We’ve had an wonderful experience with Monarch Therapy. The therapists are incredibly knowledgeable, focused, caring, and enthusiastic. They always turn each activity into purposeful, targeted progress. Over the last 6 months of attending OT here, our child’s gross and fine motor skills have improved, along with his ability to self-regulate and most strikingly his ability to express himself when he's overwhelmed instead of shutting down. Every session is fun, purposeful, and a great workout too. Our kid absolutely loves going.

I cannot say enough great things about Steve Ingraham. His experience and knowledge were very apparent from quote process to the completion of the job. Him and his team absolutely transformed our travertine floors and shower on our house before we listed it for sale. The whole experience was amazing.
Steve offered a fair price, phenomenal service, navigated around painter, electrician, and even a Home Depot appliance delivery. He looked like a Director to an orchestra working around all the distractions in the house. He even offered up tips to have Home Depot not scratch our floors as they changed out a stove and dishwasher.

My two 20 year old heater/cooler systems went out this year needing replacement for my entire 4,000sqft house. Tim was $4,000-$6,000 cheaper than the nearest other quotes I got from different companies for the same size York AC/heaters. Tim handled everything hauled away all the old equipment and installed the 2 new systems fast and effectively. I highly recommend Tim and his team they’re straight shooters and as a women I approve!

Ivonne at New’d Lash is a master at lashes. Her care and attention to detail are like no one else. I also really appreciate that she is not going to sell you something that will damage your lashes or not work for you.
I came in to have temporary lashes applied for my daughter’s wedding in 3 days. Ivonne very kindly told me that if I did my lashes that day, they might not look as good as they need to at that point, especially for up close photographs. She gave me the option to go ahead and take my chances, do something different or come back the next day. After talking it through and understanding her wealth of knowledge, I opted for a lift and tint with some temporary lashes added next day just for the special event.
I’m so thankful I found Ivonne and feel much more confident in not only having lashes for the wedding but also tinted lashes for the next 6-8 weeks. Thank you Ivonne!

Ronnie is the best barber I’ve ever had and I’ve been going to the barbershop over 40 years now. The guy is an artist, some make brilliant music, some athletes and some artists like Ronnie. He is an absolute perfectionist and is the type of guy that really takes pride in making you look great. I’m always getting compliments up to two weeks after he’s already gave me a cut. He is the man.

I took my 18 year old here to try a new place and Anthony was excellent. Not only was the cut great, it was exactly what my son wanted, plus he gave him easy-to-do tips for styling. My son definitely plans to return.

Yesterday was my very first professional spray tan, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Andrea immediately made me feel comfortable with her warm personality, and she took the time to explain every step of the process, answer all of my questions, and share tips on how to get the best results.
I left feeling confident and excited, and I absolutely love how my tan turned out. It's clear she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. If you've been nervous about getting a spray tan like I was, Andrea is the person to go to. I'm so glad I finally did it, and I'll definitely be back before my European vacation!
Now called Salt and Light Wellness. I have been able to try out their new services from the infrared sauna, cold plunge, medical grade red light, and VersaWell fit spray and I must say doing all four in one visit made me feel refreshed. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the cold plunge. It worth visiting and trying. The staff is so nice and the owners Shanthi and Tim are amazing people. I love their new services.

Vicky at Nail Design in Carlsbad is truly the best. She is always so friendly, kind, and welcoming, and I love how easy it is to text her to book, usually every three weeks, but she’s also amazing about fitting me in when I have a nail emergency. Her assistant Vin is just as wonderful: extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. The salon itself is spotless, with a huge selection of colors, brand new nail stations, and fabulous pedicure chairs that make the whole experience feel elevated and relaxing. I have been coming here for years and highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great service and a consistently wonderful experience.
Also, as a long-time client, I feel compelled to respond to a couple new reviews posted the same day which are inconsistent with the experience I’ve had at Nail Design. Vicky and her team are professional, kind, and go out of their way to treat clients well. I’ve always found the salon to be clean, organized, and welcoming. It’s unfortunate when negative reviews, especially from accounts with no other history, can misrepresent a small business that consistently provides great service.

