I absolutely love this place! The same person grooms my dog every time I bring him in. It's calm and not filled with barking dogs. This is the only place I've taken my dog and he never seems stressed or anxious when I pick him up.

My dog Otis has gone here twice now and I am super happy I finally found a groomer that my shy boy loves!Otis is a standard poodle and we get a German Clip, he has anal gland problems, and very dirty ears (poodles am I right?). Both times we've gone in we were greeted warmly, the shop is small and busy, but very open. There are no secret back rooms at this groomer, they groom in the open with several friendly dogs sometimes wondering around. You'll receive a call a day before your appointment as a reminder, which I appreciate. A full groom for my medium size dog takes about 4 hours, and cost around 150.00. The best groomer in the area. These folks are quick, accommodating, friendly, transparent, and professional.They must take really good notes, because they've been spot-on for every request I've made, and I never have to repeat myself. My previous groomer, for example, cut off my dog's beard 4 times in a row and 3 of those times I looked somebody in the eyes and said "please don't cut off his beard." But at Designer Dog, they really care.The prices are a little higher here than other groomers, but I think it's totally worth it to be able to completely trust them. Every time I pick up my pups, they are happy and beautiful, and that's the most important part.
