When they say no job is too big or too small, they mean it. I contacted Boston Balloon Events & The Confetti Company just one week before my daughter’s Sweet 16, desperate for a solution. Our venue was a raw space with a lot of character but plenty of challenges with things I couldn’t move and an overall look that needed serious transformation to feel right for a milestone celebration.
Maureen kept telling me to “go worry about something else” and that they do this all the time. It was playful and completely disarming (even though I definitely kept worrying). But she was right. They truly delivered. The pipe and drape softened the entire room, and the balloon arch in pink and gold became the focal point of the evening.
This is a company that has decorated for the Boston Pops, the Celtics and the White House, and yet they gave my daughter’s party the same care and attention. The turnaround was fast, the communication was seamless, and the result was stunning. I would absolutely work with them again. Highly recommend.

I have never been to a chiropractor. Always infatuated with those videos though. I had been waking up with a headache for the last week and pretty bad neck pain, I decided it was time to try a chiropractor. I’m so glad I did. I slept like a BABY last night. I feel refreshed, I finally slept pain free. My neck feels mobile again and I don’t have a headache this morning… I can’t wait to go back. We did some heat and then some minor adjustments. Very pleased with my experience as a first timer! Seeing him again next week ??

A Fine example of professional appraisal services. I met with Arthur in Boston for appraisal services on a few pieces I was interested in having insured and/or possibly selling at some point. A few inherited and some custom made, Arthur was extremely knowledgeable and professional.
I arrived early for my appointment and he immediately greeted my wife and I into the meeting area with a smile.
He was immediately very informative and fully explained the appraisal process and levels of services he provided with pricing before any commitment to service. He gave honest opinions and recommendations in regards to what to appraise, have insured or consider for sale in a very professional manner with no pressure.
Arthur took the time to listen and learn about the history behind each piece. He examined each piece thoroughly without rushing while explaining everything that he was doing as he worked.
Through the duration of our meeting he made us feel comfortable and showed a true passion for his work. He did everything exactly as he explained while we watched at his work area.

I've been seeing Justin Simas every month for over 5 years, and it's safe to say I'd trust him with much more than my hair if it came down to it. He's able to meet you where you're at stylistically and conversationally; there's never a dull moment in his chair, as he's attentive and sensitive to the wants and needs of his diverse clientele. Not to mention prompt and conscientious of your time. I'm moving out of town and am already looking forward to getting a cut from Justin next time I'm back to visit.

I always get a classic pedicure. Which I love! The service is always top notch and the team at Beauty 101 is very friendly. I recently tried the Deluxe Pedicure and let me tell you, I am not going back. The Deluxe Pedicure was truly an experience. From the foot mask to the foot steam and everything in-between, I was truly relaxed and taken to an oasis. My feet feel brand new. Can't wait to do this again!! Thank you Eloise!!

I've been going all the way to Newton for a pedicure, but no more. There is a gem right here in West Roxbury, called Salon V on Centre Street. The owner tends to your toes (or nails) to perfection, prices are very fair, ample street parking, and the salon is clean, clean, clean. I'll be a regular now.

I was helped politely by a fun receptionist - who clearly focuses on customer well-being. My stylist Hadey is a newer employee, but she has the eye of an artist. I’ve been going to Pour Le Corps for electrolysis for a while now and can’t say enough good things about my experience. Patrice is very knowledgeable and thorough! I’ve seen significant improvements in my hair growth slowing down since I’ve started going to her. Electrolysis is certainly a long journey but it’s well worth it!!

Jill is a master esthetician and even better person. I have been seeing her regularly for 3 years - she’s taken care of me in preparation for my wedding as well as pre- and post-pregnancy. I look forward to every appointment. She does excellent facials and brow tints and knows so much about both skincare and caring for your skin. I love spending my whole appointment chatting away with Jill, but she also knows when you need a moment to relax while she gives you a killer neck massage. She’s also happy to help with recommendations but never pushes you to purchase products. I cannot recommend her enough!

I’ve come here for laser hair removal and for facials and I always go to see Moira! Hands down the best facials my skin always looks so good for weeks after! Moira always gives the best skincare advice on what products I should use. Laser is also super quick and minimal pain. If you want a relaxing facial or a targeted facial you can definitely get both here and always walk out glowing!!

