The company I design for has been working with Nickels Custom Cabinets since 2020 and in collaboration, they have produced the most beautiful cabinetry! If you can dream it, they can make it.
I have had experience with other contractors/placers both good and bad. I have to say Beau and his team never cease to amaze me. I have used him several times due to his work ethic, honesty, personable and extreme pride in the job that he and his team do.
They communicate, they are honest, and you can tell the team actually take pride and seem to enjoy the work they do (other than some other companies). They were working/prepping in the heavy heavy rain we had and not once did they complain or look miserable, they took it in stride.
It is rare to find good companies that are not fly by night, do the work and take your money and run nowadays.
Also rare to find one that still enjoys what they do, actually do good work, have years of experience.
Side note: They tore out a slab, fixed the manhole (cut 2 inches off) as the previous owners (company they hired) installed it 2 inches above the concrete they poured at the time so a tripping hazard. Plus that company ran a house/roof downspout pipe along side the manhole into the ground which we only found out after they tore out the slab (thank god). We thought it was going into the manhole. They never attached it to the manhole even though they went right by it (wish I could write a review on that company if I knew who they were). This was something Beau and his team fixed for me to make it right. So they went above and beyond.....
Sorry so lengthy write up but as a homeowner I would want to know this info and I would never take a chance on any other company (at least from my experience - older and wiser).

We could not have been more pleased with the renovation that was completed for us by Brothers Home Renovations. When we first purchased our townhouse in year 2017 another contractor assisted us with our home renovation and a series of mistakes were made to our primary ensuite flooring & shower due to inexperienced trades. We had nothing but problems over the years and finally decided to redo our bathroom. We were referred to the owner Mark for our project and right from the get go we could tell he was experienced and had a good attention to detail. Mark has surrounded himself with quality tradesmen, all of which were a pleasure to meet & work with. The renovation was completed in a timely manner and we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the finished product. You can tell that Mark and his trades care very much about the workmanship they provide. The cabinet company I used for my kitchen reno set me up with Felix for my countertop measurement and install! They were so fast, I got the countertop a full week earlier than anticipated and the installation was perfect and so quick & efficient. Looks beautiful!!

From the first initial phone call booking (with Hannah), to my appointment with Tricia, it was an exceptional experience! Tricia explained everything that was happening and showed me all products that were being used and how to use them myself (so I could repeat the same style in the comfort of my own home). The appointment passed quickly, and it was like chatting with a best friend. Since I donated so much hair, I recieved a large discount, too (bonus!). I know I'll keep coming back here again and again, and that I have nothing to fear with Tricia as my new hair stylist. Thank you, Design Tech!

She’s so attentive to detail, really easy to talk to, and from now on the only person I’ll trust my hair with. I’ve been getting my nails done for 40 years and I’ve never been this happy with my nails. May did an amazing job. She was professional, sweet, efficient and exceptionally good at what she was doing. We talked about what I wanted and she made some excellent suggestions which we went with. She took the time to make sure they were exactly what I wanted, regularly checking with me during the process to see if I wanted to make any changes.
The only thing that threw me off at first was taking my shoes off at the door but it makes perfect sense. I take my shoes off at the door at my house too. And they gave me new, clean slippers to use.
I am very happy with May’s work and will be coming back again and again.

I have been coming to Nicole regularly for shellac manicures for more than a year now, she's always taken extra care to do a quality job on the nails and it really shows. I've been to many nail salons, a lot of them just find all sorts of ways to get as much money out of you as possible and from they way they provide service they can't wait to get you out the door to get the next client. With Nicole she's not like that at all, I can tell she takes pride in what she does. My nails last a long time if I'm not aggressive with them while cleaning etc. I also really enjoy chatting with her, she's very sweet and has a good heart. The nail salon is very petite and modest, but if you care about getting good value for good results more than anything then it's more than worth a try!
Update in 2024: Back here after moving back to Van and Iris does it again. She is amazing! I’ve been to many nail salons (both Japanese and North American techniques) in Toronto downtown and Calgary and nothing beats her skill. These are the only nails that will stay on 2+ months. Not to mention the best customer service. Can’t recommend more highly enough!

