Went here during a rainy afternoon for a facial treatment and almost canceled because of traffic. Glad I didn’t. The treatment room was quiet, the lighting soft, and the beautician checked several times to make sure my skin wasn’t reacting badly. My face looked noticeably brighter afterward without that overly oily shine some facials leave behind.
After over a year of health problems and many trips to the ER, seeing over ten separate specialists. I went to try something different to treat my thyroid problems. I tried probably 5 different medications and nothing worked. I’ve been seeing Maria for about two months now and the results are like night and day. My breathing problems and dizziness are gone, my energy levels have returned to normal. Also when I took a blood test recently my thyroid has started functioning normally again. I cannot recommend this enough

Shelby at Rain Salon did such a great job on my hair. I went in for a cut and left really happy with how it turned out. She took her time, listened to what I wanted, and the whole appointment just felt easy and relaxing. I liked it so much that I brought my daughter in the next day, and her hair came out just as good. I had an appointment scheduled with Robbie for a pretty drastic hair change — I wanted to go blonde. I naturally have dark brown hair and had seen him previously, where he gave me beautiful blonde highlights. Unfortunately, he wasn’t available this time, so I decided to see another stylist for my blonde transformation.
After assuring me that my request would be “pretty simple,” this stylist proceeded to give me one of the worst highlight jobs I’ve ever seen or received. I was honestly devastated by the result.
I reached out to Robbie afterward to ask what my options were, and I was met with the most patient, supportive, and thoughtful responses. He took time to research the best solution, walked me through the correction process step by step, and supported me throughout — even though it was a mistake he did not make.
This is truly above-and-beyond service. Not only do I know Robbie does beautiful work with color, but I now know how deeply he cares about his clients both in and out of his chair. He is a true gem, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Alyssa (beauty.with.lyss) gave me a haircut and did such a wonderful job, I wish I had pictures to include. I had a very blunt heavy looking cut when I went in (I cut it myself). She kept my length but gave me layers and dimension. The styling afterwards really surprised me because my hair texture is extremely hard to blowout in one go. But she managed it! I’m very happy with the outcome. I will definitely try to come back to see her again!
Been wanting a perm for a while now and was able to get an appointment with Dani. Everyone here is so professional, kind, and great at what they do. Dani did an awesome job with my perm. I wanted tight curls and she did them exactly how I wanted considering how much hair I had at just shoulder length! Haha. Liz and Jackie are also so sweet! Growing up in ABQ, it has always been a struggle to find someone who knows how to cut curly/kinky mixed hair. I've genuinely never left a salon so happy after a haircut. Chloe did an amazing job. Now its no hate on the nail tech as far as personality. I tipped because I still wanted to be polite and she was still very sweet, but paying almost 90(with tip) just wasnt worth it. I had to even ask her to fix the nails because they were bulky on one side of the nail and i had to ask her to clean under my nails because there was dried acrylicand glue which i still have some stuck to my thumb and nail and its a bit painful to separate. There's almost no apex to the nail so im afraid if I hit my finger in a certain way there goes my whole nail. The nails itself are bumpy and some have bubbles. I do love the color and chrome she used I wanted more but decided to go with very basic because I wasnt satisfied with how my nails were turning out. My cuticles weren't even clipped or managed and I still have a bunch of dead skin I had to maintenance myself. I did see the other techs and they looked amazing with their work I may go back with one of them but that was my first time there and it left a bad experience for me. All I recommend is to ask for their experience going forward. Again the girl was absolutely sweet and she did deserve the tip due to personality but the price itself was not worth what I paid. I hope she continues to grow and succeed though because she does have the personality for customer service.

Her skills are top notch, it doesn’t take long looking through her client photos on her instagram to see what an incredible job she does. Blondes, brunettes, crazy colors, she can do it all. She is also such a sweet sweet person! Can’t recommend her enough.