Went to their location on Essex st that offers massages . I was warmly greeted by the a nice lady at the front desk . I was in so much back pain and I wanted some relief. She suggested deep tissue massage. Mary my therapist was great! She went hard on my back but she kept checking with me all the time to make sure I can handle the pressure. I was very stiff and I really appreciate her pressure as my back felt so good right immediately . You can ask for milder massage or let her do her job she is a professional. I feel so good and I already scheduled my next massage. Definitely a monthly type of thing for me now.

For anyone visiting from out of town: Sway is easily accessible via public transport (both bus and train; Kenmore stop) and is within walking distance of many hotels. Staff have been consistently warm and notably welcoming to first-time visitors based on my initial experience, observations and conversations overheard while in the waiting room.
Sway has become a part of my self-care routine/rotation (so much so that I picked up a small part-time gig exclusively to fund my spa days). They make me feel like family while there, and their services have consistently left me feeling so relaxed just the thought of an upcoming appointment has become soothing. Based on observation, it seems you cannot go wrong with any of their staff. Based on experience, I highly recommend asking for Lucy, Sheli, and/or Sarah, and asking about integrating aromatherapy when you get there

I can't recommend Leila highly enough. The whole experience of the facial itself was so soothing and relaxing, I felt truly pampered. I was also amazed at the difference I could see before and after the facial - my skin looked very noticeably more clear, even-toned, and radiant. I came in with some blemishes and skin issues that were basically gone by the end of the facial. Leila is also a lovely person and super knowledgeable about skincare. She is helping me create a personalized routine and I'm seeing improvements in my skin right away. I’ve been trying to find a good spot for lash lifts and tints since moving to Boston and this is definitely my new go to studio!
I’m really impressed with the quality and how long it lasted. It’s been over two months and I still feel like there’s a slight curl to my lashes. Also I loved that they asked for my preferences since I don’t like a lot of tint on my bottom lashes. The end result was exactly what I wanted and I’ll definitely be scheduling another appointment.
A few days ago, I had an appointment with Savannah, and she assisted me during my laser tattoo removal process.
I want to say that I had an excellent experience, the place is beautiful, the attention is wonderful, and Savannah guided me through the process with so much patience.
I had gotten this eyebrow tattoo about six years ago at another place, and it was way too dark for my skin tone. I was very happy with the results from the very first session. Savannah recommended that at least two sessions would be needed to remove it completely, but I was already satisfied after the first one because my eyebrows lightened so nicely.
She also gave me clear aftercare instructions for the following days. Overall, I just want to say that this place is highly recommended, the service is excellent, and I am truly grateful for the care I received that day.

my experience with the shop was great. I was greeted by the owner ram that was knowledgeable about tattoos and coverups took the time to explain what will and wont work .which ultimately made me come back to the shop after visiting other shops simply because they genuinely wanted to make sure i got what i wanted . I eventually decided to go with Roz who completed my cover-up which I love !!! ended up coming back to her for another tattoo that came out perfect . she was so gentle, calm very kind and great conversation! i would definitely recommend Roz as a tattoo artist as she listens to your wants takes the time to gather information and pictures and truely want your tatto desires to become reality!! i can tell she cares about the work she does so again thank you !!!!
I came in a few times in 2022 as a walk in and was lucky enough to be there when Sylar had availability. I didn’t have any plan but was drawn to a peacock from his flash collection. The other day a stranger asked me if she could write down the artists name and location and I realized how often I am asked about it. It’s become my favorite tattoo and I think it always will be. So much talent and they are so laid back/welcoming. 10/10 for me!

