My daughter started at the age of four at EAMA and has been with Dr Oster for over 4 years now. She has grown tremendously in the artistic world as well as in her regular life outside the music.
The program is rigorous that students are expected to make progress every week by hitting the weekly goals specifically tailored to their capability. With several decades of experience working with children, Dr Oster understands kids developmental stages and pushes them to reach their best. There will be challenges but the incremental rewards are highly appreciated and celebrated by the EAMA community. Following through the program so far has made obvious impact on my daughter's focus span, logic reasoning, mathematical sense, and overall executive functional skills.
Dr Oster has a well-balanced teaching style that she will adapt to each individual kid's learning aptitude and personality, but her feedback and compliment are always honest and candid based on child's effort and performance. Her upholding of a true but high standard of excellence benefited my daughter very much that enabled her to truly discover herself what made up her musical interest and what's behind of a musical or any passion lies pride and confidence earned after hard work. Cornelius is hands down the best thing at Headlines Hair Studio! He's always so kind, professional, and super personable. Every time he cuts my hair, it feels like I'm catching up with one of my oldest friends. On top of his incredible personality, Cornelius is extremely skilled. When I first started seeing him, my hair was damaged from years of sew-ins, but he helped nurse it back to health. Now, I get trims every two months, and my hair has never looked better. Even though it's usually a dry cut, he takes his time and never cuts corners. He knows exactly how much to trim to keep my ends healthy without changing my hairstyle completely. My hair is growing and looking fuller these days, and I couldn't be happier. Also, the lovely woman with curly hair at the front desk is always so sweet and makes me feel welcome every time I visit. Honestly I’ve been trying different places on and off for two years in my Good Hope neighborhood and have consistently gone every single month for the past 5 months to this salon. I don’t have a particular nail tech that I go to every time because they’re all really great, some definitely more than others. They keep adding things and upgrading the facilities and services, very customer oriented and detailed. Have never had a cuticle bleed or bubbles/lint in polish. I’ve never been rushed through a service, takes a little over an hour for regular pedi and gel mani ($85 but I also got my old gel nail polish removed as part of service). If you’re on the fence or new in town looking for a place to go, you should go here — it’s a safe, reliable, clean salon. Prices are on par for mid-level salon

This is great salon. I came because my mom regularly has Berry do her updo braids style. But that’s not all Berry can do! I went in to get my hair dyed to cover my gray. Berry noticed that it had been a long time since my last trim and did a great cut to get rid of my split ends. The shampoo was lovely. And since I only went in for the dye, I was prepared to leave and do a wash n go at home. But Berry did a beautiful silk press for me. I received so many compliments on the style / curls. I’ll definitely go back! And my mom has her appointment next week!

So, due to the whole entire hoax of the snow fall amounts in the DMV area, my wax appointment was canceled. I had to quickly find another solution, so I traded in my old voucher for a new one on Groupon. What can I say, Tanisha was awesome! She is very knowledgeable and skilled in her craft! Although she used soft wax which I hate, she made the wax quick and painless as possible! I cannot wait to return to try her "rose gold" Brazilian wax services. It took me a long time to find a great tattoo artist after my last two tattoos that were done by two separate artist. One was in 2014 which was my first tattoo and then my second done in 2022. From that point I had a vision for my next few options of other tattoos that I wanted done and only wanted just one artist to stick with for a long time to make them come to life. Well I went to Google and did a long search and came upon Pops Tattoo and saw the work of the artists which all were good but the one that stood out to me was Chuck. Something about his art is very defined and detailed and this is exactly what I was looking for. So i took a chance and I emailed him back in 2023 and showed him my vision of a Phoenix I wanted to get on my thigh. Chuck was very professional and very personable and knowledgeable. He is the type of person that will give you his professional opinion just to ensure you make the right decision for something permanent instead of steering you down the wrong path like some artist would because they just want money and will do whatever you want. After we met, we wrote each other back for about year and some change as I didn't get the tattoo done just yet as I some personal things going on. I made the final decision to just start and get it done this year lol which my husband prompted. I really appreciated Chucks patience. I ended up changing the Phoenix look and decided to have it done on my upper right arm. I am glad I did and once again, Chuck met with me to go over the vision before we set a date to start and of course he is professional as always and detailed how he is going to do the tattoo and the colors as well and how many sessions it will take. When I tell you, getting this tattoo done at some points it does hurt lol and Chuck ALWAYS checks in to make sure you are ok ok and if need a break but the way Chuck does it, its a certain rhythm where after a few seconds you get used to it and he does it with grace and patience and not digging in your skin. It's hard to explain but just know I don't like pain but its tolerable and how Chuck does his tattoos it shows he is truly passionate of his work. He ended up now doing my husbands tattoo. We appreciate you Chuck and the work that you do. We can honestly say, we have finally found the artist we will be sticking too for a very long time. I am looking forward to my next journey of tattoos with Chuck! 🥰

