Ivonne at New’d Lash is a master at lashes. Her care and attention to detail are like no one else. I also really appreciate that she is not going to sell you something that will damage your lashes or not work for you.
I came in to have temporary lashes applied for my daughter’s wedding in 3 days. Ivonne very kindly told me that if I did my lashes that day, they might not look as good as they need to at that point, especially for up close photographs. She gave me the option to go ahead and take my chances, do something different or come back the next day. After talking it through and understanding her wealth of knowledge, I opted for a lift and tint with some temporary lashes added next day just for the special event.
I’m so thankful I found Ivonne and feel much more confident in not only having lashes for the wedding but also tinted lashes for the next 6-8 weeks. Thank you Ivonne!

Cyreeta is the best!! She always goes above and beyond. I started using her services a couple years ago after my other stylist of 15 years moved Away. She helped make the transition SEAMLESS and I didn’t realize what I was missing!! Cyreeta is warm and welcoming and never makes you feel rushed. She really knows her stuff when it comes to helping meet your color and cut goals while looking out for and maintaining the health of your hair. Alyssa has totally changed my relationship with my hair! My hair has always been poofy and difficult to style, but after learning about the curly girl method, I decided to try a curly haircut… and it turns out my hair actually has gorgeous waves that I was brushing out without even realizing it.
Alyssa not only gives great haircuts, she’s also a great teacher. She’s taught me how to style my hair in multiple ways, and before seeing her, I had never used a styling product in my life. She walks me through everything she does step by step so I can replicate it at home, and she even offered to set up my phone and record the process so I could follow along later (which I did!).
On top of all that, Alyssa is a ray of sunshine. She has such great vibes, and her studio does too. Spending time with her always feels like a treat. Sometimes her schedule gets pretty booked up, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. I’m so glad I found her!

We have had One Water Systems for ten years now. The quality of both the equipment and service has always been excellent. It was time to replace the 10-year system with a new system. We were extremely concerned that the water be filtered as we live adjacent to a golf course that is frequently fertilized and water subjecting us to possible run-off. Kevin at One Water acknowledged and was familiar with my concerns and assured me that the system both met my concerns regarding appropriate filtering as well as softening. We now have a new fifteen year system. AND, the price was right!

I usually don't think much about grocery runs, but this Vons honestly makes my day every time I go. I checked out with Julia and David recently and they were cracking jokes and talking with me. I don't even remember exactly what we laughed about, but I walked out smiling like I'd just hung out with friends. They are soooo funny. It made something as routine as grocery shopping feel fun. I always appreciate real human interaction, especially nowadays with so many self-checkouts everywhere. Julia and David are the perfect example of why. They're warm, funny, and make you feel welcome. Ronnie is the best barber I’ve ever had and I’ve been going to the barbershop over 40 years now. The guy is an artist, some make brilliant music, some athletes and some artists like Ronnie. He is an absolute perfectionist and is the type of guy that really takes pride in making you look great. I’m always getting compliments up to two weeks after he’s already gave me a cut. He is the man.

Had my appointment on Valentine's Day with Zenny. I was finally using a giftcard so decided to go with something new. Gel extension with ombré design. Although she was hesitant and up front about her skills with ombré, I have complete faith as she's always done excellent work. And she did! Turned out so pretty! I'm obsessed and now I have plans to come in often so Zenny can practice a new ombreé design so we can get her more confident in future ombré requests ??

I have been seen Angela now for about six months and have loved every visit. She is a true artist and has a beautiful attention to detail. I also feel that my nails are very healthy under the gel as she is very careful and mindful of how she treats my natural nails as well. Also have had a few pedicures from other manicures at the salon and they do a beautiful job. The whole atmosphere is very fun. They always have some fun music playing, and everyone is very kind.
Update 7/31/25 Tracy filled in while Angela was out. She did a fabulous job as well!!! Very detail oriented. Thank you! Just over a week after they were done and they are still looking fabulous adding a photo below. It is the sunshine manicure with the flower details.

