In my opinion, Dr. Malekian is one of the best. She is one of the few dentists who knows what she is doing. I have been to many dentists, but since I started visiting her about 15 years ago, I couldn’t go to any other dentist.
I go to her for all the work related to my teeth, including root canal, filling, and dental veneers and all related work.
She is very thorough, professional, excellent and ethical.
Also, the rest of the staff are very friendly and know their job.
And you can always find a parking space.
Dr. Rose is very experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to advising for services. I felt she gave me the right guidance about the procedures that I should and I should not go for.

Updating my review here. This salon is fantastic in its new location on Nanaimo, as Franco and Victoria are the main stylists and they could never go wrong. I followed from their original location on Beatty because it’s really hard to find a good hairstylist for my hair. Franco always cuts my frizzy thick hair in the best way possible. I trust this place and highly recommend it!

I had an amazing experience getting my haircut with Lucia. She’s incredibly skilled and pays close attention to the details that make a big difference. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and made sure everything looked clean and sharp. The fade was super smooth, the length on top was perfect, and she made sure the style actually worked for my hair type.

Best haircut and colour I've ever gotten. Jennie does a fantastic job, super funny and professional at the same time, she gets so excited about her work and she's very detail oriented. She gave me a recommendation for the exact colour (green) and style and I love it so much, even took the extra time to layer and blend it so it looks even better!
The shop has a really fun vibe, it's a fantastic people watching spot and they're good at keeping any drama going on outside out of the shop. Price is comparable to other shops, but the service is way beyond anything else around. Cannot recommend enough.

Ive know David for a bit, he barbers my partner. And I after some trouble finding a reliable, and cost effective barber for my terrible hard to cut hair I decided to sit with this shop. there's a lot hair, and it's fine, and sticks out like a mo'fo. David took total control of my Low Fade Slick-back with a comfortable vibe, and short service. No waiting an hour to get out of the shop when you just want a haircut and chill vibe. I've seen his beard trims as well, ..no hassle with guards and time wasting. Like a pro he does trimmer over comb and makes it perfect for my partner who has a wild thing of beard, and really curly. Scot at this shop, is a good vibe as well, always good energy here, and the service speaks for itself with mid range cost, a low range of pretentiousness. I was completely happy with my cut for a first sitting.. Nothing I would change, and he did precisely what I told him to even though he had another idea, and was happy with the results too ...so everyone is good to go for the show. I got my haircut a month ago by Rui. I went in for a consultation separately (both free) with Seven and Rui, and ultimately ended with them. They were very nice and enthusiastic. I had a good time chatting with them throughout the session. It's a very clean and reasonably priced compared to many other places. I love how queer-friendly and accessible it is. I was nervous coming in because I hadn't gone for a pro haircut and changed my hairstyle for over 10 years but Rui handled it very well. If you're unhappy, you can come back within a few days for a free touch up. I'd come back again!

I first went here a year before my wedding to play around with styles so I could get the perfect cut the week of my wedding. My barber totally got it, and we tried out different lengths and ideas until I felt super confident my hair would be exactly as I wanted it for those important memories. Couldn't recommend this shop more highly. Best in Vancouver without a doubt, and a good ethical employer, which is rare in the industry.

I missed having my nails done so much! It really helps with my mental health and supports some of my AuDHD needs, so I was excited to finally get them done while I was in the area for work.
My nail tech was so sweet—we bonded over our love for cats, and she did a wonderful job on the design. I’m obsessed! I also love supporting local, home-based salons because they’re usually quieter and more peaceful, which really helps with my sensory needs. There were some loud videos playing, but aside from that, I was so relaxed I nearly fell asleep.
I struggle to always find the right place, so I’m really happy I found this one. I hope I can come again when I’m visiting!
This was my second visit to HD Nails Spa and it gets better and better. I had a gel mani and pedi combo with Lynn and Tiffany and they both did an absolutely outstanding job. They paid incredible attention to detail, precision, creativity and really took the time to understand the look I wanted and suggested colours that suited me well. The overall service wasn’t completed without their incredibly relaxing and soothing massage, leaving my feet and nails soft and refreshed.

