to the greater CLE area 2 years ago, I’d yet to find a good spot to get my haircut. I’d had the same person take care of my hair for almost a decade before moving here, and it’d been hard to find anywhere where I felt genuinely comfortable, “listened to” in terms of what I wanted for my hair, and checkin in on as the cut progressed. Yesterday I booked an appointment for a cut and a perm at 6th City and it was everything I’d been looking for in a barbershop/salon and more! Kali did my perm and she was a pleasure to work with! She was super consultative, asked great questions, and was very informative in explaining my options and the perming process. Tim and Casey both took care of my cut itself (a drop fade) both before and after the perm. Tim was super precise, talked with me about doing anything different than the reference picture I shared with him, and he worked as a team with Kali to ensure that my hair would be appropriately prepped for her to perm once he was done. Once my perm was complete, Casey finished my cut off and she did an amazing job carving my fade to perfection and blending it into my perm. The shop looks sharp, the staff are so friendly and work as a true team (not just a collection of barbers and stylists just sharing a space), and my hair looked great when I walked out the door! I finally found my CLE spot for my hair, and I’ll definitely be back!

Best Barber Shop I have even been to! Everything was just perfect. The shop is wonderfully decorated, the owner lost his son and there is a wall devoted to him, I meet all 3 barbers and they were so nice. Mags trimmed my beard and shaved my head (Strait Razor). I will defiantly come back if I am even in Cleveland again. It is kind of hard to find. Since it is in a shopping center and I did not see any sign outside at the street. If it had not been for Google Maps. I would have never found it. I also ate next door at the diner and it was great also.
Elaina is the best!! She did my hair for my wedding and she absolutely nailed it. I had a low bun with some wispy pieces to frame it out and everything held up so well. My curls lasted into the next day! She’s really efficient and only took about 30 mins to complete my style.
I also messed up trying to apply fake eyelashes on myself right before I got my hair done and she offered to do them for me! They looked perfect and also lasted into the next day. She truly saved the day for me. I’m so so grateful to Elaina! Best stylist of all time.

Mark is the best, I come here to get my eyebrows waxed and this is the only salon I trust. I have sensitive skin and can develop rashes depending on products used, and I have never had a problem at Lather. Mark is amazing at waxing my brows to a natural, full shape. Really enjoy this shop! Only been twice so far and have been cut by Evan, he gave me exactly the cut I wanted based on the reference pictures I showed him. Everyone in the place is friendly and nice, and I enjoy that the shop isn't too big because large salons can be very overwhelming. If you need a men's style cut go to Evan. Great value, and offers a student discount which is amazing.
The old saying goes, "If you get a bad haircut, just wait 2 weeks." I found this to be totally true, as a bad haircut will only last 2 weeks before it turns into a horrible mess on your head. My haircuts at Gino's start out great and continue to look great even as it grows out

Great staff, super clean place! I’m just curious, if you changed the versa spray formula/solution? The last few times I’ve gotten a versa spray tan, you can’t even tell I got a spray tan and it’s frustrating. I always get level 3 with the bronzing solution added so I look tan immediately. These past 4 times I’ve gotten this done and at a few different locations, it doesn’t even feel like I got sprayed with hardly to any solution and I don’t come out tan immediately like I have in the past. I’ve tried the other spray tan and I don’t like how that turns out on me. So if the formula has changed I would like to know. I’m going to try it one more time and if I’m disappointed in the results like I have been the last few times, then I’ll just have to look elsewhere for my spray tans.

Go to lee! I was referred by a friend. It is hard to come by and find a good nail tech. I came for a pedicure. My feet were in bad shape. He payed attention to detail and did an amazing job all across the board. So happy I found this hidden gem. He’s a wonderful tech! Ahhh! Jess was incredible. My last haircut (not at this salon) was rough, so I haven’t had a cut in 9+ months and was nervous. The service from when you walk in the door to when you leave is great—friendly, providing, comforting, etc. Jess took the time to talk through what I wanted, what would work with my hair texture and face shape, and she went through exactly what she was going to do and how much hair would be cut/trimmed. She was way more an expert about my hair than I was by the time I left. Conversation was great, too! Made sure to schedule my return visit, and looking forward to it!

