After coming back to Vancouver from Toronto, It’s been a real struggle trying to find a quality shop.3 things that matter to me when finding the right barbershop: 1) welcoming and chill environment and staff 2) service ie. quality fade 3) price. It’s pretty rare to find all 3 in one shop. When I find a chill shop with welcoming barbers that give a quality fade, it’s usually over priced. When I find an affordable spot, often they butcher my hair or when they’re not butchering my hair they’re butchering my wallet for $50 a cut. It’s the worst when a place lacks all 3 which sadly happens too often. Then I thankfully found Sigma.1) Staff: 5/5Sometimes going full review

After years of bouncing from hairstylists and barbers who gave me mediocre haircuts, I've finally found someone who gives me a great haircut!Karen takes her time to ensure she gives you exactly what you want. My first haircut with her grew out so well that it even bought me an extra couple of weeks before I came in to see her again. The second cut was even better. Not only is Karen good with a pair of scissors but she’s also a great conversationalist. She genuinely cares about her clients and wants to get to know them better.Thank you so much, Karen. I have found my forever barber!

I moved to Vancouver 5 years ago and needed to find a barbershop that I liked. I have tried many shops downtown and was never really satisfied with their fades & haircuts, but stayed at Sigma for the past ~3 years because they’re simply the best. DOM is the man.
