“My name is Bethany Williams and I live in Escondido California. I wanted to share the wonderful experience I have had at the Gohl chiropractic clinic in Carlsbad with Dr. Joseph P Kametz. I actually first reach out for my 26 year old son Evan who has Down’s Syndrome and has had terrible back and nerve pain which began Dec. 2024, after a car accident. Evan was getting physical therapy and acupuncture which helped but the pain always came back. With Dr. K, Evan started feeling the results right away and after 6 adjustments the nerve pain stopped and the pain in his back is much better and manageable. That is why two weeks after Evan started going, my lower back started to hurt again so I decided to make an appointment to see if he could help me with the pain I’ve had for almost 20 years. I usually can manage it with hot Yoga however over the past five years, the pain has been more severe. I love that this clinic takes x-rays prior to your first adjustment and then they take another set of x-rays after your 20th adjustment where he shows you the improvement which in my case, was unbelievable!
Dr. K is very knowledgeable, gentle and deliberate unlike the adjustments I have received from another chiropractor in town, which seemed too quick and sometimes stressed me out because of the force used.
Dr. K is also helping me with my osteoarthritis pain that I have in my neck. In addition to feeling better, I have learned so much about why chiropractic care is important and how it affects the entire body not just the pain that I am currently having.
I’m thankful that our family has found a Chiropractor that we can hopefully see for the rest of our lives to maintain our healthy lifestyle. On a sidenote, my husband is going now for pain in his lower back and hip and my son Evan loves going to Dr. K. He always makes Evan feel very special and he’s never stressed about the adjustment. I tried one adjustment with another chiropractor with Evan years ago and it actually hurt him to where it took a few months for him to recover. I am beyond thankful for this office and I would recommend to my family and friends.“

“My daughter is a professional jiu-jitsu fighter. One Saturday she landed on her head during a tournament. She couldn't walk and she was screaming in pain. Dr. Dahl gladly saw her immediately even though she wasn't an existing patient. He was able to realign her back and she walked out the door good as new. The entire office was super caring and made us feel like family. I learned while I was there that he offers free chiropractic for kids on Saturdays! He does what he does out of love. “I have had neck problems for the last year and a half now to which I was losing hope of ever fully recovering from. I found Dr. Mark after seeing a different chiropractor who also specializes in the Atlas Orthogonal method over the last year. Dr. Mark is truly amazing! I’ve only seen him for one visit so far but the difference in approach between him and my now old chiropractor shocked me. Dr. Mark did a MUCH more thorough initial exam both before and after my first adjustment. He doesn’t give off the “salesman” pitch and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients rather than the money. I’ve only had my first adjustment with Dr. Mark but i’m already feeling better this first day than I have the entire last year with my old chiropractor. I’m very grateful to have found him and am excited to see how much I improve under his care. Even if I somehow have deeper issues and don’t fully recover with the atlas approach, I would still recommend him to everyone.“