Got a lash lift and tint with Diana and I’m honestly so happy with how it turned out! She’s super sweet, made me feel really comfortable and even went out of her way to discuss my skin with me. You can tell she really cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. My lashes look amazing curled and lifted. Definitely coming back and would 100% recommend her to anyone thinking about it!
I purchased a LivingSocial coupon to Skin Care Heaven as soon as I moved to San Diego, not knowing that Carlsbad is not quite as close as it seemed. Thus, my lazy self did not want to drive all the way up there, and the coupon expired. However, they were kind enough to still accept it two weeks after the expiration. So I hauled my self up to Carlsbad and got a facial/massage. This was my first facial, and I think it was great. I forgot the names of the ladies who did my facial/massage, but they were both very nice - not pushy at all for upsells, and accommodating to my needs. I'm a bit ticklish, so the masseuse worked around that. It was relaxing and I felt happy afterwards. I probably won't get another facial because my face felt weird afterwards but I think that's because my skin is sensitive. My only qualm with Skin Care Heaven is that it was difficult getting an appointment in because they're pretty busy, but it was a great experience!

Cheryl was incredible!! She did my bridal makeup along with 7 other bridal party makeup on the wedding day. She was easy to work with, made me feel comfortable, and not only listened to what I wanted but executed it perfectly!! I’m not one to wear a ton of makeup so I was nervous having someone else do it and still love how I looked. During the trial she built up the look so I got to see it in different stages and I got to see how I felt after wearing it the rest of the day. I decided to make some changes from the final trial look for the wedding day and she was able to execute it exactly how I wanted it day of. I loved how it turned out and it lasted the whole night too!! Cheryl was a pleasure to work with and have there on my special day! I would highly recommend booking her for your bridal makeup!

This is the go to place for anything wax related. I've had a bikini, lip, eyebrow, and a large patch done (leg) and it's all been good. They haven't raised their prices in forever while everyone else has. Parking here can be challenging so make sure to give yourself enough time. Great owner, good staff, quality service, I definitely recommend.

Excellent day spa! I had a 90-minute sports (deep-tissue) massage with David, and it was intense in the best way possible. I walked in with stiff, sore muscles and left feeling fantastic.

I came in to have temporary lashes applied for my daughter’s wedding in 3 days. You can't go wrong with DFL plumbing as they are honest people, which apparently these days is a rare find. Instead of them making holes and breaking concrete guessing or trying to sell me a costly new pipe system he suggested CPL to find the exact leak location. Rubin was able to repair the leak. I have used this company many times. They treat women with respect and kindness. They dont try to over sell and rip you off. I would use them again and again. My family and friends use them as well and we have never had any issues. I waited until they could fit me in why? because I trust them. Thank you for your honesty and outstanding work.

We had the most amazing experience with Rooter Hero Plumbing! Our 50 year old plumbing system decided to retire without authorization and backed up (you can imagine what) into our new bathroom and toilets. Emergency call and Rooter was there in 3 hours. They quickly identified the problem, were so knowledgeable and thorough. They stayed until almost midnight for the initial phase and the next 2 days over the weekend replacing. Alex is a lifesaver! I have been without a freezer for some time as I have a built in and was afraid of the cost . The drawer was frozen shut and would repeat even after defrost, cleaning and ensuring it was draining. Tried everything! Alex assessed and said he could fix it by installing new rails. The drawer rails were purchased, installed and I am now with a freezer without the giant coast of matching and installing a whole new build. He also has fixed washers/dryers at my home but this last fix demonstrates the thoughtfulness and skill that is the foundation of his business !
Dan was a pleasure to work with. I was working with multiple contractors for my outdoor island and bbq and he was by far the most professional and timely. He sold me a Bull Bbq and was able to match the price from a lower cost competitor. The Bull was a bit smaller than my previous BBq but he was able to have a custom casing made that blended the new Bbq in with the old stone facade. He even polished the BBq for me before he left. I would definitely use him to clean my bbq and buy a new bbq if I ever have to.

Luis and Aaron were prompt, courteous, efficient, and respectful of both me and my furnishings. I have a 2600 sq ft home with both carpeting and ceramic tile. A few animal “accidents” made an additional pretreatment necessary. I also took advantage of a discounted grout sealant (I would have added that initially, but it wasn’t offered to me). That made the total about 50% more than the original estimate, so be prepared for the upsell. There was one area that had been bleached by previous cleaning products and they were unable to change that, but overall I’m quite pleased as the remainder of the stains are gone and everything looks and smells great! It was a pleasant experience and I would use ZeroRez again.