I have had one good experience after another at Botanica. The expert staff treat me with the greatest kindness. And I love the results! In addition to leaving with smooth, glowing skin, I have also discovered a rose milk cleanser there that I use at home to successfully calm my rosacea. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Albuquerque for facial aesthetic care.
My daughter and I went in and got a new full set of eyelash extensions. They were super nice from start to finish. The place is beautiful very comfortable very clean very professional! I think the only thing is, I would of liked options on the lashes themselves. Not size more so quality of the lash. I think for what we asked for the lashes didn’t really go with the cat eye style we asked for. My daughter and I have very different eyeshapes. But I was very comfortable during the whole process. Very calm relaxing environment. I do think for the price of $400 the lash quality could have been much better. I do want to make it clear the entire full two sets was 400 plus the tip. I think the quality of the lashes could have been better. Not to mislead anyone.

Was trying to get an appointment for my first tattoo and had so many bad experiences with artists until I came across true grit. Alex has done me right sooo many times. today he fixed up an old brain tattoo I got. it was a pretty complicated design, but he ended up using a pic of my x-ray and the old tattoo to revive the original brain scan in a way that fixed the anatomy of the first round, and gave it tons more dimension. Also, he’s done a killer goathead and greyhound for me.

I have been to Evolution on central twice in the last 2 years and can do nothing but sing their praises. The facility is clean and inviting, and the staff is kind and very knowledgeable. Both times I have seen Syndesi, and both times they have taken the time to explain what they were going to do next, so I was comfortable and not caught off guard by anything. It was an easy and calm process and both times I’ve left with a piercing I love and no regrets at all. Cannot recommend them enough.

Ernesto was amazing!!! I called him due to my heater making a loud noise. Not expecting him to show up the same day he got me in his busy schedule! He explained every step in his trouble shooting and was patient in the process. He took parts to his office to work on them and came back the same evening!! He went above and beyond any HVAC person I have ever called. He was honest, trustworthy and very reasonable with his pricing (which is very hard to find now days) and I would recommend him to everyone.
We decided to install two bidet toilet seats which required shutting off the toilet bowl water line and discovered one of the valves was leaking when it was opened. I contacted Zach (who had previously fixed a problem years earlier) in the morning and setup a service call for the afternoon. He and Jesus came in and replaced three valves in short order. They were very professional, efficient, and expedient. They deserve kudos for their teamwork and definitely 5 stars!

The whole process with American leak detection was easy and seamless from my first contact to the service call. The technician David did a thorough investigation and explained everything he was doing.
I called them after trying to unclog my bathroom sink with store products that only made things worse. The plumber arrived on time, cleared the blockage properly, and explained why chemical cleaners can damage older pipes over time. The sink drains faster now than it did when we first moved into the house.
Plumbing problems are terrible but when you can call Stewart is makes it so much better. I have had a lot off plumbing issues and they take care of me.

I hired Bulldog for an EV charger installation, and they provided excellent service. They came out to look at my situation then offered two options explaining benefits and limitations of both. They didn’t try to sell me very hard on the more expensive one but provided neutral advice. After receiving my charger from amazon, they came the next day and installed it. They told me they could come between 1 and 1:30 and were actually at my door at 12:59! And then i got a proper invoice in the email and online payment option via quickbooks. I really wish all my contractor experiences in Abq were like this. Thoroughly recommend them.

As a small business owner it is so important to get back up and running when my equipment takes a dive and Ryan's team is always there as soon as possible. No two week wait times for a technician to come and diagnose the problem, as with some other repair shops in town. They keep you up to date with parts on order and repair times. He was extremely knowledgeable about the provenance of all the rugs he had on display from various countries, and took time to answer all our questions and to explain the meanings of the different colors and markings used by the modern and the older weavers. I had done my homework before we went to the rug gallery, so I knew what prices to expect. Earnest offered a very fair price for the rug we purchased, lower than I had seen in my homework. The rug was promptly shipped by the gallery to our home without any problems and arrived in good condition with a special rug pad that Earnest precut to fit our rug exactly. I made the mistake of hiring a family friend to refinish the floors in my new house. They left scratches and created channels in the floor with the edge of their sander then slathered it with a noxious oil-based polyurethane. It was a mess. When I called Chuck to ask for help, he could have lectured me but instead he was incredibly understanding and came out to assess the situation right away. His team repaired the original scratches and the damage from the botched job, and had my floors looking absolutely gorgeous within the week. At Chuck's suggestion I tried a matte water-based commercial grade finish on my red oak and not only is the finish beautiful and tough enough to withstand my big dogs, but there are no fumes or VOCs left in the house. I should have gone with Select Floors the first time around and would not hesitate to get more work from them. Many thanks to Chuck and Adam for a stellar job.

