everything was perfect, perfect perfect perfect no complaints the service was impeccable. The quality was great. The relaxation was wonderful when you leave you feel like a new person.
When visiting Carlsbad, try this spa for classic treatments and get the spa and lunch package for $325. My friend and I had a girls day with facials and lunch, starting with a steam before the treatment. Sherry was my aesthetician and her skin treatment was perfect along with her neck and shoulder massage. After our facials, we enjoyed sun by the adults-only spa pool and the crab/mango plate served with a fresh, lightly dressed salad that was delicious. (You also get the option of a Bellini, champagne or non-alcoholic drink of choice with the spa package.) Service was wonderful and Emily took great care of us by the pool.
This hotel is good for travelers who just need a place to sleep. The room was neat, and the cleaning staff did a nice job each day. No frills, but the basics were covered: working TV, hot water, stable Wi-Fi. The elevator was a bit slow, but not a big deal. Breakfast was available from early morning, though quite repetitive. Staff were courteous. Not bad at all for a short, simple stay.