Had a major issue with sewage backup. These guys came out and did a trenchless pipe replacement. Very fast and clean work. 3 days including WSSC final inspection.
Sam was thorough and efficient, getting the job done in less time than projected and being very communicative all the way through.
I thought I was looking at the need to replace a lot of underground drainage pipes around the house. I called Sky and asked if they could someone to evaluate the situation. They sent Mark who arrived at the promised time and was very knowldgable. He suggested that before deciding to scope all the pipes with the camera (which can be costly) he would run water through them. Luckily, all but one drained properly. Mark also, willingly navigated a very cramped crawal space to access the connections to the outdoor hose bib.
I was only charged for the time which was reasonable.
I would reccomend Sky Plumbing.

They recommended the installation of a relatively inexpensive piece of hardware to prolong the life of my water heater and were remarkably patient when a bunch of oatmeal clogged the kitchen sink. Mark replaced my direct vent water heater which was not easy since it was also providing heat to my condo. My condo community also required a statement of compliance which Mark provided.

We had an excellent experience with Sorin Hatnean of SH Electrical Service and highly recommend him. He replaced our very outdated electrical panel, sorted out some “mystery wiring” we inherited from previous owners, installed security lighting and an exterior camera system, and replaced the motor and repaired the wiring for our attic fan. Every job was completed thoroughly and with attention to detail.
He was always prompt, professional, friendly, and exceptionally responsive. He communicated clearly throughout the entire process, answered all of our questions patiently, and made sure we understood our options. We always felt that we were in good hands.

Have had Vahdat/Dena out to my house twice now. He did some fairly extensive work to upgrade my electrical service. Among other things, that included a new panel and sub-panel in my basement. Lots of wiring in basement, and out to the garage which did not have any electricity before.
Vahdat is a very friendly and respectful person. I have high confidence in his work. He had good ideas for certain details, and was also very helpful in the ways he helped actualize my own ideas.

I recently used My Carpet Cleaning Services to deal with issues in a rental home my daughter’s family is about to move into. The previous tenant had multiple cats and dogs, and although the carpets had been cleaned, Rich showed me evidence of many, many recent pet urine stains in the carpeted bedrooms and basements – areas where a toddler will soon be playing. The possibility of bacterial growth in these areas was particularly concerning. This had to be dealt with immediately as we didn’t have access to the house until two days before move-in. Rich was able to assess the problem and discuss all the details with me thoroughly – I knew that the services he was going to provide were all necessary, and there was no “up selling” involved. Rich had his crew out the next afternoon, and the work was completed in a few hours – this involved area carpet cleaning and special, more intensive treatment of the urine spots. He had industrial fans set up so that everything would be dry before furniture was delivered. The entire process was smooth and efficient, something that I greatly appreciated given the stresses of moving and house set-up. There is an additional fee to clean the oven, but it was definitely worth it to have an oven that looks brand new!