Unbelievably good eyelash extensions ! I didn’t even know how good until i moved away and went to someone else, and expected the same quality. My lashes were natural looking and better than that at the same time. Tat is also a fantastic person to be around when you need to have your eyes shut for an hour, and Patsy, her doggo, will keep your lap company :)

Their studio is newly renovated and under new ownership and I’m super impressed with the versatility of all their nail techs and the different styles and colours offered. If you show up with a desired nail design, they can ensure that it gets done. They seem to constantly keep up to date with all the new nail trends, which I highly appreciate. I also love that they’re open a bit later and I can stop by after work! I get compliments on my nails all the time and I’ve since referred several coworkers to this location. I highly recommend!

I came in for a pedicure a few weeks ago and they did such a great job that I made a manicure appointment before I left. They send a text to remind you of your appointment. I will be back!
I had such a wonderful experience here after booking a last minute appointment online. The vibe was very relaxing and the team was all so friendly- especially Lili. She was very careful and did a beautiful job, often checking with me to make sure I was happy with how my nails looked. I had some stubborn gel polish to remove and she did a great job without a drill- which I really appreciated.

After an unfortunate experience where another technician gave my eyebrows two different shapes, I have been struggling to find someone to fix it for over a year. It's the best haircut and colour I've had in the 20 years of going to salons. I had a brilliant first experience, and it began with a warm welcome from the team, and Kianna giving an in-depth explanation of her suggestions (based on the photos I provided), what was possible, and the reasoning behind her recommendations, along with what and how she planned to achieve them. The result was better than what I had been able to ask her for. I can't recommend Kianna and Heartbreaker Salon highly enough; not only for the quality of service, but for the welcoming environment and level of care in general.

I had the 60-Minute Technical Facial at Derma Bright Clinic after a long week at work, and it was just what I needed.
The whole experience was super relaxing. From the deep cleanse and extractions to the hydration and facial massage, everything felt really personalized. They used some great technology that left my skin looking fresh and glowing.

The waiting area of this place is so calming and clean and spacious. I came here to get my eyebrows threaded. I walked in, no appointment made, as the previous two places I've been to accepted that and could thread right then and there. That wasn't possible here on the day I went but Connie could squeeze me in for 1.5 hours later which I was so grateful for as I wanted it done that day! I came back at the time she said and she brought me in to a room that was also clean, calming, and spacious. She even put on some gentle, soothing music! The threading felt nice and near the end she handed me a mirror to see if it was alright and explained what she was able to do. My eyebrows looked so clean at the end. EXCELLENT WORK. I'd come here soon again if I could but my eyebrows don't grow that fast! I recommend contacting her first to make an appointment.

Had an amazing experience getting a head massage with my fiancée. From the moment you enter the spa to the moment you leave you are well taken care of, and the foot soak and tea before and after the massage itself are great end caps to the experience. The massage was incredibly relaxing; I actually heard my fiancée snore at one point haha. I’m excited to see how well we sleep tonight given the massage is meant to promote better sleep!

I've had many 5 star experiences at Touch of Joy! The personalized skin care facials, skin care products, and supplements are just what I needed to repair and revitalize my skin from redness and flaking to strong, smooth, no more flaking skin. I also had a facial keratosis removed which the dermatologist said couldn't be removed without a scar and it growing back. Wrong. Joy expertly took care of it and after a process of healing there is no trace of it and the skin underneath is smooth and perfect. I highly recommend Touch of Joy!

