It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to you. I want to express our sincere gratitude for the incredible experience my family shared as two of our adult children became proud new home owners, each having purchased one of your impeccably built Carrington homes a few months ago. I hope this review helps others make a decision to use your company.
It’s important to note that our family has a construction and development background and are familiar with many of the intricacies of building which are often overlooked. When we toured Carrington’s new homes, we realized that the company clearly paid tremendous attention to detail with numerous amenities, features, and benefits not often considered by the majority of other builders. Whether it be utilization of free spaces, thoughtful placement of electrical and service outlets, transom windows in closets, use of high-efficiency triple pane windows and solar-ready conduits, and the clear utilization of trades who care, Carrington went above and beyond our expectations for “spec” homes.
It's also important to note the exceptional HR talent at Carrington. Chantelle was our direct point of contact for all aspects of our home buying experience. Her knowledge of the product and experience with the overall process was akin to that of a business owner. I can speak to this with certainty, as I operate a number of businesses and can spot an exceptional professional a mile away. Chantelle’s thorough approach to the process and her impeccable sense of customer service made us feel well cared for, beyond that which one often finds in today’s world. The champagne and thoughtful bath robes for each new homeowner was a lovely touch. Again, this sort of service is something often lost today.
We ended up purchasing two homes instead of one from Carrington for all of the reasons listed in this letter, however, to make things even more special, Chantelle worked hard to help us prepare a wonderful “surprise” for our family. She and her husband helped us to do a unique and amazing surprise for members of our family who were unaware of the second purchase. It was such a spectacular event for everyone, and something we will fondly recount as the years roll ahead. Chantelle made us feel like family, not merely customers.
Finally, I wanted to draw attention to the after-sales service that Chantelle and the team provided. With new homes there are often a few items which need adjustment and final touches (landscaping etc). The Carrington crew were ready to assist us immediately, caring for our needs as if we were fresh new sales opportunities. Again, this is not common in today’s world. Thank-you Chantelle and team!
In closing, it’s apparent to me that Carrington’s awards and accolades are well earned, recently being named the Builder of the Year for single family homes at the 2024 Okanagan Housing Awards of Excellence. Congrats to Carrington, you deserve this incredible recognition!

Such an incredible experience with Cory and his team! There was an overlook in one of the designs so one closet had to be re-designed & installed again. As soon as I reached out, Cory quickly responded and came to re-measure & re-design. The dismantle & new installation was quick, and both closets look so nice and neat. In Kelowna from Vancouver and needed a haircut, my wife is a hairstylist and she usually does my hair but this was an emergency. The job Brett did is the best cut I have ever had, made me look ten years younger which is a miracle because due to my excessive beer consumption I usually look ten years older. So actually 20 years in total. Really hope my wife doesn't read this.

I have been going to Ken for about 37 or 38 of the 42 years since I was born (basically, since about kindergarten or grade one). Hands down, the cuts are the best. Ken is highly detailed, friendly, and has a great sense of humour. The person that said above it is Kelowna's best secret is very accurate.

Update: I have been going to Dr. Bentley since 2019. I have always been treated well by staff members. I continue to receive excellent care. While they do offer cosmetic services, it is clear that they are not about gimmicks. They provide honest assessments with no pressure. I recently inquired about their skincare products. I was pleasantly surprised with the price. I had previously assumed the products would be very expensive, many hundreds of dollars. Their prices aren't drug store prices, but neither are they ultra expensive.
The experience with Dr. Bentley and her team was very positive and professional. The staff and Dr. Bentley welcomed questions. Going into the procedure, I had confidence in the expertise of all the staff members. It's clear that the emphasis is on medical excellence and Dr. Bentley has hired the right people for her team.

I booked the most expensive body treatment which included a body scrub, shower (which was located in the treatment room!) massage and mini facial. I cannot recommend Jasmin enough!! By far the best lash tech I've ever gone to. I've been going to her for volume lashes for the past year and a half and she never disappoints. She always makes sure they look perfect before I leave, and goes above and beyond to accommodate bookings for her regular clients. What is most impressive though is the retention and attention to detail for separation - I can go 2-3 weeks with my lashes still looking full and even, and they never fall out in clumps or leave weird gaps. I always look forward to our appointments - great vibes in the studio and overall lovely person to chat with while I get my lashes done! :)

I had a buried water service line leak and couldn't be happier with the service I received. From the beginning, they took the time to explain the process, made sure utility locates were completed before any excavation, and were honest about the possible repair scenarios without pressuring me into unnecessary work.
Once the line was exposed, they worked closely with the excavator to carefully trace the service line until the leak was found. The repair was completed professionally, and the final solution ended up being much less extensive than some of the worst-case possibilities we had discussed.
Throughout the job they were knowledgeable, patient, and communicated clearly every step of the way. I really appreciated their professionalism and willingness to answer my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing plumbing or underground water service repairs.

