“I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Walter. Before starting my lessons, I was in a different situation than most new drivers. Nobody in my family has ever had a driver’s license, and we’ve always relied on the bus to get around. So, in my 21 years of life, I had never even touched a steering wheel before my first lesson.
I was also pretty nervous going into the process because I had no way to practice outside of my lessons. Every bit of driving experience I gained was with Walter. Despite that, he was incredibly patient with me and helped me build my confidence and skills from the ground up. He took me from having absolutely no experience behind the wheel to being comfortable driving on busy roads, through intersections, changing lanes, and even on the freeway.
What I appreciated most was that Walter never made me feel discouraged when I made mistakes. He pointed out what I needed to improve on and gave me the opportunity to keep working on it until I got better. I could genuinely see my progress from lesson to lesson.
I was especially nervous going into my driving test because I hadn’t driven at all for about three weeks beforehand. However, everything Walter taught me came back quickly once I was behind the wheel, and I ended up passing my driving test on my first attempt!
Considering I started without ever having touched a steering wheel and had no opportunity to practice outside of my lessons, I don’t think I could have asked for a better instructor. I’m incredibly grateful to Walter for helping me accomplish something that once felt so far away. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone learning how to drive, especially someone who is starting with little to no experience. 5 stars all across the board!”
