I first went to Natalie Urban as an emergency to get my hair fix and treat due the damage another salon caused. I will say I have zero complaints and highly recommend Natalie to any of my friends and family. She has treated my hair from the bleach damage I had and it has grown so much. This is a true traditional barbershop — small, welcoming, and proudly family run across three generations. The focus isn’t on trendy décor or gimmicks. It’s on what matters: clean, quality cuts, great conversation, and fair prices.
I walked in without an appointment and knew within minutes this would become my new forever barber. After trying several places around the area and leaving disappointed more than once, this place finally got it right.
Even if you don’t live nearby, it’s worth the trip. Located right along Highway 101 and surrounded by great local eateries, it’s easy to turn a simple haircut into a nice stop while enjoying Encinitas.

My car got a flat tire so while I was waiting for a tow truck, Aaron did a great job doing my nails, he did pink and white gels and gel toes, they turned out beautifully and then he went out of his way to drop me off at discount tires where my car was transported too. Brittany is amazing! I went to her for my initial microblading and I had such a positive experience. She made the whole process super easy and painless. My brows are exactly how I wanted them. They are super natural and fluffy. She is so great at picking out the right color and mapping your brows. I’ve had a spa membership here for the last year and it’s honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Walking into the spa always brightens up my day since everyone who works here is warm and friendly. I’ve had three massages here with two different therapists and they have all been EXCELLENT. Both therapists (Braznick and Lavinia) did a great job of making me feel at ease while they found and released points of tension all over my body. The relaxation room is a great place to unwind, the sauna is lovely, and overall I couldn’t recommend this place more. If you aren’t staying at the hotel I suggest opting for the daycation package, because hot tub + cocktail + cliff views = best way to end your spa day.

Micah is a real treasure if you need an old oriental rug cleaner who does it the correct way. He has cleaned several really old rugs for us with genuine care! His knowledge of rugs is extensive and readily shared by Micah. If you need any type of rugs cleaned and want it done the right way this is the go to place.

The owner Joe has been proudly running multiple crews for many years and all of their team are just the best of personalities with the eyes for detail and they have all the equipment necessary to handle any kind of carpet, upholstery, tiles etc.
I specifically had a Balinese couch that started to collect some molds on portions of it from some moisture. Joe himself came out and took the time to go through the entire couch by hand with the upholstery tool and transformed the colors of it and completely eliminated the mild odor and the molds that were on small parts of it. He also used some special enzymes that help kill some of those germs as well as post-treat the entire couch to ensure both any mild smells and the molds themselves were gone. You really are in the best of hands with all in carpet cleaning ??

We had an excellent experience with the team at Revolution Landscape. From the inception of our project to it's completion, Ari and Jeff listened closely to our desires and concerns and delivered an excellent plan that somehow managed to be within our budget and provided us with an amazing yard that we're very proud of. Their plan included a fruit tree orchard, raised garden beds, front and back porch pergolas, a dojo for our tai chi practice and an incredible fire pit with rock wall seating and water feature. They kept in close touch every step of the way and their on-site project manager Fernando was a delight for my wife and I to work with. Since the installation, Jeff and Ari have returned to monitor the growth of all the plants and trees and offered invaluable advice regarding the pruning of the fruit trees and effective irrigation management. We would recommend them highly to anyone looking for top quality landscaping.

I interviewed a number of landscape companies and Chris @ Ecology Artisans stood out well above the competition when it came to plant and tree expertise. In our case, mostly CA native/low water and fruit trees. He also has a deep understanding of the surrounding environment you need to create for your flora to flourish.Most landscape vendors I spoke with just wanted to know what we wanted and where, but there is a lot more to it. We setup multiple catch basins to maximize (hold in) our occasional rains and re-graded the property to get water to flow where we wanted it.His crew are great too, and complement him not just report to him. The whole team are great communicators which is hard to find these days.We had a tricky patio (paver) install situation based on an uneven house and an overgrown tree to deal with and they were patient working through these complexities whereas most vendors would just want to push you through suboptimal solutions and cut corners.If you have a mostly hardscaping project, there are many vendors out there that can do a great job, but if you are interested in trees and plants, Ecology Artisans is a rare find.Services: Walkway landscaping