I came to Olfa with a head of box dyed regret. My hair was in really rough shape. During our consultation, she was honest about what she could do- and what it would take to get me where I wanted to be. She gave me realistic options and let me decide on the course, no upselling. Through our 6 hours together, she was an absolute delightful, giving me her undivided attention. Aside from her outstanding technical skill and knowledge, she is truly a gem to get to know. I was blown away by my hair transformation. My color turned out stunning and the cut was one of the best I've ever had- truly. No breakage or damage to my hair after the fact (I was really worried about that). Her salon is really charming and exceptionally clean. And the cherry on top? Her salon is woman’s only- and she is especially careful in this regard. Overall, 10/10 experience. Will definitely be going back, and would recommend Olfa for color correction!

Came here for a haircut with Patrick for the first time yesterday. I noticed that every hairdresser there would clean up right after their customer leaves so the salon is tidy. Patrick dropped the comb during the haircut and he immediately rinsed it (instead of just picking it up and continuing). The whole experience was comfortable.

Ire did such a wonderful job with my hair - both the cut and the colour. At each step, she explained things very thoroughly and always made sure I was happy with the direction before continuing. She was very knowledgeable with colouring; she explained how the coloured hair would look now, in the future, and how it would work on your own hair. It wasn't one of those salons where you show them the photo, they do it, and off you go - Ire explains how that colour would work for you specifically. And because seemed so knowledgeable and genuine, she made the whole process so comfortable. I trusted her judgement and my hair turned out so well! Really recommended!!

I had my first facial with Lisa, and it exceeded every expectation.
From the moment we started, Lisa made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to explain every step of the treatment, answered all of my questions with patience, and created a plan tailored to my main concern, stubborn hyperpigmentation. Rather than offering a one size fits all approach, she walked me through exactly how each treatment would work together and what I could realistically expect.
The facial itself was incredible. Every step, from the chemical peel to the mask, felt intentional, but the facial, neck, and shoulder massage was on another level. I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep, which says everything about how calming the experience was.
What really stood out was the care Lisa took after the treatment. She reviewed every product she had used, recommended a skincare routine specific to my skin, and explained the science behind each recommendation in such a clear, approachable way. Her depth of knowledge is truly impressive, and she has a gift for making even complex skincare concepts easy to understand.

Absolutely loved my experience at Greenfield Spa! The environment is clean, calming, and beautifully set up — from the soothing music to the relaxing aromatherapy scents. I had a meridian massage and the therapist was incredibly professional, with just the right amount of pressure. I felt so much lighter and more refreshed afterwards. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and attentive! It’s rare to find such a high-quality spa in Richmond — I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends!

I've been to Allranell a few times, mostly because I received a gift certificate from a friend. I haven't had their pedicures but I've heard from knowledgeable sources that they do one of the best pedicures around. I have had waxing done and I absolutely recommend their waxing services. I never felt overly self-conscious, especially considering the area I was having waxed. They were very good about making me feel comfortable and that I didn't feel any unnecessary pain. Also, throughout the experience, I never felt any pressure to buy products of any kind from them. My only complaint is that occasionally, it seems reception isn't quite sure what they're doing and/or they're not sure how long to book appointments for, as they seem to run late-ish.
It was my first time visiting, and I was really impressed. The place is spacious, clean, and very relaxing. I especially enjoyed the hot tea—it added a nice touch to the overall experience. My RMT did an incredible job, and I left feeling refreshed and well taken care of. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!
Just had the best massage I’ve had in a very long time. After a terrific 90 minute signature session I I felt like a new man. My knees did not ache while walking and by the time I got home I had the energy and the will to deal with the physical house chores that awaited me. Both my physical and mental self felt very positive and renewed. Awesome.

My one and only complaint would be, when we went back to pay for our parking, it came to over $60! For 2.5hrs. My friend and I freaked out. There needs to be parking validation for people going to the spa or at least a discount. We sadly won't be back just due to the parking situation. Was not worth it.

They far exceeded my expectations. All of the artists in the shop are extremely talented and passionate about what they do. It is a clean, welcoming, and friendly environment. When it comes time to do my right arm, I will be going back. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a tattoo. I don't think there is a better shop in B.C.