I started coming to HANA LASH for my lashes for over 3 months now and I am so happy with my lashes and creative director/technician, Alice. Yesterday was my 4th time there and Alice makes it so easy to work with especially with the designs I am looking for. I got a wispy volume set and I woke up from the chair feeling beautiful. She is very professional, someone who knows her craft and a very nice and friendly person to talk to. Booked my wedding hair and makeup with Mink after reading all the great reviews. I was mostly satisfied, but a little disappointed for the price I paid. At such a high price point, I was let down that my hair ended up being different on my wedding day than the trial run. My maid of honour ended up having to speak up for me to adjust some things (I was too stressed that day). I really wanted as natural make up as possible and I just feel like looking back on my photos, I didn’t get exactly what I wanted. There’s no doubt I had a talented hair and makeup artist, but I felt like she didn’t fully listen to what I wanted.
I got my first tattoo at Sacred Heart in 1997; the next two in 2004; and the next two in 2012. All these years later, they still look fresh, the colours have barely faded, and everyone thinks they're much newer than they are. The artists at Sacred Heart use excellent ink, are true collaborators, and are extremely talented. It's the only place I'll go for my tattoos.
I was tattooed by Geoff. It was my first tattoo and I was super nervous to get it (read that as I had backed out of getting a tattoo before). Geoff took me as a walk-in. He was warm and welcoming, putting to easy my nerves. He drew up my idea beautifully! He did an excellent job using conversation to make the session go smoothly. For someone as nervous as I was, I'm most impressed by his ability to create a calming environment. His design and tattoo talent was outstanding!! Would definitely get another tattoo from him again.

I have been having Ian design and tattoo for me for over twenty years… currently we are working on the third piece… lines are in and it’s sick, can’t wait to see when it’s all done and inspiration has us brainstorming for the next piece.
Chad has been my tattoo artist for the last couple years now. I can’t express how thankful I am to be working with him. Not only has he gave me some of the most beautiful work ever, but he’s been so talented to work on so many cover ups of mine and make them shine. He’s colour work and Japanese is absolutely beautiful.
Not to mention he’s a great guy. Super easy going, nice, and has never made me feel judged for any cover ups.

Lex was so funny when she tattooed me today and Eann was really thorough when he did my piercing change back in November! I called Robin on a Saturday afternoon for a punctured pipe and he arrived within the hour when other plumbers couldn’t attend until next day Sunday. Wall was opened and pipe repaired by that evening. A little pricey but again no one else was willing to do the job same day so we were accepting of the fee for service and happy with the outcome.

I contacted Wirechief Electric for a quote on an electrical panel upgrade and electrical service upgrade. A time and date was setup to visit the property. Octavio, the electrician, arrived and we did a walk through to understand the job. He took time to explain the required installations, adjustments and necessary locations for the install, which also required a trench to be created.
A quote was provided promptly within a few days of the onsite visit.
Octavio was professional and courteous during the entire interaction from initial contact to provision of the quote. and answered all the questions during the entire interaction.
Although I ultimately did not select Wirechief for my install, I would still recommend one to consider Wirechief Electric based on my initial interaction.

I am doing a bathroom renovation and as icing on the cake, I decided I would like LED strip lighting installed under my medicine cabinet to illuminate the backsplash. Both times now, my landlord/building manager at the time were so happy with how the apartments looked. My most recent building manager asked for Kirei's info during our walk-through.

Ward and his team did such an amazing job with refinishing our floors. They turned out much better than we ever expected they would. Our floors had many scrapes, dents and damaged areas that were totally gone once Wards team finished with the job. Plus they were very yellowed which made the space look dated. The stain that we went with looks great and our space has a much more toned down and natural feel now. Plus the cost was very competitive. We can't recommend Woodsmith enough!