Irfan and team are exceptional at what they do. I had purchased my property and the inspector found a damaged water main in the basement which needed to be replaced immediately. They came and explained what the issue was and promptly took care of it at a reasonable price. I have used them again for many plumbing issues; replacing thermostats, water heaters, tune ups, repairs, as my property is over 125 years old. On one instance I was trying to find the best solution to redo my bathroom in a cost effective manner and they provided me a solution to do that, even if it meant no work for them. O.K. everyone, Are you looking for a plumber? Yeah? Look no further. I'm telling you the honest truth, you will not find anyone BETTER for the price because this is "The Guy". No, like I mean it. You know when you need something fixed, repaired etc. and you ask your friend for a recommendation and they say "I gotta guy"? Welp, now you're going to be giving everyone you know John's number because this is going to be "Your Guy". I initially found John on Yelp, go figure. I called him up because we were experiencing issues with our Navien CH-240 Combi-Boiler. So, being that I already called a sh*tload of other plumber's which either did not return my calls or bother to show up for our confirmed appointments, I was an emotional wreck. John picks up and listens to my desperate plea for help. So after listening to me John says "No problem buddy. I'll come by and look at it" and gives me a date. Now, John did have to reschedule which he promptly notified me of. Which was o.k. because this showed he cared enough to ensure that I wasn't just waiting in the wind. This is where he also get's 5 Stars for excellent communication. Alright moving on. John shows up On-Time for our rescheduled appointment and goes straight to inspecting the boiler. John discover's the problem (Cracked Heat Exchanger). John took care of everything from the Warranty with Navien to ensuring everything was good on my end in the house. After getting the warranty approval John scheduled the new boiler install the following week which by the way he showed up On-Time and as scheduled. During the install, I was downstairs bugging John about every plumbing related question imaginable. John answered everything politely and also gave me pointers on Navien boilers. Ok. here is where John takes the cake of being the best priced plumber hands down. After installing the boiler, John informed me of how to receive a Rebate from National Grid due to installing this boiler! Seriously, go look it up! I never knew! What a great guy. Trust me. You won't find a better plumber than John. If he has to reschedule, don't get upset. This guy is getting so much work and it's just him. He told me that due to a shortage of plumbers from young people not wanting to get into the trades, plumbers are in high demand. However, John doesn't price gouge like the rest of these companies. Don't look any further. Give John a call.

The guy working at Key Works was super friendly and carried the blank that I needed for the exterior keys that the other key insert duplication places such as Home Depot couldn’t do! If you are new to the area or just recently moved apartments, but the landlords are charging large fees, or won’t duplicate them at all, I’d go to this place immediately all over again, Especially for the price he does them at is relatively low.

Le is terrific - first used him a couple years ago when he had a small shop in Ashmont (now he just works mobile). Our condo mailboxes needed fixing - he gave a quote for a visit, but also said we could bring in mailbox unit to save $$ - I brought it in, new mailbox locks, new master PO lock - perfect!
Then this month we had an attempted break-in at our condo - luckily guy did not succeed. I called Le and he promptly came out to install latch guards, fix a faulty front door latch, and also fixed a sliding glass door lock. All done perfectly and efficiently, at a reasonable price, and gave us some other good tips/advice as well.
Now we’re ordering a hefty deadbolt through Le for our front door. Cannot recommend him highly enough! ? ?

I need my guest room deep cleaned for my aunt coming to Boston. She will be staying for a week but my guest bedroom with a bathroom ensuite hasn't been cleaned for a year. (no one in my house uses that room unless a relative or friend is staying for long). However I didn't have enough time to deep clean the room and bathroom before my aunt arrives on the weekend. So glad I booked Cleanzen to do that for me and the cleaner did great especially when she worked alone! My guestroom is now ready for my aunt and I'm thankful to the cleaner for that!
I was thoroughly pleased and satisfied with the deep Post construction cleanup that I received at my home from BraBos. I will edit later to show the bedroom photos, once the bedding is laundered. Everything was completely covered with construction dust so I have not got around to laundering the bedding yet. I’m enclosing a closet picture which looks stuffed, but as I mentioned below I had everything crammed in there and could not even see what was in there. You can see how organized it is now. I do not have an attic so this is my storage in this house. Idelsane and Eunice worked as a team to clean my house after hey serious mess left in my home After a construction visit gone wrong. They completed so much detailed work so quickly and efficiently. Closets were organized in a way that I’ve never been able to do. I had two closets that were stuffed with contents because I don’t have an attic. They put everything back into those closets in such an organized way that I can actually see what is in there. They maximized the space. Their cleaning was so thorough. They cleaned walls, ceilings, ceiling fans, lightbulbs, floors, baseboards, everything you can imagine. Windows were cleaned inside and out. Everything was vacuumed with HEPA equipment, Which was a must considering the situation. Idelsane’s English is very good and I was able to communicate perfectly with both of them through Idelsane. Both women, Idelsane and Eunice were cheerful, upbeat, and energetic! Highly recommend!
Better Clean is, no joke, better at cleaning than the previous company I hired to clean my house. My house isn't huge, just 1 bedroom 1 bathroom, but after a deep clean, it felt larger than it normally is. The cleaners were able to clean my home very well and it felt more spacious. I’ve had some truly awful tenants in the past—looked like they’d been ice skating on my hardwood floors, leaving deep, sharp gouges. I know I should’ve fixed it right away, but I waited a few years, which only made the damage worse.
The hardwood floors are original and they’d already been sanded several times, so I thought they were beyond saving. Martin assured me there was still life left in them—and he was right. I had tenants in the home at the time, which made things tricky, but he worked in two phases to accommodate everyone.
As a rental property owner, I’ve dealt with my fair share of contractors—some flake, some overcharge, some make empty promises—but Martin is a man of his word. The results are beyond my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