Jesse was amazing! We stopped getting hot water and had a plumber come out twice to fix it... But the plumber couldn't figure out what was wrong and charged us a gazillion dollars to tinker with it. We were about to replace our water heater when we had Jesse come take a look. Jesse was very thorough, thought about our entire plumbing system, and came up with the solution in no time. It was a simple fix and it turned out there was nothing wrong with our water heater! He saved us thousands of dollars. He was a pleasure to work with and very easy to communicate with. Mr. Abanto is top notch! A few months ago he helped us mount an impossibly heavy mirror on a precarious wall and did it with a level of service that I've never seen in a contractor, confirming exactly where I wanted it. I felt as if he truly wanted me to be happy with the finished product.

I can't say enough good things about these people. The wood on the floor and top rails of our old deck was cracking. The structure itself was sound, so I just wanted to replace the sections that had deteriorated. I called a number of firms, but they all wanted to tear down the whole deck and replace it, at a much greater cost. Only Garza Contractors was flexible enough to agree to a repair and not a replacement. They also found a way to install Trex flooring, which another contractor told me couldn't be done. The work crew was skilled, courteous and efficient, and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. The cost was quite reasonable, particularly compared to the cost of a new deck. I couldn't be happier with the work they did for me.

My house was built in 1993 and the columns at the front porch and some of the wood trim were beginning to rot. Mr. Lee's company built a privacy screen on my deck several years ago and the work was impeccable so I trusted him to work on this current renovation.After looking at the house and discussing with me his suggestions, he gave me a detailed proposal and before the scheduled time to begin work, he helped me choose paint colors and we added several other smaller jobs to keep my house in excellent shape. Everything was completed on schedule and the result is better than I could have imagined..... better than the original house! My neighbors want to update their houses now and have asked for his contact information! I recommend Home Run Remodelers 100%. When there is so much talk these days of delayed projects, shoddy workmanship and overpricing, it's a relief to know there is someone you can trust!

At my realtor's recommendation I hired Jorca Contractors to get my home ready for sale. It was in bad shape: rotted wood on the outside, one inside ceiling literally falling down, lots of holes everywhere from years of baby gates and various hanging things, wires run everywhere on top of floors and along walls. Carlos and his crew did an amazing job fixing everything, painting, replacing the carpet, replacing all the light fixtures, and outlets. His team took care of a lot of little extras that we hadn't discussed and were not in the contract; they just did everything to make it show well. It looked significantly better than when we bought it 20 years earlier even. The house sold in one day for the full asking price. I was extremely happy with the work and will use him again when I buy my new house for whatever work I need there.

We are very happy with the work that this pest control business did for us. The worker showed up on time, was polite, and did a great job. They looked over our land carefully and went over the process in great depth. During the whole stay, communication was great. The customer service and efficiency were both very high. We strongly advise you to use this company.
Our kitchen had a growing cockroach issue mostly at night around the stove and sink area, which was really uncomfortable. The technician inspected behind appliances and inside cabinets rather than just spraying open spaces. He used gel bait and treated hidden drainage points where moisture was collecting. The process didn’t create a strong smell and we could stay at home normally. We didn’t see instant results, but after three to four days the number dropped noticeably and after a week they were gone. Booking updates could be faster, but the treatment itself was done in a professional and careful way.
I have used Bug Off Pest Specialists on a number of occasions. We moved into a new home and it came with a family of mice wreaking havoc in the basement. Cjei came in and immediately pointed out the obvious signs that the mice had been living in the home for quite some time. In a single treatment he was able to help us close up all areas of potential entry and treat the entire basement area. We haven't seen a single mouse since. We had him back a second time to treat the house for spiders. He is also great with critter removal! They are a family owned business and are very responsive, professional and their follow up is amazing. I highly recommend them!
David/Bee Be Gone is awesome! We had a hornet's nest at least the size of a backpack in the basement ceiling and he was able to take out the entire nest and treat the infested area with insecticide. His flat fee was very reasonable compared to some of the other companies in the area. He was thorough, respectful of our space (such as covering his shoes), and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Dan Law and Terry Psaltis of Garden Gate just gave us an extensive makeover of problem garden beds surrounding a house with serious drainage problems. They sent Isaac with Daniel and Nino — experts and hard-workers who take pride in their work — and THAT is how you will get a superior product! The team would include Lazaro and Alan when more people were needed. From stonework to putting in drains and contouring and grading land so water finally drains properly, they set the stage for future plantings, and mulched and filled in sod so the house already looks manicured. Bonus was they removed leftover tree roots so up-coming electric cabling and irrigation piping would go fast and easy (and much cheaper). Finally, the whole job went faster due to efficiency and an orderly plan of attack. You just can’t find such expertise anywhere or trust a great outcome!