We looked at MANY local companies for the same LVP floor that we had selected. Hunter was the only one willing to provide licensing and insurance information along with a firm start date. The contract I signed was fair and not angled toward the store. All of this I share as the business model at New Mexico Flooring Solutions is not to pressure clients and to deliver on a schedule what is agreed upon. I found the price for the complete install to be very competitive without any hidden fees. I am pleased with the work which was started ahead of time and finished as promised. I heavily recommend Hunter and his team. They are honest and take pride in the work they do.

This place is great. My Prius broke down in Albuquerque as I was driving from Kentucky to California this past January. When I found out the repairs were going to be more than I could afford at the time, I was in a bind. John at Ayala Storage saved my tail. On a moment's notice he made it so that I was able to store my car there in Alberquerque until last week when I was able to tow it back to Kentucky to have it repaired. They gave me a great price and were more than fair in working with me the whole time my car had me in a pinch. I needed a new in-wall heater installed at one of my properties and also requested a quote to replace a section of Orangeburg pipe. David and his team did an excellent job completing both projects. The new wall heater was installed perfectly, and the wall patch looks great.
When replacing the sewer line, the project ended up expanding because of damaged pipes found under the foundation. David was extremely helpful in addressing the additional work; rather than taking advantage of the situation, he actually reduced costs on some of the other work to help offset the added expense. He also installed a clean-out for the tub, making future maintenance much easier. I really appreciate his honesty, professionalism, and quality workmanship.

I contracted Mark and Marjorie for a major remodel to my house. The result well exceeded my expectations. Their expertise, hands on approach, and the craftsmanship and work ethic of their entire team of subcontractors is top notch and unmatched.Marjorie worked with me for almost a year to design the perfect remodel for my house. It involved moving doors, windows, walls, relocating plumbing through several places in the slab, a complete electrical rewiring plan, rerouting HVAC ducting, punching holes through the roof – this was a BIG project. Through the entire design process, Marjorie and Mark were very resourceful, developing some great design ideas. Everything was done on time, and we were consulted about everything. The work was professionally done, and we expect to have this remodeled porch for many years. I didn't evaluate the cost, because I didn't get competitive bids. Kyle was the first contractor I talked with, and it was clear that he knew what he was talking about. Since his bid was around what I expected it to cost, I thought there was little point in getting additional bids.

Dreaded having to restucco my house. Hud stucco missing from over the nails that hold the wire netting, various cracks, small damage from window replacements, and an area about 2' by 2' where the stucco fell off because of a leaking water bib. The stucco was over 16 years old. While researching stucco companies, I came across Stucco Solutions. I called Steve Abbott to see if repair was a viable option to a complete stucco job. Well bottom line is, I saved thousands, stucco looks good, the repair under the hose bib looks like it never happened. I'm very impressed with Steve. He has a great work ethic, is a stickler in getting it right. He knows what he is doing and his work seems to express his knowledge, work ethic, and commitment to doing the best job possible. While I don't know him other than his work, he is one of the nicest and most straight up guys I've ever done business with. His business is small and he won't put up with a worker that attempts to "cut corners." So thankful there is a business like Steve's.

I’m very pleased with Home Team Pest Defense. The technicians are always willing to go above and beyond to take care of any issues. He sprayed extra when I pointed out a large centipede in our courtyard area. And the day after he sprayed our exterior, there was a dead Black Widow Spider in our dog run area. I am really glad that their spray exterminated it before my dogs got to it.