As soon as Ashleigh from All About Floors got the green light from my insurance company, she sprang into action to get everything done blazing fast. They even got it done in time for Christmas Eve!!! My partner and I were tired of our small and enclosed kitchen. We talked to different renovators before asking Sasha to help us with our project. We had an initial design in mind for an open kitchen which was greatly improved on from Sasha's suggestions. After further discussions, we decided on redoing the flooring as well and to upgrade a small closet into a larger walk-in closet. We're very happy with how the project progressed. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen built by ReVision- it is exactly what we had envisioned. Manuel took our ideas of what we wanted and like in a kitchen and designed a more functional space with additional storage. His suggestions for colours, materials, and cabinet layout were spot-on. Todd, the Senior Project Manager was personable, easy to work with, and patient with our endless questions. Throughout the process, miscommunications were quickly addressed and clarified. There was one hiccup in the plans when a storage system we wanted would not properly function in the space provided. The ReVision and cabinet team came up with a creative, custom-built solution that we actually like better than what was originally planned. The entire project came within our budget and there were no surprise expenses. The quoted budget came out exactly as discussed at the beginning of the project. We really enjoyed working with the ReVision Team. They transformed our kitchen from a drab room stuck in the mid-90s to a bright, sleek, modern space. Mr. Build did a significant kitchen reno for me, opening up a galley kitchen to be an open concept kitchen. They did a great job and I am delighted with the end result. They helped to clean ceiling of our basement. after texture off and some drywall repairs by them, they made it like new. The basement look was completely chanegd after white paint. good service!!!
We worked with Cheema and Ranjit to have the house built. Their price was reasonable. They have the 2-5-10 warranty on all new homes they built. I do suggest upgrading on certain materials. Once the construction starts, it finishes according to schedule. 10 percent upon signing contract and payment is based on percentage of completion. At the end there is a 10% hold which is die a month after. Communication was good. I do recommend using them. Like all new construction, there are always some patch up work after the project is completed. They did come back to fix those up afterward.
Really responsive to get a drainage job done quickly and done well. Tim did a great job explaining everything in an easy to understand way too. Will definitely be calling Kerrisdale Roofing and Drains again for any required work.

Today marks 10 years my family and I have being using Bugman Pest Control for our house on Silverdale in Mission. I remember becoming a client when Nigel (father of current owner Bryce) was considering retiring! Which says a lot. This is generational extermination! I always felt apart of the Bugman family. I really liked every tech that came through over the years. Even though I was sad loosing Nigel in the beginning, I was pleasantly surprised with each replacement; learning well from the exterminator before them. This is probably the reason I've stayed a client for so long. Big thank you to a company who has had my back over the years and never tried to rip me off.

Luke and the Homeland team gave us a full blown front yard which included a paving stone driveway and path, irrigation, landscape lighting, plants, trees, sod, cedar fence, raised planters, and a rustic stone boundary wall for our new home in South Surrey. Great quality (and im a picky guy :-). They were trustworthy and transparent with their service agreement. They were timely and showed up every single day until completion. We are having them come back and do some split rail fencing next summer!
Ömer redid my back patio and did a wonderful job. The work involved hauling out a large hedge, old bricks, and a concrete slab. He built a new cedar fence (vertical posts, horizontal slats) and laid down new stones for the patio. There were a few surprises (finding remnants of a tree beneath the concrete slab; had to build a retaining wall in the corner) and he had to work around roots of a large spruce). The work was exceptionally well done and the results are beautiful -- we received a lot of praise from neighbors and passers-by. The patio is well leveled and the stairs are strong. Ömer had a lot of ideas and his solution to the tree roots problem was innovative. He was also very receptive and adaptable. Cost was very reasonable. In my opinion, Dr. Malekian is one of the best. She is one of the few dentists who knows what she is doing. I have been to many dentists, but since I started visiting her about 15 years ago, I couldn’t go to any other dentist.
I go to her for all the work related to my teeth, including root canal, filling, and dental veneers and all related work.
She is very thorough, professional, excellent and ethical.
Also, the rest of the staff are very friendly and know their job.
And you can always find a parking space.

Our two dogs were registered and treated by all the amazing team here during our year of living in Vancouver from routine vaccines, ear infections wonderful full dental cleaning for both dogs that were very successful both our dogs were treated with so much care and kindness the vets and all staff were efficient and informative we even had their official paperwork and documents completed to travel back to the UK via the EU and health checks and nothing was too much trouble this enabled us to fly our dogs home meeting all government requirements and therefore not needing to quarantine. Bhawna was always so supportive helpful efficient and kind we shall miss her smiling face and warmth and the dogs love her and the team also a big thank you to Dr Ralh who was brilliant with our dogs and calm friendly and so helpful a big thank you to Puneet and Jasveen and all reception staff and team that have helped our two dogs over the past year you will all be missed thank you for your support help and great care you have given our dogs if we come back we'll be straight back to your practice!

