I received the 80-minute on the rocks treatment which includes a hydrating scrub and massage. Definitely one of my favorite spa treatments I’ve ever recieved. Heidi, my massage therapist was incredible! She’s so knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. The receptionist was so kind and accommodating. The pool was very close to the spa and easy to find. My only complaint is the lack of a dry sauna and hot tub on property, which is not the staff’s fault of course; they were wonderful.
I am a Carlsbad resident, and the Ocean Crest spa is a hidden gem, and has been my go-to spa on a regular basis for the last 8 years.
The main reason for my loyalty; The two women at the front desk; Janette and Sylvie are terrific. The massage and facial therapists are top notch; specifically Amy and Christine.
Do yourself a favor and book a treatment, you won’t be disappointed.
Spa itself is nice, in line with expectations for the price point and resort level. Staff very friendly. But my massage was absolutely world class, best I can remember. Carol was clearly highly trained and experienced. Deep tissue, strong and capable, but also so thoughtful and intentional with every move. Very impressed, could have been at Montage. Resort massages are usually just for special occasions for me, but I would consider coming here regularly for Carol.
