Grassmicks is the only place i go the last few years, except for 1 load of soil i got from the new Bylands which this person nudgedy vehicle when Grassmicks was closed at the beginning of the season. The guy at Grassmicks has never hit my vehicle with the 30 loads of rock, crush, topsoil or wood shavings i have picked up. The guy works to make sure you get a full bucket every time. I dont know what i would do without him.

I can’t recommend Roxy highly enough! She completely rescued a terrible haircut (I have fine, straight hair) and transformed it into a short bob that I absolutely love. The blonde highlights are, without question, the most beautiful I’ve ever had—bright, dimensional, and natural, without the dull, drab toner that so many other stylists seem to use.
I receive compliments on my hair all the time, and people regularly ask me who does it. Jen summarized for confirmation, explained why one of my thoughts would work against my goal and then gave me exactly what I wanted. She was professional and friendly and did a fantastic job. Had my third haircut from sir barber today. I've had three different styles I wanted done. All modern styles. Every haircut has been great. I got a fade today and its in my top 3 fades ive ever had done from any barber at any shop. I would actually rank it number 2 best fade I ever had. If you want an old school barber shop that does modern styles I highly recommend this shop. Everyone that works there is very friendly and professional. You dont need to spend an arm and a leg to get a great haircut. I highly recommend to tip well since they are doing an exceptional job at a very affordable flat rate. I highly highly recommend sir barber and will continue to be a customer and support their business for the foreseeable future and hope everyone that reads them gives them a try!
In Kelowna from Vancouver and needed a haircut, my wife is a hairstylist and she usually does my hair but this was an emergency. The job Brett did is the best cut I have ever had, made me look ten years younger which is a miracle because due to my excessive beer consumption I usually look ten years older. So actually 20 years in total. Really hope my wife doesn't read this.

I have been going to Ken for about 37 or 38 of the 42 years since I was born (basically, since about kindergarten or grade one). Hands down, the cuts are the best. Ken is highly detailed, friendly, and has a great sense of humour. The person that said above it is Kelowna's best secret is very accurate.
Sad to go by today and see that they've shut down their shop. Maybe they've moved? They had a great thing going and I'll miss them in the Pandosy neighborhood.

So i went over to Young nail Bar and they did such a great job for such little time they had to do it! In the meantime i was given coffee and afterwards a free hand massage. I booked the most expensive body treatment which included a body scrub, shower (which was located in the treatment room!) massage and mini facial. I got the signature facial with Joy, and WOW! She was incredibly sweet, and this might sound random but her massage skills made me feel safe and secure. Her hands were magic no matter where she massaged, and the facial was magical too. My mom got the 90 min massage with Grace and really enjoyed the service. The space is calm, welcoming, and very clean!
Only giving 4 stars because it is pretty expensive. You can find similar facials for less in the city, but it's still a great place to go.

I cannot recommend Jasmin enough!! By far the best lash tech I've ever gone to. I've been going to her for volume lashes for the past year and a half and she never disappoints. She always makes sure they look perfect before I leave, and goes above and beyond to accommodate bookings for her regular clients. What is most impressive though is the retention and attention to detail for separation - I can go 2-3 weeks with my lashes still looking full and even, and they never fall out in clumps or leave weird gaps. I always look forward to our appointments - great vibes in the studio and overall lovely person to chat with while I get my lashes done! :)

I had a buried water service line leak and couldn't be happier with the service I received. From the beginning, they took the time to explain the process, made sure utility locates were completed before any excavation, and were honest about the possible repair scenarios without pressuring me into unnecessary work.
Once the line was exposed, they worked closely with the excavator to carefully trace the service line until the leak was found. The repair was completed professionally, and the final solution ended up being much less extensive than some of the worst-case possibilities we had discussed.
Throughout the job they were knowledgeable, patient, and communicated clearly every step of the way. I really appreciated their professionalism and willingness to answer my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing plumbing or underground water service repairs.

