My boys (6 and 9) tried soccer, baseball, flag football, but nothing “stuck” until we discovered karate back in March 2021. Fast forward to two classes a week (soon to be 4 ?), 2 belt tests and now a competition team/weapons (all dull, nothing sharp here), my boys couldn’t be happier. Sensei Marie and Sensei Erin are wonderful with the kids and it’s a wide range of all ages and backgrounds. I can honestly say that karate has also taught my boys discipline, fitness, patience and self esteem. I highly recommend One Step Beyond!“

I have seen a few others using equipment that allowed me to learn how to use them. I end each visit with either HydroMassage or the standard massage chair.I haven't been in the locker room or downstairs free weights. Someday,I will venture around.I find it a relaxing, no pressure experience.“

Johnny, the owner is a straight forward and most importantly, an honest person. Our trainer, Danielle is fantastic. She is extremely knowledgeable. She motivates us and knows how to work us out at exactly the right pace. The whole Anthrofit team is warm and always welcoming. They don't judge anyone. Their facilities are clean. No need to be concerned about over crowding as they setup appointments and make sure the gym isn't overly packed. I started training with him at Jet South End 6+ months ago to get stronger and feel more comfortable in the gym. Since then, I've put on muscle, my form has improved across every lift, and I'm at the fittest I've ever been. Ari deserves all the credit here! I genuinely can't say enough good things about him as a trainer. He's exceptionally knowledgeable across training, nutrition, and technique, and brings real warmth and humor (and great playlists) to every session. He remembers where you need work, gives thoughtful programming and cues, and is deeply invested in his clients' progress. The whole environment at Jet reflects that same energy: every trainer there is friendly and welcoming, and I look forward to each time I'm there.
