I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Fraser. I have worn glasses for most of my life and have also been dealing with significant eye dryness. I get annual eye exams, but it’s surprising that no optometrist has taken the time to really explain my nearsightedness, the progression of my dry eye, or the potential consequences if left untreated.
Dr. Fraser not only took the time to walk me through all of this in detail, she also personally conducted my entire eye exam and discovered that my prescription was much higher than expected.
After my appointment, she provided me with a clear and comprehensive treatment plan for my dry eyes and recommended a follow-up in six months. I truly appreciate the care and attention she gave to both my vision and overall eye health.

A group of 3 of us went for pedicures at Andrew Nails and Spa. They got us right in! They had lots of menu options. I had the Deluxe Pedicure and added wax. It was delightful, and my paint turned out perfectly. If I lived on the East Coast, I would definitely return!
I visited Lash Season this afternoon on a whim, and it was my first time there. I saw Herlin for a lash lift and tint, and the entire experience was truly 10/10. She is incredibly personable and kind, and it was obvious how much care and attention to detail she puts into her work — something that can be surprisingly hard to find with services like lash lifts and tints. The result came out amazing and I couldn’t be more happy with how my lashes turned out. I’ll absolutely be returning to see her again and can’t wait to treat myself to some of the other services on her menu!
Aishy was incredibly sweet and accommodating. The three of us were walk-ins, and she still took great care of us with kindness, patience, and a welcoming attitude. We truly appreciated her excellent service!

Virginia is the Physical Therapist I worked with. I could tell right away during our first evaluation that she was a detailed person. She created a great plan and brought me along at an appropriate pace to avoid reinjuring myself. I’m older and thought I might not recover enough to keep my current active lifestyle, but Virginia got me there with safe, clearly demonstrated exercises week-to-week. She included the exercises in the Limber app so I could do them at home in between our appointments. Virginia stressed that consistency was key to recovery. Limber is a great tool for that. It reminded me when it was time to do the exercises and how to do them properly as Virginia had taught me. The demonstration videos slowed me down to do each rep focusing on utlizing the muscle involved instead of using momentum. Really great tool.
I’m happy to say as I started to make progress with Virginia’s guidance, positive results materialized and my mindset changed. I am well on my way to getting back to the activities I love to lead a happy, healthy life! Big thanks to Virginia, Margaret, and everyone at Bay State South Boston! 5 stars all around!

Robert is one of those honest, salt-of-the-earth kind of guys. We had a smaller sized leak but a leak nonetheless that needed repairing. Robert provided multiple proposals so we could decide if we should pursue additional work beyond the repair considering the high cost of scaffolding. He was patient and understanding of our specific circumstances. Robert didn’t attempt to sell us a bill of goods which is greatly appreciated. He was timely across the board and his guys did an excellent job. Repairs in the Back Bay aren’t the easiest and it’s clear Robert knows exactly what he’s doing. Thank you, Robert!
They did some great work for me about 5 years ago, as well as a few other houses in our neighborhood. The picture of my driveway is on their list. Still looking good. Need more pavers to match.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Even before the project began, Paul was incredibly responsive with scoping, quoting, and coordinating all permits and materials. Tony installed a sub panel and dedicated sauna outlet, and the entire job was completed professionally, efficiently, and to a very high standard. Great communication, clean workmanship, fair pricing, and excellent attention to detail throughout. We couldn’t be happier and would absolutely recommend them for any electrical work.

I’ve personally known Liz for over 20 years—long before she even had her own salon—and it’s incredible to see how much she has grown. She was already amazing back then, and somehow she’s even better now, which honestly seems impossible.
Over the years, I’ve seen her for waxing pretty much my entire body, and more recently I’ve transitioned to laser treatments—especially for ingrown hairs on my legs. The results have been truly life-changing. I used to struggle with constant ingrown hairs, cysts, and severe “strawberry legs,” and she has completely transformed my skin.
I’ve also started doing laser facials with her, and the improvement in my skin has been unbelievable. The texture and pores—especially around my nose, which I was told by dermatologists couldn’t be improved—have noticeably changed. I genuinely didn’t think that was possible, but Liz made it happen.
She’s not only incredibly skilled, but also supportive, honest, and truly cares about her clients. Her salon is always spotless, her prices are fair, and she’s just an all-around great person.

My absolute favorite nail place in Southie. It’s very clean and welcoming in there, the ladies take their time with you and make sure you like the nails they do. They spend the time shaping, no bumps, and not too thick with dip. My nails have always lasted from them where as other places in Southie they rush, aren’t personal and the nails end up bumpy and breaking. Lastly, it’s the most affordable around, they really do take care of you. BEST NAIL PLACE IN SOUTHIE ???

My family has used Emerson for decades and they have always come through for me in a clutch. I have gone to them last minute several times with my suit or Army dress uniform for a funeral last minute for some last minute event. I cannot recommend them higher. They are an excellent local business.
