The vet decided my cat didn't need to have her anal glands expressed and put her thru the stress of it. Nicole the nurse mentioned that my cat had some mats in her fur, then she worked on breaking them apart using her long nails. Then she got a comb and brush, then she shaved a couple. Very much appreciated.
Carlsbad Animal Hospital cared for my dogs for many years, and after searching for the right veterinary practice, I ultimately chose to stay with them because of the quality and consistency of care. Although the primary veterinarian I worked with most is no longer there, my overall experience with the veterinary team has been very positive.

I really can't say enough great things about Carlsbad Animal Hospital. Every time I take my Frenchie, Rumi, here, she has a blast, which I can't say is normal for any animal I've ever had going to the vet.
Because of her being a Frenchie and having crazy allergies, it's been absolutely convenient to come here for her Cytopoint injections. It's really nearby, so I can just go on my lunch break, take Rumi, and get it knocked out.
I very much appreciate the convenience and the cost. Plus, everyone's attentiveness is wonderful; they are very conscious about my budget and are always patient in talking me through the care options for my sweet Rumi.