Burrard Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing! We had to take our cat here as he was breathing very rapidly. They took such good care of him and us as well. Very fun filled day of activities for all sizes of furbabies. They also have a grooming service in the same location which I must say is very convenient for us. DogPlay team is a group of people that you’d and your pups like to be surrounded with. I recently hurt my back, they immediately reached out to me and offered to care for our Kayah even in last minute. They even offered to picked her up from our home to get to daycare since I can barely move. We’re very lucky that we only live few blocks away from them and we’re forever grateful for Sunny and the whole team.

The owner is nice and the stylist has good skills — my was young and had a very good experience getting pampered so he has no issues being handled whatsoever ever since his visit. He only has a haircut and ear cleaning not nail trims, as that is all I needed.Do book your appointment instead of dropping in unexpectedly. UDS does try to accommodate your time booking the best they can.

Kinu is the best! We were lucky enough to have her recommended for our Australian Labradoodle, Finley at a young age of puppyhood. Kinu makes the whole grooming experience enjoyable for all dogs, but specializes in nervous dogs. Finley started out uncertain, but now loves the groomer.
Kinu’s work is also impeccable, and we’ve never had anything less than a perfect cut from her.
Okie Doggie always takes good care of my pup. Lucas is a skilled and reliable groomer that I can trust.
Owner Terry is wonderful! She loves and is caring to animals. She is attentive and when she is grooming our Kiwi she always alerts us when she notices anything unusual. Needless to say we highly recommend her.
I brought my 5-month-old kitten, Cookie, here for her very first grooming session (bath, nail trim, and ear cleaning), and I’m so glad I did! As a first-time cat owner, I was feeling pretty anxious since Cookie can be a nervous little one, but Anna and her team were absolutely wonderful. What I appreciated the most was how Anna took the time to give me thoughtful, practical tips on cat care and grooming. The staff at Paw Prints are always so kind and welcoming. They accept walk-ins for nail trimming, offer very reasonable prices and are very quick. I have multiple other dog groomers around me but I choose to go here because they are so amazing.

Hannah is absolutely amazing! I came to her with a lot of neck tension and shoulder pain, and she worked wonders. She decontracted the muscles with such skill and guided me through physiotherapy, relaxation, and breathing exercises that truly changed how I feel day to day. Thanks to her care, I’m finally getting back to a normal life. She is not only incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but also so kind, patient, and supportive. I booked a massage with Meghan yesterday. She was very attentive, asked many questions before starting the massage, and, certainly was able to alleviate the pain in my neck and shoulders. She used the correct amount of pressure in my tender areas. Will definitely be booking future appointments with Meghan.
Justin Howell was extremely knowledgeable and a fantastic massage therapist. He relieved the pain and tension that I was feeling and gave me information on exercises that I could do to strengthen the weaknesses that caused them. He was also very knowledgeable about a number of chronic immune system issues that I deal with on a regular basis and gave recommendations that were very helpful and appreciated. Highly recommend!
The most peaceful environment, all staff are welcoming. I had one of the best Swedish massages I think I’ve ever had. They have plenty of services to choose from to suit each individual. Will 100% be back
I received Shiroabhyanga or head massage and it was fantastic. Highly recommend. Next time I visit, I will get a Abhyanga, the Full Body Massage. It was super pleasurable to experience the intensity of this massage and to feel the knots in my neck and shoulders being worked out. My practitioner was very kind and skilled and the staff that I came into contact with were lovely.
I've had a fantastic experience here. The space is very clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. I had an appointment with Elysse, who was very informative before the massage, and her massage was excellent. I would love to have massages with her for the rest of my life.

I go here specifically to see Woon because he is such an incredible RMT. I feel like he has healed my body and helped me with various exercises to help me in the future. I travel from New West to Burrard just for Woon’s massages! 10/10
Tiana has magic hands - she has a very unique touch that I havent experienced anywhere else. She is able to work gently into very small areas, where I didnt realize I was even holding tension, causing that entire area to quiver. I always leave feeling a lot lighter, not just from her deep work but also her amazing energy. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to get deeper and looking for impactful results!

