“I did not think that I would review a barbershop or have the competence to review one. There is always a first....for everything. Legends on Menaul has earned this distinction.

Legends is a happening place. There is a steady stream of customers, with appointment and walk-in as well. The barbers here, especially the owner Solomon, are high on energy, very welcoming, always accommodating and overall given the professionalism and care, just a very a really nice place.

Some of the barbers are morning and daytime folks. Some make themselves available as late as 8 pm in the evening. Most barbers have a steady clientele, especially the established ones.

Barbering is tough work. Many barbers just lack the customer skills, the patience and the tenacity to never give up. Clearly, the ones who survive.....just don't give up.

I cannot end this review without saying a few words about Sharanda Hernandez, my barber. Sharanda is a single mom but will not find an excuse to miss work. Sharanda is a people person, with very good communication skills, and very good at her work. Sharanda is a great role model for single moms....that the odds may be stacked against you....but you can still make it happen.....just don't give up easily.

Legends has started a second store on West side. Wishing Legends the very best as they continue to develop their business. Albuquerque can use good small businesses and we need to continue providing small businesses with all the support necessary for their success.“

Across the street from breaking bad car wash, this place is a hole in the wall barbershop if you will being in business 15+ years is a statement. Jesse jr had the best attitude we are in from Australia for the World Cup and the shop on Saturday was closed by 4pm we arrived at 5:30 Jesse jr was cutting his own hair and was very welcoming and respectful he invited myself and my two kids in myself son and I got shaves to be easy! He made a warm conversation about how it is to be in Albuquerque growing up there and being coincidentally named jesse like JESSE PINKMAN! His father is Jesse SENIOR. We met Jesse JR and Jesse Jrs son is JESSE III we have never been so amazed by a barbershop with a strong family bond his whole FAMILY WORKS THERE 5 or 6 cousins and 2 uncles and his brother everyone in the area if your lucky enough to live close to this barbershop and experience this historical landmark I envy you and this beautiful place you call home!