We recently bought our home knowing we wanted to have the backyard redone. It was covered in dyed mulch which was a complete nightmare. When we started looking for vendors, we had several companies come out and got a variety of answers of what was possible or not, and also how long the process would take. They all had delayed response times, and odd requirements that were really off putting.
On a whim we reached out to Install It Direct to get yet another option. Man we are glad we went with them. Steve was great and quickly turned around a rendering and captured our vision almost to a T after our first conversation.
The shinning star of the entire project was Troy, from day one we knew he was understood our vision and had our best interest in mind with every decision we had to make. He checked in with us regularly, kept us abreast with everything happening and whenever an issue arose (which were all minor and expected) that we were presented with pros/cons for each solution. He made us feel like we were a priority and that he genuinely cared about the outcome.
All in all, it was a great experience. We love our new yard and would highly recommend IIT and Troy to anyone. They were able to make our dream backyard come to life.

I have used Bishop's a few times over the years as needed. They just trimmed 5 jacaranda trees for us. Mr. Bishop came promptly to give us a bid. I had two others. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Matt, Theresa, and their entire team. My 16mo old baby girl fell at the park and chipped her tooth and I was so worried it was going to fall out or discolor or have some lingering effects when I started googling what happened (google gets me every time- ha!). We took her to Scripps and they recommended Dr. Matt so I called after hours and left a voicemail hoping they could get us in the next day. I actually got a call back from Dr Matt that night and I was in tears when I picked up, so worried about her. He was the kindest human to me, didn't rush me off the phone, and assured me my daughter was going to be okay and that he'd see her right away the next morning. We got there and the entire reception staff was great, then Theresa and Dr Matt kept her super occupied with adorable rubber duckies and distractions and she didn't fuss much at all which made my mama heart so happy. The night before she was screaming when the other doctor put her hands in her mouth so I was terrified for the dentist appt- and while she didn't LOVE them in her mouth she barely fussed and was smiling and saying "bye bye" to them at the end. He assured me I have nothing to worry about once again, that her tooth is solid in there still and that these things happen all the time. While I'm not stoked my baby fell and chipped her tooth, I'm so happy we now have an incredible pediatric dentist! In fact, I got home and told my husband hmm I wonder if they see adults since I'm quite the baby when it comes to the dentist, too . Thank you Dr Matt & team!!!

Nobody wants to undergo surgery, especially on the face, but considering the surgery type my experience at West Encinitas was excellent. Dr. Gladsjo was excellent in her MOHS surgery but also her professional, kind, and caring ways. She explained each step and made me feel comfortable and safe with engaging conversation and Christmas music. Staff Sydney, Missy and others were great too. My companion of 18 years was carried across the bridge on 8/8/2024 at 18 Dr VanWorth, Dr Kovac, and Dr Leslie had done their best in making clinical assessments on Coco at the time but for nearly 3 years in Heart disease MMVD stage B2 with severe regurgitation, Coco was always on borrowed time. On her last day X-rays showed her entire cavity filled with fluid and that was time. Coco refused to go down without a fight - her will to be loved and to live was strong but her ailing condition was inevitable Thanks for your care and the many times you work so hard to support slotting me in, even answering my calls before the office day started Bless all of you and families

De olmedo was amazing diagnosing, treating and caring for my beloved dog! We were back to full health in ten days after the perfect prescription was provided. We switched from a prior vet to come here as our prior vet misdiagnosed him, wasted a month on the wrong meds and cost us loads of time and money treating! So happy we came here and will continue to do so to keep my boy happy and healthy!
We chose Cardiff Animal Hospital to do 2 TPLO surgeries on our husky, Luna. The surgeries were done 1 month apart. Their pricing is one of the lowest ones we could find. It includes all post op appointments, check up x ray, laser therapy.
We are very satisfied with our experience! The women who work there are compassionate, caring and eager to answer any questions you may have. From the signs saying “Welcome Luna” in the exam rooms, to vet techs sitting on the floor hanging out with Luna while talking to us, they really go above and beyond. I would even receive text messages a few days after appointments from the hospital checking in about how Luna is doing.
Thanks to them, she is having an amazing recovery and soon she will be back to herself and full activity.