We had our boiler fail on us just one month after moving into a new place, on Christmas Eve of all evenings! Being an Ashton member, I didn’t hesitate to call Ashton for the service and Japn was promptly at my door on Christmas morning. He spent almost 3 hours diagnosing the problem, he was not in a hurry, but spent time answering all our questions as we were scrambling with a plan to do without hot water and heat.
Japn and Abhi came back the next day (26th) to get the work started, they were thorough, and lay the temporary flooring throughout the entire house to not dirty our space. The work required 2 days and Japn and Prabh completed after the weekend with another 1/2 day of work. Japn was reassuring and very patient with all our questions and concerns.
Becoming an Ashton member in the fall was the best decision as I can only imagine the call out fee for Christmas Day. Although it was not in our plan to have to replace the boiler so quickly, Ashton did it as smoothly as possible. I really am grateful for Japn, he spent many days of this holiday season at our home and we are so glad to have our hot water and heat back!

Our hydronic floor heating system stopped working. They sent someone on the same day, and the technician was great! Knowledgeable and efficient; he was taciturn but answered my questions clearly. Highly recommend if you ever had to experience a heater breakdown.

Today a staircase carpet runner was installed in our home. The whole experience selecting the carpet, having it measured for a quote and the instillation were convenient and professional. We were especially impressed with the installer Mahony who cut the three section runner out of a single piece so there are no seams on the two landings. Brilliant, quick and tidy!

Super easy to work with, provided great drawings, samples, brought in the right people, kept the area tidy and clean, no damage to areas around it, excellent communication…did an excellent job ON TIME and ON BUDGET. We were so pleased with the results, would definitely recommend and use again.

Well Miho is the star. An absolutely amazing ideas and design master. Japanese trained and it shows, the attention to detail, the efficiency of her design, her knowledge of materials/value for money spent and dedication to perfection is second to nonewuwu3e. We are hands on clients, and she was incredibly patient and easy to work with, very considerate of all our ideas and made our vision work. She was the best human resource by far of all our new build subs. A tireless trooper, outworking all other people that worked on the build. She also was able to meet all our esoteric demands in xnot only the kitchen, the mud room storage closets and bathroom cabinetry. And on top of that bringing us pastries, wow!
We also have to give a nod to Ming, the installer, like Meho he works ungodly hours, with an incredibly hi quality of workmanship and attention to fit and finish details. His perseverance in getting it done enabling us to move in on time to meet our rental deadline.
The Quality of the construction was also impressive, very solid and the aesthetic met our exceedingly high standards, quality hardware, everything works and unbelievably all our cooking gear fits with room to spare.
All in all we are very lucky our neighbour recommended I Love Kitchens and we would not hesitate to also recommend to anyone…. Consider I Love Kitchens, you will LOVE it.

I woke up to a racoon forcing its way in to my attic and making a huge racket … I called several services and this gentleman answered the phone at 5 am!his service was priced competitively and he could come that day so I booked him. As mentioned he was very responsive by text and showed up on time. He couldn’t find any sign of raccoons so he set cage traps and said he’d come back. 20 minutes after he left we saw the raccoon on our roof! Even though it was the end of a long day he turned around and came back when we called, chased the raccoon off and blocked up the entry hole. By the time he was done it was well after hours and he was polite and professional through the whole process.

I first came across Terraform when Jeremy was clearing out invasive bamboo from a neighbour's backyard. This included installing a new retaining wall and fence. I would pop by a few times to see how the work was going and I found he was very friendly, hardworking and I thought he was doing a great job. Given all that I asked him to quote me on a retaining wall and a few fence posts that needed replacing on my property.
The quote was very reasonable but the timing wasn't quite right so we put it on hold. I didn't feel any pressure from Jeremy/Terraform on that decision which I appreciated. Fast forward ~6 months and we got in contact again and they came out and did the work over about 1 week's time.
I felt like Jeremy did a really good job explaining the approach he was taking and he did a good job communicating how the work was coming along. The end product looks like its going to last which is what we want.
Overall I would highly recommend Terraform (especially Jeremy) and when we need our fence replaced in a few years I'll be reaching out to them.

