Piercing in Silver Spring

“It took me a long time to find a great tattoo artist after my last two tattoos that were done by two separate artist. One was in 2014 which was my first tattoo and then my second done in 2022. From that point I had a vision for my next few options of other tattoos that I wanted done and only wanted just one artist to stick with for a long time to make them come to life. Well I went to Google and did a long search and came upon Pops Tattoo and saw the work of the artists which all were good but the one that stood out to me was Chuck. Something about his art is very defined and detailed and this is exactly what I was looking for. So i took a chance and I emailed him back in 2023 and showed him my vision of a Phoenix I wanted to get on my thigh. Chuck was very professional and very personable and knowledgeable. He is the type of person that will give you his professional opinion just to ensure you make the right decision for something permanent instead of steering you down the wrong path like some artist would because they just want money and will do whatever you want. After we met, we wrote each other back for about year and some change as I didn't get the tattoo done just yet as I some personal things going on. I made the final decision to just start and get it done this year lol which my husband prompted. I really appreciated Chucks patience. I ended up changing the Phoenix look and decided to have it done on my upper right arm. I am glad I did and once again, Chuck met with me to go over the vision before we set a date to start and of course he is professional as always and detailed how he is going to do the tattoo and the colors as well and how many sessions it will take. When I tell you, getting this tattoo done at some points it does hurt lol and Chuck ALWAYS checks in to make sure you are ok ok and if need a break but the way Chuck does it, its a certain rhythm where after a few seconds you get used to it and he does it with grace and patience and not digging in your skin. It's hard to explain but just know I don't like pain but its tolerable and how Chuck does his tattoos it shows he is truly passionate of his work. He ended up now doing my husbands tattoo. We appreciate you Chuck and the work that you do. We can honestly say, we have finally found the artist we will be sticking too for a very long time. I am looking forward to my next journey of tattoos with Chuck! 🥰“