Being pleased with their work, I asked for help designing a landscape project along a 50 foot stone wall. That $2200 job was also done very well in one day. When issues arose, Lily handled them like a boss. I really appreciated her calling me directly to offer a solution. Lily was very kind and highly professional, which makes a huge difference with me.

And I have been going to the chiropractor for a number of years and my pain was just maneable. Dr. Smith - the first visit with her was like as you see me more and more your pain free days will be longer and longer. And WAS THAT NOT THE TRUTH. She must have some magician hands - I swear. I've felt safe and cared for every visit and really can't say enough to sing their praises. Highly recommend.

I saw Dr. Cole at the Rockville location. The office is about an hour and half from where I live. She is highly rated so I selected her as the dermatologist to perform a full body examination for skin cancer.
I was a bit nervous because I have never done this before. After the visit, I was very happy with the results and the service.
It did not take long to fill out the application and to be seen. I arrived there 43 minutes early because I knew-- as a new patient--I would have to fill out an application.
Dr. Cole examined my body thoroughly. I like that she talks to me during examination--asking questions and explaining things to me.
The whole process was smooth from the application to the examination. Thus, I gave a 5*

I regret not coming here sooner. Many times, I visited this shopping center and saw the vet, but I never went in until my rescue cat, Bigotes, became critically ill. Dr. Ogando—what a blessing to have her as a primary vet! she went above and beyond with Bigotes care. The WHOLE office had been amazing to Bigotes and I. Prices are much better here than other vet offices. I suggested to everyone to stop in here before any other vet office. They are open and Sundays too!!! which is a really wonderful opportunity just in case we need them. No words can describe who grateful I'm with Dr. Ogando and all these Staff. Benfield charged me 700$ to not fix the problem. I was recommended this vet and he not only showed me how to give her the medicine (benfield left that out) but she was feeling better within days for much less of the cost. Problem fixed within minutes

There really aren't many authentic Thai massage places can be found in Maryland... so happy I found Kala. Text communications for appointments were efficient. Kala is very nice, calm, professional, and have strong hands. The massage was fantastic. Deep tissue, fought through all the stressful lumps, felt like dropped 10lbs off of my shoulders afterwards. Honestly, $350 for the class + 6 hours of driving is fair! I honestly had fun being in the class and learning. The professors and the staff were funny and very understanding. I passed my test with a near perfect score. And I honestly couldn't have done it without them. I loved this class and I loved being here always a joy and I wish I could've failed my test so that I can restart, yes. It is that fun. (Atleast for me?? Lol.) I reccomended anyone to go here, best place to go to for driving classes.

I really enjoyed my experience at All Sights Driving School. The classroom instruction conducted by Mr. Edwin was informative and helped prepare me for driving on the road. Mr. Edwin and the receptionist worked with me and my schedule to ensure I could complete the driving part of the course which I appreciate. Although I was nervous to drive at first, Mr. Edwin and his other instructor made me feel comfortable and confident in my abilities. Overall, all staff at All Sights Driving School were kind and patient which made the process of working towards getting my license a breeze.