Absolutely wonderful! This was our second time using Faster Upholstery & Rug Cleaning and, once again, we’re extremely happy with the results. Ethan and his team did an amazing job turning our small 50 year old galley kitchen into a beautiful modern kitchen twice as big. We couldn't have more than two people in the old one and now there is room to move, much more counter space, no dead spaces in the cabinets and an open concept. Just what I wanted!

They had to remove our sliding glass door and replace it with a slightly smaller one, and you can't even tell on the outside of our stucco home that the new one isn't original. The match to our stucco and even the paint color is perfect!

When I found Born and Raised I was skeptical but also just praying someone would know how to help me. From my very first appointment with Dr. Tiffany, she made me feel like there was hope. My daughter is a professional jiu-jitsu fighter. One Saturday she landed on her head during a tournament. She couldn't walk and she was screaming in pain. Dr. Dahl gladly saw her immediately even though she wasn't an existing patient. He was able to realign her back and she walked out the door good as new. The entire office was super caring and made us feel like family. I learned while I was there that he offers free chiropractic for kids on Saturdays! He does what he does out of love. He's not the doctor who will rush you through. When you walk in the office everyone knows your name, just like Norm. It's great!

After just 3 weeks of having our dog he managed to swallow a very large rock, began throwing up, and was very lethargic. We brought him in to see Dr. Hall who examined him, advised us of all our options, and helped us make a well informed decision in a very scary time. Dr. Hall prioritized the health of our dog, re-arranged her schedule, and rushed our pup into surgery so that we could have the best possible outcome. I have taken from three different instructors and while each has been very different, I have truly enjoyed each one. Love the availability of classes and the diversity of instruction. I have found my new home studio!!!

Such a welcoming environment and a great traditional Pilates workout. I stopped by for a class while on vacation in Carlsbad and enjoyed the atmosphere of this studio.
This was my first reformer Pilates class and Madi was very welcoming and her instructions made it easy to follow the class. I enjoyed my first class and looking forward to taking reformer Pilates this year. I would recommend and looking forward to my next class.

From the bottom of my heart, working with Shannon has changed my life. I’m 32 and three years ago, I was having debilitating neck and back pain. I was working with a chiropractor, massage therapist and acupuncturist, and I’m a certified yoga teacher.
Still, I found myself in the ER/urgent care every other month to receive steroidal injections and painkillers. As someone who values a more natural approach to wellness, my doctor recommended (actually prescribed) Pilates. He said, “I bet you’ll be in here a lot less if you try it.” And he was right.
I found Shannon via Instagram when I was living in La Costa. After a quick phone call and preliminary session, I was hooked. We started slow and easy because I was rehabbing so many injuries and over the last three years have built our way up to more challenging and advanced pilates.
Everything from classical to experimental, there’s never a dull moment with Shannon—she’s the best. I recently was re-examined by my chiropractor, and they said they were shocked by how much my spinal issues improved — there are nearly no lingering signs of scoliosis, and I owe it to Pilates in Aviara!

Jasmine is absolutely the best! This is my 3rd time visiting this place and I can’t say enough good things! I’m a plumber by trade always in tight areas like an attic or basement and have chronic back pain and constant pinched nerves in my back and my neck. I didn’t even explain any of the symptoms I had but Jasmine is so beyond amazing that she pinpointed exactly where my pain was and like magic the pain went away. She is completely precessional, kind and has very strong knowledge of the body! I’m beyond impressed. I only wish I knew about this place sooner! I highly recommend to anyone that needs any sort of relaxation, pain relief or anything of the sort, it will be the best decision for your body! Have been here a few times now and have always left feeling way better than when I walked in. Lindsay is fantastic - I’ve gotten a massage with cupping twice, and a massage with no add-ons by itself and every experience has been great. Highly recommend the cupping - it helped my upper back/shoulder tension and pain. Daniela at the front desk is also super helpful and knowledgeable. When deciding what add-ons I wanted to do, she walked me through what each one would entail and even gave me advice based on the areas I wanted the most help in. Can’t wait to try the hot stones and aromatherapy in my next visits!

Came here after a day at Disneyland and had one of the best foot massages ever. The owner was so nice and friendly, and her foot massage and pressure was strong.