Had my appointment on Valentine's Day with Zenny. I was finally using a giftcard so decided to go with something new. Gel extension with ombré design. Although she was hesitant and up front about her skills with ombré, I have complete faith as she's always done excellent work. And she did! Turned out so pretty! I'm obsessed and now I have plans to come in often so Zenny can practice a new ombreé design so we can get her more confident in future ombré requests ??

There are alot of happiness nails... do yourself a favor and choose this one in la costa! The technicians are so detailed oriented and friendly. They were so great with my 6 year old- patient and friendly! And they told me the nail salon hosts bday parties, which we will definitely look into! I live the banter they have with their regular customers- it gives you the impression that they really care about their clientele. Our nails look great and it didn't break the bank! I pass about 4 different, closer nail salons on my way here but i keep having mediocre experiences- this will be my new go to nail spot!!

Susan was a delight to work with. She is very professional, really wants to know what you would like to have done to your hair, pleasant, and kind person I have ever met. Besides being a great stylist, she was an excellent teacher by telling me different ways I could style my hair and she explained it fantastically.

I purchased a LivingSocial coupon to Skin Care Heaven as soon as I moved to San Diego, not knowing that Carlsbad is not quite as close as it seemed. Thus, my lazy self did not want to drive all the way up there, and the coupon expired. However, they were kind enough to still accept it two weeks after the expiration. So I hauled my self up to Carlsbad and got a facial/massage. This was my first facial, and I think it was great. I forgot the names of the ladies who did my facial/massage, but they were both very nice - not pushy at all for upsells, and accommodating to my needs. I'm a bit ticklish, so the masseuse worked around that. It was relaxing and I felt happy afterwards. I probably won't get another facial because my face felt weird afterwards but I think that's because my skin is sensitive. My only qualm with Skin Care Heaven is that it was difficult getting an appointment in because they're pretty busy, but it was a great experience!

Cheryl was incredible!! She did my bridal makeup along with 7 other bridal party makeup on the wedding day. She was easy to work with, made me feel comfortable, and not only listened to what I wanted but executed it perfectly!! I’m not one to wear a ton of makeup so I was nervous having someone else do it and still love how I looked. During the trial she built up the look so I got to see it in different stages and I got to see how I felt after wearing it the rest of the day. I decided to make some changes from the final trial look for the wedding day and she was able to execute it exactly how I wanted it day of. I loved how it turned out and it lasted the whole night too!! Cheryl was a pleasure to work with and have there on my special day! I would highly recommend booking her for your bridal makeup!

This is the go to place for anything wax related. I've had a bikini, lip, eyebrow, and a large patch done (leg) and it's all been good. They haven't raised their prices in forever while everyone else has. Parking here can be challenging so make sure to give yourself enough time. Great owner, good staff, quality service, I definitely recommend.

I’ve been coming here 10 years it’s my favorite! The staff is so thoughtful and very good at what they do!! I get the 90 minute foot soak I always feel so relaxed after.
I received the 80-minute on the rocks treatment which includes a hydrating scrub and massage. Definitely one of my favorite spa treatments I’ve ever recieved. Heidi, my massage therapist was incredible! She’s so knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. The receptionist was so kind and accommodating. The pool was very close to the spa and easy to find. My only complaint is the lack of a dry sauna and hot tub on property, which is not the staff’s fault of course; they were wonderful.

You can't go wrong with DFL plumbing as they are honest people, which apparently these days is a rare find. Instead of them making holes and breaking concrete guessing or trying to sell me a costly new pipe system he suggested CPL to find the exact leak location. Rubin was able to repair the leak. I have used this company many times. They treat women with respect and kindness. They dont try to over sell and rip you off. I would use them again and again. Alex is a lifesaver! I have been without a freezer for some time as I have a built in and was afraid of the cost . The drawer was frozen shut and would repeat even after defrost, cleaning and ensuring it was draining. Tried everything! Alex assessed and said he could fix it by installing new rails. The drawer rails were purchased, installed and I am now with a freezer without the giant coast of matching and installing a whole new build. He also has fixed washers/dryers at my home but this last fix demonstrates the thoughtfulness and skill that is the foundation of his business !
Dan was a pleasure to work with. I was working with multiple contractors for my outdoor island and bbq and he was by far the most professional and timely. He sold me a Bull Bbq and was able to match the price from a lower cost competitor. The Bull was a bit smaller than my previous BBq but he was able to have a custom casing made that blended the new Bbq in with the old stone facade. He even polished the BBq for me before he left. I would definitely use him to clean my bbq and buy a new bbq if I ever have to.