I highly recommend Dr. Lee, Andrew, and the team at the Drake Center. Our cat and dog have received excellent care from the team. Dr. Lee in particular has been incredibly kind, diligent, and plain spoken when diagnosing our pets and developing a treatment plan for them.
We’ve been through several Mobile Groomers and most were adequate at best but as time goes on the quality of service drops off. Not so with Salish Splash! Their quality is excellent and they are kind and gentle with our furry family member. And with us they are always kind, courteous, professional and on time!
Best groomer in San Diego by far, every time I’ve taken my dog elsewhere they shave her and don’t give her the look I’ve requested. Happy Tails made my dog look absolutely adorable, we will definitely be coming back here regularly for grooming.

One observation I have had is that her staff has been the same for a long while and what that tells me is she is a great owner/boss and has found people that love dogs/cats as much as she does. Excellent place to learn yoga (astanga method). Practice makes body flexible and strong also heals body and mind. I am IT engineer for more than 15years. My metabolism degraded with sitting and working for long hours. This method benefitted me to regain my strength and improved digestion and metabolism, also improved triglycerides levels a lot. Andrew is excellent teacher and very friendly. Very lucky to be have him in San Diego and learning yoga with him.

Highly recommend the manual lymphatic drainage massage! Each time I felt less bloated, experienced fewer headaches, and experienced improved sleep. Destiny is amazing at what she does and the massage itself is incredibly relaxing!
Cristy is a miracle worker! I had a complex surgery on my arm and hand that after a few months of rehabilitation therapy I still had little movement and lots of swelling. My surgeon suggested lymphatic drainage massage, so I found Cristy's clinic online. At my first appointment, she did a thorough assessment of my posture and physical limitations. She recommended myofacia release therapy and spent 90 minutes doing amazing stretching type movements (much more complicated then that but hard to describe.) She can feel the scar tissue releasing with her movements. By the end of one session I had about 30% more range of motion and my pain and swelling decreased significantly. I have seen her two more times since and I look forward to the visits because I always feel so much better and encouraged that I may regain full function of my hand. My occupational therapist and surgeon both are so impressed with the difference in my recovery with Cristy's therapy! I highly recommend her services!

Truly one of - if not the - best massages I’ve ever had. I like massages for therapeutic purposes, so I typically only get deep tissue massages. I’ve been trying different places for the last 2 years since my massage therapist moved away. Palmy was an amazing find, and after my second session with her today, I’m hooked. She worked wonders on some serious tightness I was having and she was so intuitive about the right amount of pressure. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Hollis is incredibly gifted at her craft. She not only gives an amazing, Four Seasons quality deep tissue massage but she also is highly intuitive and heart-centered. While she delivers a nurturing and relaxing massage she is not short on the deep therapeutic aspects finding problematic areas of aches and pains then using skillful techniques to soothe them. I felt relaxed during and after my session and my areas of concern which she addressed skillfully felt relieved. Shauna is warm and welcoming making you feel relaxed from the moment you step into her beautiful workspace and sends you home with continued calm as well as relief of pain. Highly recommend! Taglit is incredibly good at helping customize his massages to work through problem areas. I started going to him about 9 months ago and he is now my go-to for massages. Raelyn is a gifted and intuitive practitioner. More of a healer than what you would expect from a typical massage therapist. She helped me recover from a lot of post covid health issues, and takes a holistic perspective on what's going on in the body. She creates a relaxing and calm environment and she's such a kind, empathic person that you feel better just being in her presence. I feel lucky to have found her and cannot recommend her strongly enough!!

It was my first time seeing Carsyn for a facial and it was spectacular. 3 days later and my face is glowing. I did the red light therapy and I think really works.
Really great rolfing experience with Nathalie. I came to her pretty banged up with two replaced knees, shoulder surgery, etc. she set me on straight, released my shoulders, helped me with my breathing, posture, etc. I feel lighter and free in my body. I will definitely work with her again. Thanks for fixing me up.

