They came and fixed a malfunctioning fancy multi-deadbolt lock on short notice at the end of their day, which we really appreciated. Everything was perfect, except how they handled pricing. I don't think they work off of a fixed price list for their services. It seemed that they decided on pricing in the moment. We were originally given an estimate by text message which turned out to be a price to just show up. I should have asked them for final pricing as they were getting started, because at the end, they wanted to charge several hundred dollars for a fix that took less than an hour and required no equipment. They fixed the existing problem and oiled up the works a bit. Very minor work, albeit urgently needed. My fault for not being more diligent about discussing price when they got there. They should be more up front and honest about their pricing. Other than that, they are really nice, professional and friendly. I would consider using them again, but won't wait until they're done to ask about final pricing.
