JPPilates is everything that boutique fitness should be at its best, and then some. I've been a JPP client since moving to Charlestown in 2024 and immediately fell in love with Jenn's classes and studio. Since opening her new studio, Jenn has expanded her offerings and instructor roster, and the quality of instruction, warmth, and vibes that make JPP what it is have remained top notch. Jenn, Ali, and Lauren are incredible. Jenn and her team are intentional about what this space is about: it is beautiful, it is welcoming, it is focused on good form, it is about having fun and working hard, and it is about community. It's no surprise JPP was voted Best of Boston. I feel so fortunate to have JPP right in my neighborhood but wouldn't hesitate to travel here even if it wasn't, and I still need to try the new instructors who've joined the talented team.

Jon and his entire team were exceptional to work with during the recent install of counters for a kitchen, pantry, laundry area and bathroom.
The experience from start to finish was flawless and easy. Jon advised on stone selection. And with Mark, they both ensured the templating was well thought out, the movement of stone was perfectly placed, and that install went smoothly.

Brenda Breton is a wonderful and professional individual. She guided my husband and I after another office had given incorrect information. She provided great services and I would recommend her to everyone!
Our main sewer line had some problems. Cast iron pipes that were originally installed in the house had corroded, and some sections even had bottomed. Axel was sent to assess the situation after we called Drain & Water. The two options were: 1) relining the sewer main line under the concrete slab; and 2) pipe burst the sewer main line under the driveway.
Their quote was substantially lower than that of two other plumbers for the same scope. Axel responded to all of our concerns and questions. He was in good contact with us during the entire process. Drain & Water coordinated the underground utility service and handled all permits.
The crew came to our house every day to introduce themselves, tell us what they planned to do and give us a schedule of when the drains would be closed due to the work they were doing on the sewer line. They also gave us an estimate for when they could be used again. Every day they cleaned.

I’m not normally in this area but I needed to be in this neighborhood for another appointment and decided to get my hair cut here and it was a great place. Real friendly and did a nice job!

I love Glitters and they are hands down the most consistent nail salon in Boston. Lisa is the absolute BEST and she has completely changed the health of my nails. I don’t even live close to the salon, but there’s no other place i would go other than to Lisa at Glitters!
I've been a client for many years. Most recently, our hot water heater failed and we needed emergency replacement. Chris Ventolieri (owner) was extremely responsive, and kept me informed at every step. The 2 technicians who did the job were great as well. Highly recommend.
Wonderful place- our pup is excited to go and ready for a nap after an exciting day of play. If for an overnight, great care and stay is individually curated.

Had a great first experience at this barber shop! The woman who cut my hair did a really wonderful job. I will be coming back here from now on! It’s also a cozy little shop. Highly recommend.
I live out of town but head into the city just for this men’s haircut. The attention to detail and listening to what you’re hoping for is most welcome. Will definitely make the commute in for this cut. Having longer hair, it’s incredibly helpful to have someone who knows what they’re doing.
I got a last min root touch up by Shirin - I’ve never been here before so was a little nervous but def needed it done - she matched the rest of my color perfectly! It came out even better than what I had pictured in my own mind - thank you!! Will definitely be back.
The staff does a great job on nails. They also let you pay with credit cards and tip with Venmo. They add a little extra to the pedicure with a hot stone massage, a hot wrap, and leg massage. I hate getting my nails done but surprisingly I am relaxed here. There is 2 hour parking on the same street as well.