My experience was very welcoming. Same day appointment. Professional! I requested 2 braiders but, I got 3 braiders that was better . Took 4 hours for my style. No complaints will be back for a tighten up when time. From pics on this site you will think it’s the barbershop on the corner of building but no they are located next door to barbershop. The barbershop sits on the end.
I love coming to Folicle, everybody is always so welcoming and polite. They run a well-oiled machine; I’ve never noticed anyone running late or behind, the place is spotless, and checking in and out and setting appointments is fast and easy.
I come to Kristen, she’s amazing. She styles not just my hair but my mom’s and my sister’s as well. My hair has changed due to medication so she’s adjusted my typical highlight routine to be a bit gentler, and it looks fantastic! Her technique made my roots look intentional when they grew out, and now that we’re keeping the roots at my natural color, the blending between natural and lightened hair looks so. good. One of my hair goals is growing it out nice and long, and Kristen has been incredible with keeping my hair’s health in mind. My ends look healthy, I don’t have any crazy breakage, and never once has my hair gotten fried or over-processed.
She also talked me out of impulsively getting blunt bangs a couple months ago, and thank god she did. They look nice but they’re just not my style. She offered an alternative that’s fun, looks good on me, and is more compatible with how I do my hair at home. If she suggests modifications to the style you have in mind, listen to her!

Although my tattoo hurt like hell (duh!), I had a great experience at Olive Ink! After doing lots of research via Google and Instagram to find the right artist to do my dream cicada tattoo, I came across Shawna's info (@shawnaswagga on Instagram) and immediately knew she was the right person for the job. She does a lot of bird paintings and tattoos which are gorgeous! I'll be honest and say that the email communication was very slow and I didn't know until two days prior that my appointment was confirmed, which was frustrating but everything else was amazing! When I told her my idea, she did 9 line drawings for me to look at and when I chose my favorite, she did 6 different color options. After selecting my favorite, she was more than happy to make the colors a bit more rich to satisfy me. The actual shop is located in Gordon Square area above Blazing Saddles bike shop. It is beautiful, clean, and full of art and plants! Shawna was awesome and my tattoo turned out absolutely gorgeous!
I read so many awesome reviews about the piercer, Joe before I chose to go here for my daith piercing. I went in today to get it done and i must conquer that he is awesome! I was a little nervous when I got there, but he was calm, reassuring and very friendly. I was most impressed by the work station where he does the piercings. Everything is sterile and he is very clean about how he does the procedure. He is definitely very experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled. He also has great customer service. I was so comfortable and pleased with his work that I will be bringing my daughter back to him when its time for her to get pierced and i would recommend him to anyone.
I went in today for a little tattoo and had the best time on my first visit. Such a cool shop and it’s filled to the brim with the most unique items. It’s like a museum I could look around forever. Everybody on staff was very polite and I felt welcomed. Lexi did my tattoo and it came out perfect. Everything was clean and I felt like I was in good hands. I’m confident I’ll be back here in the future. Highly reccomend!!
Tony pierced my 6 year old’s ears. Sounds like a simple task but it was NOT! My kid took over an hour until she finally let him. “I need a drink of water, I need to blow my nose, how bad is it going to hurt, show me the needle” crying, stalling and so on. He was so patient with her!! Answered all her questions, gassed her up, told her “YOU CAN DO THIS” over and over. My only experience getting my kid’s ears pierced, but I don’t think anyone will ever top it. THIS GUY IS AN ABSOLUTE GEM!!!

I was vacationing in Cleveland from out of state, and I had initially chickened out of getting my first tattoo before I arrived after I’d been planning it for weeks. But, during the vacation, I changed my mind and was hopeful for a walk-in service nearby — the tattoo I wanted was a replica of a simple comic panel, so I figured it’d be easy enough to do in a walk-in.
I arrived early in the day, and met Clay. They were all booked up for the moment, but Clay asked to check out my idea and placement, and offered to have me later in the afternoon. I came back at the time we talked about, and he got me in right away. I was thrilled.
Overall, the shop is very clean and neat, and everyone inside is very kind. Clay did a great job at helping me relax and explaining the process, the rate of my walk-in was fair, and I am very pleased with the final product. Would definitely recommend.