NEDC completed remodeled our bathrooms about nine years ago, and they have held up great. But recently one of the rollers on the shower door broke. I contacted them just to see if they could identify the parts we neeeded and where to get them, but they went much further, finding the part and vendor in their records, working with the vendor to find a replacement, and had it sent to our house (at no cost). I was able to do the repair myself, but NEDC made it clear they would send someone to help if needed. It's a big relief to know that even after 10 years, as things age and wear out, we can go back to NEDC for help keeping things like new.
Joe knows his stuff. Joe has probably single handly made the Parkway area into the vibrant area it is now with all his work. Each one of his jobs is a work of art. The homes go from 1930s recession to 2020s modernization. Is there anyone more trustworthy and knowledgable in the area, if you find them let me know. The job sites I have seen he lives clean… Cleaner than when they started. Explains everything thats gonna happen. Also from the SM presence seems to be visiting trade shows to make his materials and work better. Giving us the customer more and better options.

They came on time every day, worked very hard and with quality, finished exactly in the time frame proposed (a first in my experience), and cleaned up every day. The proposal was very fair and their work was impeccable. No shortcuts. But more than all the above, Arik made great recommendations and provided consultation that made the project even better. His integrity was outstanding and his approach was as if he was doing the work for his own family. He was always respectful. I could not recommend his work more highly. I am only afraid that this recommendation might make him too busy for further work I may need.

I own several triple deckers in the Boston area and have had BRC Renovations do a complete roof replacement on on about two years ago. The job was completed on time and at a very reasonable price and I've had no problems since. At the same time they rebuilt the chimney from the roof deck up. They removed all the debris and kept the area clean on a daily basis. I have had them do various repairs at another similar flat roof building as well and I will have them do a complete roof replacement on that building within the year.I can't emphasize how important it is to me that they are responsive to emergency requests for fast turn-around repairs as well as top quality workmanship.