Ed and Cruz are very faithful--only one time in the last about 18 months, they couldn't come because of weather, but they came the following day. We Hired Lopez Cares Landscaping last spring following the retirement of our previous lawn care guy while my father was hospitalized with kidney failure. By the time we finally got home (two months later) the yard was the furthest thing from our minds. Nevertheless it needed attention. It was incredibly frustrating looking for landscaping/yard care at the start of the peak season, and affordability was a certain priority. I had tried angi’s list, google, thumbtack. You name it, i was on it. Thankfully i received a text from Lopez Cares. I explained our story, and shared some pictures, and what struck me the most wasn’t how professional they were (though they are), it wasn’t how eager they sounded to help (though they were), what struck me the most was their willingness to listen and the empathy and support they showed us for our current situation. I felt like i was speaking with someone who wanted to make it easier for me to make a comfortable home for my father to enjoy in spite of circumstance.
Context aside, Lopez got to work on a weekly cadence to tame the overgrowth, and establish a clean baseline to better understand the needs of the flora, the condition, and potential for the landscaping. We’ve maintained them since. We consistently are given compliments on the condition of our yards, and even our neighbor across the street whose landscaping is a model for which to aspire, has complimented the beauty.

And for no extra cost they planted the new tree I'd picked out at Plant World. They were early, not just on time! They cleaned up afterwards. An elite job, from the estimate through the end of the job. And I didn't pay anything until after the whole job was finished. I'm telling all my friends to use Kiki's for any tree issues. I came to Dr. Rod with constant severe back pain some mornings I could barely move, and my posture was completely off. After my first adjustment, I was already standing straighter.
With consistent care and the exercises he gave me, my pain has improved, my posture is better, and I have more range of motion. Plus, I feel more educated now because Dr. Rod takes the time to break down concerns and ways to improve. It’s been a huge relief to feel normal again and keep up with my wife and four kids.

Anu Neeliyara NP-C the board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner is great and I've liked seeing her more than anyone else I've seen in the Psychiatric field. She is very paitent, she listens and she cares. I have ADHD and I forget things alot (like appts) and she's been very understanding and that alone helps me alot. I have recommended her to people and I will continue to recommend her to anyone that needs a good Psychiatric Healthcare specialist.

Rio Bravo Veterinary Hospital is a blessing to Abq! About 3 weeks ago my puppy had developed an ear infection in both ears. I had called around for price comparisons. Everyone was asking $102, $130 even $190 for the starting exam. That doesn't include the diagnosis or medication. Thankfully, the sister clinic of RBVH had referred me to Rio Bravo Veterinary Hospital. The starting exam was $50.24! I said let's do it! From there Dr. Hansen and Juan took very good care of my baby Thoth. Everyone there has been so nice and helpful. Thank you deeply from me and my baby Thoth ???.

I've been going to Bolton since 2008 and they are great! Dr. Horn was a very good vet (now retired) and Dr. Doran is my vet now, and she has been great also. The vets and staff are always friendly and helpful. They have a huge reception area which I like, and the Paw Plans are nice when my dogs need dental work. You pay over 12 months instead of all at once. I would highly recommend Bolton to anyone!
Dr. Paxton is incredible. He has done so much for my families horses. He has helped so much on those difficult calls.

I used to take my cat Astrid here for grooming frequently. Always extremely kind and wonderful service! I have since moved to a few different states and since moving I can genuinely say: I have not found another groomer as wonderful as Reigning Cats & Dogs. So far nobody has come close to the price or precision of this amazing groomer. I am sad not being able to take my girl here, as they always were patient and kind. If you have a dog or cat in need of a groom, you should ABSOLUTELY bring them here :)
Our dogs have never been better cared for in any other establishment across many states. The owner is very organized and helpful. This is the only place for us!
Took my new rescue now family dog in today. He is a bit loud as a Beagle, and did fine. We go back next month for de-shedding.