Luis and Aaron were prompt, courteous, efficient, and respectful of both me and my furnishings. I have a 2600 sq ft home with both carpeting and ceramic tile. A few animal “accidents” made an additional pretreatment necessary. I also took advantage of a discounted grout sealant (I would have added that initially, but it wasn’t offered to me). That made the total about 50% more than the original estimate, so be prepared for the upsell. There was one area that had been bleached by previous cleaning products and they were unable to change that, but overall I’m quite pleased as the remainder of the stains are gone and everything looks and smells great! It was a pleasant experience and I would use ZeroRez again.
Huge shoutout for the carpet cleaning service! I usually am not much of a carpet person, especially with pets in the house, but Asher really worked magic on my carpets and did a fabulous job. It was absolutely worth it. As a business owner, I also appreciate the same simple philosophy that good carpet care should bring solid value. It may not be the cheapest option, but it is not the most expensive either, and the quality shows. I have tried to save money on carpet cleaning before, so I understand wanting the lowest price, but you really do get what you pay for. In the long run, it costs more when you focus only on the price and not the value, deep clean, and results. I am so happy with how fresh, clean, and revived my carpets look now. Pet traffic and everyday wear had really built up, and the difference after the cleaning was easy to see right away. I only wish I had called sooner to have my carpets rescued and refreshed.

Ethan and his team did an amazing job turning our small 50 year old galley kitchen into a beautiful modern kitchen twice as big. We couldn't have more than two people in the old one and now there is room to move, much more counter space, no dead spaces in the cabinets and an open concept. Just what I wanted!

My name is Bethany Williams and I live in Escondido California. I wanted to share the wonderful experience I have had at the Gohl chiropractic clinic in Carlsbad with Dr. Joseph P Kametz. I actually first reach out for my 26 year old son Evan who has Down’s Syndrome and has had terrible back and nerve pain which began Dec. 2024, after a car accident. Evan was getting physical therapy and acupuncture which helped but the pain always came back. With Dr. K, Evan started feeling the results right away and after 6 adjustments the nerve pain stopped and the pain in his back is much better and manageable. That is why two weeks after Evan started going, my lower back started to hurt again so I decided to make an appointment to see if he could help me with the pain I’ve had for almost 20 years. I usually can manage it with hot Yoga however over the past five years, the pain has been more severe. I love that this clinic takes x-rays prior to your first adjustment and then they take another set of x-rays after your 20th adjustment where he shows you the improvement which in my case, was unbelievable!
Dr. K is very knowledgeable, gentle and deliberate unlike the adjustments I have received from another chiropractor in town, which seemed too quick and sometimes stressed me out because of the force used.
Dr. K is also helping me with my osteoarthritis pain that I have in my neck. In addition to feeling better, I have learned so much about why chiropractic care is important and how it affects the entire body not just the pain that I am currently having.
I’m thankful that our family has found a Chiropractor that we can hopefully see for the rest of our lives to maintain our healthy lifestyle. On a sidenote, my husband is going now for pain in his lower back and hip and my son Evan loves going to Dr. K. He always makes Evan feel very special and he’s never stressed about the adjustment. Dr. Tiffany, hands down, saved me during my pregnancy. I went from being very active during my pregnancy to hardly being able to walk without pain and a limp. We read some reviews and called Coastal, they got us in the same day, and treated us and our dog so kindly. No judgement, just all love and treats. While cost should not dictate the health of your loved ones, it is of course an issue. I was so pleasantly surprised with how reasonable and fair Coastal is. They even gave us a couple of options to order medications outside of their office to help us save some money. I cannot begin to thank the Canyon Creek Animal Hospital Staff and Dr. Hall enough for how they helped our pup and our family in a very very stressful time. We brought him in to see Dr. Hall who examined him, advised us of all our options, and helped us make a well informed decision in a very scary time. Dr. Hall prioritized the health of our dog, re-arranged her schedule, and rushed our pup into surgery so that we could have the best possible outcome. And with all of that she still gave us a detailed breakdown of cost and helped to make it as affordable as possible. If you're looking for a great vet who cares about the animals and their owners this is the place to go!