When I finally accepted that my air conditioner was sick and dying, I called two other companies before calling Reliance Wrightman, and right out of the gate they were way more professional, accommodating, reasonable and affordable. The same day I called, the technician Dwight came over and quickly assessed and diagnosed the problem, explaining everything to me along the way. Unfortunately, my 14 year-old air conditioner was at the end of its life, so Dwight Quickly arranged for the sales person Grayson To come over later that same day. He also took the time to explain everything to me Thoroughly, gave me several options and put absolutely no pressure on me. I ended up leasing a new unit from them, which comes with free service for not just my air conditioner, but also my furnace and an incredible deal on a UV light. We visited many stores looking to replace our beloved older carpets and of all the stores we visited, we were most satisfied with the selection and assistance here. Most stores sell the same brands but Jordan’s seemed to have the best selection. We really appreciated being able to take home the samples (small refundable fee) and the in home measurements. Erin has been a superb, knowledgeable help from start to finish and beyond - always responding promptly - she knows her stuff and she’s also just a really nice human. We have a solid light maple hardwood floor in our kitchen and dining room. Ok Hardwood installed the floor in 1997. They refinished it in 2007, 2017 and now in 2026. They used Bona commercial grade product and applied 4 coats. The crews take such good care and the solid maple cabinets were not damaged in any way. When the air temperature surged to over 30c the final coat did not cure well. We were so impressed when Cori came to our house to address our concerns. She immediately agreed that the finish was not up to the Ok Hardwood high standard and arranged to have the crew resand and reapply the final coat! Fortunately, the weather cooled the next day and we have a beautifully refinished maple floor! As they say, the mark of a good business is how they deal with problems when things go wrong. We highly recommend Cori, Jeff, Pat and Nick for doing such a professional job!
We purchased our backsplash tile from Julie, she was so helpful and very quick with getting back to me about any questions I had. As we continued our kitchen Reno we realized we didn’t have enough of our current flooring to finish our kitchen flooring and it is now discontinued. We panicked and called every store that carried our flooring with no success. We thought we’d reach out to Julie to see if there was any chance she could find it, within an hour she emailed back saying she found some in a different city and could have it shipped up, we got it in 2 days! She went above and beyond for us and I would highly recommend working with her!

Dylan remodeled a partial wall between our dining and living rooms . It looks and feels great. The project was on time and on budget (actually a little under). Communication was good, he always kept us up to date with the schedule and plan. He was pleasure to work with.
I recently had Fortis come by to change my gas meter, and during the process they discovered two small gas leaks. They recommended calling a gasfitter, so I reached out to Erich from Bennison Construction.
Erich responded quickly and took care of the issue right away. Rather than simply tightening the fittings, he replaced them entirely to prevent future problems. Since the pipe is older and located right by my back door—where it tends to get bumped—I really appreciated his “do it right the first time” approach. It’s exactly what I would have done myself.
I highly recommend Erich at Bennison Construction. I’m not a first-time customer, and once again I’m impressed with his quality of work and professionalism.

I have 2 Husky dogs who were very matted this year. I took them to two other groomers who right away wanted to just shave them. I didn't want to shave my Huskies as their coat might never grow back to the way it was before. My Vet recommended Yuppie Puppy, so I called them and I was given an appointment very quickly. It took many hours and one follow up appointment but they were able to save both of my Huskies coats and did not need to be shaved. Totally recommend this groomer to anyone, they did an awesome job, and both my dogs look and smell great!!!

I was in there today & Bill first worked on my neck & arms. I had pulled a muscle or pinched something in my shoulder area & he worked so hard to relieve the pain I was in. Lori is phenomenal. I’ve been a client of hers for about five years now. I hit the jackpot with her. I initially came to Lori with neck and back pain. She then also started helping me with my central nervous system. Where I got truly blessed is her specialized training in chest and breast surgery. I recently had a double mastectomy and reconstruction. She has been such a safe space for me pre surgery, and during my healing process. She truly has healing hands and I am so lucky to have Lori as my massage therapist. Highly recommend