We brought my senior CKD girl, Queenie, to this location for a lion cut to address matting on her back legs and stomach after failing to handle it ourselves at home. We worried she would fight, resist, or become nervous beyond what a groomer could or would handle. Despite this being her first visit for grooming of any kind, Queenie did well and came home beautiful and mat-free! The owners are lovely professionals who clearly take their work seriously. She was finished in the exact time frame estimated (3 hrs), and the cost was very reasonable for the amount of time spent and delicate work performed. She got lots of love and compliments. Queenie is naked but feeling much better, and immediately went back to her snacks and treats once we got home. I highly recommend ABQ Cat Grooming for your speciality grooming needs.
Louie, my Welsh Terrier, loves going to see Abie. She is wonderful with him. And he leaves looking smart and feeling good. He will see her again next month. This is a great place with good groomers who really care about dogs.
So happy with their work. I was nervous about taking in my dog as he is very nervous and has never been groomed. They assured us they deal with dogs like this and that everything would be ok. That took away some of my anxiety and by the time I picked him up I was so relieved that he did well and that they did such good work on him. Thank you guys!

Jasmine did a great job on my dog. I had just gotten her recently and her fur was not in the best shape. She looks like a whole dog now. Pricing was great as well

I loved Tru Hot Yoga! I am familiar with hot yoga but a very beginning beginner. I took the hot mobility course that had a lot of dynamic movement. The instructor Julie Trujillo was great - very clear, good at demonstrating and made even the hard flows seem very possible. The vibe is great - everyone was relaxed, and it didn't feel judgy at all.

This is a great studio. I love location and the fact that it is a smaller, more intimate studio compared to most of the studios I've practiced at. I have enjoyed all of the classes I've taken here, but I'd like to recognize two classes/instructors specifically. Rachel with aerial yoga: Rachel has a true gift for guiding people through their practice. She is kind, encouraging and so genuine. You can feel the passion she has for yoga and it's contagious:) I look forward to aerial yoga every week and I also just look forward to seeing Rachel. Her energy is calming and the mix between the music she picks, her unique flows she plans and her positive thoughts she shares... I always feel significantly better at the end of practice ( both mentally and physically ). It's not often you find people like her. The second instructor I'd like to recognize is Jake on Thursday evenings: Jake always greets everyone with such a welcoming smile, I look forward to seeing him. He is very thoughtful about what every attendee would like to focus on and how their body is feeling. He does a great job of making each class unique and challenging. I also love his humor during class which creates a lighthearted environment like you are enjoying a class with a friend. A beautiful studio, I'm glad I am able to attend!

I have practiced yoga for nearly 40 years (which placed me at an age far above the students in the class.) However - everyone was incredibly inclusive. The studio is spacious, clean, basically fabulous with everything you could ever need to be successful in your practice. My class was amazing and the playlist knocked me out! They even threw in the Stone’s Moonlit Mile - that was a first for me in any class. I wish I lived in ABQ and could go here - glad that it is an awesome spot for two of my favorite UNM MD students to unwind and “not think” for an hour a few times a week!
Love this place. You just need to find the right instructor for you but they are all great! I love getting a good sweat in, it's relaxing yet challenging!

Finding Empower Pilates and Lourdes as an instructor was an answer to my prayers! I’ve been practicing Pilates for 25 years and I’ve always been searching for a place where I can learn to use the various pieces of equipment. I had never found a place in Albuquerque with the high degree of professionalism and the variety of the equipment that this Pilates studio offers. I really admire Lourdes’ knowledge and longtime career. She is an amazing instructor that has the teaching experience and creativeness to adapt the variety of exercises to meet individual needs.

I am so grateful to have tried out the intro class for free and have been able to fall in love with Pilates! I have struggled to find a workout that I enjoy and actually look forward to, and reformer Pilates has been it! It has been a wonderful form of self-care and I look forward to it every week. It can be pretty expensive but in my mind, totally worth the cost.
Amazing! I’ve had probably hundreds of massages, and this one has got to be one of the best. The two ladies were so friendly and sweet. They really know how to do deep tissue the right way.
Ms. Mavis fixed me in less than 5 minutes. I have no idea how she did it and I am still amazed. This knee pain I had for several months prevented me from doing a lot of movements. By some miracle I was able to do the movements I haven’t been able to do in several months right in her office. God has blessed her hands and she was so willing to help me and she didn’t even know me. I was just in the building g getting a haircut. She even taught me how to do it myself. I will be back visiting her if I ever get injured again.
I have been dealing with chronic neck pain and stiffness for over a year with little to no relief. Tavia is incredible and really takes the time to understand the best way to help you. Will continue to see her. Highly recommend visiting her.