Bite free for one week thanks to these people! We had come back from an European holiday and while there we had to change rooms and I thought I saw a bed bug early one morning. I didn't think much about it until coming home. After about a week, both my husband and I woke up with bites each morning. I called for a dog inspection with another company and they said I have bed bugs. They also said the bed bugs were ii a suitcase but given that the suitcase wasn't with us on our trip, I wasn't convinced. I called Mike and he was very nice. I didn't tell him we had another dog inspection and I wasn't home when their dog inspected our house but when I received a call from Mike that evening he said there was an alert on the red suitcase which was the suitcase that wasn't on the trip, and that the other dog had also selected. Mike arranged for a treatment and walked us through the heat treat procedure. Gregory, the team leader was amazing, explaining everything. When we got home, it felt bug free (I know that sounds crazy). Waking up knowing that I don't have something crawling on me at night is pure bless. The person I spoke to on the phone was really helpful with identifying the yellowjackets and talking us through what we were seeing and was able to get us on the schedule right away. Shaun came the next day and was absolutely wonderful, talking us through what to expect from the service and how to do reasonable mitigation strategies to keep them from returning. Dr. Chang, his surgical residents, the nurses, assistants, and phone staff were all fantastic. Had a very good recovery after my jaw surgery. I don’t regret him being my surgeon, or getting the surgery in general.
I have TMJ due to a genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos syndrome and am a complex patient with a team of about 18 doctors. I went to Tufts due to pain, headaches, jaw locking and clicking in my jaw. Dr Lu reviewed ALL of my medical records BEFORE our initial appointment (which are extensive), listened to my concerns, was empathetic about solutions I had already tried and failed, and came up with a comprehensive, multifaceted approach to treatment. Ladies at the front desk are always kind to me & my kids. The nurses are always gentle. The doctors are amazing. I've been bringing my kid's here for almost 17 years. Dr. Atkinson is the best. He takes everything i say seriously. If I have a concern, he always listens. He knows I know my kid's better than anyone. Even if he doesn't think what I'm saying is correct, he will still investigate it as an option. My kid's feel safe there. We've seen most, if not all of the staff there at some point & i can't think of one that my kids or I don't trust or feel uncomfortable with. I moved a bit away but refuse to switch doctors offices for the kids bc finding another doctor they trust this way might never happen again.
I used to take my son to this practice in 2023 before we moved out of Boston, and I can't say enough good things. As a new mom, I felt very comfortable and supported here. The entire team was professional and kind, and my son was always treated with great care. We absolutely loved Dr. Menzin—she was thorough and reassuring which made all the difference. I’d highly recommend this practice, and especially Dr. Menzin, to any parent looking for a pediatrician they can trust.

I have never been to a chiropractor. Always infatuated with those videos though. I had been waking up with a headache for the last week and pretty bad neck pain, I decided it was time to try a chiropractor. I’m so glad I did. I slept like a BABY last night. I feel refreshed, I finally slept pain free. My neck feels mobile again and I don’t have a headache this morning… I can’t wait to go back. We did some heat and then some minor adjustments. Very pleased with my experience as a first timer! Seeing him again next week ??
I went in to see Dr. Morley with pain down my left leg that woke me up at night and would not allow me to get comfortable. I even had gone to an ER, where the doc told me it likely was just restless leg syndrome and take some Tylenol. Sure. That didn’t work. She probed and decided that some of the soft tissues were rather severely inflamed, then massaged, stretched, used some sort of electro-stimulator gizmo and gently manipulated. She then showed me hip stretches and an easy core strengthening exercise that even could be done in bed. All that gave some relief, stretching and ibuprofen that night helped reduce the pain more, and after 2 more days, the pain was gone and I could move more freely and without pain. Periodic “tune-ups” with her since then have kept the hip flexible and the pain away.

60+ minutes as a new patient I walked out with my back pain gone, better mobility and a protocol to follow. The detailed explanations and joking around kept me relaxed the entire visit. I’m lucky he is down the street, but I would travel hours to see him. Honest old school chiropractor with a heart of gold. Take advantage of his skills while he is still practicing.

I’ve been bringing my dogs to JP Animal Clinic for almost 3 years, and I’m only leaving because I’m moving away.
Every vet - Dr. Levine, Dr. Marks, and Carter - we’ve seen has been incredibly knowledgeable and great. This practice does not push unnecessary tests or treatments. The docs will walk me through their thought process and always present options, walking me through decisions in a way that feels collaborative and supportive. They’ve helped us through everything from smaller issues like fleas and post-flea dermatitis to much more serious diagnoses like mast cell tumor and Cushing’s disease. The wait for appointments, diagnostic testing, and surgery is not long. They’ve also gone out of their way to help me find the most cost-effective ways to get my dog a particularly expensive medication. Through it all, I’ve felt confident that my dogs were receiving excellent evidence-based care.
Most importantly, when my dogs walk in, everyone knows them and is genuinely excited to see them. That kind of warmth and familiarity means so much.
The only real downside is parking — it can be a bit tricky in JP— but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality of care.

