For anyone visiting from out of town: Sway is easily accessible via public transport (both bus and train; Kenmore stop) and is within walking distance of many hotels. Staff have been consistently warm and notably welcoming to first-time visitors based on my initial experience, observations and conversations overheard while in the waiting room.

Sway has become a part of my self-care routine/rotation (so much so that I picked up a small part-time gig exclusively to fund my spa days). They make me feel like family while there, and their services have consistently left me feeling so relaxed just the thought of an upcoming appointment has become soothing. Based on observation, it seems you cannot go wrong with any of their staff. Based on experience, I highly recommend asking for Lucy, Sheli, and/or Sarah, and asking about integrating aromatherapy when you get there“

“I have gone to Vega for years, since they were only in the back bay, and I will never leave. I would not trust anyone else with my face/injectables. Yes, excellent care is expensive, but why on earth would you risk vascular occlusion or terrible results just to save a few bucks?

And that being said, the girls at Vega wk NEVER try to sell you on something you don’t need. A few years ago I inquired about HALO treatments, and Ashley (the owner) truthfully told me I didn’t need them yet.

A few weeks ago, I had an updated consultation with Tina, and besides one procedure I already determined I wanted, she agreed that I did not need to add anything else to my yearly routine- and let’s be clear, that routine consists of tiny amounts of Botox (technically under their minimum unit amount), one microneedling, one MOXI, and one PRF per year. They’re not making bank on me needing filler top up or 30 units of Botox.

Pro tip: Book your appointment early! Spots fill up fast, and my wait was a couple of months to get in. The salon is conveniently located in the heart of Chinatown, and you can easily get there by train (Green, Red, or Orange Line) or drive — I found parking nearby without an issue.