We are new to the area and found Dr. Fife here at this office. The staff and Doctor are amazing. They have been very professional and caring. Dr. Fife was prompt in helping take care of our poodles-one which had to have emergency care. She is very knowledgeable and we are impressed with the great care she has given our 4 legged family members. The techs have been amazing each visit. The office is clean and in a great location. We signed up to use their petly plans and are happy with that service as well. Highly recommend if you have puppies!
Dr. Goode is amazing. She was so patient with my big guy and made him feel comfortable. He doesn’t like his paws touched and she got it done! Vet techs are awesome and just overall a great experience.
The entire staff at the hospital is fantastic, but Taylor stands out as a truly wonderful and caring vet tech who goes above and beyond. Location has a homey feel and the vets are not knowledgable, but personable as well. I have had teeth cleaned/pulled for 2 cats and they always try to save teeth and keep prices down.

Jasmine is absolutely the best! This is my 3rd time visiting this place and I can’t say enough good things! I’m a plumber by trade always in tight areas like an attic or basement and have chronic back pain and constant pinched nerves in my back and my neck. I didn’t even explain any of the symptoms I had but Jasmine is so beyond amazing that she pinpointed exactly where my pain was and like magic the pain went away. She is completely precessional, kind and has very strong knowledge of the body! I’m beyond impressed. I only wish I knew about this place sooner! Have been here a few times now and have always left feeling way better than when I walked in. Lindsay is fantastic - I’ve gotten a massage with cupping twice, and a massage with no add-ons by itself and every experience has been great. Highly recommend the cupping - it helped my upper back/shoulder tension and pain. Daniela at the front desk is also super helpful and knowledgeable. When deciding what add-ons I wanted to do, she walked me through what each one would entail and even gave me advice based on the areas I wanted the most help in. Can’t wait to try the hot stones and aromatherapy in my next visits!

Best massage I’ve ever had and I’ve had many! Samantha is truly so talented, hardworking and passionate about the work she does. A true body expert who hires other real-deal massage therapists who take a real professional interest in everyone they work with. Each session I walk out really changed. I have a lot of medical needs so Samantha, Claudia, and Erin have all really helped me with various health issues that have been really life-changing. From gentle therapy, to really getting under the hood of my body and changing things for the better. Lymphatic massage here as well is excellent and you should be careful where you go for such work.
Impossible to explain what an amazing experience this was. It wasn't easy to get my first deep tissue myofascial massage work done at 67. But that was what I asked for, and what the surgeon and I agreed needed to be done! The bodywork was intense but it was WELL WORTH the result. I was exhausted for two days (but strangely not bruised or tender) from all the toxin release. My life is pretty much changed - as I have more energy and stamina - stand straighter and feel MUCH BETTER!!! I was heading towards another surgery and now I am not....Going back as soon as I can! I was fortunate enough to find Dr Scarlett, as she’s one of few that work with my insurance. I came in with a number of issues from pain to hormonal imbalance. Dr Scarlett’s office is warm and welcoming. She’s professional, kind, attentive, and has wonderful bedside manner. She pays attention to detail, from: different room temperatures according to your preference, bed warmers, call lights, soothing music, etc. She listens to your concerns and addresses them as needed. I’m impressed with her alternative therapy techniques (Acupunture, red light, fire cupping, etc). Dr Scarlett has done a great job identifying the areas that need work and I walk away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. She’s already done wonders in just a few weeks. I’d highly recommend Dr Scarlett and her services.
Forever grateful that my wife introduced me to the Aviara Team after her acupuncture treatments with Nenita. Before my sessions with Willow, I had come to accept that my back discomfort was something I must learn to deal with as I grow into my 40s. My arm went from 20% mobility to full mobility in the first visit. After the second visit I was able to walk without pain for the first time in years. Dr George is the best acupuncturist and body practitioner I've ever been to, and I highly recommend him to anyone suffering from pain or limited mobility. I referred my friend to him and saw her after the visit - she was in awe and filled with gratitude at how good she felt - said she got her body back. Reasonably priced for the services rendered - he's worth twice what he charges.
Dr. Santiago is amazing! I just had my first acupuncture appointment, and it was possibly the most relaxing experience I've ever had. I'm naturally skeptical but the treatment left me pain free for the rest of the day. My mood was transformed. Just walked more like floated out of my accupuncture session with Kim Fried. My body mind and spirit feel so perfectly content. Accupuncture as a modality is just so unique and beyond that every practitioner tends to wield their own particular brand of magic. I believe Kim is called to guide those of us on a journey to emotional healing as much as she is called to guide her patients towards achieving their physical goals. Her gentle line of questioning and her confidence in adding her intuitive read to my responses as she works on needle placement creates an environment of ease, trust and safety. We worked on grief and acceptance today in addition to hormone balance and improving immune system. 10/10 definitely highly recommend Kim and her heart guided needles.

