I also like that they will give folks a cut for free if they are unemployed but trying to get a job. That's the kind of local, community-based company I like to support. And maybe my husband looked a little scruffy when he went the first time, but they asked him if that was why he was coming in because he's trying to find a job and mentioned they offer that service, and I thought that was very gracious because then people don't feel uncomfortable having to ask for charity. Also, their coffee is amazing.“

“I always have a good experience here. I typically get braids or twists with added hair and I really appreciate that they are full service. I have a lot of hair and I know that when I come here my hair will be washed and detangled properly and with care. Other places either do not include that in the price or don’t wash, detangle and blow dry properly. Prices are reasonable and quality of service is great especially if you have natural hair.“