Best massage I’ve ever had and I’ve had many! Samantha is truly so talented, hardworking and passionate about the work she does. A true body expert who hires other real-deal massage therapists who take a real professional interest in everyone they work with. Each session I walk out really changed. I have a lot of medical needs so Samantha, Claudia, and Erin have all really helped me with various health issues that have been really life-changing. From gentle therapy, to really getting under the hood of my body and changing things for the better. Lymphatic massage here as well is excellent and you should be careful where you go for such work.
I got in with Britt the same week I messaged her, after finding her through great reviews. It was truly the best massage I've gotten. I've been having some lower back pain and she knew exactly where to work and used just the right amount of pressure. And being able to lay on my stomach was a huge plus! I've already booked another session and plan to keep coming throughout my pregnancy!
Impossible to explain what an amazing experience this was. It wasn't easy to get my first deep tissue myofascial massage work done at 67. But that was what I asked for, and what the surgeon and I agreed needed to be done! The bodywork was intense but it was WELL WORTH the result. I was exhausted for two days (but strangely not bruised or tender) from all the toxin release. My life is pretty much changed - as I have more energy and stamina - stand straighter and feel MUCH BETTER!!! I was heading towards another surgery and now I am not....Going back as soon as I can! I would always recommend this place to anyone looking for PT. They are also very educated in many different areas and can help with so much! Their front desk is also very educated in the knowledge of insurance and can help you with any documentation or questions you might have. They have the perfect balance of professional and personal!

Before my sessions with Willow, I had come to accept that my back discomfort was something I must learn to deal with as I grow into my 40s. My arm went from 20% mobility to full mobility in the first visit. After the second visit I was able to walk without pain for the first time in years. Dr George is the best acupuncturist and body practitioner I've ever been to, and I highly recommend him to anyone suffering from pain or limited mobility. I referred my friend to him and saw her after the visit - she was in awe and filled with gratitude at how good she felt - said she got her body back. Reasonably priced for the services rendered - he's worth twice what he charges.
Dr. Santiago is amazing! I just had my first acupuncture appointment, and it was possibly the most relaxing experience I've ever had. I'm naturally skeptical but the treatment left me pain free for the rest of the day. My mood was transformed. My wife was happy to hear that I finally had some relief and could tell the difference over the phone right after my appointment. Just walked more like floated out of my accupuncture session with Kim Fried. My body mind and spirit feel so perfectly content. Accupuncture as a modality is just so unique and beyond that every practitioner tends to wield their own particular brand of magic. I believe Kim is called to guide those of us on a journey to emotional healing as much as she is called to guide her patients towards achieving their physical goals. Her gentle line of questioning and her confidence in adding her intuitive read to my responses as she works on needle placement creates an environment of ease, trust and safety. We worked on grief and acceptance today in addition to hormone balance and improving immune system. 10/10 definitely highly recommend Kim and her heart guided needles.

Kimberley was recommended to me by a friend several years ago after I had been dealing with residual recovery issues following multiple fractures and nerve damage in my foot. I was extremely apprehensive to see an acupuncturist after a very bad experience the first time, but Kimberley reassured me that this would not be the same experience - and she was right! She took time in our initial assessment to not only understand the primary reason for my visit, but also to gain an understanding of my complete health profile and any other concerns I may want to address. Her approach was very comprehensive, including not only traditional acupuncture, but also providing educational materials and nutritional guidance. She was also realistic about what acupuncture can help with and what it can't. For my injury, certain things just take time. I'm pleased that after just a few visits I saw a marked improvement in several aspects of my recovery and have implemented routine acupuncture as part of my whole body wellness.
Fast forward a few years and I found myself in need of more acute acupuncture this past Fall. I couldn’t possibly see anyone but Kimberley. She was still just as amazing as the first time I saw her and I’d still recommend her to anyone who wants a thorough, thoughtful, effective acupuncturist.

Marc was absolutely wonderful. He taught my son how to drive including important information on defensive driving. He was so well prepared he earned a perfect score on his driving test. Scheduling was super easy and he picked him up and dropped him off at locations that worked for us (school, home etc). He was positive, built confidence for my son and updated us after each lesson with progress, what he needs to work on etc. Will definetely be using Marc again for my next driver!!!