Lucas is professional and highly effective. and I had a disc buldge and could not walk to the appointment but after my appointment with him I feel so much relief, and the pain is very much alleviated. He even showed me some exercises to do after to help with it. thank you so much!

Samantha gave great advice, carefully touched the painful parts on my body to determine precise causes and then worked her fingers "magically" to ease the pain in those parts and provide some needed relief. Very impressive, as well as the followup with some exercises to practice and continue to treat those sore parts. PS Look, I'm not giving 5 stars as, of course, no one can remove that pain, Time is needed to heal but GOOD massages, advice and exercises are certainly helping!

I’ve had the pleasure of being Bruce Jay’s patient. He has given my body rejuvenation through his expert needling sessions. He is very gentle with the needling and hits all the right spots in the pursuit of my body recovery. Definitely give him a try if you’re new getting into dry needling. He also likes to tell funny jokes sometimes and brews matcha green tea. I’ve decided he will be dry needling me long term as I enjoy the pricks into my muscle.

This is a quiet group setting. Each person has their own session with the acupuncturist overlooking and tending to each client individually. Kind and considerate. Lovely space. I would recommend for people who have some experience with acupuncture though. If this is your first time you might benefit from a 1-1 approach. For me, it was perfect :)

I had an amazing experience with Luke. The treatment I received from him was incredibly effective in addressing my particular issues, and the entire process was also deeply relaxing. I was dealing with 6 months of chronic neck pain that disrupted my everyday life. Stretching and RMT could only provide temporary relief. I setup an appointment with Lisa and over the course of 4-5 treatments (once a week) my neck pain has disappeared completely! It has been 3 months since then and I now come back every month to do maintenance. I was skeptical at first, but Lisa worked her magic!

My sister was diagnosed with facial discoid dermatosis 2 years ago. Unfortunately, this condition is not treatable by traditional medicine. No medications, including Stelara injections, were effective. Luckily, my RMT had mentioned her acupuncturist, Adina, who helped with her seasonal allergy. My sister was ready to try ANYTHING to get rid off red leisons on her face. Adina agreed to work with her and, after only three seassions of acupuncture based treatment, my sister's face started clearing! This is such a relieve! She would need a few more treatments to complete the treatment. Now we have hope, and our family would be forever grateful for Adina's care. She is a great TCM doctor and I would recommend her to all my friends ❤️

Dragon Feet Wellness exceeds my expectations. Indeed, as some other reviewers said, it is a humble place but really worth trying. This is a professional massage in the area: they offer both RMT(booked) and non-RMT massage services.
I do not mind paying non-RMT since the masseuses are experienced, passionate, and knowledgeable in what they are doing.
The owner and therapists are very welcoming, although I just walked in. Apple also did excellent for my deep tissue massage.
I would definitely come back and recommend this place to others.
This store is under new management and the entire store has been updated which has a fresher look. The new owners are also experienced massage therapist with over 15 years of experience. I received two massages from Sophia and Nina which was phenomenal! They deliver RMT level of massage which really impressed me. Their price is also very reasonable compared to other spas . Highly recommended for all massage lovers !

My driving experience with Atlas was a good one. My instructor was Rez, he did a great job at ensuring I was prepared with all the knowledge and practice I needed to have been successful. Based on the level of customer service I received from him I would recommend Atlas and Rez to my friends and family.
Joe is one of the most patient n caring teachers I've had. Its like he gives you a bag of confidence with his lessons. Couldn’t recommend someone more qualified, patient and above all a great teacher! First try n pass the class 7 :)
I learned to drive here with Instructor Vincent. Everything he taught was very helpful and allowed me to pass the test on my first try. If you’re looking for a driving school, I highly recommend this place.
He has great patience and communicates. He can explain it very well until you have better understanding and safety. He answers my questions a few times to get a better understanding or road rule. Follow instructions will be safe and successful.

He has an excellent understanding of the area and provides detailed explanations about Point Grey’s road conditions. Perry is an easygoing and friendly instructor who always shows up on time. His patience and professionalism made every lesson stress-free and productive.