Kimberley was recommended to me by a friend several years ago after I had been dealing with residual recovery issues following multiple fractures and nerve damage in my foot. I was extremely apprehensive to see an acupuncturist after a very bad experience the first time, but Kimberley reassured me that this would not be the same experience - and she was right! She took time in our initial assessment to not only understand the primary reason for my visit, but also to gain an understanding of my complete health profile and any other concerns I may want to address. Her approach was very comprehensive, including not only traditional acupuncture, but also providing educational materials and nutritional guidance. She was also realistic about what acupuncture can help with and what it can't. For my injury, certain things just take time. I'm pleased that after just a few visits I saw a marked improvement in several aspects of my recovery and have implemented routine acupuncture as part of my whole body wellness.
Fast forward a few years and I found myself in need of more acute acupuncture this past Fall. I couldn’t possibly see anyone but Kimberley. She was still just as amazing as the first time I saw her and I’d still recommend her to anyone who wants a thorough, thoughtful, effective acupuncturist.

Marc was absolutely wonderful. He taught my son how to drive including important information on defensive driving. He was so well prepared he earned a perfect score on his driving test. Scheduling was super easy and he picked him up and dropped him off at locations that worked for us (school, home etc). He was positive, built confidence for my son and updated us after each lesson with progress, what he needs to work on etc. Will definetely be using Marc again for my next driver!!!
I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Walter. Before starting my lessons, I was in a different situation than most new drivers. Nobody in my family has ever had a driver’s license, and we’ve always relied on the bus to get around. So, in my 21 years of life, I had never even touched a steering wheel before my first lesson.
I was also pretty nervous going into the process because I had no way to practice outside of my lessons. Every bit of driving experience I gained was with Walter. Despite that, he was incredibly patient with me and helped me build my confidence and skills from the ground up. He took me from having absolutely no experience behind the wheel to being comfortable driving on busy roads, through intersections, changing lanes, and even on the freeway.
What I appreciated most was that Walter never made me feel discouraged when I made mistakes. He pointed out what I needed to improve on and gave me the opportunity to keep working on it until I got better. I could genuinely see my progress from lesson to lesson.
I was especially nervous going into my driving test because I hadn’t driven at all for about three weeks beforehand. However, everything Walter taught me came back quickly once I was behind the wheel, and I ended up passing my driving test on my first attempt!
Considering I started without ever having touched a steering wheel and had no opportunity to practice outside of my lessons, I don’t think I could have asked for a better instructor. I’m incredibly grateful to Walter for helping me accomplish something that once felt so far away. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone learning how to drive, especially someone who is starting with little to no experience. 5 stars all across the board!