Came here for Dr. Bill Yeung when I had 9 months of chronic back pain from a minor accident. He managed to resolve it within 6 sessions. I really appreciated his honest approach. He said if he could resolve the pain, I would see the effects within 8 sessions. If it persists, then there would be no point in me seeing him continuously. Fortunately, Dr Yeung fixed it within 6 sessions. I have been back pain free since then!
Dr. Corey Leung treated me today and my back feels a lot better! Dr. Leung is kind, professional, knowledgeable and an amazing individual. Treatment is affordable and not rushed. All the staff are friendly and greets you with a smile. You won't find a better doctor for your back!!
I began bringing my kids to Dr. Bonnie around the age of 4 and 5. I was noticing my son would run into walls a lot (resulting in huge welts right on his forehead) and originally just thought it was clumsiness. Some further research showed that some Chiropractic adjustments could actually help reduce these kinds of trips/falls and I was happy to find Dr. Bonnie as I felt very comfortable with her treating my children. She thoroughly assessed my kids, and noted that he had one leg longer than the other (which means he was probably tripping over himself, literally, all this time)! We met with her just for several sessions where she re-aligned him and we have not had issues since! My kids are now 9 and 10, and we schedule to see her anytime the kids have bigger-than-usual falls or trip ups, so we usually schedule an appointment for times when we have noticed the kids playing a little more rough on the soccer field or more falls in gymnastics, just to get them realigned. We are so grateful for how she's always so thorough each session and Seema, the receptionist is also very welcoming and friendly! They always give my kiddos a treat when we leave, which of course, the kids love.

This place needs higher reviews. I cannot count how many times Dr Javaid Chaudhry has saved my cats considering the shenanigans they've gotten up to after 11.5 years.

Over the years, I’ve also referred countless Woofer Walkers Doggy Daycare Resort & Sanctuary clients to Christine and her wonderful team because I know they’ll be looked after with the same exceptional care and kindness that my own dogs receive.
They have always gone above and beyond for me. Whenever one of my dogs needs grooming, they somehow manage to fit us in as quickly as possible, even when they’re incredibly busy. Their customer service is second to none.

Took my family for a foot massage recently and we all really enjoyed it - especially my grandmother! The Odlin location was clean, quiet, and was pretty easy to get to. Parking was plentiful and check-in was a breeze. The Team was ready for our group as we arrived. The staff were kind and checked in to make sure the pressure was okay for each of us, which I appreciated since everyone has different preferences. The massage itself felt great and super relaxing and helped with sore feet after a long week.

Had an amazing session with Jiyoon Karen Kim!!! I truly can't recommend her enough. After trying out several RMTs across Richmond, I found her treatment be the most transformative. She focused on my lower back, shoulder and neck which have been consistent pain points for me. She was super thorough, really massaging into each tense muscle, making sure to relief the knots one by one. Pressure was really good throughout, felt like she understood how much pressure to give depending on the body part. I was extremely satisfied!
She was also very kind, caring and friendly! She even recommended me several stretching exercises I can do, and explained to me when and how to do them. I had to come on here and leave a review for Shane! I went in for athletic therapy with pretty bad Achilles pain it was affecting my entire heel and had me almost limping, I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have some sort of pain there!. Two days later, I’m pain-free.
It was a full 360 treatment, stretching, massage, realignment work, and even used this electric gun at the end (not sure what it’s called, but you’ll know it when you hear it). Every bit of my treatment felt intentional and tailored to what I needed.
More than anything, I felt genuinely cared for. That level of attention and wanting to make the most out of ever minute, makes such a difference. Waking up today without pain honestly feels amazing. I shouldn’t have waited this long. Anyways, she’s great and I’ll be coming back. Don’t forget to take care of your body.

Hands down the best and most experienced Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner in metro Vancouver, if not the entire lower mainland/province. It is a favour and blessing to our local community that Dr Pang still practices. TCM is more than just a method - it’s an entire system of wellness that expands way beyond a medication or course of treatment and includes addressing all levels of a persons life for optimal wellness. This is not easily learnt and requires extensive training, TIME and experience to develop expertise. Dr Pang’s decades of experience make her the superstar that she is - I appreciate her direct and clear communication and straightforward, practical advice. She will never make you spend more money than you have to and sends you home with ideas to help yourself be in better shape.
After a cupping & acupuncture session with her I feel grounded, safe, and better in my own body already. When I first started, I honestly thought I might never be able to learn how to drive confidently. However, Nicholas changed that completely. His calm teaching style, patience, and clear step-by-step guidance made a huge difference in my learning experience.
I’ve had lessons with different instructors before and appreciated them as well, but Nicholas stood out in a very unique way. He is consistently calm, composed, and in control during lessons, which helped me stay relaxed and focused.