Mike Bemer & his apprentice were personable, very competent, showed up on time and very willing to answer questions - that they were not being paid for. Installation and repair took less time than predicted and came in at 2/3 their estimated cost. Bemer is a family firm we have used previously - eight years ago. Our hot water heater went out this morning, we went to Lowes and got a phone call from this company before we left the store. The guy that came out within the hour was very friendly and helpful. On February 9, 2016 a heavy snow fall caused the branches on a tree to break. The branches fell on the cable wire running from the utility pole to my house. This cable wire is attached to the masthead and the box that holds the service meter. These parts were pulled completely off and had to be re-attached by an electrician. The home owner is responsible for the repairs when this damage occurs. I called D & A Electric and I was very satisfied with the work performed and the amount I was charged in this emergency situation. I highly recommend D & A Electric for all your electrical needs.

I had a Whirlpool refrigerator that was making a buzzing noise. It was under a 5 year service contract with a company called New Leaf. CAS works with New Leaf and was assigned to look into my problem. I have to say they did a great job. New Leaf gave me the phone number for CAS. I did get an answering machine when I called but they called back the next day and had me scheduled for a service call in 5 days. The technicians where fine and they solved the problem.

My husband bought me a Can-Am Spyder F3 for my retirement that I lost the seat cowl key to. I ordered a new lock set and took it in to MAC's and he replaced it for no more than good conversation! I'm sorry someone has made a post stating they had a bad experience and that they felt it was racially motivated because my experiences are the opposite and I always refer people to him for their locksmithing needs and will continue to do so.

The problem was the carelessness at the end of the job. The sealcoating truck tore up my brand newly seeded lawn. Could have been avoided with a little more attention. Attached pictures don't look so bad, but it will require repair work that never should have been necessary. Without this, five stars.
Solomon's Sealcoat & Asphalt Service did a FANTASTIC job on my driveway. The manager and his crew were professional, prompt, neat, quiet, and thorough. Solomon was present throughout the project and returned several times during the two-day process in order to assure weather conditions did not hamper the curing. It looks like a new driveway, with clean sharp edges and a smooth dark surface. A job well done for a reasonable price.

I waited all summer on a different company that said they would get to trimming my trees and never did after 4 months. Finally we contacted Everarbor. They were out within a few days to give us an estimate and then again within a week to do the job and made the right cuts on the trees certified by an arborist, and for less than the original company that we waited on. I can't recommend Everarbor enough, friendly people, show up when they say they will and reasonable prices on trimming.

I was very nervous about my visit due to a lot of anxiety about dental experiences in the past. I feel like I have finally found a dentist I can trust. The level of compassion I experienced from not only Dr. Lu, but also the front office staff was nothing short of exceptional. I played music during my procedure and Dr Lu had fun right along with me to make sure I was in a good place, and explained any questions I had while the procedure was going on and made sure to check in with my throughout.

Dr. Livingston is wonderful. A member of my family had issues that other doctors could not figure out for two years. He found the problem in about a month. Livingston looks at the body holistically and that leads him to often find issues other doctors are not able to.

Today, was my Leo’s first visit. We were referred to Kee Kee’s Kutz by a friend. I was a bit nervous because he was attacked 4 weeks ago by another dog, so I wasn’t sure of his temperament. Kee Kee and her staff were warm, welcoming, and reassuring. I know personally that Leo can be a handful and I was extremely pleased with the service.

I've been taking class at Cleveland Yoga Little Italy for years and it's definitely my favorite yoga studio. The instructors have always been personable and welcoming. The instructors I've taken classes with include Lissa, LaRaun, Izabele, Christina, Hannah, Jenni, Katie, and Melissa - all were great! Would definitely recommend the studio for anyone looking for a great sense of community.

a place i've gone back to many times over the past four years, definitely worth mentioning how inclusive this space is and how lovely each of the instructors are. Hope and her team work so hard to create compassion in their space while continually learning and dedicating themselves to understanding how to best serve the needs of their community, wether that be through events and gatherings or sliding scale fees, truly some of the best people i've ever met.