Pinto is a very sweet dog with very high anxiety around veterinary treatment, specifically onset during the COVID pandemic. Back Bay Veterinary Clinic -- and Dr. Graham in particular -- has been SO wonderful in working with us to figure out the best way to make sure he is calm and comfortable so that he can get the care he needs! I recommend Back Bay Vet to ALL of my friends with pets, but especially anyone with a ~* special *~ dog like Pinto.
With an overwhelmingly anxious dog, Dr. Buckley makes us both feel in great hands and at ease for every visit - no matter the occasion. She is spectacular and really has a connection with you and your animal - I know she cares equally about baby.

This is a great service and saved the day when I thought I might end up on the ER with my 15 year old shitzu. My vet was closed and it was a Sunday and I couldn’t find an open vet anywhere. I had an appointment on Tuesday with my regular vet but was nervous my doggie couldn’t wait that long. The Doctor guided me in what to look for if my Sailors issue was getting worse and gave me some home remedies that really helped! Within 24 hours she was looking so much better. This is an amazing service! I highly recommend it.

Had a great experience with the North Station Office. We usually go to the South boston office but NS was able to get us in sooner as Trevor had a MPL issue that needed immediate attention. The Emilies ( front desk Emily and vet tech Emily) were kind and understanding for this worried dog Mom! Sherry was so kind too. Vet explained everything in detail and gave sound information in regards to options for my morkie’s car Will definitely return?

I don’t know where we’d be without Bond Vet! We’ve trusted them for the last couple years with our dog, Ravioli. From regular annual visits to urgent drop ins, they’ve kept Ravioli safe & healthy.
We had a really scary incident at a daycare and had to rush Ravioli to Bond Vet, even though they were about to close. They welcomed us right in and took extra time to make sure he’d be okay. This meant the world and I’ll never forget how kind every person was that night.
Anytime we walk by, Ravioli actually begs to go inside - he loves it so much. We try to see Dr. Alander when we can, but all the vets & nurses have been so kind and accommodating! Highly recommend!!
I highly recommend House Call Cat grooming & Spa - We have 2 coon cats that were in desperate need of a full grooming. I searched for a mobile cat groomer for months and found them! My cats were so matted and i thought that they would need to be fully shaved. Cynthia and Sabrina were a godsend - they are experienced professionals that were able to transform both cat’s with a complete grooming while keeping their fur and brining back their beauty ! They handled the difficult cats with ease and the entire experience was seamless for cats and owner. I intend to have them as part of the high maintenance regimen a coon cat requires . Both cats and this owner are relived - and happy . One was extremely matted and in pain and immediately began running around after the grooming!
Been going to Petiquette for about a year and a half - Great spot with some great people working there. Jenny the owner wears a lot of hats and gets it done! I have a Husky and they do a great job with him, so they're getting a holiday card this year

I was really happy with the service for the price and my dog got a nice haircut! They took good care of her and did a great job on her nails (which are a pain to do), they didn't skip her dewclaws either!
My stay in Boston was very short, but Ghada was so nice to squeeze me in into her busy schedule and gave me the fastest and smoothest waxing I've ever experienced. Besides that she is just a fun, easy-going and BEAUTIFUL woman! Can't wait to come back. xx
Emma is SPECTACULAR. I’ve been getting facials and eyebrows from her for ages.She is so good with just the right treatment for my ever changing dry skin. I’m convinced she sped up my recovery choosing this mask & avoiding that ointment following some skin cancer removal. She is still extra attentive to those tender areas. Her products are healthy and she knows the science behind everything she does.And I never worry about how she’s shaping my brows. I consistently leave her suite feeling like a better version of myself.
Although I don’t live close by I find that the treck to JP Centre yoga is always worth it. The staff is super friendly, the teachers are so knowledgeable and kind, and the space is lovely. I’ve had three back surgeries so I always inform the teachers of this and they watch out for me. They check to make sure I’m positioning myself properly and suggest modifications.Thank you JP Centre Yoga!