Dr. Chong changed my life. Just a brief background of my medical problems so you know how much she did to help me. I had a c section in August 2025 and when I was released from the hospital I couldn’t breath so I went back to the hospital and was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia and pneumonia…I had to work with a cardiologist and pulmonologist and I was put on antibiotics, inhalers, steroids nothing worked. In October I got Covid… I had Covid 2 times before but I think I was just super fragile postpartum and Covid just completely took me out even more. At this point I was desperate I wanted to try anything and everything and that’s when I found Dr. Chong. I went in for my first acupuncture and the next day I noticed a huge different in my chest tightness and shortness of breath. I couldn’t believe it. I continued to go for a few more sessions and by the time I “graduated” acupuncture I was no longer using any inhalers my ct scans came back as “improving”. I just had my gallbladder removed so I’m itching to get back into Dr Chong’s office. Her book was also very helpful. She truly saved me. Thank you Dr. Chong for giving me essentially my life back so I could be the best mom to my baby girl.

Mike is amazing. Over the last few years I've struggled with knee pain and hamstring issues etc all related to running and athletics. He always squeezes me in and outside of his treatment in office, he has given me manageable exercises to do at home (easy and quick - so I actually do them) that have helped correct my hip alignment and overall mobility. Beyond my body, Mike is a calm presence and always gives me good food for thought; the whole experience with Mike is always positive and I leave feeling energized and encouraged.
Dr Greg Lane is by far the best acupuncturist I have ever been to. I can't recommend this acupuncturist highly enough! He is truly the best I've ever experienced. Not only is he incredibly skilled and professional, but he also has a wonderful teaching approach, explaining everything clearly and making sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. I came in with severe back pain and spasms, and after just a few sessions, I felt significant relief. What sets this acupuncturist apart is his superb technique. Unlike other experiences I've had, his needle placement is so precise and gentle that I didn't experience any pain – a huge plus! The overall quality of care is exceptional. If I could give him a 12 out of 10, I would. His skill has brought me vitality and health physically and psychologically. I have been seeing Lizette for over a year, and I will never go anywhere else! I also will never pay for another massage as her acupuncture combined with her other treatments make it unnecessary. Lizette is well-trained, caring, and very good at treating the whole body, mind, and soul. I have degenerative discs in my lower back, and for the first time in years, I have relief and feel zero pain. She absolutely my miracle worker and healer.
Savannah is magic!!! She uses such a unique blend of massage and craniosacral therapy to truly unwind the body- physically, energetically, emotionally. I was referred to Evelyn for a labor induction acupuncture appointment. She was very knowledgeable, professional and offers a full body session. She is very experienced with her work and understanding of your body and what it needs in the moment. She also included essential oils to help with uterus contractions/labor.I saw her on a Monday afternoon. Started having real contractions Tuesday afternoon on and off, and then my baby arrived Wednesday evening. Only 48 hours after our session!I highly recommend Evelyn for any of your acupuncture needs!

I started going to Celeste (Moonlight Acupuncture) about a year ago . One of the best decisions of my life! The reason for needing her acupuncture services was because of nerve damage which I was suffering from greatly on my left hip. Being a former deputy sheriff, my duty belt put tremendous wear and tear on my hip and glute area. I was in a lot of pain…all the time! Right before my first appointment with Celeste, I found out I was pregnant! Not only did Celeste completely restore my nerve damage on my hip, but she also relieved, treated, and prevented a lot of joint and muscle pain that comes with being pregnant! I owe her SO MUCH credit for my pregnancy being so easy and being able to stay so active up until my due date! Also, her background of being a Doula, gave me such mental peace about everything I was going through with each trimester, what to expect during birth, and what to expect after birth. Each acupuncture appointment she took the time to address my concerns and answer every question I had with pregnancy, even when that wasn’t a part of the appointment. After realizing how amazing / helpful Celeste acupuncture was i continued to get MANY treatments from Celeste at least once a week, including (but not limited to) ; acupuncture to help with my hormonal, acne, blue light therapy, massages, cupping, pregnancy/birthing techniques , and natural pain relief pressure points that my husband could use to help assist in pressure and pain during labor! I couldn’t help myself, but to make an appointment with her every single week. I can say with all honesty that I saw her every single week I was pregnant, and it was the most beneficial thing I did throughout my entire pregnancy. When I was about 11 days from my due date I made an appointment with Celeste so she could do specific pressure points / acupuncture on me to help promote labor. And that night I went into labor! I truly believe she is the reason that I did not go over my due date, which was such a blessing for me! I have told many pregnant woman, and will continue to tell them that they NEED to see her during / after pregnancy! I am so grateful for Celeste and her business. She is someone that EVERYONE needs in their life! My pregnancy wouldn’t have been the same without her :)