When I finally accepted that my air conditioner was sick and dying, I called two other companies before calling Reliance Wrightman, and right out of the gate they were way more professional, accommodating, reasonable and affordable. The same day I called, the technician Dwight came over and quickly assessed and diagnosed the problem, explaining everything to me along the way. Unfortunately, my 14 year-old air conditioner was at the end of its life, so Dwight Quickly arranged for the sales person Grayson To come over later that same day. He also took the time to explain everything to me Thoroughly, gave me several options and put absolutely no pressure on me. I ended up leasing a new unit from them, which comes with free service for not just my air conditioner, but also my furnace and an incredible deal on a UV light. I can’t recommend John enough.
Over the weekend, our friend was dealing with what we believed was an illegal eviction. John took the time to understand the situation properly and mentioned he had dealt with similar cases before. He also contacted members of the RCMP to confirm the legal situation and ensure it was safe for him to proceed.
Ultimately, we decided not to enter in order to avoid escalating the situation. During what was a very stressful and emotional moment, John didn’t just treat it like a job. He stayed, spoke with our friend calmly, and helped her understand her options and next steps. Most importantly, he helped ground her during a really overwhelming experience.
I would not hesitate to use John again knowing that he operates his business with compassion for the people he’s serving, and not just for the money.

Two very friendly guys, Tyler and Chris, arrived and did an excellent job cleaning the grout in my bathroom. The difference is amazing. If you have dirty grout in your bathroom, give them a call, it literally transforms a room. Tyler even mopped the kitchen floor on his way out.

I reached out on a Thursday evening and by Monday morning, Peak Cleaning had a crew on site to deep Spring Clean my home! We just had new carpet installed on an entire upper floor as well as 2 staircases - a big job. Everything was excellent from start to finish: advice in the showroom to narrow down the very wide selection to meet our needs, prompt and polite measuring of the space and giving us a quote, good communication as to the process and setting a timeline that was convenient for us, a great scheduler, and really excellent installers who were a pleasure to have in the house. We thought we had a problem with a mark on the carpet, and Jordan's was clearly 100% committed to making it right, which was very reassuring. When the manager came to look at it right after the install, the mark had automagically disappeared. We were apologetic but the manager was super gracious and made us feel like he really wanted to come and see how it all looked anyway. This will be our first stop for future flooring needs.

I recently had Fortis come by to change my gas meter, and during the process they discovered two small gas leaks. They recommended calling a gasfitter, so I reached out to Erich from Bennison Construction.
Erich responded quickly and took care of the issue right away. Rather than simply tightening the fittings, he replaced them entirely to prevent future problems. Since the pipe is older and located right by my back door—where it tends to get bumped—I really appreciated his “do it right the first time” approach. It’s exactly what I would have done myself.
I highly recommend Erich at Bennison Construction. I’m not a first-time customer, and once again I’m impressed with his quality of work and professionalism.

We started seeing Devin for our baby’s reflux after a friend referred her for the same thing. She was amazing! Explained everything to me, let me sit close by if needed, it is a very open, comfortable, non judgemental environment. It felt like she really is passionate about her job and helping the babies. Once she felt our baby was doing well she was very honest about it rather than having us keep coming back when it wasn’t necessary (we appreciated the honesty and trusted her even more!) we would absolutely recommend. The team at Pandosy Village Veterinary Hospital are amazing and have been caring for my little Polly her whole life. She loves the team and drags me through the front door so she can visit whenever we are near the clinic! Dr. Jason and Dr. Becky are always very patient and thoughtful when responding to all of my questions. Every visit is met with follow-up inquiring how Polly is feeling since her visit. While it was disappointing that we weren't able to fully prevent the need to remove some of Polly's little teeth due to her progressing periodontal issues, I've been very impressed that Dr. Becky has twice now caught a cracked or loose tooth that has hopefully enabled us to avoid the need to remove any more teeth going forward (fingers crossed)!
Very caring team. Thank goodness there’s an emergency clinic to care competently for our animals. Though expensive, they do surgeries on the spot and 24 hour monitoring and care. They need a team that is trained to do this. They are great!

She then also started helping me with my central nervous system. Where I got truly blessed is her specialized training in chest and breast surgery. I recently had a double mastectomy and reconstruction. She has been such a safe space for me pre surgery, and during my healing process. She truly has healing hands and I am so lucky to have Lori as my massage therapist. Highly recommend