The best non-invasive radio frequency treatments I've ever gotten. She does facial massage, LED, electro frequency (i think thats what it's called), collagen mask and scalp massage. I feel so pampered after the hour with her and I look refreshed and glowing.
I had such an incredible experience with Emily. You could tell how knowledgeable she was with her intentional movements through my massage. Can’t wait to book her again next month!

I found Arlianne after trying other PTs for a chronic injury related to long-distance running. I had a great experience, and it is worth it to not have to deal with insurance. I was able to bring up new issues as my sessions progressed, and also got new exercises every session to do at home. This helped things stay fresh and feel like I was progressing in my recovery.
I would recommend Artistry in Motion to anyone! Arlianne’s knowledge and ability to explain things in layman’s terms are second to none. She looks at the complexity of your whole body system to analysis what isn’t working. I am so grateful that I have been able to continue to enjoy running with her help!

My son and I had wonderful experiences with the PTs at La Luz. Marisa is a miracle worker and everyone on the team is professional and kind. I recently tried another PT place due to scheduling conflicts but now I know a good PT is worth the wait. The best of the best in New Mexico right here.

We’ve had an incredible experience with Inspirations Early Intervention. It’s a state-funded program that more families should know about. It is such an amazing resource.
Everything is so easy to manage, from scheduling to ongoing sessions, and having our PT come directly to our home made it seamless to stay consistent. The therapists are truly exceptional: so warm, engaging, and skilled at working with toddlers. They created customized, play-based sessions and taught us so much about how to support our daughter’s gross motor development day-to-day.
Beyond the sessions, they also gave us helpful guidance on what to expect next and how to continue fostering her growth. Thanks to their support, our daughter is now meeting, and even exceeding, her milestones.
We’re incredibly grateful and would recommend this program to any family without hesitation.

The results that I get from seeing Dr. Lili are fabulous. I have issues with neuropathy and chronic pain. Great results and once we kind of got to know each other, I found her to be very kind and always thinking of my best interests.

I have been suffering from Plantar Fasciitis for months and months. It was such a relief with how confident Dr. Meade was that she could help relieve the pain and start my heeling process. Pamela is a gem. She provides acupuncture, oil therapy, counseling, and many other very relaxing therapies. At first, I was just like you, skeptical of trying something new, especially her practice being in her home. But listened to my intuition and tried it out, and I am SO GLAD I did!
She takes on the holistic approach in her practice. Through my visits with Pamela I have noticed a feeling of being more grounded, an increase in energy, and an elevation in my mood. And another very interesting discovery is that I found a deeper sense of knowing what to do. Pamela helped me realize that. Ended up seeing Dr. Geoffrey to get my DOT medical card and found his services to be outstanding. His services were less expensive than any other providers in 505, moreover he was scheduling less than a week out compared to 6 weeks out for other providers. Great bedside manner, I will be back. Keep up the great work!

Dr Wang is the most caring DOM. Has helped with different issues, her knowledge of Chinese herbs is immense. I was able to eliminate the chiropractor altogether when I was seeing her for neck/back issues. She assisted correcting my daughter’s thyroid problems, even recommended herbs for a friend in another state having female issues. I sent my friend herbs and she felt much better. You will find NO better DOM in Albuquerque than Dr Wang.
I've been seeing Eva for a few months and I feel great. Reflexology has helped with back and hip pain. I have a overall sense of well-being after each session. I highly recommend her.

Thankful for old school driving. They have given us a structured, and safe placed to send all 7 of our kids, to properly and thoroughly be educated in driving. Just want to say thank you Alfredo. We would recommend old school driving Ed to everyone. Hope to send my grandkids one day