I found this place on google while vacationing in Boston and I’m so happy I did. I get worked on often so I’m pretty good at knowing from the start if a massage will be good or not. Gigi’s massage was fantastic! I don’t typically do deep tissue because most therapists don’t know about pressure points and how to release any knots but Gigi knows her craft. She took the pain away I had on my neck and helped with the rest of the tension on my back. I’m sad I won’t be able to see her often but rest assured I will be back to see her once I go back to Boston.
I have dealt with chronic pain most of my life and incredibly tight muscle patterns my body has created to adapt to restricted movement. I have seen Jean-Pierre a couple of times now and every time I leave I feel like I’m walking on clouds. He really listens to what I am saying and knows exactly how to address the issue. I especially appreciate the follow up conversations afterwards where we talk about the work he did and resources I can use at home. He makes me feel very comfortable with his demeanor and extreme professionalism. I just finished three months of PT here and had a wonderful experience. Julia was great to work with: knowledgeable, educative, attentive, personable, and fun. I had been dealing with a groin injury from rugby for about a year, and was just coming off a frustrating experience with another PT provider which felt very copy-and-paste and lacked 1:1 attention. The individualized, 1:1 sessions here were a refreshing change; Julia used a comprehensive approach to treat my injury and educated me on everything we did. I’ve come away feeling stronger, healthier and more knowledgeable about my own body, and even have a personalized gym plan that Julia developed with me over our time together. I can’t recommend Julia and The Method enough- worth every penny!

I had a fantastic experience rehabbing my knee at Downtown Physical Therapy. The therapists were always very friendly and helpful, which made the rehabbing experience much easier to work through. They helped personalize my rehab experience by providing weekly exercises that they thought would work best for my needs. Scheduling was never an issue either. I started going to Christina recently for G.I. issues. She is great! We are new to Boston. I was nervous about how best to find an acupuncturist, so I went on the NCCAOM site and found who had their accreditations here. Then I began walking around town. I found Christina to be very welcoming and we started working together soon thereafter. She is very comprehensive when taking medical history, she listens well, she is respectful and is a caring person. And importantly she is very gentle and skilled at acupuncture and other TCM techniques. In my sessions, I am quite relaxed and afterwards I feel energized. So very glad to have found BackBay Acupuncture and Christina.
Finding time in my week to see Alison is so important to me. I see her for help with stress, skin, period, and overall hormone balance and health and I’ve seen huge improvements. She takes in every detail of what is going on in your life and asks the best questions to uncover how she can best help you that day. I started coming here in April 2023. I had a whole list of issues going on, namely really painful and debilitating periods that were irregular. I had been on birth control for years, and when I got off of it, my periods became very painful, to the point of needing to miss school and work. I relied heavily on ibuprofen on days 1 and 2 of the periods. For two years, I thought this was just my new normal. But after coming here once a month for a few months, my periods have completely normalized again. No more pain and now my cycles are regular to a T! I haven't made any other life changes besides coming to see Bell. Their methodology is safe and effective, and in my case, curative. Periods don't have to suck! I'd highly recommend coming here if you are someone struggling with your periods or any other chronic conditions.
I highly recommend Chi Harmoney Acupuncture. Have always told people about this spot whenever the subject of acupuncture comes up. Since originally seeing Stephanie, then moving away, I was forced to see a couple of different acupuncturists, and I think she is still the best.
Dr cheng is the very best ! He's brilliant and kind and conservative in his treatment . He has your best interest in mind . He will do everything for you to avoid surgery if that's the direction other docs have recommended . As an orthopedic surgeon in China , he has more knowledge about the human body than just an acupuncturist would have . I was referred to him by my acupuncturist when I had a medical crisis . She said he was the best in the field and highly respected by his peers at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston . I attribute my recovery from the care I recover from dr Cheng and highly recommend him .
Dr. Lee is excellent. He uses various methods he feels work best after your evaluation to help alleviate pain. I felt results after only 1-2 visits. I want to give 5 stars but only giving 4 because during the week appointment hours are only 9am-2pm making it near impossible to get to when working full time.
We booked an appointment in advance and had a wonderful experience here. The space was spotless and the atmosphere was very calming with soft music in the background. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything felt thoughtful and respectful. The staff made sure we were comfortable throughout and the massage itself was incredibly relaxing. Our muscles felt noticeably better afterward. Overall, a very professional and peaceful experience. I would happily return.
I came to Boston for a week trip, and I basically need to walk around Boston. I chose Beijing spa and enjoyed a one-hour foot spa and one-hour body work. It was very professional and clean.
